We've gotten take out from here a few times and always enjoyed it, but tonight we made it inside the eat. They've got ample seating inside & outdoors which is a huge plus. A lot of the local spots here struggle a bit with how small their spaces are. The food here was good. We tried a ton of stuff. Of course you've got to have the pad Thai, basil fried rice, & chicken satay too. We also had Bbq pork, fried shrimp rolls. The food & service were both tremendous. Their staff does shared service, they've take excellent care of you. Give this local spot a try. read more

RUDE encounter with GESA. The short Asian woman with bleached hair. I've been to this Thai restaurant before since pandemic and had terrible experience with GESA, we never came back, we decided to give it a try hoping service would be better. As soon as we walked in, we were seated at a table right by the entrance with the door left open, letting cold air continuously blow in, weather is 59F outside, my friend has a thyroid condition that makes her especially sensitive to cold, so we politely asked if we could move to an inner table. At the time, the restaurant was mostly empty (only a few tables occupied), so it didn't seem like a difficult request. When this server--who we later found out was named Gesa--brought our food, I kindly asked if we could relocate. Her response was immediately dismissive. Face looking so upset. She looked around as if the restaurant was full and then told us, in a raised and argumentative tone, that "it's cold everywhere even inside is close to the exit," (which is not true) repeatedly pushing back instead of trying to help. The interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational over a simple and reasonable request. What made it worse was how uncomfortable and unwelcome we were made to feel by GESA. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable--just to be seated away from a cold draft, especially given a health concern. Instead of empathy or basic customer service, we were met with resistance and attitude by GESA the Asian service with bleached hair The food was fine, but the service completely overshadowed the experience. No customer should feel dismissed or argued with over something so simple. I hope management addresses this, especially regarding how Gesa handled the situation, because this kind of interaction drives customers away. Never coming back to this place! read more

Kind waitress, was very conscientious about the tables allergies. Mango salad - $15.95. Very well made, not too fishy or spicy. Comes with plump shrimp. On crispy ice berg lettuce. Raw lemongrass. Pad Thai $17.95 with prawns. Nice mild sweet pad Thai. Squid on skewers - $11.95. Squid is soft and not fresh, cucumbers cut with sweet chili sauce. Yellow curry- potato, carrot, chicken- wish it came with rice for the price $15.95. However the flavor was good. We went here for a date night, and I really enjoyed the decor and wall art. The staff are very friendly and provided fantastic service. They did a great job explaining the menu and how the dishes worked. We ended up getting the seafood pad thai, and a seafood curry with fried rice. The curry rocks! Highly suggest. The pad thai was pretty good, but not the greatest ever. If you stop by the curry is the way to go. read more

I love Thai food and was happy to be able to try out a restaurant I hadn't been to before in Tracy California. I was really happy to find that they had a duck dish which I've had at other places which I absolutely love crispy duck is one of the best way to have duck. This restaurant sauce was a little bit interesting and I could tell they had some Worcestershire sauce in it, which actually was kind of tasty. The duck was very well done. I also had pad Thai with shrimp. I can't say it was the best pad Thai I've ever had, but it was very tasty. I will definitely be going back oh, and almost forgot to mention they have a full bar, which is always nice. read more

I have been going here for a very long time and their food used to be great. Today I went there for lunch and I have to say it is not like it was before. There wasn't any flavor in anything we ordered. We only told the waitress how the food was after she asked us and she said one of the cooks look very tired today so may have missed adding the right ingredients to the dishes and we ordered 4 different things. The wait staff were very nice. When I had a question about my delivered dish (because there was some confusion) they fixed it quickly. The place looks like it use to be a very old bar and this thai restaurant took over with some restaurant booths and wall decor. Some simple new paint could easy brighten the place up. My date and I ordered a couple curry rice dishes (a special and a lunch special), tom kha, and the mango sticky rice. Everything was delicious. My only "complaint" (not serious) is the mango sticky rice portion was a bit small. read more

3$ Thai tea go crazy! Unfortunately one of the only highlights of the menu. I got fried rice and it was just rice with vegetables kind of bland not really any detectable flavors. The other thing I got was green curry which was just salty no notes of other flavors. The texture was also a bit watery not creamy / coconuty ~ The prices for the quality of food wasn't worth it in my opinion. But overall the place was not bad and the staff was nice too. Another great experience at Tracy Thai! We stopped by with a party of 7 without reservations on a Saturday evening (5p) and were seated right away, with only two other parties there eating at the time. Our server Anthony, was not only helpful and attentive, he had some delicious recommendations for us to try this round and we were not disappointed. Everything I tasted was very flavorful and prepared perfectly. They allow you change the heat for most dishes so if you like it spicy or mild, they got you covered. By the time we were leaving, the restaurant was more than half full yet the service never declined. I also love how large the restaurant is as it allows for larger parties to sit together easily. The inside is lit well and the decor is nice. They have a full bar and make some great drinks (must try the Moscow mule)! We stuffed ourselves silly, and went home happy! Definitely stop by and give them a try... and make sure to ask for Awesome Anthony as your waiter if he's working!! read more

Our first time eating here, we ordered yellow curry with an order of brown rice. The cabbage in the yellow curry and the brown rice were spoiled! The brown rice smells like spoiled cheese, it was disgusting and a health concern. Never going back. read more

