I have been wanting to visit this spot for a while now!! Loved the treats we picked out. Dark chocolate and Milk Chocolate covered bacon, milk chocolate covered strawberry, and vanilla bean affogato. The covered bacon was ready in display but the strawberry needed a few minutes to be made. While waiting we enjoyed the affogato, tried the bacon, and took selfies. They are located in a bit of a tight area but manageable. Close to other businesses and I believe some living units above. I've always missed out on visits here because they are closed Sundays but we ended up having a Saturday open up of us passing through. I would love to make an order in the future and make sure to visit again soon My nickname when I was young was Mimi which made me want to check them out but with the yummy treats makes me wanna come back. I added them in my more than once folder I love their decor inside and that their back area where they made our strawberry has windows to view them put it together. I looooooove small businesses and on top of that woman owned and poc owned. Such a cute place with ice cream and all of the chocolate desserts you could ever want in your life. We went in for the ice cream but ended up eating a caramel apple and it was oh so delicious. It took practically all of my willpower not to buy all of the different brownie flavors too. Th five star reviews speak for themselves. I saw their unique ice cream nachos on their IG page and reels and was curious to try it. Also it definitely feels good to support local and family owned business in this unapologetic ice cream and sugary treat industry. Fads come and go like Dubai chocolate and pumpkin spice but the chocolates and ice cream market is here to stay and is strong against for instance a bad economy. Chocolate has a big part in our life our celebrations etc for sure . First time I met Mimi and she was very hospital and patient . I had a ton of time to decide because there was absolutely no line and I got parking right away. The smell of caramel just freshly made was euphoric. The establishment is very clean and setup real well. I ordered the ice cream nachos with mint and chip (my all time favorite ) with another banana comb flavor and it was very tasty. The price is decent too- no super high Disneyland prices here. They have brownies, caramel apples, chocolate covered bacon for the indulgence person . Popped in by chance and discovered the magic that is Mimi's chocolates! I got a caramel apple and my daughter got a chocolate w/ sprinkles dipped marshmallow. The ice cream taco is worth a visit my family and I are regulars here and I must say these tacos are fantastic. The waffles have a perfect crunch and hold their shape well, these don't completely fall apart. These were so good I was half way into one and almost forgot to take a photo . This little sweet shop is a true hidden gem, and you honestly can't go wrong with anything here. We tried two of their gourmet candy apples--a s'mores and a toffee. That s'mores apple? I could eat it again and again. Gooey, chocolatey, crunchy perfection. The toffee one was amazing too--rich, buttery, and balanced--but that s'mores combo just hit different. Every apple is next-level, no exaggeration. We also brought home a piece of dark chocolate-covered bacon and a milk chocolate s'more--and OMG, both were absolute bombs of flavor. Sweet, salty, crunchy, indulgent--everything you want in a treat. But the apples are the star! The shop itself has such a fun, welcoming vibe. I was craving a Carmel apple, so we went to Mimi's. There were several options available. After eliminating those with nuts my options were apple pie, strawberry shortcake, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate. I chose to go with a dark chocolate apple. In addition to the dark chocolate, there was also white chocolate on it. The apple was a crispy, Granny Smith. On top of it was a thick coating of caramel sauce, followed by a hard shell of dark chocolate with a white chocolate swirl. They cut it for me and put it in a container and bag. First I'll say the staff are great, they made the choco covered strawberries for me fresh in store due to having a large order earlier in the day which I greatly appreciated! The apples , are always soo deliciousious no matter what flavor I try and are great for sharing. My fav items are the s'mores, the ice cream and the choco covered Rice Krispies. My daughter and I purchased a s'mores caramel apple at a pop-up they had at the Anthropologie store in Walnut Creek. While we agreed it didn't give our tastebuds the real s'mores vibe (there was no milk or dark chocolate), the flavors were amazing! The caramel was gooey and buttery, the white chocolate was excellent, and the graham crumbs coating the outside were crunchy and delicious. The real star was the marshmallow cream, which we found out is made in-house. Divine! We live close to Dublin (where their store is located) and will definitely drop in to try other flavors of their apples and any other goodies they sell. read more

It has some fun things for kids like a Barbie Box prop for pictures and squish mellows. The shop feels local ran by nice people. I made the mistake of not getting one of the caramel apples-my daughter kindly gave me a slice of hers after we left. I found myself going back to Mimi's to get my own! You get the idea! This place is not to be missed-and great to support a woman owned small business. I had a great experience here! What a pleasant atmosphere and attentive people to serve each customer. I had heard about Mimi's on FB and absolutely couldn't wait to try it: artisanal chocolates, close to home and lots of chocolates. What's not to love?! To find out that it's a minority and woman owned business and I was sold! Lots of great and varied options. We bought the caramel chocolate marshmallow, the chocolate Rice Krispie Treat and a caramel pretzel rod. All were so delicious. Items were well priced and worth the cost. To compare: most items offered at Mimi's cost far less than any single cookie at Crumbl. And Mimi's chocolate items were much more delicious. Can't wait to come back!!! read more

I moved to Dublin last month and just happened to find this amazing sweet shop around the corner from my new house. We have already stopped in at least 6 times and my family that lives in other cities asks that I bring them caramel apples when I visit. The customer service is top tier and the treats are consistently delicious. To top it off the store is super cute! When I asked Mimi about peanuts (because my son has an allergy) she was super on top of her protocol and I felt safe letting him try one of the products she recommended. So my friend kept telling me that I should come to this place and I finally made it. It's tucked in an entry way to get to an apt complex, you could miss it if you're not paying attn. There are tables inside to sit, a cute backdrop to take pictures, and my favorite part is the see-through window they have where you can watch them make the treats! I ordered the banana pudding ice cream: MY GOODNESS! It is SO good! The flavor, the texture, it's not overly sweet or banana-y. I literally started writing this review half way through my baby scoop. Only regret is I should have gotten a bigger scoop! I also ordered the turtle brownie which has pecans inside and caramel on top, as well as chocolate covered strawberries. This review is for their chocolate delivery only. Received a ring on our doorbell and to my surprise it was a smiling chocolatier with a bag full of treats. The bag was nicely labeled and carefully stapled. On this hot August afternoon everything was intact and nothing was melted. What was carefully and hand delivered was a huge Chocolate Caramel Apple with nuts, and a box full of chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels, and other treats. Nothing broken, not a nut knocked off. Mimi's does a crazy good job with Caramel and thick chocolate coating on their apples and pretzels. "Sweet People, Sweet Treats" The people who run this business might be the nicest people in the world. I visited on Valentine's Day Eve. I knew it would be busy but the nice owner, Mimi, explained the various chocolate delicacies they had for sale. Mimi was very patient with me as I asked lots of stupid questions. You can see the chocolate treats being made in a big window just to the right of the cash register. It was a lot of fun seeing the workers busily preparing the Valentine's Day treats. They also gave me free samples of ice cream. Mimi's Chocolates is sure to become one of my favorite go-to places. My wife and I both love chocolate.
