Not my favorite TP Tea location... though I adore their Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea, their new Yuzu menu (which I assume is seasonal) was not great. The yuzu overpowered the tea a lot personally. If you come here, I highly recommend the Velvet Lychee Milk Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, ANY Passion Fruit drink, and of course the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea. This shop is also very small with minimal seating and a couple outdoor tables. Parking is plentiful though!
I took my son here last Sunday as he has never been to the store, but have tried a drink previously that someone gifted him. He enjoyed the drink and finally had a chance to come to the store in person. He got the strawberry boba drink and really liked it. I got the taro latte, it was fine, but I think I like the iced version better. Overall, we would come back again. It's a cute store with some seating outside as well. It is located next to The Press cafe.
the BESTT TPT location :)) I love coming here for a sweet treat and will never get tired of their drinks. Pretty small, definitely not a sit down spot more of a grab and go. My favorite is the TGY family milk tea 80% sweetness as someone who usually keeps their drinks at normal sweetness. I would say the toppings make up for the 20% ! Parking is also pretty limited and the area can be a bit crowded at times. Overall would recommend 100%
Excited to try treasure taro milk tea ($6.75) which is a milk tea with taro and mango pudding. The drinks come default in 22oz sizes. Parking lot can get quite busy, so you maybe need to park further. The store is clean, a few tables and couple outside table. The tea was fragrant, love the fresh taro. The drink was delicious. Luckily there was only two people in line at the ordering at the kiosk, but were taking some time so I decided to order through snackpass. Service was somewhat slow. Unfortunately I should have waited at the kiosk since those orders came out quicker than the app order, waited about additional 10 minutes compared to the customers that ordered wt the kiosk.
I visited this TP Tea once about a couple months ago. Ordering was easy as you just use the kiosk which there was two in store. I ordered the Strawberry Milk Tea with boba. There's a bar table by the window with some seats. The wait was about 10 minutes before I received my drink. Not too bad. My drink was a nice strawberry flavor with a good balance of sweetness. It was a slushy texture, which I liked! The boba was bouncy and soft at the same time. I enjoyed my drink. I would definitely come here again the next time I'm in the area. :)
This TP Tea is located in a shopping center that's sort of on the outskirts of the more busier areas around Stoneridge in all directions. It's very much on a stretch of road that has quite a bit of traffic flowing through there at all times but most people who are coming here specifically for something wouldn't even give it a second thought. It is just a shopping center right before the Philz Coffee behind it down the road in this direction, so if you're at Philz, you've gone too far. Again, nestled in a somewhat quieter shopping center, albeit, filled with various eating options of its own, so certainly a few things in here that might be of interest to others. This TP Tea is similar to the other locations in which the main ordering system is directly through the kiosk that's to the right wall, while the waiting area is to the left side and perhaps outside for those who prefer outdoorsey wait. They appear to be staffed pretty well, as there were several people working the front area mixing drinks and so-on. Service here was mediocre at best. When we came in, nobody even greeted us, they just sort of stared for a second then went back to making their drinks, but I guess it's fine since all the ordering is done directly through the kiosks, and their menu are displayed on the monitors above the counter. Most of the counter space is just for drink orders, so this is just the employees main objectives most likely. When we came in they were already pretty busy too, with 4-5 people/groups ahead of us. We went out to walk around the area since the aforementioned 4-5 orders ahead of us anyways, so took a nice stroll to check out the shopping center and the next door one as well it's connected to that's slightly more different than this more eating spot center. It's a nice quiet area outside of the one BBQ joint we passed by since there was a game going on. All-in-all, the walk took about 9 minutes to go around and then back at the store. Once we got there though, it seems that our drinks still weren't quite ready, but everybody else ahead were gone so they did at least get through the queue before us. Waited about another minute before our drinks were finally ready. They didn't really say anything when we went to get the drinks, just stared at us, we looked at the receipt ourselves and took the drinks and left. Just a very odd service experience. However, the drinks we got were just fine and as good as any of the other TP Teas I've been to here, though, nice to know this one is here in our part of the East Bay since they're mostly in the South Bay and then certain parts of South SF teetering on Milbrae areas. Overall, a straight forward experience at this TP Tea, albeit, perhaps a bit slower, and service, well, who am I kidding, what service? The drinks were made well and tasted good, all that really matters in the end as the wait wasn't terrible at least.
Stumbled upon this tea place after visiting other merchants in the area. The line was long of people waiting for their drinks. You can order online or kiosk and I ordered via mobile. So many options to choose from and got a little overwhelmed. You can also choose level of sweetness which is a nice touch. Got the mango drink which was decent and would be open to try other things while in the area and will order ahead.
Boba The fruit tea was really good here! Fresh fruit was used in the tea. The fruit tea tasted good however the boba was just okay and there wasn't anything special about the boba that was used. However more than the milk tea the fruit tea was better here in my opinion! Ambiance There is a parking lot that is right in front in a shopping mall. There isn't too many spots to sit down in the store to drink but the workers were nice and made the boba pretty quickly!
High-quality, premium Taiwanese tea. They offer a wide variety of drinks, including fruit teas, cheese foam, milk teas, and matcha. Ordering is self-service through a kiosk even though they were out of some drinks and boba during my visit. I ordered the Velvet Osmanthus Fresh Milk Tea and really enjoyed it. It was rich yet light, with a fragrant floral note similar to jasmine, but more subtle and distinct. I'd definitely come back for this drink since it's quite unique.
When the milk tea craving hits, TP Tea is my go-to spot. You can collect and even gift points when you order through the Snackpass app. Those points add up fast and you can redeem them for a free drink (always a win). What I love most is that you can actually taste the tea itself in every drink. The faves: ~TGY Family Milk Tea for the best bang for your buck when it comes to toppings (coffee jelly, boba, pudding) ~Jasmine Green Milk Tea is the classic for when I can't decide what to get ~Treasure Taro Milk Tea with pudding because the fresh taro paste just slaps ~Strawberry Matcha Latte for when I'm feeling a little extra - it's pricey at around $7, but totally worth it I also really appreciate that you can customize the sweetness and ice level on all their drinks. The location's super convenient with plenty of parking, and there are a few small outdoor tables if you want to sip and chill for a bit. Service is fast and efficient, so even when it's busy, you're not waiting long.
This is our go to for their Milk teas. It's a staple to our diet and what a way to start our weekend "always". hahaha. Their ordering is simple. they have 2 kiosk type available infront lobby area and you can also order online prior to coming. They are quick to fulfill our orders even when there's a line out the door. This place specializes on quality of teas. It has strong and bold flavors. Their toppings taste are consistent. There are two kiosks you can order at, or you can order at the counter with a person. I ordered at the kiosk and chose the Strawberry Creme Brûlée Milk. I didn't have to wait too long for my drink. They texted me that my order was ready, and my order number was also announced. The drink was good! Loved the strawberry puree that was in it, and the creme brûlée on top of the drink! We were promptly greeted as we entered & we ordered on the kiosk. There was so much to choose from. I had a hard time deciding despite it being my 2nd time. I ended up getting 2 of their recommended drinks, Thai Tea Brûlée Tornado & Strawberry Milk Tea both at 50% sweetness & it tasted more like a 30% sweetness, but it was perfect, I wouldn't go any lower in sweetness. Thai Tea Brûlée Tornado was very well infused with Thai tea leaves making it a robust drink. The Strawberry milk tea had puréed strawberry Creating a quality drink with every sip. After lunch, I was craving for boba and found the place across the parking lot from my lunch place. Obviously this was my first visit and very curious. It's a Taiwanese based boba place. So i ordered the Taiwanese milk tea with little ice, sweetness and boba. It was made relatively quickly. Because of my specified levels, my drink was more on the bland so I will take responsibility for it. I will give it another opportunity and make more adventurous order. read more

