This Sharetea location in San Ramon used to be our favorite boba spot, and the QQ Happy Family was always our go-to drink. What made it special--and what made it a "Happy Family"--was the variety of toppings: regular pearls, mini pearls, grass jelly, pudding, lychee jelly, and red bean. Several months ago, they stopped carrying mini pearls, which was already disappointing. Then, when my daughter and I visited yesterday, we learned that the QQ Happy Family no longer includes grass jelly, lychee jelly, or red bean either. At this point, most of the toppings that made the drink unique have been removed, so it really isn't the same drink anymore. We were both extremely disappointed. This used to be the Sharetea location we preferred, but unfortunately, with so many of our favorite toppings now gone, it's very unlikely that we'll return. read more

Surprised I hadn't left feedback for this Sharetea from awhile ago, but it happens. This Sharetea is located right near the Crow Canyon exit in the same shopping center as the Safeway and an abundance of other stores, shops and eateries, and it's also not even the only boba place in this shopping center. This particular location isn't a large one, as it's mostly primed for takeout and just has tiny tables in and out. I won't speak to the menu itself, since it's basically the same as all the other spots. This particular Sharetea is usually a bit slower than some of the other ones I've been to. In general, they tend to really take their time when taking orders, clearing the line, making the drinks, and overall just doesn't feel as smooth as some of the other locations. As far as the drink quality goes, it's rather hit or miss at times too as sometimes the drinks are as good as any other spot, and sometimes it's just mediocre flavored water at best. Again, there's more than 1 boba spot in this same shopping center, not to mention other spots that desserts also. If you get here on a good day, then no issues, but rather luck of the draw at that point. read more

My niece wanted to come here for her birthday because she loves the Thai tea with boba from here and the reviews are really good. Since she was getting a drink I figured I would get a drink as well. I love matcha and wanted to give it a try plus from the website picture the drink looks super refreshing but unfortunately I regret getting the drink and wasted $9. The taste was chalky and syrupy, I didn't get any fresh strawberry purée but more so just a strawberry syrup, mixed it together and tasted like chalky nothing. Idk if it was the almond milk they used, the matcha, or non existent strawberry purée or a combo of all 3 but it just was not it. I really wanted to like the drink but couldn't get past the taste so I threw the whole drink away, what a waste. I was super disappointed in the whole experience. read more

This place has a fantastic variety of tea and boba to choose from. The food is delicious and the service is overall good too as well as the ambiance. The one biggest criticism with this place though is the pricing of the drinks as they are a bit expensive. That is expected though especially at a place like this. But there are still better choices or cheaper options nearby. Go here if it has to be a last resort, but be careful with how much you spend. read more

I generally like Sharetea as a brand. So when I found myself in San Ramon and saw that there was a location very close to me, I knew I had to stop by. Popping in around 5pm on a weekday, this spot was pretty quiet with only 1 other person in front of me. Placed an order at the self-service kiosk, and my order was made pretty promptly afterwards by a friendly yet efficient barista. Decided on the Mango & Passion Fruit Tea. This place charges $0.75 if you opt for the no ice option. And boba toppings were pretty pricey at an additional $1. While I found the fruit tea very refreshing, the boba was sadly very firm and thus not very enjoyable. The price of the boba here is definitely on the higher end. And while I don't mind paying a premium for great boba, this experience sadly did not live up to expectations. read more

This Sharetea location is in the Diablo Plaza. This is a quieter area / plaza, so there is plenty of shared parking. They are opened until 11 PM over Fridays / Saturdays, so that is convenient, as not much is opened this late in the area. I came in right before closing, and the employee working that night was friendly and made my drink quickly. I ordered my usual, their green milk tea with boba. My milk tea tasted creamy, but just slightly bitter - overall decent milk tea. My drink was a tad on the sweeter side compared to my usual location. read more

Standard drinks but extremely slow service on a Sunday afternoon with drinks ready 15-20 minutes after the promised pickup time :( I ordered in advance specifically to make it more convenient for myself but in this case it was not. Only one employee was working (strange especially for the weekend, I think) - and I felt bad for him but really this is misplanned management. Also the fact that the drinks are now ~$8 each (without toppings) is really pushing it for a non-boutique boba chain. If you want less ice, it's +$0.10 and no ice is +$0.50, and even swapping out toppings (like taking the included pearls in a drink and swapping for aloe instead) costs a buck extra. Unfortunately it seems like this location is all about the profit and that makes for an unfortunate customer experience. read more
