Really wonderful tea. The flavor of the tea truly comes out in each cup and the recipes for the non tea drinks are excellent as well! Jasmine milk tea- ordered with the fresh taro $1 (super great! Smeared on bottom and on the sides, small chunks) with cubed boba (see through, good boba) ~$9 total 7/5 Strawberry milk tea- wow. Even this was outstandingly delicious. Some puree, used some real strawberries. Through the milk and strawberry the tea flavor came through delightfully. Aiyu jelly - a little tough tangy jelly. 7/5 ~$9 Mango passion smoothie - you can choose with tea or without. We chose without for the little one, but it was amazing also! Well balanced not too sweet. Real fruit used. 7/5 Ordered in a kiosk, very busy 2 staff at closing time. Hard to talk to them, but they made some dang good drinks, so who cares?! lol. Small sipping area, maybe 8-12 chairs, loud non offensive music. Cute set up.
Great beverage options! Went to grab a pizza across the way and saw this place - glad I stopped in! Got the Strawberry smoothie (no caffeine) and it was refreshing. Was happy they had no caffeine options! But be careful with the sugar... you can order by percentage from 0-100%. Staff were all super cool... they were kind enough to let me know they have a shop in SJ (where I live) :) It is a small place.. so take out is probably the best option. And parking was easy.... Although it was late in the day and most of the other places were closed. Would I go back? Yes! Especially on a hot day!
I rated you 5 stars before and believe me when I say you're still my favorite Boba Tea place in the Trivalley area. Today, I will be very honest. The last 3 times we were there, I feel the people making the drinks are not putting enough effort as before. I'm not sure if you made a slight adjustment to your tie guan tea and Taiwanese milk teas. The tea is not as bold as before and topping are hardly any. My whole family go there twice a week and we know the difference when there's a slight change in our favorite drinks. So, I'm afraid you lost a couple customers due to that. I personally would still go back, but I can't get 2 others to go with me. Before you guys lose more followers, you might want to look into changing it back to old ways. Afterall, I want you guys to thrive. So, hopefully this review will help you guys enhance & attract more customers. Thanks for the consideration.
Came here on a Wednesday afternoon. There were some people waiting for their orders outside. They had a promotion on the sesame drinks. It was BOGO. I didn't like how we had to order both drinks the same. But glad that they let me have one with oatmilk and one regular milk. They asked us for our sugar level but didn't asked for the ice. I wish I could get less ice . The taste was good . But just too much ice for me. I will remember to change the ice level next time. Also the straw was too short for the cup . My lips got cut by the lid a few times. That needs to change.
I think there's more quality boba shops than TP Tea, but admittedly this is one of the better places in the area! I have felt this way about their locations in Cupertino and Milpitas as well. Overall, solid place to get drinks but nothing to write home about. Parking is also a pain in the butt at times in this plaza. Personally, I also feel indifferent towards their TGY milk tea and strawberry milk tea, which I know are touted as their best drinks. I have tried these various times but it just hasn't grown on me. I enjoy the fruit, non milky teas here much more! RECS: + Passionfruit green tea ($6.75) is perfectly tart! + Lychee fruit tea ($6.95) is light and subtle, very refreshing. The lychee "cubes" are interesting because they resemble boba more than anything lychee-like
Not my favorite TP Tea location... though I adore their Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea, their new Yuzu menu (which I assume is seasonal) was not great. The yuzu overpowered the tea a lot personally. If you come here, I highly recommend the Velvet Lychee Milk Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, ANY Passion Fruit drink, and of course the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea. This shop is also very small with minimal seating and a couple outdoor tables. Parking is plentiful though!
I took my son here last Sunday as he has never been to the store, but have tried a drink previously that someone gifted him. He enjoyed the drink and finally had a chance to come to the store in person. He got the strawberry boba drink and really liked it. I got the taro latte, it was fine, but I think I like the iced version better. Overall, we would come back again. It's a cute store with some seating outside as well. It is located next to The Press cafe.
I visited this TP Tea once about a couple months ago. Ordering was easy as you just use the kiosk which there was two in store. I ordered the Strawberry Milk Tea with boba. There's a bar table by the window with some seats. The wait was about 10 minutes before I received my drink. Not too bad. My drink was a nice strawberry flavor with a good balance of sweetness. It was a slushy texture, which I liked! The boba was bouncy and soft at the same time. I enjoyed my drink. I would definitely come here again the next time I'm in the area. :)
