I stopped by café dazzling because it was the only place that had crepes! My son and I stopped by to eat one, however he wanted fruit with whipped cream and I wanted a regular crepe. To my surprise, I must have confused the waitress because I got all the fruit on the side and the crepe full of whipped cream (I'm lactose intolerant). I wanted to ask if I could get an extra plate so my son can eat his dairy filled fruit but we never saw the waitress again. If you ever go there it's a small place with a handful of tables so she basically hid in the back. I had to ask some one for some drinks and the check before they disappeared for another hour. A great place to get your hot pot fix if you live in Tracy! Portions are big, prices are relatively affordable, and they also serve drinks, desserts, and many other appetizers too. Came in on a weekday during the evening and the store was empty inside. It's located in a busy plaza but there's typically plenty of parking. Service was decent, but our order came out in about 10-15 minutes. There's a lot of seating inside and it does feel a little old (especially the chairs), but it's pretty clean for the most part. My partner and I ordered the Thai Hot Soup and an order of popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken tasted as you'd expect; we opted for the sweet chili sauce as a dipping sauce. The Thai Hot Soup was larger than I remembered and was loaded with toppings as well which was great. Not only did it have vermicelli noodles inside, but it also came with a side of rice. The broth was a little salty alone but luckily you could combat that with the toppings inside. Pro tip: ask for the chili oil on the side! When I first walked in, it seemed like they were only taking to go because there was a desk with the menu and other items you would see at a check out area. Plus, the place was empty. I know that probably was the host area where you wait to be seated but the vibe didn't seem it. Anyways I was although really gonna get our treat to go, so when the lady there was done giving the other customer their to go order, she asked if we knew what we wanted or needed to see a menu (see other hint that made it seem like to go only) I said I know I wanted the strawberry banana crepe to go (I really needed to use the bathroom since I totally forgot to use it at our friends place we just left) I then asked if I could use the bathroom. After I got out I took a seat, some other people came in to sit down and eat, so they are open for sitting. I realized, Halloween decor makes it so much about Halloween and that's what they had going but under it I would say the place was cute. The Halloween stuff just threw it off for the time being. The service is always so quick and the food usually doesn't take very long. Today, however, It was pretty busy and the wait was longer than usual. But, I was particularly impressed by the young lady working alone handling it like a pro. While she was clearly busy, running around the restaurant to serve everyone she did it all while maintaining a positive attitude. Found this place tucked away in a shopping center. Clean and inviting atmosphere. Our server was very friendly! Our soup came out piping hot- with side bowls to serve and share. There wasn't an overwhelming amount of noodles and the meat and vegetables were fresh. I especially liked the tiny hotdog sausages, no fish balls for me. We've been coming back here. The service has declined. The young server who attended our orders looked unhappy when we requested for more ketchup. When you eat here, a service charge is included. They should treat their customers with respect and attend to their needs to their satisfaction. I can't tell you how long it took to place our orders. My fiancé got her boba tea ~15-20 minutes after the fact. I asked for water and never received it. The employee came and reminded them to wait at the front and that he would hand them their food. Honestly, I'd do the same if I stood there as long as they did. Food is kind of expensive. I don't really like meaty soups and my sister is vegan and it's more fun to share the Healthy hotpot veggie soup. The tofu puffs are so good and I also love enoki mushrooms!!! My boyfriend doesn't really like soup, so when we go on our own we usually just get crepes, which aren't as much as the soups. I think the price for the crepes are fairly reasonable but it isn't super filling. I can't finish a whole hotpot by myself, and I think it is something best shared. My ramen was super flavorful and packed with pork chasu, but not overpowered with cabbage or bamboo shoots like a lot of places tend to do. The spice level was perfect! I was able to eat most of my bowl and finish off most of the broth without getting that chalky consistency at the bottom of the bowl! It is quite loud inside, due to them constantly blending drinks, but that gets drowned out by the sound of families enjoying their meals and their company. Cafe Dazzling is open late, which is great because they were busy the whole time we were there. The servers were super nice and attentive while keeping busy bussing the tables as guests left and checking on the customers that were still dining! This place is on the left of Food Maxx right inside the shopping center at the corner of 11th & Corral Hollow. They have ample seating inside. Maybe around 12 tables, 4 tops. They have tons of options to eat. Stuff kids like, gyoza, fries, then tons of options for ramen noodles. I like how they have build your own options. I got the small ramen with cabbage, and 3 pieces of pork. It was tasty. They also let you order milk tea, and frozen drinks, the frozen options only have fruit choices though, if they had chocolate options it would kill even more attraction wise to the menu. I got the blueberry yogurt flavor added boba. My wife also got ramen, and enjoyed it. Their service was excellent, we got checked on multiple times by multiple people. Some friends and I decided to stop by at this dazzling cafe during the fourth of July for a boba break before continuing on our adventures. Is boba in Tracy be any good? The answer is yes. To switch things up I deviated from my usual picks and went for a fruit tea--the Mango Milk Tea, to be precise. I was first surprised because it did not look like a mango drink. In fact, it looked more like a Jasmine Milk Tea. The Mango Green Tea and Mango Smoothie drinks that my friends got looked much more like the typical mango drinks. Still, the mango milk tea tasted like mangos and it was good, although a bit heavy. This review is for the service only. I went to the restaurant to place an order to go. Someone had greeted me and said we'll be right with you. There were two servers working at that time. I'm observing them tend to customers sitting at the tables, bringing their orders and cleaning tables. There were no other people in line except me. They were clearly ignoring me not making eye contact with me and making sure that they tend to the customers that are seated. First of all, it would take less than a minute to take my order but they chose to clean tables or give customers their checks. I was patiently waiting and giving them benefit of the doubt. I finally had it after waiting about 10 minutes and they just kept passing by without saying anything to me. This is specific to the two girls working on Nov. 11 around 1:30 pm. Don't be rude to any customers. I would even appreciate it if you tell me that you're too busy and can't take orders instead of ignoring me and wasting my time waiting. The food was excellent and Sam who helped us decide what we wanted was simply amazing. She was friendly and very courteous! We definitely will go back to get more of the Bay Area flavors. The place was very clean and tidy and well lit. For a Thursday night there were people constantly coming to either pick up or dine in. We certainly found a great Ramen place in Tracy!
