Came during the week right before dinner time and it was a good call because shortly after they started to get quite busy. Staff was friendly. Music playing was on point. The whole vibe was chill. The hot pot was really good and we enjoyed the popcorn chicken. The pork belly wasnt anything special, the popcorn chicken alone had more flavor. This is my third time coming in to the gem. I ordered the popcorn chicken as an appetizer. It was crispy and tasty. I asked for the sweet spicy sauce and ranch for dipping. For my meal I ordered the Curry Ramen (not pictured, I forgot to take one as I was super hungry and excited!) My drink order was a passion fruit green tea and I added lychee jelly and boba. Ramen was a bit spicy as expected. If you don't eat spicy foods regularly I wouldn't recommend this for you. I added lemon to balance the spice a bit. But I would rate the dish 10/10. Just wish it was chicken for the protein instead of pork. But that's me just being picky. The drink was refreshing and boba was a little hard (not so fresh) but still good The young woman that served me was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Only negative for me would be that I had signed up for their rewards type program with my phone number during one of my last visits. And recently I received a text saying "We miss you here at Cafe Dazzling! You get 1 FREE ICE TEA W/ HOT SOUP PURCHASE on your next visit." We were craving Boba tea on a Saturday around 8:45pm and decided to check this place out. The place was packed. We were only ordering drinks but this is a full restaurant with food such as appetizers and hot pot soup. We were greeted quickly by a friendly server, even though it was busy- and placed our order, the server directed us to a table to sit to wait. I thought that was cool, even though we ordered to go. I've been here several times with my family over the years. This is a good local spot for hot pot, especially on a cold day. I've gotten the hot pot several times in the past, and I really liked it. During my most recent visit, I decided to try something different and ordered the Curry Chicken Rice. Overall, the Curry Chicken Rice was okay. The dish was quite spicy for me (I do have a low spice tolerance). The menu didn't mention anything about it being spicy; otherwise I would've asked for less spicy. Additionally, the rice was a little dry. The chicken, however, was good. It was juicy and tender. Service was good. No complaints. The restaurant has a casual ambiance. I really like the artwork on one wall. Whoever did the drawings and lettering did an amazing job. Went here after work with family. Originally we were suppose to eat at another restaurant but the wait time was too long, so we decided to eat here instead. Thank goodness we did. This restaurant is a long time restaurant serving hotpot and ramen dishes. The service was great, got greeted right as I walked into the restaurant and got seated instantly. The customer service here was really good and our waitress was super awesome and make sure we were okay in our dining experience. The ambiance was okay as well. I really like the decor they had on the walls and also the "Cafe Dazzling" name written in chalk was really nice. I also liked how they had multiple tvs in the restaurant playing assortment of shows. The food was good, appetizing and hot. I order Spicy Miso Ramen and fried calamari. The ramen was tasty and flavorful, meat and eggs tasted good and the soup was very flavorful. I would wish the noodles were cooked less because my noodles were tough. The fried calamari was amazing and the sauce they gave with the calamari really complemented the squid. I also ordered a side order of there Garlic Fries and they were really good as well. Very garlicky taste and the fries were crispy. Overall I give this restaurant a solid 4/5 star review and will definitely be back because this is the only few restaurants in Tracy that is open late night. read more

She pointed us to a tiny table that's obviously wouldn't fit and then left us there. We were eventually able to caught her attention and told her we'd prefer one of the 2 empty tables. We were regulars and it is sad to have to leave a bad review and never going back to this restaurant. Properly train your new employee so they are not rude to customers would go a long way. We sat ourselves after waiting for a long time because the restaurant is busy. We were being as nice as possible with the intention to save them time and energy to sit us. We have already sat down for a few minutes and the waitress came up to us and say, "wait at the entrance nice time". Is it really that big of a deal to make a comment? Horrible customer service. Says open until 11pm got there at 10:33 and says dining is closed and tried to order at 10:42pm and says the kitchen is closed at 10:40. Owner needs to change hours to 10:30 if employees need to go home by 11pm. Its not the employees fault, BUT the management needs to do better because we drove 20 mins here just to find out its too late and its not even 11pm yet. Dont let your customers drive to your restaurant without a warning on Yelp or Google that you no longer take orders before 11pm. They have soups, snacks, boba, and dessert. I just got boba and an order of popcorn chicken with a side of ranch dip. The portion was generous enough for 2 to share. The service was friendly. This review is for the boba only. I will say, my parents love the soup so I'm sure the food is fantastic. I got the matcha milk tea with boba and my dad got the milk tea with boba. We got 25% sweetness. I think this was pretty average. The boba isn't sweetened at all like some other shops that have brown sugar or honey boba, so maybe we could have gone up in sweetness so the drink didn't taste so watery. My matcha milk tea tasted more like green milk tea. I know that sounds like I'm nit picking but there really is a difference and I could taste immediately that this didn't have that matcha richness. It reminded me of the popcorn chicken you get as a little snackie from the boba shops. Literally same taste. I also order the tonkotsu ramen and my bf the spicy miso ramen. We both enjoyed our ramens but I do think there could some improvements. The broth was tasty, and I'm glad mine wasn't covered in oil but I prefer my ramen with a runnier egg. Mine seemed as it was overcooked. The seaweed it came with it was fantastic though. The service, could use some improvement. I visited Cafe Dazzling with a group of people in March 2023. We decided to order three hot pot soups to share. The best one that I liked the most was the Japanese Miso Hot Soup. The Calamari was ordered as the appetizer, and it was the perfect crisp. Finally, I tried the Strawberry Banana Smoothie. It was so refreshing and tasty. The service was fine, but it could've been better. We had to catch the server's attention to get what we want instead of the server checking in on us attentively. Cafe Dazzling is a great place for hot pot and ramen, but not quite boba. When I came my friend and I ordered the Vegetable hot pot and the Curry pork ramen both of which were absolutely delicious. The veggie hot pot had a savory thai curry base to it and had tons of artisanal veggies such as enoki mushrooms and tofu skin, and the curry pork ramen reminded me of traditional Singaporean curry and was packed with flavor in each bite and a depth of sweet richness to the broth with the fatty slabs of pork layered atop! The reason for 4 stars however is the boba - which was chalky and watered down lacking depth to flavor, not sweet enough even with what was called 100% sweetness and with boba being stale and tough to chew, especially the Taro Milk Tea with Boba. read more
