The wife went in and ordered for me (i.e., no ambiance notes this time). Iced latte was excellent: smooth, not bitter, creamy, strong, not watered down. Cost around $5 (Everything just seems more expensive these days, unfortunately- recently, i saw a gas station trying to charge $6.98(+9/10) for unleaded!). But this place was good! No coffee out is cost-effective, but the experience was still decent. I would go again if the desire for coffee is strong and I am in the area. Was in the area on a Sunday afternoon looking for an iced coffee and a light bite to take home. I was greeted a few times as I came in by the nice and attentive staff. Seems like a family run spot. Great quality coffee, great service, and unique drinks every month. I am a huge fan of their February special which is a shaken espresso with raspberry and mocha (I might be wrong on the mocha, I forgot), but it is seriously one of the best coffee's I've ever had and the owner's happily make it for me even when it's not February lol. All of the workers are friendly, and happy to be there. Just a great environment, my only complaint is I wish the interior was a little bigger so I could feel comfortable hanging out in there doing my homework or reading. Hola Yelpers- there is a summary at the bottom. I'm so happy because this is the spot I've been searching for. If you're also searching for it, just park in the hardware store parking lot. It's tucked back there. There is usually plenty of parking in this lot too, so no stress. There is an incredibly welcoming vibe, a sense of calm before caffeination, and staff that are willing to actually chat about the menu options. They've got a few places to chill inside, and also plenty of seating outside. I love that the tables are frequently wiped down. No dusty, sticky, little tiny bird turd smattered tables and chairs like at many places. The reason why this is the perfect little coffee date hideaway is because they have Delicious coffee, and actual food (freshly made sandwiches, wraps, breakfast burritos and many other temptations). I had a veggie wrap without the feta and it was delicious. Perfected with just enough hummus, so it wasn't sloppy. The food came out quickly, but not rushed. I had an iced pumpkin oat espresso yesterday, and today I went with an oat milk latte with the sugar free cinnamon brown sugar syrup. The icing on the cake (or foam on the latte) for me is that when I brought my four legged son, everyone was so sweet to him. I met the owner Ruth and had a really nice conversation with her. I think that I will need an extra shot of espresso, because my lattes didn't give me quite the energy buzz that I'm used to, but the flavor and creaminess were 10 out of 10. If you're not craving coffee they do have a refrigerator case with cold beverages as well. In Summary: I'm quite happy to ditch the coffee chains, and support this wonderful small business. Their prices are fair, their food and beverages are great, the service has been exceptional, and it's a great place to work, have a date, catch up, or even chill with a doggy outside. All around great place. Can't believe I live in Pleasanton and haven't been here before. It's a little hidden off of Main Street in downtown, in back of Workbench Hardware store parking lot. Great food, nice people, reasonable prices. Had their chorizo breakfast sandwich which was not super greasy like most places, but still tasted great. The place is clean and well-managed, and has a functional layout. They do not make you feel hurried in there, but relaxed.
