I went in this location to buy señorita bread but i changed my mind when I saw one roach crawling out their kitchen wall and then followed by another. They were all busy at the back. Their bread is awesome, but you'll just never know if they're able to clean and/or sanitize their kitchen station. read more

This is a cute little bakery, right off of the freeway next to In-N-Out. We usually come here because they have fresh señorita bread. If you have never had señorita bread it is butter and sugar. Bake to perfection. There was no one there when we arrived and we ordered 20 pieces of señorita bread. The service was quick and fast and friendly. We also had their meat pies. We ordered a chicken and pork meat pie. The chicken was a little dry, but the pork tasted great. Our experience here is always great as usual. There's still older Filipino ladies in the back, usually grabbing our orders, and they are super knowledgeable as well. read more

These are little drops of heaven!! Love the senorita bread! Few months ago I didn't even know the type of bread they sell and now I crave for this!! It's served right of the oven fresh and hot whenever I have had! Goes so well with a hot cup of coffee. The calories are so worth it lol! The lady at the counter was warm and friendly! Didn't realize that this was no longer a starbread but I still went in because I was in town and got a 20 piece. Went there during opening so the line was a bit long and it was packed but that's to be expected right at opening. Nice and clean inside w a bunch of different options. Senorita bread is consistently amazing! The inside is perfectly filled with sugar and butter. They have the best ones in my opinion because they have a crispy crust layer. Finally got to come see the place for myself after so many people have brought these to work. Small shop. When you walk in, it's on the left side. The other side is a different restaurant or drink spot. The lady working was really nice and brought everything out quickly. I also got a chicken empanada that was really good with enough filling inside. Will definitely go back for more bread and to try new items! read more

Not sure how I feel about this location for Starbread. I've been to this location for a few years now. I've been into Starbread since going to the union city and Newark bakery many years ago. I don't think the Newark one is still around. The Starbread is in this little shop. There's no seating. The parking can be limited. Anyhow, I don't know what it is. The Starbread at this location tastes slightly different and seems to get stale much quicker. They're still good but not sure if I'd want to get as much of an order like I used to. I also had picked up pastillas for my son. They were obviously old. They were practically hard as a rock. I suggest dates of when produced and/or at least an expiration date on the container. I'm hoping it was just an off day when I did visit. read more

My coworker brought me some senorita breads and they were so good! They taste the best hot but deliver the same flavor retoasted. Seniorita Bread is delicious and if you haven't tried it, just know you won't be able to have just one! It's the most popular item at Ling Nam Express but they have other Filipino desserts. The Seniorita Bread is buttery soft and fluffy and the filling is very, very light and is basically just butter and brown sugar. It's so simple and yummy. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The cashier was very friendly and polite. The place is small and designed for take out. Parking is easy. read more

Mold warning. Beware of refrigerated items sold at this location. I purchased a buko pie ($12) and it had mold growing across the entire pie. I didn't notice until I got home because the lid was clouded from condensation. Because I live far away, I called about it and offered to send a video. Instead of offering a refund, they said they'd allow me to come back for a new pie. I called months later to pick up the replacement pie since I was going to be in the area. They said they were out of buko pies and I could choose another--they apparently only had pies available at a lesser value and would comp with senorita bread. I also received a phone lecture from Joy (through Carmela) that this wouldn't be allowed next time... I'd prefer not being sold a moldy pie next time. Thanks! Upon pick up, they only offered the cassava pie ($7), even though buko pies were in the display. No senorita bread given as promised. Condescending service. They'll sell you food that can make you sick and make you out to be in the wrong. In retrospect, I shouldn't have bothered over $12. Ling Nam, please double check your fridge temperatures and throw out pies once they're old. Or sell them frozen. read more

Fresh bread! Always comes out to you hot and freshly baked. I love the "pan de sal" quality of the bread and how it's not super sweet and packed with sugar. Wish there were more locations in the bay! 20 pcs for $12 is fairly priced and they accept Apple Pay and credit cards. Will be back! read more

I've only ever heard cold señorita bread from coworkers but I wanted to try the real thing so I came to Ling Nam Express! Ling Nam is split with POP, a boba spot, so it can be confusing when you walk into the building but there's signage inside to differentiate them. There wasn't anyone at the cash register when I walked in. There's a bell to ring and the cashier will come out quickly. I ordered 20 pieces of the bread and it only took her a few minutes to bring them out. They were so fresh and soft!! They were the right amount of sweet and so addicting. I shared it with my family but my fiancé and I devoured most of the bread first, that's how good they were! So affordable and delicious! read more

Service is generally fast. Tons of people get the fresh senorita bread, but it's not my thing. I do however, always get a bag or two of the pork chicharron (they also have chicken skin) every time I roll through this part of town. I happened to be in Tracy for business and after lunch had a craving for something sweet. Saw this place across the parking lot and Googled it to see what it was all about. I've had seniorita bread before but didn't expect to get it here. Walked in and it's a small storefront that shares space with a boba tea shop. The lady was very nice. I ordered a 10 piece of seniorita bread so that I would have some to snack on later. It took a few minutes but she came back with my box and the bread was still warm. The employee was helpful, courteous and very apologetic for the wait time, which honestly was really short. She was very pleasant and polite with the best smile. The only reason I don't frequent this little gem more often is because I'd get huge off of their bread! LOL . But I've been extra good so I decided to treat myself.
