Chip Cookies is one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving a gourmet cookie. I've been to multiple locations and the Dublin store is bright, clean, and has a simple, welcoming vibe. My favorite is still the OG Chip, and I love that you can customize it with different toppings. My usual combo is condensed milk, crushed peanuts, and sometimes a scoop of ice cream when my sweet tooth is really calling. It's so good. Another great option is the Chip Flip Box. Perfect for sharing with friends and family, gifting, or honestly just keeping for yourself lol. Service during my visit at Dublin location was great, staff were helpful and fast, he also let us know that they had a promotion where you could add two scoops of vanilla ice cream for just $1 extra. I'm a self proclaimed cookie monster so I was excited to pop in for a little post lunch dessert. I am usually not a fan of places that make cookies all fancy for the 'gram/photo ops, I'd rather just have a good cookie. They've got plain cookies here, you can dress them up with frosting and toppings, you can have an ice cream sandwich- I like the variety. I always go with the chocolate chip as a baseline and my wife got the Biscoff chip. Chocolate chip was decent, I felt it could have used more chocolate chips. A little crunch when you bite but still soft on the inside. The Biscoff chip was SUPER raw on the inside, still pretty much like goo. I took it back in and asked the employee if it was supposed to be that way. She said it wasn't and gave me a new cookie. That cookie was baked properly and I liked that one better than the chocolate chip. At $4.95 per, a little pricey, but they are big. read more

We got a box of Chip Cookies for Christmas. I have a sweet tooth and love cookies, crunchy, chewy or soft. We had a couple of OG cookies and a couple of the Biscoff cookies. The cookies are fat so they are soft and decent size, not overly sweet. I liked both the OG cookie and Biscoff cookies. The chocolate chips had a nice semi-sweet chocolate flavor and the white chocolate chips were sweet. The cookies had about the right number of Chips, not too many and not too sparse. Decent amount of chips in every bite. We plan to drop in and visit a Chip Cookies Shop to look at the cookies along with trying some different flavors. As a fellow Cookie Monster, I was looking forward to trying this place after seeing there was a Yelp Elite event for it a couple of months ago. Chip Cookies has a very open and slightly modern look interior. The menu is on the wall with the list of cookies & their descriptions being on the table. Prices are a bit high with one cookie being $4.50, but they are pretty dense / huge! Their standard items include: OG, Boneless, Cocoa, and Semisweet. They also have a surprise cookie of the week, which this week was Red Velvet Snowball (red velvet and white chocolate). Their special here is that you can add a drizzle or customize your cookies for an $1. There's toppings to choose from like chocolate chips, sprinkles, and nuts. You can also do a pizookie situation or ice cream sandwich. We got a box that comes with 4 of your own options (2 OGs and 2 Cocoa) and the Red Velvet Snowball. We opted for a Nutella drizzle on our Cocoa cookie and man that was giving chocolate galore LOL. The Red Velvet Snowball wasn't super rich and was a bit more crunchier than the other cookies. Their cookies definitely have presence as it's pretty dense and like tall height wise. The exterior is crunchy with the inside being gooey. It also comes warm! Chip has been open for a while, so I decided to try it out this past week! On the night my boyfriend and I came, the workers there (I think one was the owner) were very kind and welcoming! The interior is well-lit, minimalistic, and pretty! It seems like there's space for them to set up chairs and tables, though, and none have been placed. It makes for somewhat of an awkward, open space on one side of the lobby, but it definitely didn't take away from the charm. We both got custom chipzookies, (which are 20% on Tuesdays) which were great! The ice cream they use, though, is pretty dense, and I think only one scoop is sufficient unless you like dense treats. I'm not entirely sold on spending $5 for one cookie, but they were good! Dense, thick in the middle, and sweet without being overly decadent! read more

