Grounded was quite busy on a weekend morning. Went with the July Special, the Salted Vanilla Bean Cold Brew. Very good and well balanced; I really enjoyed the sweetness of the cold from with the coffee. Service was fine. It took a while for them to take the customer in front of me and my order but completely understandable given they were busy making drinks for others. Location has a decent amount of space/seating. Makes for a nice stop and very close to the outlets if you need some caffeine!
I got the brown sugar iced vanilla latte with an add shot. Not sure what kind of beans they use, but unfortunately, my drink tasted a bit watered down, and I could barely taste the flavor of the espresso. Service was fairly friendly and the vibe of the coffee shop was pretty welcoming. They have local product for sale and merchandise, such as clothing. Plenty of parking and right off the freeway.
Came for an afternoon coffee after shopping at the outlets. Upon coming in, staff immediately greeted us and explained the monthly and daily special drinks they had. Really friendly service and appreciated the explanations. We got the weekend special, which was the salted vanilla bean cold brew. The drink was like a liquid dessert, but not overly sweet, which I enjoyed. We also got a guava ginger beer to-go. Definitely will come back to try other drinks they have if I'm in the area!

As an Asian who loves savory breakfast, I was very fond of their savory oats. Kimchi, Bacon, Sunny Side Up Egg, Green Onions, all mixed, was a perfect way to start the morning. COFFEE: 7/10 Their coffee has potential and looks aesthetically great. I'd give it a 7/10 because I was hoping to taste more of the flavors described in the drink I ordered, especially the espresso. It ended up being a bit too milky for my taste. Honestly, my drink tasted more like oat milk than the brown sugar, vanilla, or espresso. That said, I'd definitely give their drinks another try! SERVICE: 10/10 Staff are very friendly and engage in conversations with their customers! Service was very quick as well. AMBIANCE: 10/10 I loved how spacious and clean the coffee shop was. Everywhere you look, there are cute, aesthetic touches with art and plants. I definitely enjoyed the vibe; it felt cozy, inviting, and a great place to hang out.
Cute, spacious coffee shop. Made a quick stop here for some coffee recently. I saw a sign for Raspberry Danish Latte, and it looked like dessert in drink form. I love trying specialty lattes so that's what I got. Overall, the drink was good. I just wish there was slightly more raspberry syrup and graham cracker topping. There was very little of the raspberry, so it was subtle and didn't stand out as much as I would have wanted it to.

10/10 Iced vanilla bean latte. They weigh everything so that's how you know. The coffee is gonna be very good. Service was fast, reasonable prices, good amount, seating indoors, and outdoor outdoors. Highly recommend this place I just wish the hours were longer
We have a 2 hour drive ahead of us and it's wanted a coffee close to the freeway and Grounded was perfect for that! I got a matcha latte with lavender honey syrup and the savory oats. I did a mobile order from the website which is very convenient, and it allows you to leave notes to further customize your drink and I was able to ask for half the amount of syrup because usually it's too sweet for me. The drink is perfect! Ive never had savory oats before but it sounded really comforting and filling this morning so I ordered that and I have no regret! It's delicious, warm, hearty and filling. There were two ladies working this morning and both were kind, welcoming and helpful. I wish I lived close enough to frequent this cafe but I'll definitely be stopping by whenever I pass by :)
My husband and I were on a work trip in Oakland and I was dying for a matcha on our long drive back home to Las Vegas, so we stopped at Grounded! Although this was a tad off the freeway, it was easy to find with plenty of parking. There were beautiful trees & plants outside, which also surrounded the patio area. There was a good amount of seating inside as well as one gender neutral restroom. I thought the one seating counter with built-in phone chargers was awesome. The space was clean with a modern yet rustic feel. The employees were fairly friendly and made our drinks rather quickly. I got a matcha latte with oat milk & brown sugar vanilla syrup added. They had so many unique syrup options that I had a tough time ultimately deciding, but the brown sugar vanilla was honestly such a great choice. I'm an absolute matcha snob and make my own at home all the time; the one I had at Grounded was quite delicious and I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than most other coffee shops, which made me happy. My husband went simple with a cold brew coffee and said it had a good flavor with low acidity, which he very much enjoyed. Next time we have to drive to/from Oakland for work, we'll be stopping in again and my husband will likely be taking a bag of beans home too now that he knows the coffee quality was high. Great little gem in Livermore!
Great service and end products. Would definitely go again. That said, would love for there to be a larger size for iced drinks. Pricing is spot on. We will be back.

