Sips: drip coffee (4) black, no sugar/cream. -easy sipping, medium-ish roast, not bold, really hot. Though not as strong as I liked. The toast comes on a board with the business logo. The restaurant nicely split for us and put on two boards so we could have our own plate. Viewing their menu online shows you the full order sizes. We were pleased that the owner prepared and split the order for us to be helpful and friendly. Everybody has Avocado toast so had to try something different. Flavors were excellent and we will be back. The Mango Tango Alai bowl was a spring special. An Alai bowl is essentially a smoothie in a bowl without all the flavors being chopped up. We really liked the flavor combination. We normally do lattes but today had to try a spiced chai tea. The overall flavors and presentation was so much better the big chain coffee store, in our opinion. The overall appearance is modern, without being cluttered. The iced slow brew coffee is very good with a dash of half and half. The blue açai is extremely good and I get it without the coconut chips. I just personally don't like them and no granola. It is very very good. I highly suggest it. I think it would've been good if they put a drizzle of almond butter across the top. Next time I will ask for that. read more

I was so happy with the smoked salmon toast because the toast was easier to chew than the salmon tartine at Maison Benoit which is one of my favorite dishes to eat. Had lunch here recently with a friend, our lunch itself was nice... we both had the open faced tuna. For me was the place itself, once it got filled with some other customers it got quite noisy and hard to hear our conversation. Sitting outside wasn't an option as even though there were table and chairs, there wasn't any umbrellas or any kind of shade. The day we were there was quite sunny and warm, didn't feel like sweating and potentially getting sunburnt while eating. I came by for their cold pressed drinks only. It was very warm out and I was not hungry yet so drinks sounded like the perfect choice. They have a small shared parking lot and the restaurant is well lit and very clean. The woman assisting me was kind and helpful. If you wonder how long will it take to grab a coffee and go in a shop that's empty, you are in for a surprise. We ordered two latte with regular milk and have been waiting for more than 15 mins. When asked the Barista she said she is working on it. Asked what sweetener to be added and all. After a min she comes back and says we are running out of whole milk and the milk is on the way. When we asked for the refund, again made to wait another 10 mins for manager to come n refund the order. Now manager comes with the milk and processing the order! We came by on Memorial Day and although it was seriously loud inside the shop it was a pleasant dinning experience outside. I started with a Mimosa with the cold press juice called the Cure which consists of pineapple,apple and spinach...quite tasty. My daughter had the Superfruit smoothie and it was very flavorful with cold pressed apple juice. The PB Crunch was loaded with fresh fruit and the drizzle of honey made it perfect. The Cheese Italian had plenty of Prosciutto and yummy cheese on jalapeño toast for a touch of heat. I originally was going to come yesterday for their grand opening. But decided not to. Good thing as my friend waited TWO HOURS. At least she earned her $50 credit being the 1st 100 in line. Today the line wasn't bad at all, maybe just a 5 minutes wait. After briefly looking at the menu, it was a no brainer for me. Avocado Smash Toast for me and Purple Heart Smoothie. DD'S go to is Smoked Salmon and Blue Mystique. Hubs ordered the Tuscan Tuna and Cure juice (green). There was no more seating outside. Although the temps were a bit chill, we were dressed for the weather so it was nice to get some crisp fresh morning air, while people/ dog watching. People who passed could help but notice the toasts and comment. There was a short wait before drinks and toasts started coming out of the kitchen. The Cure was well balanced and refreshing. Reminded me of the green juice I make at home but sweeter. The Blue Mystique would have been my 2nd choice as it had all my favorite ingredients (pineapple, banana, mango). But I ordered the Purple Heart instead just to try a variety of drinks. The flavors of the PH were all muted with no distinct flavors. I wish there was a bit more of the acidity to bring out all the unique flavors. I liked the Blue Mystique, Cure, and Purple Heart (in this order) Vibrant ingredients, beautifully presented on each of the toasts placed on individual mini wood boards. My least favorite was the Smoked Salmon. The quality of salmon was lacking IIMHO. It was no soft and tender, and veins of the fish kept getting caught in my DD's teeth with each bite. The tug or war caused all the other iningredients to topple off the bread. My Avocado Smash was one of my favorites. Fresh, slightly steaky cherry tomatoes, red and yellow. The micro herbs, drizzle of oil, light sea salt culminating all the flavors together. I'm not sure if the watermelon relish really did anything to enhance the dish. I actually liked the pickled onions with the Avocado, that my DD gave me from her toast. Then there's the grilled then toasted Multigrain bread. YES! Yes! The flavors and the texture of the bread was spot on, even holding up, considering all the ingredients layers onto the bread. Kind of a bummer because it's also, like everything, not inexpensive. Also, I've had coffee there twice. The cappuccino was good, but the latte tasted like a cup of warm milk. I expected it to be way more for it being Danville but everything in here was fairly priced. My husband and I decided to try something we have never tried before and ordered their collagen lattes and were not fans unfortunately. They weren't bad just ok. I think it was not what we expected it would taste like so that may be our mistake. You can definitely taste the collagen in the drink which made it a little hard to drink. So if you aren't a fan of the taste maybe stick to your usual tea, coffee, or juice. There's a reason many places give you a number system, and it's clear this spot could use one. Plus, the lack of signage about cleaning up after yourself left dishes piling up on tables, and new people having to move others people's dishes to sit (employees did not move a single dish from a table but walked by). The big question is: is this a sit-down spot or a stand-up one? Açaí bowls get delivered to your table, but toast doesn't or does it?