Passion fruit is always good here. I like getting it less sweet. The tea jelly pretty much tastes like green tea. My sister got the matcha tornado half sweet. It's nicely balanced and not overly sweet. Just make sure you really mix it together before drinking. Inside is pretty small, not really a place to sit and hang. We always order ahead and it is always ready by the time we get there. If you go during their peak hours, parking can be scarce as the lot is small and has a lot of other businesses. read more

I walked in for a quick boba craving and heard of this place because of their SoCal location. First thing I noticed was their lack of AC. It was pretty hot inside, so I decided to hang outside in the summer heat because it was significantly cooler than inside. They have a wide variety of drinks, which I appreciate. However, when I got my drinks I was surprised! I got the Strawberry Milk Tea & Strawberry Matcha with boba. The Strawberry Milk Tea was frozen like a slushy? It was also kinda brown in color which is interesting. You can't taste the strawberry at all - only ice and milk. I think they should specify in the name that it's a blended drink because I did not realize. The Strawberry Matcha wasn't too bad. It was enjoyable but I was caught off guard by the boba size. It was smaller than regular boba but bigger than mini. Tasted good though! Just strange sizing. I will say, their service was very quick to deliver drinks and it's reasonably priced for the area. I'm hoping it was just a fluke for this visit, as I know their SoCal location is pretty good. read more