Shout out to Grounded-Livermore for being open on Black Friday! There was no shortage of patrons coming and going but the initial reasoning why I made a pitstop was all thanks to my toddler. While on the road, early into our 2.5 hour drive needed to make it to our destination, my 5yo let out a cry needing to immediately go to the bathroom. As luck would have it, Grounded was the most promising location. With her happily able to empty her little bladder, I made the decision to grab me a much needed jolt of caffeine since I was already here. I placed my order for the [November Special] Vietnamese Cold Brew with Ube Cold Foam. 12oz seemed to be the largest size offered and will set you back about 7 bucks, pre tipping. Coffee is made to order so it did take a bit of time due to the heavy flow of patrons. Coffee didn't exactly give me Vietnamese coffee vibes but was delicious nonetheless. Ube cold foam was creamy and well balanced when it came to the sweetness level. 5 stars overall.

I'm not sure the name is the coffee but from what I remember I love it but they have soy milk which is a plus! The place has merch to sell abut expensive too, they have good designs too. But next time I'll go and buy some! They have food too. They have few tables inside and outside. The place is clean and the staff are friendly too. I'll come back to try other drinks.

Everything about this cafe is done right! I was on a road trip with my friends and needed caffeine, so we stopped by! It's right off of the freeway, so it's so convenient! Parking is easy and the service is so sweet and fast! You can customize your drink with so many syrup choices and cold foams. I got the vanilla bean matcha, Vietnamese coffee with toasted marshmallow cold foams, and vanilla cold brew! The best parts were that they don't charge extra for milk substitutes, they had free wifi, and charging cables!! Perfect for charging up for the long road trip! The interior is so clean, cozy, and well decorated and they also sell sauces and merch! Overall, this is such a great place to stop by! read more
Just finished my sandwich and coffee, ran to make a review because it was so good! I think this place deserves to be popular. Livermore doesn't have a lot of Vietnamese or matcha cafe options so it was so nice to find this spot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by warm smiles and amazing service. The cafe was intimate and clean. Cozy with surrounding local art and coffee beans. A huge plus is they use Chromatic beans (my favorite) Beverage: variety of options available for both coffee and matcha lovers. There's also Italian soda and lemonade too. I got the Vietnamese cold brew which was a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness. Sometimes Vietnamese coffee can be too sweet so this was nice. I think it would pair well with the 6-8 cold foam options too including ube or brown sugar vanilla cf. also they use pebble ice which is my favorite kind haha 10/10 Food: Asian fusion options were available with toasts, sandwiches, savory to sweet oats, sweet toasts and pastries. A little gem in Livermore! Cozy cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating, wifi, and a few chargers. Lots of parking. Staff was incredibly friendly & was in good spirits :) I got the seasonal spiced vanilla latte and the burrata toast- I also tried one of the breakfast sandos. Everything was delicious! I really enjoyed the burrata toast, which was loaded with cherry tomatoes, a thick spread of pesto, a hunk of burrata, and a nice drizzle of oil and balsamic glaze. The latte was also so cozy and spiced and perfectly balanced. Perfect for fall. If I lived closer, I would definitely frequent this spot! read more

First time here hubby brought me before heading to Sausalito. A small options of coffee and pastry's. We arrived as soon as they open was greeted as we walked in and I ordered a vanilla chocolate chip muffin which was super delicious taste so fresh. I also got a yogurt parfait it was so yummy love the hint of honey they added. Hubby ordered drip coffee with a splash of coconut. Cute lil spot pretty decor inside love they have a small book area with boardgames feels really cozy. read more

