I love Philz coffee, but service is kinda slow. It took more than 30 to get 2 cups of coffee here. I'm usually in a hurry and on the go, so I will think twice before coming here for a quick caffeine intake again. I thought the app is designed to make ordering quick and easy. A little disappointed with my last visit.

Popular coffee chain - just not a good fit for our family. We stopped by this morning after visiting Valley Humane Society nearby instead of going to our usual coffee shops in town. The parking lot was full, so we parked a little further away in a spot next to a Thai restaurant. The establishment was busy, but clean. We were first in line, and a bit stumped as the selection was a bit meager. I was disappointed that they didn't list some of the drinks I've enjoyed at Philz Coffee's in San Francisco or Palo Alto. So we ordered an assortment of sweet treats and drinks that WERE available, then sat at a table to enjoy them. The food was passable - it was not heated properly, so we didn't enjoy it. The drinks were meh - the missus ordered medium sweet coffee but it wasn't sweet enough, and our tween didn't enjoy her hot chocolate. Total bill was about $40 after tax and tip. Service was professional but impersonal - we had to ask for napkins as none were provided with our food. I'm all for cost cutting but when I've just paid $5 for a small drip coffee, I expect a napkin with our twice-baked almond croissant. IF we stop by again, we will probably use the drive through.

Sooo happy Philz finally came to a location near me! This Philz has a drive thru & thankfully is not too busy during the day! they have drive up spots to run in and grab your coffee on the go. The drinks are always made well at this location! My only con about this place is probably the location. The parking lot is quite small and busy. The location is located deep into Pleasanton which is inconvenient when you're coming from the freeway. But the coffee is worth the drive! I recommend the Tiramisu Latte!

I love Philz. Idk why this location has 3 stars? I've been to this one a few times and the drinks are always consistent and fast. I always order ahead to beat the rush and grab & go. Haven't tried the drive thru yet, but maybe one day!! Ecstatic to have them coming out this way and hopefully continue more toward the Central Valley (:

I was working in the area and I always like to scout out places around my job to try things. Seeing Philz on my map, I always have to get my morning fixings. I ordered on the app prior to leaving my house and my drink was ready when I got there. There was a huge line at the drive thru (one of the few places that have one). I stress ordering ahead if possible so that you can get your drink on time. Tiramasu: This is a part of their limited menu and it's my absolute favorite. It is reminiscent of having the delectable dessert with the ladyfingers, cocoa powder, coffee and mascarpone cheese. It was not overtly sweet nor bitter to me. I was able to savor every sip of the way. The staff there was extremely nice and polite and checked in on my order prior to me leaving to ensure it was the right sweetness and creaminess for me. Overall, always have a good experience at Philz and looking forward to going back again.

So happy that they have a Philz closer to me! Came on a Saturday morning around 9:30 with minimal wait and tons of parking! The staff here are so friendly and try their best to make your drink to your liking.

Years ago when I brought a Philz reusable mug, I paid a SMALL for it to be filled up. That was prior to Covid shutdown. Obviously now the discount for using a reusable cup/mug is 10c discount. The location is convenient, I wish the parking lot is easier to park. With cones lined up to split the come/go traffic near the drive thru, it is slightly hard to turn right into the parking lot. Barista and cashier are both very friendly: 5 stars for this! Coffee tastes SO good as usual! Nice decor and ambiance.

Shout out to Savannah for her great customer service! Savannah apologized for some minor technical difficulties with the computer system when taking my order. Then asked me to taste my coffee to see if met my expectations. Thanks Savannah! You rock!

We went to Livermore and were craving Philz coffee. We checked Yelp and found this place to be the closest to our location. This was our first time visiting this location, and we were surprised to find a drive-thru. We ordered online on their apps so that we don't have to queue at their drive-thru. I have their Tiramisu which consists of a sip of decadence with Philtered Soul, tiramisu swirl, and cocoa powder on top. I ordered the cold drink but you can also order hot. The apps gave a completion time on the order and our order came out on time. This drink is delicious. It's not that sweet and you can taste the flavor of the cocoa on every sip. The place was full on the weekend however the service was fast. I always love Philz coffee but we have to drive far now to get to the nearest store.

