People working here offers outstanding over the counter customer service experience. It's a great convenient spot on the corner and there's public parking all around the building. What you'll find desirable are plenty of comfortable tables and chairs outside which is mostly in a shaded area. You can find a place to sit inside too, but it's not a huge bagel shop/just a simple layout. Public restroom is available. Self service complimentary water. I like most of their selections on the menu and customers are casual & happy inside. I came to get a quick bite before going off to a nearby appointment. Easy in and out visit. Specialty sandwiches and drinks are good. I had a 12oz. hot cup pumpkin spice latte and an egg & cheese sandwich on whole wheat bagel. Affordable. Simple and good. Staffs are good employees here. You can easy have a friendly conversation with them, so the vibes are good. It's a clean and organized place too. This is worth another stop for convenience in the future. Im so glad I found this place! The interior was really spacious and looks like a great place to have breakfast/lunch. Got the classic lox bagel and a pastrami and swiss with an asiago bagel. I think i'm hooked now. They were both so delicious! They were both generously filled, saucy, and super flavorful. They were both cut in half so it was easy to share with my partner. We were pretty full afterwards. The worker was very patient and gave me great suggestions because I couldn't decide what to get. I'm a delivery driver that is new to the area. I was working in their business park on a rainy day and went in to Bubb's to make a delivery. The store owner and the 2 employees were super nice. I decided to take a break from the rain and have lunch here. I order the pastrami bagel sandwich and a hot mocha. One bite of the sandwich and I was hooked. Soooooo delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. My mouth said "I want another" but my stomach told me "you're full". Oh so good! And the mocha was the best one I've had in a very long time. When I'm out delivering in that area again, I'll be sure to grab lunch at Bubb's bagels. read more

I got the Sundried tomato bagel with the chive spread, very tasty but my only ask is that the bagel was a little less dense. The coffee was a little Bit watered down, not sure what happened there but that was a bit frustrating. One thing you can't beat is their customer service, very friendly staff and helpful with the menu. read more

Hands down best bagel I ever had. They are huge, and nice and chewy on the outside with wonderful flavor. You can tell that they only use the highest quality dough. Staff are friendly and efficient. Appreciate that they offer premium coffee and brewed hot tea. They also have a wide selection of lattes (cold or hot) and sandwiches. Prices are very, very reasonable. This place is a must visit. The bagels are huge, and if you order a sandwich they are STUFFED. My husband and I could've shared one bagel and been satisfied for the morning. The bread of the bagel is soft & fluffy, and the Asiago flavor is amazing. I had the breakfast club on Asiago and my only complaint is the egg was slightly too dry - but it did say twice fried so maybe it's suppose to be? Otherwise the bagel was bursting with flavor. Story time: I was randomly in the area and navigated to a supercharger that just so happened to be right across from Bubb's. Wanted to bring something home as a surprise to my bread & coffee-loving wife. I started on their website, exploring the "about me" and food offerings to see if they mentioned anything about dietary restrictions. We're vegan & oddly enough, good bagels that don't cost a fortune are hard to find. Made it to the yelp and got a little terrified with the reviews, however, I thoroughly appreciated the attention, and care of the owners responses. I love supporting small businesses, so in I went. Person at the register had great energy. I loved that when I asked a question they didn't know the answer to, they made sure to check rather than mislead me. Bagel: Sun-dried tomato and basil bagel with vegan schmear, 10/10. Yes it's generous on the schmear, but isn't that a good thing?! Nice and fluffy, toasted to perfection. Still enjoyable to us after a 20 minute drive. Coffee: seasonal (gingerbread) latte, 10/10 We played a game for her to guess the flavor. First sip, "I don't know what this is but it's def from a coffee shop because this is bomb!" The Mrs, like the owner, is a lover of coffee. Her approval says a lot. She did say it didn't taste like gingerbread, more like vanilla, but didn't care because the flavor coffee was phenomenal. Ambiance: Clean and well kept. I did go on a random Wednesday at like 10am, but it regardless, 10/10 Don't be afraid of the bad reviews. I recommend this place based on my experience. What a great spot! We came here for the first time while visiting family. Stopped in to grab a dozen bagels for a gathering. Lots of staff working hard to get the orders out. Staff are friendly and helpful. Love that they double check the order and make sure everything is stocked since so many orders were ahead of us. There's some tables to eat there along with some counter top areas around the windows. The locations is on the corner and bright inside. Really nice. They even have some premade snacks in their fridge that you can purchase too. Plenty of options for bagels, shmears, sandwiches, and drinks. The bagels were fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. Oh and they'll slice them for you, which was a great added bonus. We will definitely come back here on future visits too. read more

The quality of the cream cheese, the coffee, and all the sandwich ingredients are much better quality than any of the big chain Bagel shops. But the bagels themselves are so carb heavy and thick and hard to chew. It's very difficult to eat all of it and this would be our favorite bagel place for the quality of everything else. Maybe you guys could make a few thinner bagels options and see how they sell. I'm sure some people like the really thick carb dense bagels, but they are very difficult to chew through and they sit like a brick in my stomach after. read more