This restaurant is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in town but I am giving only 3 star because of the tone of the person who welcomed into the restaurant. We made reservation for 14 people, when we did call for the first time we were told they can't keep all of us in single table but when we spoke with them for second time they agreed upon it and by the time we reached it was two tables and when we asked about it the person other side was literally yelling at us saying I told you over phone-----etc Because we love the restaurant and the food we decided to stay back even after the unpleasant experience. The service is great and ambiance is nice inside. It's very active and has lots of customers with plenty of seating. I ordered the Pad Thai, the rice noddle flavor was a little overpowering which made it have an odd flavor but adding chili paste to it with some lime made the taste better. We found another good Thai place! This place has pretty solid food. We arrived here around 5pm for dinner and able to getting a parking spot up front. For dinner we got the following: Fresh Rolls (3/5) - This had ground chicken, prawn, lettuce, carrot, rice noodle wrapped in clear rice paper. These were served with peanut sauce and sweet & sour sauce. We thought these tasted ok. It was kind of messy eating this because the rolls would fall apart. I'm not really into peanut sauce but I gave it a try and spring rolls tasted better with this sauce than the sweet and sour sauce. Gang Ped Yang (5/5) - This dish has slices of boneless duck, tomatoes, pineapple, sweet basil, bell peppers cooked in red curry paste and coconut. This dish tasted so delicious. The duck curry is mild spicy but it didn't seem spicy to me at all which I liked. Basil fried rice (5/5) - Fried rice with chili oil, onion, garlic, bell peppers and sweet basil with beef This tasted flavorful but it was kind of spicy. A side of jasmine rice cost $2. Overall, great food! Service was quick and friendly. We will have to come back here again. read more

Food: the food was good! Anyone who can fry tofu to perfection is good with me! The tofu lives by its name crispy! Loved dipping it in the peanut sauce and the vinegar (should try it if you haven't) sauce not bad with it. The honey wings were not deep fried but it still had that crispy taste, loved that as well. The other dishes we ordered were of course tasty as well but the tofu and wings were the ones I wanted to highlight during this visit. Service: our servers were friendly, however when we finished our meal and we're having dessert I found my water glass empty they didn't fill it up again. Ambiance: it never fails, when I come to an Asian restaurant the decor is always beautiful in my opinion. I loved that I did not have to look hard for parking. Price: the prices were really good! We came in here on Tuesday at 2:10pm, I m so proud of this place and I want my family to try it. It was so frustrating ,the staff told us that they can't accommodate our group(seven Of us) as they are closing at 3pm and since we are seven they don't have time to cook our food and they have to leave /off exactly at 3pm .. Tracy Thai is a family favorite when dining local. We had family come from the bay and wanted them to try this spot. We ordered a bunch of stuff, honey chicken wings, chicken pad Thai, beef pad see ew, Laos style papaya salad, crab and prawns fried rice, chicken laarb, kra pao gai, tiger beef with sauce and mango sticky rice. Portions are pretty good and prices are good too. Everyone enjoyed the food and said everything tasted really good. Only one suggestion from my husband was to have more crab in the fried rice. We placed a to-go order. Parking here is tricky bc this place is downtown. Pad thai: (3/5) I got their combo which came with shrimp, pork, chicken and beef. The proteins were good but the taste of the sauce was strange on the noodles compared to other pad thai I've had. The overall taste could've been better. Had the Tom Kha Gai Soup and Satay Chicken. The Satay Chicken was perfectly seasoned and grilled. But the soup was really sweet. Unfortunately, I'm diabetic and should not have eaten it. I asked my server if it had honey in it? She said it's sugar. I've never heard of adding sugar to this soup. It naturally has a little sweetness normally from the coconut milk but not sugar! Next time I'll ask for no sugar or any kind of sweetener in my soup. Otherwise, I've always loved the food here. I have ordered / doordashed many times and we love the food. Its always fresh and every request is perfectly accommodated in the dish. This was our special day so we planned to go out on a nice dinner. And guess what ???? Worst service. We entered the restaurant around 8.05 pm. Very rude greetings .. ok we ig nored.. next she comes with the menu and says order everything in next 10 mins as we close at 9 ( we can definitely understand this part as they have to close the kitchen, happy to do so) she continues saying 'we close in 45 mins, everything will be cleared and closed' Whatttt????? Really ???? When she clearly sees us walking in with 2 toddlers isn't it obvious their eating time depends and varies every day ???? We politely asked the other server 'so do you want us to move out in 45 mins or can we continue to eat a little longer ?' Again with a RUDE FACE ' WE CLOSE IN 45 MINS MEANING WE NEED TO CLOSE THE SHOP AND GO' I started feeling ' WOW!!! Ordered to go from Tracy Thai. The restaurant is spacious and has a modern decor to it. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to the customers. We ordered the crispy garlic fish, pad thai, duck curry, and garlic pork. My favorite dish was the garlic pork. Meat cooked perfectly. Nice and tender with tons of flavor. 5/5 Crispy fish was ok. Sauce was a bit heavy and fish was thin so it was kind of fry. 3/5 Pad thai had all the right flavors. Cook to the noodlss were a bit over so they stuck together. Otherwise everything else on it was good. 4/5 Duck curry was rich and creamy. Had pineapples and veggies. All cooked down so it soft. Wish they would have given more duck, felt like we barely had any. 4.5/5 Definitely will be coming back here. read more
