Best donuts in town! Rode my bike here the other day, and was delighted by their maple donut selection - and they were open on Easter!

Came inside after calling to see if they accept debit card. It appears the same person who answered the phone is the one who was at the register. I walked in joyous, saying hello I just called but no response. Shortly after, a co worker entered and I asked her if she wanted anything. I looked back up at the gentleman and said hello, (noticing he didn't speak the first time) he gave a straight face as if he wanted me to order. My co worker immediately objected and said she wanted nothing from this place, so we didn't order. I did see a nat on a glaze twist, but other than that they looked pretty slow, no customers, clean on the inside but the kid who answered was on the phone sitting at the back table. Over all, I would say do better with your customer service. read more

Went in around noon on a weekday. I didn't see the usual donuts I like to get which are original glazed, I also didn't see any maple glazed so I just assumed I came too late. I instead got two glazed French donuts and when I came home the two donuts were soggy, and totally tasted like oil. I assume from sitting in the display all morning, I figured it might have tasted better fresh in the morning. I want to give them to benefit of the doubt but at $6 for two donuts it was disappointing considering the cost. read more

First time trying this donut place while waiting for take out from Relo's. It was noon on Easter Sunday. I think they were opened until noon but they didn't kick me out! I just got one chocolate old fashioned donut to try! I love old fashioned donut since I don't like those OG ones. Usually old fashioned donuts are hard. But this one is quite soft! At first , I was surprised by the texture. I was expecting the usual hard texture. But the more I ate it, the more I loved it. The softness made it taste fresher! I haven't had a good donut in a minute, then came here! I was so excited to have a fluffy donut that I couldn't even wait to take pictures! This donut shop is so old school in the best of ways. Classic donuts and at still (which is hard in 2024) a decent price! We tried the old fashioned, Glaze donuts, Chocolate Glaze, and the apple fritter. After visiting another establishment nearby, I had to try this place's donuts. My weakness is for chocolate old fashion donuts. Usually around 11 am, donut selection can be slim. I this case, they had my old fashion donuts that's all I need to know. LOL. Two, please. Reasonably priced, two donuts for $3.50. I'm good. The donut was fresh, doughy and chocolaty as it should be. DO-NUTS!!! Love this little mom and pop shop! The donuts are consistently delicious. They close their doors when they're sold out for the day, so I try to get there early. I also like that they're peanut-free, which makes it safe for my family to eat at. There is a large seating area indoors, which is a surprise, though I've always taken my box of goodies to go. (This way no one will judge me when I shove multiple donuts into my mouth in an impressively short span of time! Our donut spot! We moved to Dublin this year and had a donut spot that we grew up with so we definitely wanted a new spot. We tried a few spots in the area, but they either didn't have variety or ran out, but not Jonny's Donuts. When we come here they always have donuts and still have a wide selection. Do note THEY'RE CLOSED MONDAYS. We walked in one morning at like 9am and they were making more fresh donut, like come'on! There's never a long line and perfect place for being able to literally quickly grab donuts. I have seen a donut cake here before on some days, but other than that they got you covered with all the traditional donuts. I will say they don't really have the cute seasonal ones but that's ok in my book since when I'm craving donuts I look for the traditional ones. I had heard about Johnny's and their rolls. Yup! Delicious Cinnamon Roll. Not heavy or greasy. A nice coating of sugar on the outside and mild cinnamon on the inside. Tried three things from this place: - buttermilk donut: if you look at the picture, this is the one that almost has a football shape. This donut, although looking pretty amazing, was surprisingly flavorless. It didn't have much of flavor profile whatsoever. It was perplexing and a little disappointing. - sour cream donut: this was a sour cream cake donut. In the picture, it's the one in a ring shape. Similar to the buttermilk one, this one turned out to be disappointing as well. I've tried so many other sour cream donuts and this one was just lacking in flavor compared to the others I've tried. - apple fritter: this one was better compared to the offer two I got, but I've had better apple fritters from elsewhere. I moved here 2 years ago and just discovered this donut shop to get my handsome boyfriend a sweet pick me up. Awesome this place is within walking distance from my house but also dangerous because these donuts are pretty amazing. So fluffy and big. My boyfriends favorite is a maple bar and he said it was Amazing. We love a good Apple fritter and they did not disappoint. It was a pretty close runner up to our all time favorite Apple Hill fritter but this will suffice when Apple Hill is closed for the season. Best part is this place is so close and I can walk!!
