I recently visited the Peet's Coffee location in between work appointments, and I was truly impressed! While I often stop by with my laptop and use the restroom, the experience can sometimes feel a bit distant. However, Will, the barista, completely changed that perception. He went above and beyond to help me out--refilling my large water bottle and customizing my coffee with heavy cream to fit my low-carb diet--all with a warm smile and fantastic attitude. It was truly above expectations and made my visit memorable. read more

Owner's attention please. Coffee is constantly good. I come here once in a while and for the 1st time I am disappointed by the waitress Malissa. There was no one else in the room when I arrived. Melissa was helping another customer, and once she finished, a new customer walked in. She immediately greeted the new person and completely ignored me, as if I wasn't even there. I had to say, "I've been waiting to order," three times before she acknowledged me--still, there was no apology offered to me, only to the other customer. I truly don't want to jump to conclusions, but I can't help but notice the dynamic: I am an Asian woman, and the other customer was a white blonde woman. To better understand if this was an isolated incident or a pattern, I'll be asking several of my Asian friends to visit and observe. Any further action will depend on what they experience. read more

Simple and easy going, my first time having Peet's. Although, I did not actually get coffee but the sparkling passion fruit black tea. I liked it, tastes refreshing and was a vibe sipping it outside with lots of shade. The customer service is fast and friendly, nothing out of the ordinary. read more

I came her with a friend. The place is big and has plenty of seating. There's seating inside and outside. There's a parking lot so you don't have to search and search. The workers are nice. The employees are consistently friendly, helpful, and leave you wishing you could be a regular at their location. The folks at Peet's always are versed in their current offerings and can go into great depth about their beans too. All great things to appreciate! I stopped by this location before accompanying a friend at W's for hair coloring. I knew I wanted the plant-based breakfast sandwich but couldn't decide on the seasonal coffee drink. Connor was on shift and was super nice to offer some insight on what each of the three tasted like, and which one was his personal favorite. I landed on the Maple Latte with soy milk, which was really good. I just forgot to mention to use less syrup so the drink was ridiculously sweet for this black coffee-drinking gal, but that was my fault. Of course I didn't have my life together and my Peet's app didn't have enough balance loaded. Connor was super patient while I put more credit into the account to pay. Thankfully no one else was in at the time since this was the late afternoon, otherwise it might not have been so pleasant! You can pretty much count on me giving Peet's 5 stars wherever I go but I really wanted to hop on here to give a shout out to Connor who was extremely nice. Thanks! read more

I came here to pick up an order through the Too Good to Go app, to save a bag of whole bean coffee they would've otherwise thrown away. I came here at the pickup time (5:30pm) and the store had closed early for Christmas Eve at 4, but there were two staff members still hanging out in the back. Doors were locked so we tried to flag someone down to see if they could help. Staff was super rude and shooed us away from inside, rolling their eyes without even trying to approach us to see what we wanted. One of them finally came to the door to explain that there was a mistake and the app should not have let us order, and said that they were already doing us a favor by talking to us at all. Totally get that there could have been a mistake on the Too Good to Go side, but the attitude was so unnecessary. Overall terrible customer service experience and I won't be visiting this location in Alamo again. There are plenty of other coffee shops in the area with staff that aren't nearly as arrogant. The two girls at the register were talking inappropriately about the customers. Very unprofessional and unkind.

I came into peet's this morning feel down, and exhausted. Upon reaching the register I was greeted with two beautiful smiles. The two girls at the register were extremely kind, and even complimented my hair and earrings! They were quick, attentive, and all in all kind. They began to give me some good suggestions, I ended up going for the peppermint mocha! They told me about how they are bestfriends, and overall just gave very good energy. I could tell they were best friends by their mannerisms lol! The man who made my drink made me the best coffee of my life. I didn't catch his name but he had blond hair, on the top. For bicyclists, Alamo Peet's is a much more manageable location compared to the Danville location. I came by a few days ago and ordered coffee and a pastry. i noticed that had forgotten my CC and I didn't have enough cash for both. They graciously gave me the pastry on the house. Coffee is great- customer service this morning was from a gal clearly raised by wolves. I mobile ordered and she left out three parts: extra hot, extra shot and with whipped cream. I saw the no whip and told her I ordered it with. She said "There's a button to push if you want that included". I had my order open on my phone and told her I ordered it with. She said "ummmm- ok and took my coffee out if my hand, dumped 1/4 out and gave me lots of whipped cream...all the while fussing with long hair. Get your receipt if you buy beans. We bought a pound of the Ethiopian Super Natural- it definitely is not! Tastes more like Major Dickason's. We have bought Ethiopian Super Natural many times before and know these beans are definitely not. Their website says we could return the beans- but as I said we do not have receipt- emailed corporate office- nothing. Corporate did respond and got a pound sent to me- smells amazing. First of all, this Peets location is by far the most consistent in quality and service. Second, Connor is the king of coffee. He should be coaching every other location how to pull espresso and craft coffees that are delicious with every sip. Not only have they mastered the art of coffee here in Alamo they treat each customer like a friend and are always willing to help. This was our final coffee stop before heading back down to Los Angeles. I had their Havana Cappuccino (which has a bit of condensed milk) back in Sonoma, and I just had to have another one. So here we stopped to get our condensed milk coffee fix. This place was busy, but it was clean as well. The staff was friendly, and they were efficient in processing our orders. It looked like a good place to study or read a book in the afternoon. Not super quiet, but not too loud either. A great experience, I would repeat. read more

This is a fantastic coffee shop. All their COVID precautions are in place, including the removal of their patio seating. Peet's has some great holiday flavors -- I tried the iced holiday spice latte and loved it! Ordered a White Hot Chocolate here (yes one of my winter drink faves). It was creamy, rich and light. WAYY better than Starbucks. Everyone that works here is amazing especially Cassidy. Don't come in here and complain. If you go into this peets and get bothered over some COFFEE you need to leave. I've heard horror stories and witnessed so many of you horrible customers complaining over a few dollars or CENTS for extra add-ons for their coffee, being genuinely rude to the staff about timing when there are literal lines out the door, and if you are seriously that frugal or inconsiderate/selfish you don't need to be buying coffee at all. Go somewhere else with all that negativity. Just wanted to give the staff a huge thumbs up, and address all you people that go in there and give them a hard time on the daily! Came here for coffee and pastries with my boyfriend this morning. I ordered iced coffee and my boyfriend got a Havana cappuccino, except the cappuccino didn't have any espresso in it. When I went back up to the counter to ask the barista to add a shot, there wasn't really an apology and I got a hint of attitude even though I was asking for a basic and obvious correction. My iced coffee also tasted very watered down. I go to other Peet's locations frequently and have never had a bad experience until today. read more

I walked in paid for a small Capp and proceeded to see 5 or 6 online orders to made before my own. It seems like if you walk in you should not to fall behind multiple online orders especially when it is not busy inside. I was told I waited only 6 minutes but it just felt weird as a customer to be pushed behind multiple online orders. I was the first one in line of two people. One guy ahead of me had to wait a long time for a hot meal. He had already been given his coffee drink. He seemed discouraged as well. I thought I had been forgotten.