Cookies with add on's?! Um,yes please. Chip cookies is similar to Crumble cookie...only better. They have the option to add ice cream over your warm cookie. I believe the only flavor option is vanilla. You also can add different sprinkles, hot fudge, or Carmel. As you can see, I went a little crazy, lol! Met up with the infamous Yelp Elite George F to pick up complimentary cookies. I purchased a Chip Flip Box (4 cookies, plus 2) of the basic chocolate chip. For me, that's usually a good indicator if one does a good cookie. I would say Chip Cookies does it well. Hefty cookie but with a lightly crisp and delicate exterior yet buttery and chewy which was different. I prefer a soft cookie with a nice balance of semi-sweet chocolate without it being cloyingly sweet and this cookie delivered. As far as cookie chains, I would rate them in my Top 3 for the basic chocolate chip cookie to satisfy the sweet cravings. Decent cookie joint. I came once to the Sacramento location. This place is similar to the Sac one. The shop appears to be clean, and a clear selection of their weekly cookies. I got the sea salt chocolate chip cookie (I think that's what it was called) with a drizzle of caramel sauce and it was good. Mine came out fresh out of the oven so it was super warm, and gooey. I like fresh baked cookies though. My one thing I would add if they can include milk alternatives like soy milk, or even 2%. We ordered the brown sugar, OG chocolate chip, sea salt chocolate chip, sugar cookie, and the Oreo one. The best flavor we tried was the sea salt chocolate chip. The rest of the cookies were overly sweet. The bakery is clean and easy to order, although the staff didn't really seem to know how their rewards program/app works. Been wanting to check out this cookie spot for a while, and I'm so glad I did! Went on a Sunday afternoon and my partner and I were the only customers there. It's a cute and clean cookie spot in the same plaza as Safeway. We walked in and the worker was attentive and asked if we had been there before. We said no, and she promptly explained the process of picking a cookie base and adding your own toppings or choosing one of the popular flavors. I like this concept more than crumble, it's customizable. We tried the chocolate chip, tres leches, Oreo dunk, and a day old chocolate cookie. Each one was soooo good. Our favorite was the tres leche cookie, it's exactly like the cake with whip cream on top. The cookie was moist and soft just how I like them. The Oreo dunk was also very good just wished it came with white chocolate chips or chocolate chips inside. The chocolate chip cookie was standard, nothing crazy but again very soft and chewy. The day old chocolate cookie we had did not taste a day old. It was still soft and moist like the other ones and for $3, it's a steal! Finally got to stop by and check out Chip. Personally I am not a huge fan of Crumbl since it's too sweet and taste raw majority of the time. Back in my days I had Mrs. Fields cookies and Tollhouse at the mall. Chips felt more like homemade scrumptious cookies. Ordering was easy since there's a display of the flavors available. You tell them what you want and they grab them fresh and warm and box them for you. I opted for the box of 4 for $18.50. OG, Cabury Egg, Biscoff, and Cocoa. Cookies were fresh and warm and definitely not as sweet as Crumbl. I really enjoy Chip Cookies but cookies were different sizes and thickness. Some taste a bit undercooked too. The edges were nice and crispy and then gooey towards the middle. The Cabury Egg, Biscoff, and OG was my favorite. Chocolate was creamy and semi sweet. The cocoa was mid and was quite boring. I definitely will come back and try out the other flavors. Store was clean and spacious and the workers were friendly. Parking was easy and not too bad this evening. There is also take and bake available and also $3 cookies that are 2 days old. They date them and they were still good. You can warm them up for a few seconds to bring them back to life. read more

Was driving down Dublin Blvd and randomly saw a sign for free cookies. So... followed the sign and saw there was a grand opening for Chip Cookies! Downloaded their app and got a free cookie. Super late review but it is better late than never! Seen advertisements of this place on my social media so I had to try it. I went on opening day couple weeks back. The service was great. The front staff were really helpful and I was unaware that they were giving away free cookies the whole day. I came towards the end of the night. The ambiance was nice. I really liked the light fixture they had inside of the store of the logo and such. Now it's time for the cookies. The cookies were delicious. Very rich in sweetness. Definitely needed some milk for all the cookies I bought. The cookies were delicious hot and soft just the way I like it. I overall give this place a solid 4/5 star review. Found Chip Cookies through a prior Yelp event and had to come back! The cookies are served warm and ultra gooey but aren't overly sweet. My favorites so far are the SW Chip and Biscoff. I was disappointed to learn that the "specials" box I had purchased my first time in wasn't a normal offering. (Nothing at the time had indicated it was event specific.) It was basically a mystery box of cookies that weren't necessarily offered fresh that day. With that being said, they do also sell "day old" cookies that you can purchase up near the register. With the cookies being served warm, it would be great to see a couple of small tables offered for the freshest bite, but as of right now it's grab and go. read more

The bf and I saw this place randomly and we decided to stop by. I wanted to like this place because the lady/manager(?) who was assisting us was just so nice. But I was left sad because I was really disappointed in the quality. The set up is that we can get just their cookies, cookies with toppings and/or I think ice cream sandwiches with their cookies. We ended up getting the box of 4 to sample their offerings. We got the OG, the boneless, the SW cookie and the cocoa. All the cookies were underbaked. Not sure if that was what they were going for but super underbaked is not for me. All the cookies, I think are the same batter recipe just different fillings. Please do not get the boneless it was literally just a chocolate chip cookie recipe without the chocolate chips. Not to be a snob but you have to change the recipe if you're making a plain cookie. I guess people get jazzed for extra toppings but it was just basic toppings being offered. Overall not impressed for a price tag of $4.95 per cookie. Very clean and modern interior design.