Same great coffee, plus a friendly opening crew! Placed an order for mobile pickup on a Sunday morning and was greeted by name upon entering. The barista saw me looking at my phone and assumed I was the mobile order coming in for pickup (accurate assumption)! They chatted while my coffees were made and had the beverages ready by the time estimated in the app. Ordered a medium gratitude, large tantalizing Turkish and medium tesora. All coffees were well made and prepared as requested - thank you Mady!

Most choco coffee since sipping chocolate, but not THAT Thick, mocha, try the Tiramisu if you love that

Service is tops notch. So far. Food they even have x2 vegan breakfast items, I enjoyed the impossible type noggin muffin w nong and vegan yellow nocheez and a driv-thru. They should of chgd from kfcee to Philz along time ago. I had the new Tiramisu hot bev and liked it alot. I.am usually the hot chaiguy even tho the iced is better. Missed Falls Banana Caramel Again. This is my 39th coffe & tea R Ambiance getting Pleasanton Museum help on historical downtown history pics, nice touches. First went through 2nd, at time of writing, in California drive-thru and that was@ 0517am. Came back 10isham and went inside for more shop vibe atmosphere and ordering Philz experience. For those of you that have yet to experience any Philz, their is NO Espresso Machine period. House of Drip[ or blend or mix]. Pour over, IDK how they do a driv thru this way?? Slower process and no speeddemons here, it's a process, almost old school, good to the last Drop. Cold brew is here also. Unity is my fave beans. My go to is the Rise' [not from Black Pink] coffee, u rs rose flav and pink top. Just different. Most seem to order filtered Soul. Alot of diff notes with add ins. They have an app finally with rewards as they didn't even in SF City stores If you have time, savor the experience. Go in and sit down, but keep alert for when they call out ' your name' for your order. City Center across county kine in San Ramon has one but no driv thru there and Walnut Creek for the ztri-valley. Parking is limited but I am sure the rest next door doesnt.mind pkg overflow in the back when their not open. X3 10m p/up spots outside the door, so don't try ordering chicken in the driv thru unless a seasonal chicken & waffle sandwich alike m Peet's down the road! Alot of Merch inside besides whole beans to purchase for home service. Since they open@ 5 I'll be back, they have a mocha that is all about chocolate...and the coffee of course. Nice hangover. Cheers.

Woo-hoo! Soft opening at the Pleasanton Philz! I managed to get a parking spot in their lot, but there are plenty of parking spaces in the adjacent shopping center. The store is bright, open, and inviting. Beautiful murals inside and out. There is a drive-thru as well, but I wanted to go in, see the shop, & interact with staff. As you know, drinks are made one cup at a time so, as you know, there is a little bit of a wait, but no complaints here. My drink was great, made to my specific order. I wish that they had more vegan food options, but that's how it is at all Philz locations.

For the first visit to this Philz coffee shop with a one lane drive thru I was there about 30 min from closing 5:30 pm. The drive thru wasn't busy at all but it obviously wasn't a coffee time. This is the first Philz coffee with a drive thru. It used to be a KFC restaurant. The style and lighting and building colors of the place grab your attention right away. I didn't elect to use the drive thru but I was curious as how it looked inside so I went inside for my first experience here. As you enter 4 several parking spots which are advertised as 10 minute pickup parking. Entering the place is bright but not overly bright. The yellow tones have a mellowing effect in. My opinion. No line as it was closing out time and pretty dark as the DST started 4 days ago. The lady who took my order was very polite , smiling and helpful and you could tell she had a long day . She informed me some of the sweets from the morning are out as it was probably really busy since they just opened. The place is relaxing coffee spot for customers and PC has a cult following. This is a test spot for the drive thru edition - they chose the 925 area code and Pleasanton at a not too busy main street. I saw cones in the small parking lot so I bet it was busy earlier on this hump Wednesday just as the grand opening started. Next time I will use the drive thru and see how smoothly it's going . They have plenty of employees here all good with customer service. I ordered a hot tiramisu it was delicious. After you order you pickup your order on the right side where there is a long bench Bathroom code is 1803. 5/5 for my First time. The plus is the seating and plenty of charging ports that are pretty much implanted on the surface of the tables . This is a great addition to the Pleasanton coffee scene. So glad it's close. Use the app for faster pickups and store your credit cards if you wish too of course.

