Farmers market booth

Update: Bubbas all day everyday baby!!! Too many ono flavor combos to have here - gotta get one of everything! Literally everything I've tried tasted amazing... and part of it is the quality of everything they use to make what they do right down to the rice. Even the rice is quality you can taste the difference and it's made with love! Not only do we love all the Ube everything on the menu, we also love how they continue to make new items including they started selling their homemade sauces, ice creams, etc! They love their loyal customers so much they recently named a menu item after me "Kerith-subi sandwich" which is a Breaded Chicken, Rice, Furikake Spring Mix, Hot Honey, Sriracha Mayo musubi sandwich! Their fried chicken is so crispy, paired with their homemade hot honey is finger lickin good! Honestly, Too many favorites to name them all, anything you pick I'm sure you'll be happy with. I get a few items Everytime I stop by! The service is also top notch- they are all so friendly and accommodating. It sometimes takes a bit for the food but it's because it's all made fresh to order and they put love into it. They give you a pager so I suggest you order here first and then you can walk around and enjoy the rest of the market while waiting for the order. If you stick around while waiting, they also often have samples available which is nice because then you can try other things you may not have yet! I definitely recommend stopping by the mountain house farmers market Sundays to pick up some of this goodness! ...And we can't wait until they have an actual location!!

Bubbas Catering is Top Notch 5 Star!

Bubbas Catering is Top Notch 5 Star! Fusion Filipino food! I loved them and It was my first time! The Special Masubis she made were just the perfect rice and spam combination the add ons just made it 10x better, She hooked me up with the Ube ice Cream and Biscoff Ice cream to take home and regret not asking for more! The Ube Horchata drink I could drink forever but just know it doesn't last long! I had to also try her Adobo style and I had a small sample and I ended up asking for an extra bowl for Togo! I can't wait to cater her for my next event Jean is the best and Her Family is Just As Warming and Thoughtful of every customer! Hire her please for your Work party's, car meets and Etc! Thank you JEAN! -Yuya KDMNORCAL

Crappy overpriced $10 musubi. Comes with 2 but could only stomach 1

Where do I even begin... usually you get what you paid for but this doesn't even apply at Bubba's because it is over priced with terrible service and food quality. Ordered two orders of musubi's and they only were able to complete one order after taking almost 30 mins. After I saw the quality of the first one, I had to cancel the 2nd order that they were STILL working on... all while other customer orders that were much heavier foods were done already. No communication from staff with only a "sorry" after I demanded they cancelled the order. Not worth the time or money.

Even Crazier Fries: my favorite. spam and hot cheetos make this a unique take on loaded fries

I love this place. It feels like home- not just because of the food, but also the people. The owner Jean, is like a filipino mom trying to make sure everyone is fed and happy. She's constantly pushing out new food and offering samples to everyone. There's all sorts of fun food, desserts, and drinks here. I like to try something new every week but my favorites are the James-subi (named after me), the Crazy Fries, and the Even Crazier Fries.

Lollisubi and chicken katsu

5 Stars - A Weekly Tradition We Can't Live Without! Bubba's at the Mountain House Farmers Market is hands-down one of the best food spots around. Every Sunday, without fail, I swing by to pick up two chicken katsu and one lollisubi for my 13-year-old daughter. She absolutely LOVES the food--so much so that she eats some on Sunday and saves the rest to enjoy throughout the week. It's become our tradition, and honestly, our weekend wouldn't feel complete without it. Jean, the cook and owner, is one of the kindest and most genuine people you'll ever meet. She always greets us with a smile and generous samples of new creations. You can tell she pours her heart into the food and the experience. The atmosphere at Bubba's is always so friendly and welcoming. It's more than just a pop-up--it feels like a little community stop where great people serve great food with love. If you're anywhere near the Mountain House Farmers Market on a Sunday, do yourself a favor and make Bubba's your first stop. You'll probably become a regular like us. Highly, highly recommend!

Owner and all the workers are just amazing people, always the kindest and gets food out really quick the food omg it's genuinely the best masubis i have ever had. all desert options are just amazing. every experience i have had with them is just amazing, me and my family always looks forward to sundays to see their shop at the farmer market

Stumble upon this place at the at the Filipino Island Fest in Alameda and has to say this is one of my favorites food vendor that night! Despite the busyness, the staffs were delightful and very helpful. The service was great and the food was so YUMMY!!! My favorite was the Lolli subi and Kylo's subi!! Also found out that they're located in Mountain House near where I live, every Sunday for the farmer's market so I'll definitely be back

They offer combo plates or separate entrees; lots of dishes to choose from, a full fridge of beverages, and desserts. Booths are large enough to seat 4-6 people. The employees multitask with ease. Great and friendly service. Walking out of this restaurant with just one item in hand is least likely. It all looks too appetizing!

We also got a 6pc order of lumpia, half chicken, half pork so that was nice you can pick. The lumpia was freshly fried, you could feel it through the bag, and still hot when we got home. I think I preferred the pork over the chicken filling. The pork sisig was a bit tough and on the charred side and overall a bit hard to eat. It didn't taste fresh. the garlic rice was good though, soft, and fragrant and the portion was generous. the fried egg was cooked well too. Just was hoping for a better pork sisig, and it had white stuff in it. at first we thought it was like melted mozzarella cheese that was cooked w/the pork, but it wasn't cheese....not sure what it was. They make the food to order and it took a while to come out. In the meantime we walked around the store a couple times but then I went to take a seat outside at the table. I would be interested in coming back to try one of their other breakfast items.
