I think I just found my new favorite coffee shop! Visited on a Sunday morning. Parking was easy and the shop is tucked away in a little corner with a few outside tables if you wanted to enjoy the weather. They have cute ceramic coffee cups (that I think I'll be back for to purchase as presents!) and a small section of T-shirts and sweaters that say "You're only as cool as you treat people." which I LOVE. The ladies working were so kind and made the experience that much better. My boyfriend got a Breakfast Sando and a 16oz iced matcha latte with whole milk and added strawberry inside it. She gave us the option to add it as strawberry cold foam too, so I think we'll try that next time. I got a 16oz iced s'mores latte with oat milk and the Avocado toast. The iced matcha was really good, we both liked that it wasn't too sweet. Same with my s'mores latte, it wasn't too sweet and I could still enjoy the coffee taste. My avocado toast was perfect! They put just the right amount of shredded bacon and the egg on top was perfectly runny as well. Next time I need to remember to add the Chili Oil for $1! The inside seating area is small and cozy. The bar seating against the window even has chargers for your devices if you wanted to get some work done. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu, 10/10 recommend :) read more

Everything about this cafe is done right! I was on a road trip with my friends and needed caffeine, so we stopped by! It's right off of the freeway, so it's so convenient! Parking is easy and the service is so sweet and fast! You can customize your drink with so many syrup choices and cold foams. I got the vanilla bean matcha, Vietnamese coffee with toasted marshmallow cold foams, and vanilla cold brew! The best parts were that they don't charge extra for milk substitutes, they had free wifi, and charging cables!! Perfect for charging up for the long road trip! Just finished my sandwich and coffee, ran to make a review because it was so good! I think this place deserves to be popular. Livermore doesn't have a lot of Vietnamese or matcha cafe options so it was so nice to find this spot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by warm smiles and amazing service. The cafe was intimate and clean. Cozy with surrounding local art and coffee beans. A huge plus is they use Chromatic beans (my favorite) Beverage: variety of options available for both coffee and matcha lovers. There's also Italian soda and lemonade too. I got the Vietnamese cold brew which was a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness. Sometimes Vietnamese coffee can be too sweet so this was nice. I think it would pair well with the 6-8 cold foam options too including ube or brown sugar vanilla cf. also they use pebble ice which is my favorite kind haha 10/10 Food: Asian fusion options were available with toasts, sandwiches, savory to sweet oats, sweet toasts and pastries. Grounded was quite busy on a weekend morning. Went with the July Special, the Salted Vanilla Bean Cold Brew. Very good and well balanced; I really enjoyed the sweetness of the cold from with the coffee. Service was fine. It took a while for them to take the customer in front of me and my order but completely understandable given they were busy making drinks for others. Location has a decent amount of space/seating. Came for an afternoon coffee after shopping at the outlets. Upon coming in, staff immediately greeted us and explained the monthly and daily special drinks they had. Really friendly service and appreciated the explanations. We got the weekend special, which was the salted vanilla bean cold brew. The drink was like a liquid dessert, but not overly sweet, which I enjoyed. We also got a guava ginger beer to-go. Cute, spacious coffee shop. Made a quick stop here for some coffee recently. I saw a sign for Raspberry Danish Latte, and it looked like dessert in drink form. I love trying specialty lattes so that's what I got. Overall, the drink was good. I just wish there was slightly more raspberry syrup and graham cracker topping. My husband and I were on a work trip in Oakland and I was dying for a matcha on our long drive back home to Las Vegas, so we stopped at Grounded! Although this was a tad off the freeway, it was easy to find with plenty of parking. There were beautiful trees & plants outside, which also surrounded the patio area. There was a good amount of seating inside as well as one gender neutral restroom. I thought the one seating counter with built-in phone chargers was awesome. The space was clean with a modern yet rustic feel. The employees were fairly friendly and made our drinks rather quickly. I got a matcha latte with oat milk & brown sugar vanilla syrup added. They had so many unique syrup options that I had a tough time ultimately deciding, but the brown sugar vanilla was honestly such a great choice. I'm an absolute matcha snob and make my own at home all the time; the one I had at Grounded was quite delicious and I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than most other coffee shops, which made me happy. My husband went simple with a cold brew coffee and said it had a good flavor with low acidity, which he very much enjoyed. Next time we have to drive to/from Oakland for work, we'll be stopping in again and my husband will likely be taking a bag of beans home too now that he knows the coffee quality was high. I wouldn't have ever come across this coffee shop if it wasn't on Yelp! This cafe is tucked away in the corner in a plaza off Isabel. I was kindly greeted when I entered and ordered a basic latte with oat milk. My latte was legit! The coffee was strong, and more on the nutty side. The oat milk added a bit of creaminess to it. We have a 2 hour drive ahead of us and it's wanted a coffee close to the freeway and Grounded was perfect for that! I got a matcha latte with lavender honey syrup and the savory oats. I did a mobile order from the website which is very convenient, and it allows you to leave notes to further customize your drink and I was able to ask for half the amount of syrup because usually it's too sweet for me. The drink is perfect! Ive never had savory oats before but it sounded really comforting and filling this morning so I ordered that and I have no regret! It's delicious, warm, hearty and filling. There were two ladies working this morning and both were kind, welcoming and helpful. I drink a lot of coffee in the Bay Area. Also, I happen to know a lot about coffee because I worked in the coffee industry for over 6 years. Grounded Livermore is serving some of the best espresso drinks. I was lucky enough to work close by. I also like that they happen to use Proyecto Diaz for their drip- who I believe source a lot of their coffee from Mexico. They have sign up that says worth the U-Turn, and I agree. While on the road, early into our 2.5 hour drive needed to make it to our destination, my 5yo let out a cry needing to immediately go to the bathroom. As luck would have it, Grounded was the most promising location. With her happily able to empty her little bladder, I made the decision to grab me a much needed jolt of caffeine since I was already here. I placed my order for the [November Special] Vietnamese Cold Brew with Ube Cold Foam. 12oz seemed to be the largest size offered and will set you back about 7 bucks, pre tipping. Coffee is made to order so it did take a bit of time due to the heavy flow of patrons. Coffee didn't exactly give me Vietnamese coffee vibes but was delicious nonetheless. What a little gem that's been right around the corner all this time! I went for the first time today on my lunch break and ordered the burrata salad. OMGeee--it was SO good!! Very warm, inviting staff, great coffee (including matcha done the right way with a real bowl scale etc.) and lots of things for kids of all ages- from Dr. Seuss books to board games. Had the cortado for myself and my toddler got a steamed milk, which they were happy to make and also checked back a few times to make sure that the temperature was correct. I wanted to check out a different coffee shop in Livermore, so I did a Google search and found Grounded. Admittedly it was off the beaten path and took me to an area I've never been to, so it was cool exploring a new neighborhood. I pre-ordered their January specialty latte called the "Biscoffee" latte. Appreciated the customizations available through their online POS by the way. You could really make any kind of latte under the sun with all the flavors and syrups they had. They also offered a wide selection of alternative milks. I was pleasantly surprised that my latte wasn't overly sweet. When I grabbed my drink at the counter, I couldn't not notice the display case of their giant cookies. I got a mint chocolate chip cookie. The flavor was OK. Wish it had a more prominent mint flavor. The texture was not what I expected. It's really dense and hard, and you could throw it at someone like a rock. The cookie was loaded with chocolate chips though. I hung out at Grounded for a couple of hours to take a few work calls, and it was an ideal place for remote work. They have speedy wi-fi, offered USB-C cords for charging, and had an entire power strip where I could plug in multiple electronics.