Excited to try treasure taro milk tea ($6.75) which is a milk tea with taro and mango pudding. The drinks come default in 22oz sizes. Parking lot can get quite busy, so you maybe need to park further. The store is clean, a few tables and couple outside table. The tea was fragrant, love the fresh taro. The drink was delicious. Luckily there was only two people in line at the ordering at the kiosk, but were taking some time so I decided to order through snackpass. Service was somewhat slow. Unfortunately I should have waited at the kiosk since those orders came out quicker than the app order, waited about additional 10 minutes compared to the customers that ordered wt the kiosk.
This TP Tea is located in a shopping center that's sort of on the outskirts of the more busier areas around Stoneridge in all directions. It's very much on a stretch of road that has quite a bit of traffic flowing through there at all times but most people who are coming here specifically for something wouldn't even give it a second thought. It is just a shopping center right before the Philz Coffee behind it down the road in this direction, so if you're at Philz, you've gone too far. Again, nestled in a somewhat quieter shopping center, albeit, filled with various eating options of its own, so certainly a few things in here that might be of interest to others. This TP Tea is similar to the other locations in which the main ordering system is directly through the kiosk that's to the right wall, while the waiting area is to the left side and perhaps outside for those who prefer outdoorsey wait. They appear to be staffed pretty well, as there were several people working the front area mixing drinks and so-on. Service here was mediocre at best. When we came in, nobody even greeted us, they just sort of stared for a second then went back to making their drinks, but I guess it's fine since all the ordering is done directly through the kiosks, and their menu are displayed on the monitors above the counter. Most of the counter space is just for drink orders, so this is just the employees main objectives most likely. When we came in they were already pretty busy too, with 4-5 people/groups ahead of us. We went out to walk around the area since the aforementioned 4-5 orders ahead of us anyways, so took a nice stroll to check out the shopping center and the next door one as well it's connected to that's slightly more different than this more eating spot center. It's a nice quiet area outside of the one BBQ joint we passed by since there was a game going on. All-in-all, the walk took about 9 minutes to go around and then back at the store. Once we got there though, it seems that our drinks still weren't quite ready, but everybody else ahead were gone so they did at least get through the queue before us. Waited about another minute before our drinks were finally ready. They didn't really say anything when we went to get the drinks, just stared at us, we looked at the receipt ourselves and took the drinks and left. Just a very odd service experience. However, the drinks we got were just fine and as good as any of the other TP Teas I've been to here, though, nice to know this one is here in our part of the East Bay since they're mostly in the South Bay and then certain parts of South SF teetering on Milbrae areas. Overall, a straight forward experience at this TP Tea, albeit, perhaps a bit slower, and service, well, who am I kidding, what service? The drinks were made well and tasted good, all that really matters in the end as the wait wasn't terrible at least.
Stumbled upon this tea place after visiting other merchants in the area. The line was long of people waiting for their drinks. You can order online or kiosk and I ordered via mobile. So many options to choose from and got a little overwhelmed. You can also choose level of sweetness which is a nice touch. Got the mango drink which was decent and would be open to try other things while in the area and will order ahead.
Boba The fruit tea was really good here! Fresh fruit was used in the tea. The fruit tea tasted good however the boba was just okay and there wasn't anything special about the boba that was used. However more than the milk tea the fruit tea was better here in my opinion! Ambiance There is a parking lot that is right in front in a shopping mall. There isn't too many spots to sit down in the store to drink but the workers were nice and made the boba pretty quickly!
High-quality, premium Taiwanese tea. They offer a wide variety of drinks, including fruit teas, cheese foam, milk teas, and matcha. Ordering is self-service through a kiosk even though they were out of some drinks and boba during my visit. I ordered the Velvet Osmanthus Fresh Milk Tea and really enjoyed it. It was rich yet light, with a fragrant floral note similar to jasmine, but more subtle and distinct. I'd definitely come back for this drink since it's quite unique.
Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the high-quality tea, wide drink variety, and efficient service.

