I got their winter melon milk tea with pudding - not too sweet. I also got their fried tofu, it was a little salty but still good. I've been here a few times myself and other times my mom and sisters have picked up something up for me. We all agree it really is one of the best boba tea places in the area. The other places I've been to honestly don't stack up. There are a wide variety of options and the tea is made pretty much exactly how I want it every time. It is pretty busy though. At other places, I take my fried tofu at L5, but at this location, I dial that baby down to L2 - because the last time I got my regular order, I was looking at little chunks covered in black spice. I used to work at the t4 location in Dublin years ago, so I decided to stop by at this location since I wanted affordable boba. Even though it's been years since I got boba at the t4 locations in the SR/Dublin area, i knew that they had to update their menu with something new at some point. Went in today to try their Guava Green Tea. I added boba into mine. Placed my order, and waited. Cashier was pretty much on their phone every other order. I was considering going to up the Chinese restaurant next door to order some take out, but I decided to stand and watch them make my one singular drinks. There were a few orders ahead of me, and their orders came out consistently. A guy who was making drinks was pretty much also on his phone every other drink that goes into the sealing machine. In my mind I'm like, "quit touching your phone, you're getting your phone all sticky and I don't want your phone germs in my drink." I noticed the other girl making drinks was making a new batch of tea. Her hair was longer than shoulder length and NOT TIED BACK. The girl ended up making my drink because she was new and needed to learn how to make the drink. (40 guava? I think it should be 50 in my opinion.) When she was taking her time to make her drink, it was around 5pm, the shift changing time. I noticed a lot of things. The guy who making the drinks was touching his face. The employee coming in for his shift didn't wash his hands. The person cashier guy touched his face before scooping out boba for another order. The girl finished making my drink and it was sealed. I waited to see how long it took for any of the guys to realize that the drink has been sitting there at the sealer. Took the guys 2 minutes to realize since the guy who was making drinks was on his phone (literally right next to the sealer) and the cashier guy looked at his phone after scooping out the boba. The girl was cleaning up the work station so I don't blame her. The person who came in for the 5 pm shift didn't clock in yet. After watching all of this, I came to the conclusion that the usage of personal phones is worse than Dublin (based on reviews after I left 2 years ago.) The employees at Dublin would go on their phone when they finished serving all orders that were placed and cleaned up their workstation before going onto their phones. At least they finished serving the customer, not check their phones after every one drink or an order like here. Drink was alright. I prefer Ding Tea's guava green tea but there isn't one around here. Not a lot of places would have guava but this is okay. I think I'll stick to grocery store guava fruit tea in Pleasanton for now. I would only come back here if i have an affordable boba craving. Tables were pretty clean. Music was at reasonable volume. This used to be a very nice Quickly, before the owner abruptly decided to sell it. Fortunately.., another boba tea place bought this place, remodeled it, and opened it within a few weeks. Therefore, we have another T4 in the San Ramon area! I'm shocked at how quickly T4 opened this store after purchasing this location. Their interior looks very similar to other T4 locations, whereas the interior is more cozy & comfy with their tables & seats than Quickly's. They just opened on Easter Sunday March 27th, 2016; whereas they had all regular sized drinks for $2.50. Since they are very new, their workers are still getting accustomed to their positions, so they may be a little on the slow side. Otherwise, their drinks taste similar to their other T4 locations. Their hours of operations are from 11am-10pm Sunday-Thursday, and 11am-11pm on Friday & Saturday. I can see myself coming to location very frequently! read more

I grew up in San Ramon and back in the 90s/early 2000s we didn't have boba places around. I remember when the first boba shop in the area opened it was Cafe Tapioca in Dublin then a boba stand opened up inside the old Le Asia which is now the neighborhood Walmart. I would have loved to have more boba options when I still lived in SR. T4 used to be Quickly, which was better than T4. I've been to the T4 in Tracy before and that one was better than this SR store. The place was really dirty, especially the floor which was muddy. It looks like someone had walked out of a swamp and into T4. It really needs a good mopping. I ordered the mango tea which was overly sweet and I already have a sweet tooth. I got it with just the regular amount of sugar but it tasted like I was drinking mango syrup. It tastes similar to the mango juice powder that you can buy from Asian grocery stores. I suggest getting something else. I had the chocolate smoothie from their Tracy store and that was just alright but at least the place was cleaner. Overall, I do hope this or at least another boba shop stays in the plaza for whenever I visit home but they could definitely improve on cleanliness and drink recipes. read more

Ordered a Panda Milk Tea this afternoon after being conned by the large picture on the wall featuring a nice light GREEN drink with similar color pearls and jelly. This is the closest milk tea spot near my house I haven't really had an issue with them until...today. I walked in around 10:30pm with my sister, we had like 5 stamp cards to redeem for free drinks. After the "trainee" said we're not allowed to combine stamp cards, I got the managers attention and she said it was fine. I let it slide because he was a trainee but c'mon. Given the fact that there is a bubble tea place in Danville/San Ramon, I was happy to get my fix. Even better is that they are open so late. I was there until about 10:30pm and there was STILL a line (there wasn't one when I got there). (Side note: There was a car meetup going on in the parking lot, so that probably brought in a lot of traffic). Got an order of matcha egg puffs. It was good. Not really crispy around the edges that you find at some places (how I like it). Also ordered the panda milk tea: regular tapioca and crystal tapioca. A little strange having both tapioca textures, but it was good. (Another note: they have other food, but stop serving at a certain time. Nine maybe?) Overall, the food and atmosphere was chill. Okay, I'm not a fan of the oolong tea I had initially but just based on the ginger tea, I'm a fan. T4 basically came in fast after Quickly shut its doors. I was super bummed as Quickly, although not great, was REALLY cheap. I love cheap boba esp. when I'm craving for something and don't really want to pay the premium of ShareTea. For those that don't know, this T4 is located off of Bollinger Canyon Rd & Dougherty where the Safeway is located. I was surprised it showed up as there's already a T4 off of Alcosta. The first time I came here, I got the roasted oolong milk tea. The boba, if I remember correctly, was ok. The thing that I didn't like was although I got no ice and no sugar, the tea felt watered down even with the fact that it was a milk tea. There was no thickness to it, if you know what I'm saying? And if you don't, well...I don't know how else to describe it. Well I came again recently and got the ginger milk tea though I think the reason why I didn't get it earlier as because it only came in hot. But that's OK cause I transfer my drinks to a larger tub and put ice it in so it wasn't going to be an issue. Well good thing I have a larger tub to transfer because on its own it's VERY sweet. It's toothachingly sweet. So beware because you'll have to slowly sip this and hope you don't get a headache with it. Oh and mind you I didn't add any additional sugar to it (you know me and my sugar...I usually ask for 0%). The only thing they added was the creamer powder which I assume is the "milk." When I transferred the drink to my ice tub, to my surprise, there were slivers of ginger and boy does that make a difference to the ginger milk tea! This is what actually makes the drink much better than ShareTea. The ginger punches you on your tongue to give that spicy kick that I'm wanting in a ginger tea and which ShareTea lacks. I want my tongue and mouth to tingle! The aloe jelly was comparable to ShareTea's ice jelly. I'll have to try out the other drinks for sure and do a side by side with ShareTea, but right now they're both neck and neck though ShareTea does have freebies...they do edge T4 a little. Also ShareTea has the FiveStar program, T4 has just a card...so remember to grab a frequent buyer card! So if I had an ice tub with me and wanted a ginger milk tea, I would totally go here.