The shop itself is really cute and inviting, and they get major points for having a solid variety of bagels and cream cheese options. It's the kind of place you want to like -- bright, cheerful, and great for a casual stop. That said, the bagels were just okay for me. I personally like a bagel with more chew and a bit of resistance, and these leaned more toward dense bread than classic chewy bagel. The flavored cream cheeses (blueberry, strawberry) were fine, but didn't feel noticeably different from standard Philadelphia-style spreads. Still, if you're in the area and want a pleasant, easy bagel stop with lots of choices and a charming vibe, Bub's fits the bill. Not life-changing, but definitely enjoyable. read more

Besides easy parking there is nothing redeeming about Bubbs Bagels. I went there today and tried 3 things, all were disappointing For starters ordering was extremely slow even with a short line and then it took forever for food to come out. There were 7 people working, it wasn't a staffing issue I ordered my usual anywhere which is sourdough bagel with bacon and scallion cream cheese. The bagel they forgot to toast, it was stale and hardly any sourdough flavor, almost had the blah wheat taste. The cream cheese was excessive and gloopy, it was far too thin and splooged everywhere. Like they just tried whipping some green onions into cream cheese and didn't let it set. One measly piece of bacon for $2. Overall this was flavorless and messy disappointment. My husband had a bacon egg and cheese on everything bagel. The bagel was very salty. We also got a blueberry bagel with butter. The butter didn't even melt, it was so poorly toasted. The bagel had little flecks that I guess resembled blueberries, but definitely seemed like they took a plain dough and as an afterthought tossed some blueberry crumbs into it. I do not recommend this place at all. Bagel Cafe and Bagel Street in Pleasanton are such better options. read more

Solid and staple here in Livermore for friendly service and good bagels! Bubbs is located right across from Tesla superchargers, so my charging sessions are always accompanied by a bagel from Bubbs! Love that they open early and you can also order online if you're in a rush. Many times, ordering in person might take longer than you expect. But they do make everything to order and every bagel I've gotten always comes out hot. This includes the bagel sandwiches or just a toasted bagel with smear. They slap it on thick, so you can ask for light smear (because who does that) if you want! Prices are extremely reasonable and I love the variety of protein and smear options that they offer. In fact, they even have different bagels of the week! Not in the mood for breakfast bagels or want a sandwich for breakfast? Bubb's got you! You can order anything on their menu. And with every morning run, you probably want some caffeine. They have it all from black coffee to your sugar filled espresso or blended of choice. There's bathrooms, indoor and some outdoor seating - overall a great environment. Super clean and always smells delicious inside. Kinda stumbled upon this shop while charging my car. What I first noticed was that the inside was quite packed , which is always a good sign. I took a few minutes checking out the menu as they have a nice variety of food and drink options. I ended up getting the "Anastashas sandwich" on a cheddar jalapeño bagel and an iced cinnamon dolce latte. The sandwich was really good, and all the ingredients paired together well. The latte was also very good and I enjoyed the sweetness but very present coffee flavor. I'm glad I came in and got to experience a few of the menus items. Will come again soon. read more

The people here seem very nice, I was helped by and she took the time to ask me how to spell my name correctly for the order, which I thought was nice. There were about 3 other small groups here when I visited but the service was still quick. I like how clean this place is-- the floors and counters all seemed very well-maintained and it felt like you were in an environment that cared. As for the food, I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and bacon and it was good! I feel like everyone's everything bagel tastes a little different and I enjoyed theirs. I also got an iced mocha latte with almond milk and it was very chocolately! This place automatically emails you a receipt without you putting your email address in... a little weird haha. We got a an egg and cheese bagel sandwich which was supposed to be toasted with butter - it came out heinously dry and there was hardly any cheese. The eggs were overdone and crunchy on the outside and there was completely no taste to it. Worst part is the bagel was super chewy and dry to where it didn't taste fresh...and almost raw. You had to keep chewing and chewing to get into it. Not sure how they can charge $6 for something below par like this. For two bagels, a bagel sandwich and some cream cheese, we walked out paying nearly $20. Really wanted to love this place bc it's so central in Livermore, but just didn't live up. read more

As well as a single jalapeño cheddar bagel with jalapeño schmear. A dirty chai latter with oat milk and a vanilla cafe macchiato with caramel drizzle for my friend. Favorite bagel spot in the Livermore / tri valley area. My bagel preference really comes down to three pillars: is it large, thick and fluffy and is it a reasonable price. And Bubb's exceed expectations. They have a huge flavor variety that is delicious and unique - some of the gems are Italian herb, sourdough, sun dried tomato basil. I'm usually not a huge chocolate chip bagel fan but these have a layer of sweet gooeyness in them that makes them an excellent pair with tons of peanut butter. I just got a jalapeño cheddar bagel toasted. It sounded good. But the bread is so tough to chew thru. My jaw hurts now. I don't know if it's the bread or how thick the bagel was. Probably the bread itself. Maybe consider a recipe change or ask your employees. Maybe it was just the type of bagel I got. Just sharing my thoughts.