First boba review of 2023 and it goes to ::drumroll:: TP Tea! Well duh cause you're reading this on the TP Tea site. My friend told me TP Tea had opened in Pleasanton and I had to wait until my usual boba Tuesdays to try it out and today was the first of them. In short, although the drink felt less creamy than other boba shops and their boba not the standard large size, the tea is definitely higher in quality and you can taste it and the caffeine (I'm sensitive to caffeine). The boba was just okay wish it was a tad bit sweeter, but I ain't mad at this spot just wish it wasn't so deep in Pleasanton. L O C A T I O N TP Tea is in Mission Plaza relatively near The Press Cafe. It's next to QBeauty's Lounge. Parking can be a little tough as there's limited spots shared by all the businesses and also note some spots are specifically for a business. I N S I D E Basically just the ordering areas and a few chairs alongside the store front. Not a large space so expect to order and go. M E N U I wonder if they have an extended menu because I feel like what's shown on the screens is not everything. I just checked their Doordash and for sure there are more drinks on their menu that's not shown: https://www.doordash.com/store/tp-tea-pleasanton-24569655/. Now why are the milk tea drinks more expensive than the tea lattes, I'm a bit unsure. If I knew they had standard milk teas, I would've tried that instead. Anyway, I digress. They have you standard teas: a black, green and well not so standard Tieguanyin (Iron Goddess) oolong. They also have fruit teas, cheese foam, matcha, smoothies, and seasonal special drinks. To see how to order/customize your drink, the sign is actually on the left most poster on the left wall. Unfortunately when I was there I didn't notice until after I saw my photos that this is the only spot that you can see sugar levels, ice levels, and topping options. I forgot that they had qq noodle as an option. Toppings cost $0.65 or $0.75 depending on the type you choose. There's also options to add creama for $1.25 and $1 for oat milk and taro paste. I got the Signature Black Tea Latte with no sugar and no ice plus boba as a topping. I would say the drink itself is not bad considering it felt more liquid and less creamy than I'd prefer. The tea is strong and I'm feeling the buzz. For me, it's the perfect "none" sweet tea though I wish the boba actually was a tad bit sweeter. It's definitely on the hint of sweetness side. The size of the boba is a little smaller than your normal boba. I call this the medium sized boba but it's not as bad as another boba spot that I've had this sized from. The cook was a little uneven. They also say that with no ice there's a little space, but I didn't feel like there was a space at all. I guess the "foam" filled the space to make it look full but I did appreciate the notice for customers. S E R V I C E There was only one person ahead of me. So really it was relatively quick. Also only Credit/Debit Card accepted. No Cash. If there's a long line, consider the two other self-order kiosks to order. One is right next to the cashier and the other inside in the back front corner next to the poster on how to order your drink. O V E R A L L I wish the full menu was on the screen. If I knew they sold normal milk tea, I would've just tried that first. Perhaps that would be more creamier than the fresh milk lattes. Regardless, the tea flavor is present and strong. Boba could be cooked a little more consistently and a little more sweeter. But considering all things, it's not a shabby option, but why is so deep in Pleasanton and not closer to a freeway! Oh well. It'll be one of those side trips once in a while. Looking forward to trying more of their drinks! read more
TP (Taiwan Professional) Tea opened recently vacated Lily's Bakery space. next to The Press. small interior limited to minimal decor and ordering counter. a few teak chairs outside. offerings: recommendations, tea latte, kyoto uji matcha, milk tea, original tea.... order by kiosk or at counter. drink: thai tea brulee tornado, (6.5) 30% sugar, normal ice. -thai tea brulee is a cosmetic allusion, vague taste, brulee is bland creaminess -piece de resistance is crushed ice which sends a chill down ur windpipe and golden syrup sugar which adds sweetness without being a sugar bomb. *golden sugar made from treating sugar solution with acid or refining sugar cane or sugar beet juice into sugar. 3.5 stars innovative menu, wasn't wowed. with add ons, substitutions make drinks pricey. drips: -cashless, credit cards accepted.... -quick, courteous service, decor limited to menu, Xmas tree. -plenty of parking in lot -just chairs outside for seating. read more
The cup size is big in my opinion and price is fair. Drink was fresh and had enough choices for me to come again to try the rest of the menu. Staff was professional and welcoming. Place is clean and tidy. There is no restroom or seating. Go support this local business. read more
Finally had a chance to try this place. It was very busy on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30. WIth so many people inside, at first I didn't even see the kiosk in the corner. There was another kiosk right next to the cashier... so do I order from the kiosk or the cashier? Okay, I guess either one is fine. Just a minor confusion... The place looked nice, and the menu had many fancy looking drinks including mango milk teas, taro milk teas and Thai teas. I wanted to judge their drinks from a simple drink so I chose the premium jasmine green milk tea. It took a good 10 minutes for my drink to come out, but not a surprise given it was so crowded. I must say - the drink was average. It wasn't bad, but it certainly was forgettable. Maybe I should try a fancier drink, but if they can't knock it out of the park with a simple drink, I'm doubtful on their fancy drinks. Maybe it was an off day? Alright, I may give them another chance and try one of their top recommended drinks. read more
Visited from Fremont yesterday, on a sunny and busy Saturday noon. There is a parking lot but the spots are limited, and I had to drive around a few times to wait to take someone's spot. In the store, there are 2 kiosks you can order from. There's also the option of ordering on the Snackpass app beforehand to pickup as well - I will do that next time as I ended up waiting about 10 minutes for my drink lol. I normally get the original black milk tea, but since it was warmer I got the black tea (no milk) with boba and coffee jelly, 30% sweet with original ice. The black tea is not as clear like other stores (ex. Yifang, T4), and had a bitter after taste. However, this was my first time trying their black tea and I do love their black milk tea so this doesn't affect how much I like TP Tea. Will come again when I'm in the neighborhood! read more
I ordered a premium jasmine green tea latte with QQ noodles as a topping through the snack pass app. I had it with no sugar and no ice. The drink was really cold and the topping was a little hard. Overall, the drink was ok. I prefer the TP tea from Cupertino. Their drink never disappoints me. But I will definitely come back and try other drinks again. This shop location is right beside The Press restaurant. Here always plenty of parking lots. read more
A TP Tea in Pleasanton!!! I feel so proud, we made it y'all. But also, too easy to grab a drink whenever I want... Winter Melon Tea Latte ($5.99): Gosh I was already at the register and I panicked because I hate keeping people waiting and so! Got the drink without adjustments and without adding boba, facepalm. I would probably get 80% sugar next time, but still great flavor. All drinks do not come with toppings unless mentioned in the drink name. Boba Mango Milk Tea ($6.50): This was kind of a smoothie concoction with real mango bits blended in, and I thought it was a little iced down (like watered down yknow?). It had the fresh mango flavor but I wish it was stronger. The boba was good though! They just opened the week of 11/21/2022, and it looked like all the employees are trying their best. I saw at least 4 people coming in and out of the kitchen, so I'm guessing they're still training. It's already a small space, so it might be tough to get indoor seating. Regardless, I will be back for one of the matcha lattes and taro drinks! read more