This was my first time visiting, and I ordered their signature TGY tea with boba. I really love the boba pearls which are perfectly cooked. The tea is quite fragrant, but I found that it had a bit too much milk, which overpowered the flavor of the tea. I went in at 3:30 PM on a Tuesday, and there was no line. The service was quick. I will definitely come back to try other drinks. read more

I've been here several times now. I really like the drinks and boba here. This boba shop is located in a quaint and quiet plaza. The shop itself is on the smaller side but there are some tables and chairs, indoors and outdoors. When I came here yesterday, I ordered a Taro Matcha Latte. I loved my drink. I could definitely taste the matcha as it was strong and tasted like high quality. I got my drink at 30% sweetness, and it was perfect. I've gotten the Mango Matcha Latte in the past, and that one was really good too. Definitely recommend their matcha drinks. It took some time for our drinks to come out yesterday. I think that was because a party ahead of us ordered quite a good amount of drinks. We didn't mind the wait though. The staff was friendly and nice. read more
I was very happy with my Fantastic Fruit Tea with zero sugar. It has a great consistency and nice, natural flavors. I think some Chia seeds were sprinkled in as well. I also ordered with light ice and there was still a half cup of ice so if you order with full ice, you might get very little drink. Overall a five star. read more

I've been coming here since the beginning of 2023. Pricing are fair. Services are great. Store looks lovely and clean. Online ordering is amazing and catering is on another level. Carol has recommended me top drinks that will fit within any event. I recommend coming here to TP Tea Pleasanton for any Boba catering services and ask for Carol. She is sweet and very warm welcoming person. I would definitely come back again for all my future catering events. read more

I didn't realize how small this location is. Just a couple bistro tables outside and a couple inside. not very inviting to stay a while. it's more of a to-go spot. No games either. Another hint they don't want you to stay. My green tea w/cheese foam 80% sweet wasn't that great. It tasted like they forgot the sweetener completely. The tea was very bitter at the bottom. I was keeping an eye on the table situation b/c we were going to be 3 people and was able to snag a table. They wouldn't let use the restroom even though we were paying customers. The girl kept repeating, "no public restrooms". Um...okay but we're customers and just bought 3 drinks. She kept repeating, "no public restrooms." Perhaps they don't know what that truly means b/c that's for non-paying customers. Another sign that they don't want you to hang around. She directed us to go to the "taco spot" in the area. We walked around until we found it. Overall, I wouldn't return on my own if I'm planning to hang out with friends or family. There are plenty of other boba spots in the area, with restrooms, ample seating, and games. read more
I got the Thai tea tornado and thought it was ok, nothing too special. It wasn't super sweet which I appreciated. They also don't have too too much seating so it's more of a grab and go than a good place to sit down and do work at. read more

TP Tea offer some hard tonfind tea combinations that set them apart from the usual spots. My absolute favorite is the Four Season Osmanthus Milk Tea. It's so refreshing and has a delicate, light osmanthus flavor. I highly recommend trying this place if you're looking for something unique and delicious! Will definitely be coming back for more! read more
My daughter said her friend rated this higher than Boba Bliss so we decided to try it. The tea drink is good, you can even smell the fragrance of tea leaves once you walk into the store. However, my husband and I usually get the ube/taro milk and this one here is disappointing. Tasted like milk and taro separately. The boba is also a little undercooked. read more

Walking into the shop, the smell of aromatic tea hits you in the face in a pleasant way. The kiosk was the 1st thing I saw, and it took a while to order. The drinks that can be adjusted, I changed it to 80% or 50% sugar based on other tea shops and I noticed I didn't need to change it because they are much lighter with sugar their sugar level. There's also many different options of tea/drinks to try which I really liked. read more

