To the Wonderful People at Nespresso, I am obsessed with the taste, ambiance in the store is top tier, however I would like to formally request that Nespresso machines be reclassified as medically necessary equipment for all new parents. As you may know, newborns operate on a highly sophisticated schedule consisting of eating every two hours, refusing to sleep when anyone else is asleep, and conducting random wellness checks to ensure their parents have not become too comfortable. This creates a serious public health concern: parental caffeine deficiency. While insurance companies are busy covering things like breast pumps and blood pressure monitors (both important, of course), they have somehow overlooked the single piece of equipment that keeps exhausted parents functioning as semi-competent adults: the Nespresso machine. I propose the following: * Every family leaving the hospital with a newborn should also receive a complimentary Nespresso machine. * Coffee pods should be covered for at least the first six months, with extensions available during sleep regressions, teething, and growth spurts. * Triple espresso capsules should require no prior authorization. If a parent says, "The baby was up all night," that should be sufficient documentation. Think of the benefits: * Fewer zombie-like parents wandering the grocery store. * Improved response times to crying babies. * A significant reduction in accidentally putting the milk in the pantry and the cereal in the refrigerator. * Happier parents, happier babies, and possibly happier spouses. While I understand that insurance companies may not yet recognize espresso as life-sustaining, I firmly believe science will eventually catch up to what every parent already knows: caffeine isn't a luxury--it's a survival strategy. Until then, I encourage Nespresso to lead the way by creating a "New Parent Survival Kit" that includes a machine, enough capsules to survive the fourth trimester, and perhaps a support group for those who accidentally brewed decaf during a 3 a.m. feeding. The employees here are all very friendly and knowledgeable of their product which greatly assists in making my choice of coffee purchases. The atmosphere is quite impressive as it is always clean and the coffee vibe definitely resonates when one walks in. They offer free coffee tasting of their available options at the time a customer arrives. Special notice to Jianna, Sabrina, and Sossi who I have the consistent pleasure of their customer service. These ladies are always very respectful and professional making my experience at Nespresso a pure delight. So I went to the Nespresso boutique because I bought a Vertuo Pop Nespresso and I wanted to go in to see all the different kinds of coffee pods that I could get. The people that worked there were nice so the service was great and the ambience was so cool because the place is cool. The reason I'm not giving it a great review is two-fold. One. I got the chocolate chip cookies and I guess I just didn't read it right but I kept saying how excited I was to try it that I love different flavors of coffee, but nobody seemed to tell me that I was not buying chocolate chip cookie coffee flavored pods but actually chocolate chip cookies! I would never have spent $10 on chocolate chip cookies as a baker, I don't do that plus, I was really disappointed when I got home and I opened it because I was ready to have a chocolate chip cookie flavored coffee pod so that really bummed me out and I just can't believe that not any of the three people that I spoke to listened to me closely enough to realize that I thought it was a drink!! That was a waste of $10. Second issue is that I had bought the coffee maker and it came with a $20 coupon towards buying a travel mug but they didn't honor that at the store so I had to pay full price now the good news is I actually went home and chatted with the Nespresso customer service and they gave me a $20 credit so I appreciated that but it just would've been nice to do it all in person get my mug with the discount because now really I have to spend money to get the $20 of credit but that's OK. I'll be buying a lot of pods. It is an absolutely beautiful store, but I'm still so annoyed that I wasn't getting a chocolate chip cookie coffee flavored pod. read more

I'm so glad there's a Nespresso boutique in Walnut Creek! Shopping online is definitely easy but I wish it was free shipping; esp for members. The store is clean, modern, and easy to browse. I like being able to see the different Nespresso machines, all the fun cups/ tumblers/ mugs, all the colorful pods and I really appreciate the complimentary coffee sample they sometimes have. I'm glad they always carry the seasonal and/or limited edition pods. I never came here for advice on a Nespresso machine because one was gifted to me, but I'm sure that's something the staff there can help with for a first time buyer. They also have a Nespresso cafe for you to order drinks. Hot or iced coffee and even matcha! I have been to the Nespresso Boutique twice in the past month. I was fortunate to have Christian assist me both times. (I waited until he was available the second time I went.) He is personable, extremely knowledgeable, kind, and has a delightfully dry sense of humor. My cousin, James was visiting from Australia on my first visit. When we left, he said, "Christian was great!" I bought more sleeves than I went in for on both occasions. (Thanks to Christian's suggestions and offering me/us cups of flavors I wouldn't otherwise think of purchasing.) Sadly, customer service has been on the decline. My friend and I came to drop off our used pods- I had a ton of them and was concerned about carrying them all. We were greeted immediately. The lovely team member was more than happy to follow us to our car with a dolly and huge boxes to take all the pods from my car. She then asked if we wanted to try any coffees. We tried 2 of the limited edition flavors- explaining the notes and what her favorite ways were to enjoy each We tried the tamarin one and the hibiscus one. The tamarin was our favorite- tasted like a red hot. She was so patient with us when I couldn't locate my car in the lot. Turns out we were on floor 2.5 not 3 where we went first, then 2- finally had to use my panic alarm to locate car We had a nice visit during our walk to the car- talking about descaling and how often we need to do it. Neither of our