Such a cute study place, the environment is so nice and clean! The banana bread and banana chocolate chip muffin was amazing as well especially as someone with a sweet tooth. The service was a 10/10 right as we came in. I came with my sister and her coffee wasn't the sweet she wanted and they were super understanding and offered to add any sweetness to make it right for her. Definitely coming back :) read more

Just had the perfect latte. I know, basic - what's to rave about...but hear me out. Most of the time baristas are just warming the milk, or even worse - scorching it. The one I got today had just enough frothing to lighten it up. Also, I only drink decaf and so a lot of the time, you are getting this bitter option for the espresso. This quant, eclectic coffee shop tucked away in airport 84 plaza off E Jack London Blvd. The barista Lizzie was kind, professional, and friendly. I received a gift card and set out to try their goodies. I ordered the thin mint cookie, oh my so filling and flavors of mint chocolate chip bursting in my mouth. I also ordered the thin mint latte their April special. I stayed on theme with my flavors. LOL The latte was strong and I asked for more of the thin mint flavor. I'm not a purist when it comes to lattes, more flavor added the better. This is a hidden gem, come check it out. read more

Came here today for a quick lunch and some coffee given the windy day and this cafe didn't disappoint! Super cute, quaint and cozy, this place instantly hit the spot for us! We had an iced coffee and a latte, both were perfectly flavored and low on sweetness, just like we prefer! From their savories we tried the Burrata toast and the Kimchi breakfast sando, both were delicious and so flavorful! Very created menu I must say! Service was super friendly and prompt. The food is genuinely good; simple, fresh, and balanced right. Their breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and drinks hit the comforting spot. If you are coffee lover, try this place. What makes it stand out for me is how kid-friendly Grounded is. There are little books and games and a relaxed vibe. I've had 3 drinks so far this week . 2 have been ordered from their website and prepaid to be picked up. All good super yummy . Today I walked in and was disappointed with the customer service. I thought it would be more welcoming . Shit atleast a hello welcome in . Eh The barista was super nice tho and she remade my other coffee that wasn't sweet enough. I wanted to check out a different coffee shop in Livermore, so I did a Google search and found Grounded. Admittedly it was off the beaten path and took me to an area I've never been to, so it was cool exploring a new neighborhood. I pre-ordered their January specialty latte called the "Biscoffee" latte. Appreciated the customizations available through their online POS by the way. You could really make any kind of latte under the sun with all the flavors and syrups they had. They also offered a wide selection of alternative milks. I was pleasantly surprised that my latte wasn't overly sweet. When I grabbed my drink at the counter, I couldn't not notice the display case of their giant cookies. I got a mint chocolate chip cookie. The flavor was OK. Wish it had a more prominent mint flavor. The texture was not what I expected. It's really dense and hard, and you could throw it at someone like a rock. The cookie was loaded with chocolate chips though. I hung out at Grounded for a couple of hours to take a few work calls, and it was an ideal place for remote work. They have speedy wi-fi, offered USB-C cords for charging, and had an entire power strip where I could plug in multiple electronics. The place isn't completely quiet since they do play music at the shop, but it's not obnoxiously loud. read more

Love this coffee shop! Whether I'm working or meeting up with someone, the cozy vibe is just right. The coffee beans are actually really good, and the variety of drinks never disappoints. Staff is always welcoming, and I love how much they give back to the community and support local causes. Holly (the owner) is the best and her energy makes the whole place feel like home. It's worth the stop before hopping on the freeway or settling in to work from home, you'll walk out happier than when you came in. And don't leave without checking out the merch. The owner designs it herself and it's so good. Little details like that make Grounded more than a coffee shop, it's a place you'll want to keep coming back to. read more
Double visit for me today. I attended a Sip & Sweat event at CrossFit 580 where Grounded was featured and then I visited their location for their 2 year anniversary celebration featuring multiple local vendors. I was immediately greeted upon entering the shop; we looked over the menu before ordering the counter. The breakfast sandwich looked amazing so we ordered that and a drip coffee. The coffee is excellent and we loved the sandwich. Love this community & neighborhood friendly coffee shop! Livermore is lucky to have Grounded! read more