I went on a Sunday afternoon and there were a couple people hanging around the area, but the line was short. The service is fast! I ordered through the kiosk and customized my drink accordingly. First boba review of 2023 and it goes to ::drumroll:: TP Tea! Well duh cause you're reading this on the TP Tea site. My friend told me TP Tea had opened in Pleasanton and I had to wait until my usual boba Tuesdays to try it out and today was the first of them. In short, although the drink felt less creamy than other boba shops and their boba not the standard large size, the tea is definitely higher in quality and you can taste it and the caffeine (I'm sensitive to caffeine). The boba was just okay wish it was a tad bit sweeter, but I ain't mad at this spot just wish it wasn't so deep in Pleasanton. L O C A T I O N TP Tea is in Mission Plaza relatively near The Press Cafe. It's next to QBeauty's Lounge. Parking can be a little tough as there's limited spots shared by all the businesses and also note some spots are specifically for a business. I N S I D E Basically just the ordering areas and a few chairs alongside the store front. Not a large space so expect to order and go. M E N U I wonder if they have an extended menu because I feel like what's shown on the screens is not everything. I just checked their Doordash and for sure there are more drinks on their menu that's not shown: https://www.doordash.com/store/tp-tea-pleasanton-24569655/. Now why are the milk tea drinks more expensive than the tea lattes, I'm a bit unsure. If I knew they had standard milk teas, I would've tried that instead. Anyway, I digress. They have you standard teas: a black, green and well not so standard Tieguanyin (Iron Goddess) oolong. They also have fruit teas, cheese foam, matcha, smoothies, and seasonal special drinks. To see how to order/customize your drink, the sign is actually on the left most poster on the left wall. Unfortunately when I was there I didn't notice until after I saw my photos that this is the only spot that you can see sugar levels, ice levels, and topping options. I forgot that they had qq noodle as an option. Toppings cost $0.65 or $0.75 depending on the type you choose. There's also options to add creama for $1.25 and $1 for oat milk and taro paste. I got the Signature Black Tea Latte with no sugar and no ice plus boba as a topping. I would say the drink itself is not bad considering it felt more liquid and less creamy than I'd prefer. The tea is strong and I'm feeling the buzz. For me, it's the perfect "none" sweet tea though I wish the boba actually was a tad bit sweeter. It's definitely on the hint of sweetness side. The size of the boba is a little smaller than your normal boba. I call this the medium sized boba but it's not as bad as another boba spot that I've had this sized from. The cook was a little uneven. They also say that with no ice there's a little space, but I didn't feel like there was a space at all. I guess the "foam" filled the space to make it look full but I did appreciate the notice for customers. S E R V I C E There was only one person ahead of me. So really it was relatively quick. Also only Credit/Debit Card accepted. No Cash. If there's a long line, consider the two other self-order kiosks to order. One is right next to the cashier and the other inside in the back front corner next to the poster on how to order your drink. O V E R A L L I wish the full menu was on the screen. If I knew they sold normal milk tea, I would've just tried that first. Perhaps that would be more creamier than the fresh milk lattes. Regardless, the tea flavor is present and strong. Boba could be cooked a little more consistently and a little more sweeter. But considering all things, it's not a shabby option, but why is so deep in Pleasanton and not closer to a freeway! Oh well. It'll be one of those side trips once in a while. Looking forward to trying more of their drinks! read more
TP (Taiwan Professional) Tea opened recently vacated Lily's Bakery space. next to The Press. small interior limited to minimal decor and ordering counter. a few teak chairs outside. offerings: recommendations, tea latte, kyoto uji matcha, milk tea, original tea.... order by kiosk or at counter. drink: thai tea brulee tornado, (6.5) 30% sugar, normal ice. -thai tea brulee is a cosmetic allusion, vague taste, brulee is bland creaminess -piece de resistance is crushed ice which sends a chill down ur windpipe and golden syrup sugar which adds sweetness without being a sugar bomb. *golden sugar made from treating sugar solution with acid or refining sugar cane or sugar beet juice into sugar. 3.5 stars innovative menu, wasn't wowed. with add ons, substitutions make drinks pricey. drips: -cashless, credit cards accepted.... -quick, courteous service, decor limited to menu, Xmas tree. -plenty of parking in lot -just chairs outside for seating. read more
Finally had a chance to try this place. It was very busy on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30. WIth so many people inside, at first I didn't even see the kiosk in the corner. There was another kiosk right next to the cashier... so do I order from the kiosk or the cashier? Okay, I guess either one is fine. Just a minor confusion... The place looked nice, and the menu had many fancy looking drinks including mango milk teas, taro milk teas and Thai teas. I wanted to judge their drinks from a simple drink so I chose the premium jasmine green milk tea. It took a good 10 minutes for my drink to come out, but not a surprise given it was so crowded. I must say - the drink was average. It wasn't bad, but it certainly was forgettable. Maybe I should try a fancier drink, but if they can't knock it out of the park with a simple drink, I'm doubtful on their fancy drinks. Maybe it was an off day? Alright, I may give them another chance and try one of their top recommended drinks. read more

Visited from Fremont yesterday, on a sunny and busy Saturday noon. There is a parking lot but the spots are limited, and I had to drive around a few times to wait to take someone's spot. In the store, there are 2 kiosks you can order from. There's also the option of ordering on the Snackpass app beforehand to pickup as well - I will do that next time as I ended up waiting about 10 minutes for my drink lol. I normally get the original black milk tea, but since it was warmer I got the black tea (no milk) with boba and coffee jelly, 30% sweet with original ice. The black tea is not as clear like other stores (ex. Yifang, T4), and had a bitter after taste. However, this was my first time trying their black tea and I do love their black milk tea so this doesn't affect how much I like TP Tea. Will come again when I'm in the neighborhood! read more
