I stumbled across this bakery 2 days before Christmas, and I am So happy I did! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Considering the timing you would expect tired employees , not here. They even welcomed my daughter and her puppy in out of the cold. I purchased a harvest pie, cannoli's and Holiday petit for. All were delicious!! I ordered a custom birthday cake from this bakery and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I placed the order online and uploaded a Ferrari image to be included on the cake. The sweet potato pie was a pleasant change from the chocolate pie we're used to having every year for Thanksgiving. The crust (sidewall) was great but the one at the bottom kind of blended in with the pie. We had some whipped cream to go with it which really added to the flavor...not sure if we'll try it again next year though...we'll see. read more

We toddled In around 8pm. My black forest cake was decadent and delicious,v with plenty of whipped cream. I liked my friend's fig topped cake, too. It was really velvety. Also tried their coffee. It was pretty good to my surprise. I ordered their white chocolate raspberry latte. It gave off a strong raspberry flavor with a good balance of caffeine (medium roast). If you like bold dark roast, you may want to ask them to add another half shot. The frangipane has nice almond taste with light to medium cream texture. The pecan pie tart was a little on the dry side though. They don't fill it with the typical heavy caramelized coating which is a good thing for health conscious pecan pie lover. read more

They are the perfect balance of chewy and soft. Oatmeal raisin cookies aren't even my go-to cookie, but I'm obsessed with these. Their bakery in downtown Pleasanton is adorable. I wish the chocolate eclair was entirely custard instead of half custard half whipped cream. This place should be under the Controlled Substances Act. Everything I've had here, and it's a fair number of things, is anywhere from very good to AYFKM. Service has always been good, some friendlier than others but that's to be expected. Ambiance is irrelevant to me add a bakery, but it's always clean and nicely organized. We were able to snag street parking right in front. Went inside and was warmly greeted. Very pleasantly surprised that they had a few gluten free options that were clearly marked! I decided to go with the hazelnut chocolate cookie with a cup of tea and it did not disappoint! It's very possible the other (non-vegan) items are tasty, however, this was not my experience. Got the German Chocolate Mini Cake from Primrose. First off, did not realize it was $15.65 before tax, for essentially the size of a slice of cake. Even the most expensive boutique patisseries in the South Bay Area charge 1/2 to 1/3 of the price. The chocolate cake itself was so dry it tasted like ash. The topping was overly sweet. The first time we came here, it was genuinely enjoyable. I don't remember exactly what we ordered, but we tried 7+ items and most of them were solid--we left with a good impression overall. We stopped by again today hoping to relive that experience, but unfortunately, it didn't hold up. We ordered the red velvet cheesecake, tres leches cake, princess cake, raspberry and chocolate raspberry hamantashen, maple bourbon eclair, and rhubarb pie. This time? Yikes--we couldn't finish any of them. Most items tasted bland or felt like they weren't fresh. It left us wondering if they had been sitting out for a while. It's possible that timing matters--we came on a Saturday last time, and maybe the freshness or quality is better earlier in the weekend. Some bakeries separate their items based on when they were baked, and that kind of transparency could make a big difference.