Went to their grand opening the week of Thanksgiving. Hours are from 11am to 6pm. Not sure if the hours are updated. So glad TP opened in the east bay, since the only bomb boba spot is Boba Bliss. The difference with TP is that I love that their tea drinks is stronger than Boba Bliss and they don't use much milk. Also they have much more drink options. Gotta say their boba is on point and it's not brown sugar boba. Gonna be going back very often! read more

TP Tea has arrived in Pleasanton! It's located right next to the familiar The Press Cafe. I've always really enjoyed the flavor of their tea from my visits to their location in Cupertino, so hearing that they've opened in a city close to me was exciting! The space is cute and quaint. They have two kiosks that you can order from yourself, or you can go to the cashier to take your order there too. I really appreciated how they had large posters and visuals of their drink selections and their recommendations - this made it much easier for me to choose a drink. I ordered the Strawberry Milk Tea with Crystal Boba. As a note - they are very with the boba they give you here! Their tea is fragrant and I enjoyed the strawberry milk tea very much. At 100% sweetness, it was at the perfect level for me to enjoy. A note however, I expected a more liquid-y consistency but this drink kind of reminded me as a slightly melted slushy instead since it was pretty icy. The staff are friendly and during the time I visited, it was super busy. If you order on the kiosks you get notified via text when your order is ready, but if you go through the cashier I didn't really hear them calling numbers out so I had to check in every now and then myself which was a small downside. read more

