They have many boxes and bags to be able to get a nice gift for friends or family. You take the tray at the front of the store and use their tongs to grab what you want. Then you take the tray to the cash register and pay, and they will package it up nicely for you. The food was delicious and our family loved trying all the baked items we got. Went to this place twice in a week. Once I got the caramel Bouquet in a small size and one medium sized strawberry lychee cake. Both were delicious. Caramel bouquet felt a little bit dry. And on the pricey side for a small cake. Service was excellent. It was quick and very polite. They offered a knife and candles and matches with each cake. Ambiance was a relaxed cafe vibe. The store was clean. We also got some espresso shots and they were piping hot and great to taste. Stopped at Tous Les Jours on a whim on a Friday evening, and it turned out to be one of the best (and worst!) decisions I've ever made! Best decision for so many reasons. Reason #1: every tasty treat we tried was a perfect 10! Not only were the flavors of each item perfection, but so were the textures and of course the feelings of happiness they left us with. Reason #2: the variety! Despite the fact that it was close to closing time when we arrived , there was still an amazing selection to choose from. As the foodie that I am, I honestly can't remember the last time I walked into a bakery that late in the day and they still had so many choices. Walking into Tous Les Jours feels like stepping into a little world of its own, where happiness is served in the form of food. There's something exciting about seeing all the beautiful pastries displayed in the cases and deciding what you're going to try. You pick out your own treats with tongs, place them on a tray, and somehow convince yourself that you definitely need just one more. Which brings me to why stopping here was also one of the worst decisions I've ever made: I now know this place exists, and I won't be able to stop coming back for more. Hello, stretchy pants! We used to get cake from the Livermore location since the store was opened and were always happy with the cakes but today when we got strawberry cloud cake, it was nowhere near to the quality that we used to get. The icing was dense , flaky not at all cloudy. The cake looked very old, cheap and not at par with the franchise's quality. Worst of all we found a long strand of hair inside the cake. Just yikees. I found it to be decent in taste but not memorable. Tours Les Jours is a chain bakery serving French-Asian pastries. The cafe reminds me of other chain bakeries such as 85°, Paris Baguette, and Sheng Kee. This location is bright and clean. The items available vary as some were well stocked while others were not. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside there are several tables for pairs or small groups. We opted to sit outside since we had my puppy. I found the service to be a bit aloof. The worker helping me didn't quite register my order or know what to do. Another worker swooped efficiently and had my drink out in a pinch. Overall, ordering should be straightforward--pick your items then go to the register and pay. There are both pastry and drink options, as well as cakes. For my Dad, I got him a Garlic Sausage Block, Elotes Pastry, Almond Croissant, and Red Bean Donut. Companion got us a Croissant and Kimchi Croquette. We split those and I found the croissant to be buttery but not too flaky or fresh. Better than other chain places though. The kimchi croquette was spicy, and savory, and reminded us of a Chinese stir fry in a fried dough. I also got an Iced Ube Latte with Soy Milk to drink. This drink and others were listed under the tea section but there's no caffeine, which might be misleading to some. I could taste the ube and it was a good drink. I'm not sure if I'd order these items again, but glad we could try them! Craving a quick drinks or pastry? Tous Les Jours can satisfy that. I tried to find an email for the store so I could reach out privately, but unfortunately there is none. I was very disappointed with my recent purchase. I paid $42 (after tax) for a cheesecake, and when I cut into it, it completely crumbled apart. Instead of the smooth, creamy texture I expect from cheesecake, it was dry, cakey, and impossible to serve properly (see photos). When I picked up the cake, I asked the younger employee, "Was this your traditional cheesecake? Traditional cheesecakes usually don't have anything on top and come with a graham cracker crust." She replied that sometimes they add a glaze on top when cakes come out overcooked. That was concerning! Especially since I could clearly see other slices of cheesecakes in the display without glaze, which is what I thought I had ordered. I felt hesitant to leave with the cake, but with my husband's birthday being celebrated in just a few hours, I felt I had to. For $42, I expected a high-quality cheesecake. Instead, I got something dry, crumbly, and clearly not up to standard. I would love to try the place again because the ambiance was nice and the store is beautiful, but they really need to work on the quality with that price point. I would love for a manager to reach out so we can come to a resolution and possibly a retry! *I edited my review because I realized the typo! She saw us but didn't even say hi, or welcome in, or can I help you, just nothing. It takes 2 seconds! She was dressed like a manager too...or maybe she wasn't the manager but she had brunette hair w/blonde highlights at the front. The breads all looked tasty and pretty. I was pleased to see they offered a variety of croissants. The almond croissant looked really good with all the shaved almond slices, but upon eating it, it was very dense, and a bit tough. not flakey or soft at all like you'd expect from a croissant. My lavender latte was a bit bitter, not sure what kind of lavender syrup they used. The feta & spinach thingy was tasty. the cheese garlic bread was also tasty. It didn't There was barely enough strawberry cake and filling to balance out all the thick layer of whipped cream. I couldn't even taste the mascapone. Every bite was literally a mouth full of whipped cream, with maybe a few crumbs of strawberry cake. It would be classified more as a mousse but no strawberry flavor to even call it that either. The decoration was bad, just a few pieces of sliced strawberries, a Happy Birthday chocolate plaque, some berries. Why it was called a tiramisu when there was no espresso, no lady finger, hardly any mascopone cheese, or liquor at all. Really disappointed in the whipped cream cake that was close to $50. I had a Croissant with Egg, Cheese and Bacon that was outstanding. My Hazelnut Coffee was amazing (they have almond milk YAY)! First visit mid afternoon on a Saturday before Easter. Counter was busy with takeout pastries but plenty of seating for wife and I. We split a packaged tuna salad sandwich & blueberry pastry. We also took a small tiramisu for our Easter Day dessert. Both the pastry and tuna sandwich were tasty & fresh. I also had a small pumpkin spice latte which was just okay not great (could have been hotter). We were pleasantly surprised of various self serve pastries in the cafe. I loved this little French-Asian fusion style bakery. It reminds me of Paris Baguette or a Sheng Kee. It is similar to Sheng Kee or other Asians in the self-service aspect. You grab a tray and tongs and pick what you'd like yourself from the display cases. There are also cakes in the front. There are also pre packed rolls in a small refrigerated section. Very cute and clean decor. There is a lot of seating indoors and a restroom in the back right corner. What makes this place stand out is the drinks. They have an ube latte and a ube coconut drink. Those are made to order at the front. I liked the ube latter more than the ube coconut drink. The ube coconut drink was very coconut and didn't taste very ube although it had the vivid purple color. We got the strawberry and cream croissant, the French ham and cheese sandwich, a matcha roll, mango donuts, red bean pastry, and a couple more I forgot the name of. I'd say yes to the donuts and skip the croque monsieur. The boxed rolls should be consumed within 2 days of opening and need to stay refrigerated. I would love to come back and try more. read more
