The latte was even better than what I usually get at Starbucks, and the coffee overall was excellent. The service is friendly and welcoming. My husband tried a Swedish cookie (we can't remember the exact name), and he really enjoyed it. The café itself is very cute, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The cafe is small with 4 little tables inside and two outdoor tables with umbrellas for shade. It is clean and orderly with quaint decor. There are delectable things to eat here and I wish that I came in hungry enough to try a sandwich, or the ham and cheese croissant. I got an Americano with whip cream and a macadamia chocolate chip cookie. The Americano was the best I've had this side of the Altamont! The cookie was amazing. Can a cookie have a crust? This cookie had the perfect crust, the interior of it had the right amount of softness, and it wasn't too sweet. The service was friendly and timely. Such a friendly place. They have great food, too! I am a fan of the chicken salad, but aI can honestly say everything I've had is good. This is a good place to satisfy your sweet tooth vLately I have been alternating between the princess cake and the chocolate raspberry torte. Both are yummy! I have come in here a few times and every time I've received excellent service and delicious drinks. My daughter loves the iced vanilla latte. I've had the espresso and drip coffee. Both very good. She always takes her time with making the drinks so they come out good and consistent. I love the extra effort of warming the half and half for the hot coffee. read more

I went to try this cafe this week and I would say I definitely recommend this cafe for anyone coming to tracy or all locals to come try this cafe. The service was really good, I got greeted very politely as soon as I opened the front doors. The staff were really nice and very patient with me, They did not rush me to order and told me to take how ever long I needed to take. The ambiance was really nice, there were nice art pictures on the walls. I really like their menu they had up. Very nice and simple. The drink I order was the matcha green tea frappe. The drink is very sweet and delightful. Definitely one of the better matcha drinks I have tried in the area. If you like sweet matcha like I do, definitely try this one for yourself. Needed to update my review since we've been back many times and usually get these two outstanding treats: *Macademia Nut & Chocolate Chip cookies* 10/10. They're not too sweet and just can't go wrong with macademia nuts! They're small, crispy, tasty, and not overwhelming like those ridiculous trendy cake-like, overly sweet cookies that are overhyped and overpriced. (Lol, guess I should Yelp that place). *Dutch Girls* 15/10. Love when they're freshly baked. They're perfectly flaky, crispy, and lightly sprinkled with sugar. Phew, I guess one way to tell that you're at a bakery is that the inside is a hot box! It felt like a sauna here lol I'm guessing from all of the ovens running? Anyway, the cakes that I tried here were amazing! The carrot cake was one of the best that I've had. Super moist and flavorful with all of the right spices. The cream cheese frosting had the perfect sweetness to it as well. The princess cake was pleasantly light and I was really surprised that the marzipan on top wasn't overly rich at all (usually I remove some of it when eating a princess cake because of how sweet it typically is). Definitely would consider getting a whole cake version of it for a celebration. The lemon bar was alright; had a little bit of a lemon dishwasher taste to it but nothing too bad. Wasn't the biggest fan of the cannoli here as I prefer cannoli fillings with much less sugar. Enjoyed the crunchy shell though. Lastly I tried the iced coffee. Taste wasn't anything to write home about but it was still pretty smooth. Was actually quite stronger than expected. Small bakery with a few tables for dining. We needed breakfast and coffee during our travels and found Euro Star Café near the freeway. We ordered brunch items including cappuccino, macchiato, green tea latte, ham & Swiss croissant, pastrami, macaron, mix berry smoothie, and mango smoothie. All the food and drinks were delicious and the low prices can't be beat. There is a small variety of things to eat from breakfast sandwiches to lunch sandwiches. They have smoothies, frappes, Italian sodas, and the typical café espresso drinks. Euro Star Café created a European atmosphere of calmness from the friendly workers to the beautiful paintings/pictures/video, to the pleasant music. I went in there for a white chocolate latte with oat milk. I asked the lady if it is fine I sit there and work on some homework. She said no because we need the tables for customers and it will be busy since it is Saturday. She then said do I still want to coffee and I said no. I left and said that was rude to her. It isn't like I was going to stay for five hours. I have sat at smaller coffee shops and they are all welcoming. This one even though there is a huge hype about it, made me feel unwelcomed. Small coffee shop in a strip mall in Tracy. Stopped by on our way to Tahoe. As the name suggests, the decor inside is very european. Lot of pictures on walls all around from Venice, Paris and Italy. Menu is very basic, with the usual coffee and tea choices. Baked goods were fresh and tasted good. We got the Dutch Girls, which was flaky sugar coated crackers. Worst service and disgusting metallic tasting coffee. No wonder this place looked dead. I don't think anybody goes here anymore. The cashier lady was rude when I was trying to order my coffee. And the lady who prepared my coffee barely added any oatmilk and when I asked her if I could get some splash of oatmilk in my coffee, she was trying to charge me additional $1.10. After going to Starbucks many time we thought we give this place a try ! Nice small shop didn't have waffles for breakfast only on Saturdays ? I ordered the chai tea And ordered a bagel with eggs, but didn't get the eggs so I ask them for it ! Came here to wait for some people to meet me. Got a mocha with almond milk and a turkey Flatbread. It was very delicious. They made the coffee extra hot for me. The Flatbread was warm while the veggies inside were nice, cold and crunchy. The turkey was good quality and there was a good amount. Oh my goodness. Everything we got here was perfection. I tried the green tea and chocolate macarons and they are so good. They have the perfect consistency of softness and crunch. My husband and I ordered the pastrami sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich, respectively. We did not know what to expect. Holy breadsticks!! The quality!! The flavors!! The genuine simplicity!! The chicken salad sandwich was something very unexpected. The bread they use has dried cranberries (?) And walnuts. It was lightly toasted and super soft. The chicken salad itself was delicious and decadent, the perfect pairing for an interesting bread. The pastrami sandwich had a ton of flavor that went well with each other. Their lattes and cappuccinos taste wonderful, and if you so choose you can pick one of the many flavor options. My husband loves cannolis and the first time we came here they were made fresh and he was in heaven. Their macarons are tasty as well, I've had raspberry and pistachio and have loved each flavor. My daughter loves the decorated sugar cookies. If you want more of a cafe feel vs. a chain coffee house this is definitely the place. There is some sitting room inside with two chair & table sets outside as well. The dessert case is usually well stocked. I have yet to try their smoothies or food -- I tend to come here for the coffee + sweets fix. I believe it's the owner that I've had the pleasure of seeing each time I've come in.