Great milk tea like all the other TP Tea. There was a self ordering kiosk in the front and the wait time was pretty short. I found my new favorite in the Boba Fresh Milk Tornado. The boba was soft and chewy. Plenty sweet at 0% added sweetness. Definitely will be back for more. read more
I still like TP tea, but it hasn't been as good the last few times. The tea is way more weak, not sure what happened. The main reason I love TP tea is because the tea is very strong and flavorful. Now things are way more milky and it even tastes more sugary. A little sad tbh. Not so much 1st place at this point. They are still good at getting drinks out quickly though. read more

So far, so good! Have been here twice and have enjoyed the drinks I've had so far: jasmine green tea with almond jelly and the family milk tea, which comes with coffee jelly, boba, and pudding. Surprised the family milk tea is not listed as one of their Top 20, since I thoroughly enjoyed it. It reminded me of the Sharetea's QQ Happy family milk tea. Boba was nice and chewy. and the flavor of the tea is apparent. Customer service has always been proactive asking if I need any help or clarifications on the drinks. Excited to try their other drinks. The Thai Tea Brulee Tornado (contains cream cheese) and Strawberry Milk Tea caught my eye. Will definitely be back! read more
There will never be too many TP Tea! I am so happy another location opened up in the Bay! I came here on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't super busy. There was 2 kiosks to order and only credit cards are accepted. I got the tieguanyin latte with boba and got my drink within 10 min. Some of the toppings were unavailable such as the clear noodles which I always get but unfortunately they were out when I was there. There's a big parking lot but it was almost full when I was there. I assume this place will be super busy during the weekend since it's right next to The Press. If you could, use Snackpass to order ahead and avoid the wait! read more

I have visited this boba shop a handful of times now and I am really glad they opened up here! I love their Tie Guan Yin tea and all of their drinks I've tried - fruity or not, have been delicious. The service has always been pretty quick and friendly and parking is easy outside. It's a smallish shop but there are a couple of tables inside if you want to sit down and drink your boba, but I've always personally picked it up to go. It's my go to boba shop when I'm in this area :) read more

Pros-- drinks are interesting, with the milky drinks being significantly tastier than the fruity drinks. Would definitely suggest their tornados, preferably at 50 percent sugar. There's two self check out kiosks. Cons-- no public restrooms or wifi, and tends to be on the louder side. Prices are a mid to higher end (6-8 dollars) ((Personal notes: got the fantastic fruit tea this round. 6/10. Wouldnt get again, just due to how weirdly sour and watery it is. Big fan of the basil though!)) read more

Saw this place on Yelp as a new hot spot so I decided to give it a try. Came on a weekday around 2 pm and it was empty. Got greeted right away and placed our orders. They don't accept cash so bring your credit/debit cards! Place is very clean and there's a few chairs for waiting. We ordered a Kyoto uji matcha latte with boba and mango matcha latte with boba (total was $15 with tips). It's a bit pricey for boba but I don't mind paying the price if it's good quality! Boba was nice and chewy and the matcha flavor was pretty strong. I ordered 30% sugar level and it's still a bit too sweet for me so I'll reduce the sugar % even more next time. Located next to The Press and has plenty of free parking spaces! read more
Cute little place located next to Press cafe in a strip plaza. The Thai tea was delicious and not too sweet, with a nice creamy swirl. There were a lot of nice drink options and I would like to come back and try more! The ube one sounded yummy as well, and was recommended by the working staff member. Staff was friendly, ordering was done through kiosk. Overly a pleasant experience with good quality products. read more

