Beef and Broccoli- $14/$15 full take out container again, bursting at the seams. Again, this was worth 2-3 full adult meals, maybe more if you add rice or noodles. The beef was soft and marinated with a soy sauce and slightly sweetened marinade. The broccoli was not overdone or undercooked and delicious beef sauce. Fortune Garden has become one of my favorite places to eat! Most of the Chinese food in the area is either too expensive or not very good. This food is so delicious! The food tastes fresh every time I come. The owners are so sweet and friendly whenever I come in. I've tried so many things on the menu and nothing has been a let down so far. After visiting the farmers market today, I decided to step in to have lunch there. I ordered a Combination Chao Fun. The food came back with a good portion. Price is reasonable but the food is very salty and this is obvious just to look at the color of Chao Fun, too much the sauce. I don't know that if this a one time kind thing when the cook is drunk or it is always salty as this is my first time there. I would want to continue to support a local business but the cook needs to pay attention to what he puts in to the food for people to eat if he cares. Unless the customer ordered rice to eat with the Chao Fun, there is no way you cannot eat the food with this amount of sauce. read more

This was my go to place. Crime the time it was Jade Garden until now as the Fortune Garden. I placed a take out order last night getting a few of our usual favorites. I'll list some of the food and problems. The vegetable egg foo young smelled off. My wife nearly vomited after taking a piece. I smelled it and it definitely had a strange almost rotten egg smell. Secondly there used to be three large egg foo young patties (omelet) now they are about 3 inches round and this order smelled of rotten eggs, and they covered it with an inordinate amount of gravy and vegetables which is unusual. Straight to the trash can. Second general tsao chicken. They meat was breaded with twice the amount of batter and almost undetectable amount of chicken meat. The next item was sweet and sour pork which we hadn't ordered for quite some time. Again is was the same case all breading and very little meat. You couldn't even detect or tell what type of meat was in the pint box. 2/3 gravy and vegetables to 1/3 supposed meat. Next we ordered the beef and snow peas. Taste was acceptable but the beef was lacking. Finally the house fried rice was extremely dry and being "house" fried rice we expected shrimp, beef, chicken and some vegetables. We found one shrimp in the entire box and definite disappointment. This and their prices are extremely high for an unacceptable food product. Everything went straight into the trash can. $77.20 out the door. Never again. Buyers had better be aware of what they're spending their money on. So sad. read more

When I showed up to pickup my takeout, an employee was sitting out front smoking a cigarette; not exactly the most enticing attribute.