I cannot get enough of it! Order here is very convenient as you can do so via the Snackpass app. They also have the QR code in front to order there and a standing ordering station that you can do so yourself. As for parking, it does get a little crowded at times, especially when people are waiting to get a spot or trying to parallel park along the median area. During the busy hours, the wait is a bit... but it's very worth it to me. The employees don't have much interaction with customers, but it seems that everything is done very efficiently behind the counter with order numbers constantly being called out and such. The shop inside is small with just a few seats to wait, mostly best to wait outside for your number to be called (or the app to notify you that your order is ready). Front is clean and cutely decorated, menu displayed clearly as well. The 2 go to drinks for me here is the Passion Fruit Green Tea and the Mango Passion Smoothie. QQ Noodles and Cubed Pearls are a must have for me as I love the chewy texture (makes me think of mochi cakes from Yi Fang too). The tea is always very smooth and yet present in the drinks. As for the Mango Passion Smoothie, there's a very strong mango flavor without it tasting artificial at all! Everything tastes made with fresh fruits and much care. My friend did order a Bubble Waffle here. Getting it fresh and having some, it was not the most memorable waffle. The flavor is as you'd expect it... but it doesn't fall a bit flat. I think I personally prefer Happy Lemon's bubble waffle. Overall though... I love the drinks here enough to honestly ignore the food. Final Thoughts: This will definitely be my to go place in this area and I'm already craving a stop here already.

It is amazing how many boba drink places exist in Downtown Pleasanton. We finally got ourselves to…read morecheck out the most recent addition to the area. Our recent visits have been to return for the avocado smoothie, which is not a common drink offering at Boba places, and popcorn chicken. The avocado smoothie is okay and not the best, however, it will do given none of the nearby places offer this drink. But the real winner is their popcorn chicken which comes with a decently sized-portion and the batter is perfect in amount and flavor. We don't particularly like our food spicy, so we always request for them to not add additional pepper sprinkled on top. That makes it perfect for us. However, if you like your food more spicy, definitely let them know. The only way to do this is if you order directly through a cashier or you somehow get their attention before they finish your order. Otherwise, ordering through the kiosk does not allow you to input any special requests. Service is not particularly fast especially when they get bombarded by the students from the middle schools and high school in the afternoon. I have yet to try their milk tea, but I haven't come to want to take the chance given one of my favorites is not that far of a walk from Honi-Bear. In any case, the location is great in the heart of downtown to treat ourselves to some drinks and snacks!

Such a neat cafe to come study/work, on a date or with a group of friends…read more I arrived with a friend on Sunday to a packed cafe, the ambience was warm and cozy compared to the rain outside. Since the inside was packed, we opted for one of the coveted outdoor seating areas and were spared any additional rain. Ordering at the counter was quick and easy. The bakery display had so many delightful treats and pastries, we got a small mixed tray to try a few of the different nougats and Turkish delights. The Rose Milk chai was perfect! Spicy with just a hint of rose to wrap it all up. The Mocha was balanced and tasty too. All in all it was a nice way to catch up with a friend and enjoy a variety of sweets. I'll be back again, even if it's just to grab a to-go order!