I wanted to try TP tea out here at this location because I've had it in Berkeley and it was bomb. It's a pretty small store there's some seating inside and out, it was super hot there wasn't any AC as the doors were wide open in the summer heat. I only sat inside to wait because there would be no way I am surviving the heat from inside. The service is good you can order at kiosk or from the worker. I definitely want to come back and try the other drinks. The original milk tea is okay, I think it was alright but I know there are better drinks here that I haven't tried yet so I'll check in! read more

We've come to this place a thousand times, and it always delivers!! We prefer fruity drinks and less sweetness, and these are our favorites. Strawberry milk tea is THE BEST It has a nice slushy texture but not too icy. We like it 15% sugar (or 30% before they added the 15% option) - good combination of tea flavor and sweet and sour strawberry flavor. Pineapple ice tea with tea jelly at 30% is fruity and refreshing! I don't usually get pineapple drinks because they tend to be too sweet and taste artificial but not at this place. We enjoy this drink a lot :) Emerald lemon aiyu green tea at 30% is something new that we tried this time. Very refreshing and on the more sour side (would prob get 50% next time) but def a good choice for the summer! Will come back every time we are around the area read more

Came here on a whim yesterday. We were in the area and decided to get some boba. Tbh, I was entirely sure what to get but walked in anyway. It was a Saturday at 5pm and there was no one there. I was greeted by a couple of workers and then I proceeded to search through the self-ordering kiosk. I wasn't sure what I wanted but when I saw the milk tea with QQ noodle, I was intrigued. I asked the person behind the counter what QQ noodles were and she said it's their signature topping and offered me a sample. That caught me by surprise and of course agreed. It was basically like boba but clear and in a noodle form. I was sold. Ended up ordering the Taiwan classic milk tea which came with boba, QQ noodle and jelly at half sweet. The wait wasn't very long. The drink was actually sweet, really didn't expect that since I ordered it half sweet. The boba was nice and chewy, the noodles were interesting. I know I tasted it but, having it in my drink seemed different. Felt like worms in my mouth but tasted like boba hahah I think I'd try something else next time and probably order it at 25% sweet, since half sweet was still too sweet for my preference. But I would come back. They have a pretty extensive drink menu and nice customer service! read more

I've always wanted to try Thai franchise but there isn't a location near me. Since hubby was heading to Pleasanton, I had him drop by here to get us some drinks. We ordered milk tea, Thai milk tea and winter melon tea latte (all with boba). The tea flavors in the drinks were quite pronounced but the winter melon flavor was lacking in the winter melon tea latte. As for the boba, it was chewy and sweet. read more
OMOMO DUPE??? Honestly, this place reminded me a lot of it! It's probably the closest alternative to Omomo I've came across in the Bay Area so far. The inside space was a little small with limited seating, so not the most ideal for larger groups. There are two kiosks that you can self-order, which accept card only. Otherwise, cute + clean interior and quick service. With inflation happening, it's shocking that boba drinks are now at least $6. Especially if you're a fast drinker and can finish an entire cup in under 5 minutes! $6 *POOF*, gone. But TP Tea really did the damn thing! I ordered the Thai Tea Brulee Tornado (100% sweet), one of their specialty drinks and was super impressed at how strong the thai tea flavor was. Typically with frappe-style milk teas, it often gets diluted by the ice and the tea flavor gets lost. This was delicious paired with the brulee swirl which added a rich, creaminess to the drink. It was a perfect sweet treat after our dinner. I was also intrigued by their matcha mango drink as well, which I'm definitely going to try next time! read more
