Ordered for pick up. Easy location to find. Located in a plaza with shared parking that can be busy but there's a lot of spaces. They had some chairs/tables inside. I ordered the most basic of the sandwiches and it was great. Lots of meat, and sweet peppers. It was like eating a sloppy joe tho. The filling wouldnt stay in the bread so I kept having to scoop it back into the bread, meat has lots of flavor and cheese is gooey. Get lots of napkins and a fork or spoon. This location is clean and they have great customer service as well. I usually get their classic chicken Philly KING size. I share it and it's big enough for 2 people with an order of steak fries for each too. I've had their steak classic Philly and it's very good but their chicken is the best. I went to the one in Pleasanton today, and really enjoyed my Philly cheesesteak with curly fries. The Philly cheesesteak I had was the original and small size. I had all the peppers and onions added. The meat inside of the Philly cheesesteak was very tender, moist and juicy. You could tell it was a good piece of beef. The bread was fresh and soft, and the cheese melted perfectly on to it. This was all cooked with onions and I added the peppers to it. It was the perfect Philly cheesesteak sandwich in my opinion. I always order the curly fries because they do have a kick to it and with ketchup it is fantastic, no other fast food restaurant can match their curly fries. We ordered a large order of the onion rings and all of them were except for one of the rings were burned and almost blackened. Additionally, our order of garlic fries were way overcooked and extremely dry, which is not normal for Cheesesteak Shop. The sandwiches were fine. I am extremely upset that I paid good money for food that was subpar and almost inedible, and no longer trust getting anything other than the cheesesteak sandwiches from this location. I plan to contact their corporate office as well to provide feedback pertaining to my experience. My advice to this location is do better.