machines have indicated needing it yet- she assured us as long as the coffee tastes good we are good. Well since my Australia and New Zealand trip, I have been visiting this brand too often. Quality/Quantity - Got my daughter a "special" water bottle from Australia that is NOT sold in the US or even on Amazon. I stopped by to see what options they did have. Only one water bottle option. See pictures. Killing time while my daughter was working on her new iPhone at the Apple Store next door. The team offered me coffee samples. I ended up staying for half an hour sampling two different coffees. Way more comfortable than being at the Apple store staring at my daughter's phone and watch while it updates... Dropped off 2 ginormous Santa-sized bags of pods to recycle. The worker who greeted and assisted me was an absolute delight. They saw my immediate need, directed me to the right location, brought out a new box for me to fill, and helpfully offered new bags for future pods. This was my first time at the Walnut Creek location as I usually order online or go to the one in Roseville when I'm in the area. I walked in and wasn't greeted or acknowledged until after 5 mins of standing there. The employee that approached me was nice and informed me that there was a 20 min wait just to buy a couple of pods...? I'm sorry but I'm not going to sit and wait around just to purchase some pods. The Roseville location has self checkout where you just grab a bag and fill it up with your pods and quickly check out. Imo, I think all locations need to install self checkout so that people who are just wanting to purchase their usual pods can be in and out. It would be more efficient and there wouldn't be a long wait so that the employees can take their time to attend to others who are needing more help. It's a big store with all the coffees and all the Nespresso machines to look at and test. They served me a sample of coffee to see if I would like it. When you arrive, scan the QR code and you'll get a text when it's your turn to be helped - a good system! Rihanna helped us and she was knowledgeable, helpful and gave me good recommendations for which coffees to buy. Their system is good - you order and pay and then they bring your purchase out to you. Came by this store because I was in the area. I normally order my coffee through the app so I wanted to see if it was cheaper in store (it's not!) Service was awesome. I forgot the woman's name but she had an accent and was very insightful with helping me choose which coffee I should go with based on my current routine. The person who helped me was over selling a subscription after I told him that I enjoy coming into the store to pick out my coffee and declined the offer. He wouldn't stop telling me all the benefits of a subscription and all, ignoring my polite option to not participate. I left the store with 6 different flavors and a feeling of not wanting to return to this store. is nepresso's new business model to sell coffee subscription so the guy was just doing his job (very poorly). I was directed over to a bearded man with glasses and told him what I wanted. I told him that i was in a rush and didn't need to try anything but he kept trying to push the menu at me even after I told him my order. He acted dismissive when I again repeated what I wanted which felt super rude and pushy. I ended up leaving him just to ask for another person and then I went on with my day. I was here a few weeks ago looking to update my old Nespresso glassware. Although they did not have what I was looking for (mine are no longer available sadly) they did have a great selection of coffee and treats. I ended up buying iced coffee and chocolates, biscuits, and then 2 travel mugs that fit perfectly in my car cupholders. I didn't mean to spend so much time there, but you can purchase a coffee that is so much better than a competitor that everyone uses (hint hint). I got the Pistachio latte - mmmmmm. I have to find the Pistachio part to put in my Nespresso coffee. It was so great. Anyway, thank you to the store for its amazing selection and to the nice gentleman who helped with my purchase. Hilariously bad. I stood in line for nearly 10 minutes (behind 2 people) to get pods. After having my pod order mysteriously be in limbo for two days and taking 40 minutes with customer service to discover there was a stock issue. Anyway... Went here and had any number of employees wandering around, but seemingly unable to address the line that you have to stand in just to buy a $10 sleeve of pods. When I was finally helped by someone who seemed very uninterested in being there, I asked for my free sample pack and recycling bag. She said "oh those are usually Online. We don't always have them." I had to ask if they did have them that day, to which she said, yes. She went back to get my items, including the Free sample pack. When she returned, I asked where the recycling bag was. She looked at me blankly, then asked if I wanted one for the store or UPS. She then slowly walked over to another counter to get it. At this point, my daughter and I were both laughing because it was such a ridiculous experience. Needless to say, I will be ordering my pods online from a partner brand or going to my local Peet's. Such a bummer after investing in a Nespresso and being so excited to put it to work. Looked online to buy some pods and decided to make the trip to the Nespresso Boutique not having any real expectations. 20 minutes later left with more than I need espresso pods and a big smile on my face. I came in when they had just opened so there were no lines and I was greeted by Sossi who was extremely friendly and very helpful. She explained all of the different flavors and how she drinks them and offered a couple of samples. They consistently have promotions going on. I have stocked up for the next couple of months, but once I run low I will be coming back here for more! The store is very pretty inside. After much debating, I finally bought my first Nespresso last month! Rianna is an amazing sales associate who was so patient, kind, and helpful. She answered all my questions and provided pros and cons for each Nespresso machine, even giving me demos of the machine if they had it on the floor. She even brought me a coffee as a break during my shopping extravaganza, since I was there for over an hour and a half! I finally settled on the Pop+ machine and couldn't be happier.
