This Happy Lemon location really stands out in the East Bay! The staff, especially Jordan and John, always greet you with a smile, making every visit special. It's kept so clean, and the plants add a lovely touch of nature that makes the atmosphere even more welcoming!
Got a mango matcha and it was like $8?!?!?? Since when. ??? It's good don't get me wrong but prices are absurd omg!
Ordered on the app and it was quickly filled in 10 min. We got an Oreo bubble waffles and a mango matcha smoothie. This bubble waffle is one of the best in the bay! Very crispy on the outside and soft in the inside! Even after 30 min, it's still crispy!! The mango matcha smoothie was good too. The balance between the mango and matcha flavor was perfect. Neither one was overpowering.
Excellent place to stop by for a tasty treat if you're in the Crow Canyon Commons complex in San Ramon. Our teen and I stopped by this afternoon and were warmly welcomed by the owner, who took the trouble to describe the options and even made us a sample of their signature drink - green tea with salted cheese (!) - to try. "Take a sip, not a gulp, that includes some salted cheese (which floats on top) with the green tea," he said. I did, and was hooked!! I immediately ordered a large one, and our daughter went for the matcha tea with salted cheese (both $6.50). We also got an original waffle (they make six types, including red bean, which is not listed on the menu) with a dipping sauce which was... you guessed it... salted cheese! The waffle and drinks were delish. We polished off the waffle (I enjoyed the salted cheese more than our daughter did) and our drinks, then stepped out into the April drizzle, happy and content as we could be! Pro-tip: They cater high school and other events - we are planning to take them up on it!!
My wife and I love this place and come at least once a week. The Mango Matcha Smoothie is always our go-to although they have so many good choices to choose from. The Mango Matcha is thirst quenching and not too sweet which is exactly how I like it. If we're feeling hungry, we always add the Original Bubble Waffle with the Puff Cream. We never get the waffle by itself. The Puff Cream just makes it a thousand times better. Regardless of what we get, the staff is always super friendly and our drinks are almost always made on time when we call it in or order through the app. Overall, I give this place 4 stars for always having good drinks and friendly service. Some things that would definitely give this 5 stars: -The bubble waffle is often made inconsistently and it's usually because of the person making it. Sometimes we have to get our order cancelled because the waffle-maker just isn't working right. -While ordering in the app is great, it doesn't match the store hours. -It's almost always so hot and humid inside which makes me not want to stick around and enjoy my drink. Besides that, the great service and tasty drinks always go a long way for me.
I always wanted to try Happy Lemon and noticed a new one opened in the Crow Canyon Commons shopping center. It's like any boba place, order at the counter and wait for your order. It was quite busy for being there midday on a Saturday. Service was friendly. I wanted to try the waffle and a plain jasmine green tea. I think I would have been better off just ordering my tea. The waffle took long, I was warned, but did it anyway. The one part that was confusing was I couldn't find the garbage can to throw away the straw paper. Actually, it was hiding behind a group of girls who were just hanging around the area. I didn't dislike it but it's one of those places that I wouldn't go out of my way to go to. if I'm in the area, I would consider it.
Finally writing the much deserved review for this Happy Lemon Location! Other than a few in south bay, this Happy Lemon consistently makes the most delicious drinks, it feels a bit more flavorful than other locations in this area. When they opened, they were extremely friendly to my parents and their service dog. I haven't been back in awhile but decided to stop by and they made this drink PERFECTLY!!! Perfect blend of lemon and mango slushy, mixed it before so my jelly and boba were dispersed throughout the drink. Will definitely be back
I really had no idea there was a Happy Lemon store in the San Ramon's Crow Canyon area. Apparently it opened about a year ago. When we were there on a Saturday evening, the owner was there, and he was very nice. We chatted a little bit. I was really impressed by how clean the store was, and I really loved the leaf wall decoration, which was perfect for taking pics of your drinks. I got their regular Boba milk tea, and the milk tea was spot on. The milk tea drink itself was creamy and delicious. The Boba was also cooked pretty spot on. The Boba had the perfect sweetness, and it was soft but still chewy. I would get this again. The price was $6.25 as of April 2024, for the large size.
This happy lemon is always good, the tea is nice and strong. They added a Vietnamese coffee drink that's tasty, good roasted flavor to it. I think what they really need are self ordering pads. That way staff can mainly focus on making drinks unless someone really wants to order at the counter or has questions. They have a screen that shows what orders are up--they should take a look at the screen local kitchens in Lafayette uses, it shows what orders are ready in a really nice way. The drinks come out pretty quickly. If you like bubble waffles they have them here (original, matcha, oreo, chocolate, boba) with dipping sauce options (puff cream, taro puff cream, salted cheese).
Great place for boba. So many options. We also tried the bubble waffles. Place is very clean and friendly staff
Happy Lemon opened 3 years ago where Starbucks once was. Transformed into a happy lemon dispensary with 4 tables inside. Sparse decor beyond Lemon related branding. Quiet on a Sunday, plenty of parking. No lines. Greeted courteously, order handled efficiently, quickly. Ready in minutes. Offerings: salted cheese, milk tea, classic brewed tea, fruit tea. Lemon slushy, blended whole lemon, squeezed lemon, yakult, fruit smoothies.. Sips: matcha latte with salted cheese (L. 6.95) 25% ice/sugar. -initial taste: matcha faintly tasted at bottom, latte taste dominant. Salty cheese taste dominant on top. -when stirred, salty cheese taste neutralized. Sweetness dominant taste till end. Satisfying. Haven't had in many years. Repeatable in a year to avoid boredom. May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islander Heritage Month. read more

This Happy Lemon recently took over the old Starbucks location in this small strip of stores, this location is more convenient than the Blackhawk location as its right off the freeway close to "downtown" San Ramon. This location offers a fresh new interior, ample seating, and friendly service. Menu wise, is pretty much the same with only minor changes I believe. Prices seem to have gone up since visiting Happy Lemon a few months ago. Drinks were good and tasted consistent with other locations which is great as a brand. Service was ok. I understand new employees need training, but this should have been addressed before opening such as familiarizing yourself with the menu/and knowing what drinks have what in them. Overall, A more convenient and friendly happy Lemon location. read more

I always love the green tea with cheese foam at Happy Lemon, today, they recommended me a new drink - fresh dragonfruit with lychee juice and cheese foam. It tasted so bad, the drink is too sweet and it's not match with the salted cheese foam. read more
