    Cupcakes
    Mona A.

Got some cupcakes delivered form this spot for loved ones, they had a box of 6 that had chocolate, vanilla and red velvet. I am deducting one star as I wish they offered an option to order your own flavors (aka all red velvets or 3 vanilla and 3 red velvet). But the loved ones loved them so it was good. Haven't tried this location in person, will update the review when I do get a chance to try it one day and will comment on service and ambience the n.

Great service. Beautiful Cakes, Pastries, Pies and other yummies, even dog treats. We kept it simple. English Muffins, Dog Treats, Chocolate Eclair and a Sticky Bun. Always the biggest challenge is trying not to buy everything!

    Cookies!

I forgot to take a pic of the actual cookie I had but I tried the Cowboy cookie from here! It was an oatmeal cookie with chocolate and butterscotch chips and walnuts. It was super rich and buttery and it was a pretty thin cookie which was nice. I devoured it in 5 bites! I liked how crispy the cookie was as well. I would love to try one of her cakes in the future :)

    Pistachio Cannoli

After dinner at an Italian restaurant, we decided to go for a short walk and happened to come across this bakery by chance. Once inside, the desserts on display immediately caught our eye. They all looked absolutely beautiful. We decided to try a cannoli and chose the pistachio one. It was incredible: very fresh, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced. We loved it. We will definitely come back to this bakery, especially making a point to stop by whenever we're in Pleasanton.

Awesome selection of pastries. I got the almond one and it was delicious. Staff very friendly and the store was beautifully decorated. Great place to get cakes and pastries in downtown Pleasanton.

Primrose is our family's go to place for baked goods. They have great selection of cookies, muffins, canollis, cakes, croissants, & anything in between. I just wish they had more seating area to savor the yummy goodness of each moment. (lol) Each delicious items are uniquely cater to those who loves coffee, like myself who just want a little treat to enjoy with every sip. I would definitely recommend Primrose to friends and family, and to those who wants to elevate your day to the next level.

Slice of sweet potato pie with a dollop of freshly whipped cream
    Girish B.

The sweet potato pie was a pleasant change from the chocolate pie we're used to having every year for Thanksgiving. The crust (sidewall) was great but the one at the bottom kind of blended in with the pie. We had some whipped cream to go with it which really added to the flavor...not sure if we'll try it again next year though...we'll see.

Blueberry Frangipane, Mini Pecan Pie, Pistachio Cannoli

I have been wanting to come here for awhile. So glad I was able to check this off now. They are known for their pastries. Ordered their popular frangipane, pistachio cannoli and pecan pie. Also tried their coffee. It was pretty good to my surprise. I ordered their white chocolate raspberry latte. It gave off a strong raspberry flavor with a good balance of caffeine (medium roast). If you like bold dark roast, you may want to ask them to add another half shot. The frangipane has nice almond taste with light to medium cream texture. The pecan pie tart was a little on the dry side though. They don't fill it with the typical heavy caramelized coating which is a good thing for health conscious pecan pie lover.

I dropped in Thursday morning, 9-25-2025, to check if they had any seasonal items. They offer a pumpkin chai latte, pumpkin pie latte, pumpkin muffin, and a pumpkin croissant. The croissant had just came out of the oven, so it was warm and oh do delicious. The croissant was topped with powdered sugar and pumpkin seeds, the pumpkin filling was sweet and had a flaky crust.

Trio- Chocolate Cannoli, Chocolate Éclair, Tiramisu Mini Cake
    Audreanna S.

Stopped in on Valentines Day. Great ambiance and service. Individuals working were efficient, welcoming, and kind. Overall the deserts were great! Loved the cannoli, no notes. I wish the chocolate eclair was entirely custard instead of half custard half whipped cream. I was disappointed with the tiramisu, while the cake was delicious, it was missing the espresso I was so craving. Would recommend to others, and will be back, hopefully with more espresso in the tiramisu!

We got the buttercream bread, sweet rice donut, chocolate cloud cake, milk cornet, and the strawberry milk bread. For drinks we got the red velvet hot cocoa and the caramel macchiato. The buttercream bread was my absolute favorite out of the bunch. The butter cream wasn't too sweet and the bread was sooo soft. The ratio of cream to bread was just right, so each bite of bread had a sweet balance of the fluffy cream. The sweet rice donut was okay. To be, it could have been more softer, but it was expected for it to go stale a little bit since it's been out lying for a while. Some things are just unavoidable. The chocolate cloud cake was really good, but there was so much cream. Unlike the buttercream bread, there was imbalance here, but I adored the giant strawberries sandwiched between the cream. The consistency of the actual cake was perfect though, because sometimes I know it can get really soggy from the cream. Next time I would give another cake a try instead. The milk cornet was great! Tried it out because it seemed really popular; there was only one left. This pastry like a croissant stuffed with milky cream. The cornet was perfectly crunchy and the milk cream wasn't too sweet. Next time, I want to give the blueberry version a try. The strawberry milk bread impressed me. It was super soft, and I like how there was a really small amount of cream. Like, I understood what the cream was trying to do there. One bite of just bread would be pretty dry, but a little bit of cream can help smooth things out but still keep the spotlight on the bread. The red velvet hot cocoa drink was what surprised me the most. I suppose this drink is Valentines day edition, so it's not always here. I was so surprised when I opened the lid and saw hot pink foam! Like, DANG! Tous les jours really went out of their way to give us a sip of Valentines day! This drink is on the sweeter end, though. A friend said that the caramel macchiato was just okay, nothing surprising or impressive about it. I guess it was a safe order. The baristas were really efficient with our drinks; both drinks took five minutes or less! I love the interior of this bakery. So cute yet so easygoing. Perfect ambiance for catching up with some girlfriends!

When that happens, I have to give them kudos because at some places, the changes are so subtle they're almost meaningless. The drinks were OK, and they did the job on a a cold and rainy morning. As for the pastries, they were just OK. I've had better at other bakeries (and other branches of this same company), and with the plethora of options around for baked goods, you can find better. With that being said, it may just have been the couple of choices we had for food. The ube filled baked good was not very good, but I say that as an ube fiend. I have ube a lot, including back in the motherland. It was more like taro than ube, when it came to taste. As for the quantity, there wasn't a lot of it either. The actually bread part was soft and nice, and it was pretty. The egg tarts weren't the best. They left something to be desired. I would suggest getting something else. Maybe we made the wrong choices this time at 85, because I've definitely had better baked goods at their other locations.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
