I've been here twice now. I really like their hot and iced vanilla lattes. Their food is just ok, which is why I didn't give 5 stars. I think next time I'll go to one of the other coffee shops if I want breakfast too. We got a breakfast burrito and a bagel. The breakfast burrito was pretty good. The eggs seem like those microwave kind based on the texture. The bagel looked like it came from a bag from the grocery store. I'll definitely be back when I need a quick coffee run. read more

Came once with my brother and there were a few cars ahead of us. Because this place is a little drive through coffee shop in the middle of a parking lot, I had to wait far behind or I'd block the entrance to parking. I made eye contact with the employee so they knew I was in line. 15 min go by and no cars have moved. Another car pulls up from the other side of the lot and gets in front of me (didn't make a fuss) and I waited a bit longer. Another 5 min go by, still no movement in line and at that point I gave up and left. I came back a second time to give it another try and luckily there was no line. I ordered a coconut latte, decaf, and it was just ok for me. There wasn't any wow factor for me that would make me want to come back. This cute little drive through is locally owned, and has yummy smoothies as well as coffee and breakfast items. We got a strawberry banana smoothie ($5 for 10oz is not a bad price and it was made with real fruit. They have 20oz smoothies that are super large for $10, perhaps too much for me. I got the 10oz Minted Iced Cold Brew; it was heavy on the ice so if I got it again I would ask for low ice. They also gave our dog a little milk bone treat! read more

My first visit today, ordered a vanilla latte and the avocado toast. It was excellent the coffee was the best I'd ever tasted and the smashed avocado toast was delicious. The avocado was spread on crispy toasted sourdough artisan bread with lime, cilantro and queso fresco cheese on top. Looking forward to stopping by again.....Highly recommend. read more

This place is good. This place is chill. It definitely does get popular and will impact your morning so definitely don't go with a rush. They're quick team of usually 2 to 4 will move and groove and personalize your drinks as well as care and it's pretty damn good quality for being a pop-up shop. I definitely remember the storefront so I'm glad they're still around. read more

These people are consistently a positive group to order from. I'm not a coffee drinker, but the chai's and smoothies are delicious. Today I opted to purchase the bacon avocado melt and it's really good! It comes on a thick rustic artisan type bread. Avocado, thick sliced tomatoes and country style bacon, with melty cheddar cheese. I was extremely impressed this came from a drive through coffee shop! Of course I had to pair it with an organic green power smoothie for a wholesome lunch. If you're used to only ordering coffee from this place, branch out a bit and try their food offerings. I didn't become a coffee drinker until after college, so I never visited this lil spot in front of CVS growing up. My brother and I finally decided to check it out on Sunday, and while it's not the same as grabbing Blue Bottle or Philz, it will get the job done. The service is friendly, and with Pete's and Starbucks in the adjacent plaza, I much rather support small biz. And best of all, you don't need to get out of your car! Lots of options including coffee/lattes, fruit and super smoothies, and a few breakfast items. A little pricey, but it's Alamo -- what can you expect? A convenient stop that doesn't require a trip on the freeway is a win for me in this area. I will say the minted iced cold brew was not worth the extra $$ though. I couldn't discern a true minty flavor, not sure what it was that I was detecting. Next time I'll have to try the regular cold brew. read more

What's better than quick service + really yummy coffee? This place have never missed for me. I wish I found it sooner. It would have saved me from being late to work on so many occasions. The staff is warm and friendly. Every visit, I'm greeted by a genuine smile, even on the rainiest days, they are still so happy to help. I love the fact that this place is a drive thru. It makes lazy people, like me, want to keep coming. And again, on a rainy day, it's so nice to not have to run in and out. Every drink I've tried so far is delicious. If I have a request, they make it just like I ask. The pastries are really yummy too. The blueberry muffin and morning bun are my faves. I love this place! My favorite local coffee place close to me-- I always make a point to come back here when I'm in the bay (a ritual of sorts haha). They used to have quite a few locations, including where sliver is in Danville now. I never leave a review, but the man at Coffee Shop Alamo did something SO NICE AND THOUGHTFUL this morning, that I had to publicly thank him - and I wish I got his name. First of all, I love this coffee (coconut orange latte!!!). I was so sad when the Lafayette location closed - but whenever I visit my relatives in Danville, I always swing by the Alamo location. This morning, I ordered, and the man at the shop noticed I had a brace on my wrist. He asked if I was ok. I told him I stupidly injured it (bowling incident), but I was fine. Then, suddenly, he appeared outside the kiosk with my order, so he could place it in my car, rather than handing it to me out the window. He rightly surmised that it would have hurt me to reach out and get the order, but I did not ask him to do this. He just took it upon himself to be kind. I almost cried with gratitude. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING SO THOUGHTFUL. I was already a fan, and now I'm going to make even more of an effort to stop by. read more

Sum it up: Great coffee and service with a smile. This is my favorite coffee shop, hands down! I think the worst thing I have ever encountered is long lines and that's because it's popular. It's in a weird spot in a parking lot so if more than four cars are waiting you have to park near it and they run out to take your order. Simple solution to a rare problem. My husband literally stops here every other day on the way to work. Coffee - I love the Lavender latte! It's perfect, simple and not too sweet which is hard to do. Other places make it so sweet it's painful but all the flavored lattes here are a delight. Food - They make the food pretty quickly considering how small the place is and sometimes they run out of things because of the size of the place but you can usually find something great! Service - The service (aside from the great coffee) is what keeps us coming back! The baristas are always smiling and happy, they crack jokes and make us feel welcome. I'm so happy I live close enough to pop over and grab a coffee when I need a pick me up. I'll be so happy when they are able to go back to their normal hours. read more

Probably the last time I come to this location. After they closed the Walnut Creek location I was craving one of Coffee Shop's lattes. I decided to order ahead at the Alamo location and unfortunately you STILL have to wait in the entire line of cars to pick up. There should be a walk up window to grab your drinks and go. That's literally the point of ordering ahead so I don't have to wait in the line. Sooooo pointless. read more

I finally made it to the drive thru. They have the same product and delectable pastries the other stores have. We had bought some of their Pop tarts and coffee on our way to the South Bay. Same friendly service and exact same Cafe Mocha I get from the other stores. Can't wait for the Veranda store to open in Concord. The other one in Danville down the street also is opening soon where the Craft Creamery used to be. read more

I've been stopping by on a pretty regular basis with my daughter on Saturday mornings, and on weekdays, after my Kung Fu class down the street. I'm always happy I did. The coffee is excellent - - I usually get a coffee with an added shot of espresso and a little bit of cream. Frequently I get a breakfast burrito, or a green smoothie. Everything is fresh, delicious, and made with care. The gentleman and the young women who work there are unfailingly kind and friendly; such genuine, engaged, lovely people. I've been coming to this location on my route to work, nearly every day, for six months. What makes this place stand apart from the Concord, WC, and Danville locations, is the Manager here. She goes out of her way to give amazing service, make people feel welcome, and build relationships with regulars.
