I've tried a few Dubai chocolates from Hanna's and honestly they're the best I've had. For me it really comes down to keeping the chocolate layer thin, not making it overly sweet, and being generous with the filling. I've tried other Dubai chocolates too, from Fix all the way to the ones at Costco, but I always pander back to Hanna's. The store itself is beautiful. It is a bit on the pricey side so I usually go for the smaller bars. That said, the price makes sense since, as I understand, the bars are handmade and poured. You pay for what you get! read more

They have a menu with all the flavors but it helps to have someone else recommend the popular or well-liked flavors and without nuts. I love coming to Hanna's Chocolates for gifts. I first came here for the Dubai chocolate bars but the truffles and matcha yuzu bar are my favorites. Their gelato is also delicious. Other items include various types of chocolate bars, chocolate covered gummy bears, chocolate covered oreos, and more treats. Their Easter offerings made great gifts. I went here strictly for the Dubai chocolate and they did not disappoint. There is an array of chocolate confections available, so of course I had to sample at least some of those goodies. Mini Dubai dark chocolate: this is a flavor and texture explosion! The slightly bitter dark chocolate went well with the velvety and nutty pistachio cream filling. I ate this in the car and had instant regret that I did not buy more of these or opt on getting the large size, 5/5 stars! Mini Dubai milk chocolate: same story on this treat, but the milk chocolate adds more sweetness and it was not overwhelming, 5/5 stars! Mini gourmet kit kat bar: this was indeed an elevated kit kat bar as the high-quality ingredients made it more enjoyable. The smooth and sweet chocolate with the crispy wafers are a nice combo, 4.5/5 stars. First off, it's so pretty with swirls of bright green mixed into the chocolate, its thick, and once you bite into it, there's that pistachio texture that makes this chocolate bar so special. Super cute chocolate shop and one of the few spots in the Bay where you can find really good Dubai chocolate. They have large bars for $35 and mini bars for $8, with options in white, milk, and dark chocolate. The quality is amazing - not overly sweet, thin outer chocolate shell and a rich filling on the inside. I tried the dark chocolate and it had the perfect balance of creaminess and crunch. The bonbons are also gorgeous, beautifully decorated and made with care. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I mentioned being worried about the chocolate melting on the way back because it was a hot day, and she immediately made a little ice pack for us to take home with the chocolate. She also told us the chocolate starts softening around 72°F, so really appreciated the extra thought. I was having lunch around the corner and noticed this shop. I'm always on the lookout for local handmade chocolates for the wife and decided to give it a try. One of the biggest complaints we have for many chocolate shops is that they tend to be overly sweet, especially by our asian palate standards. I'm happy to report that this place is "wife approved"(tm). The shop itself is in a shopping center with plenty of parking and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. I asked them for 6 of the most popular bon bon flavors to try out. It's fairly expensive ($22 for a box of 6 or $3.67 per bon bon) but since it's a local shop and artisan product, we're happy to support the business. Next time we're in town, I will definitely pick up a larger selection. Maybe next time, I'll be able to taste some as well lol read more

Wow just wow. After hearing the raves of Hanna's Chocolates from yelpers George F. and Cheryl M. I knew I wanted to get to the shop! So that weekend... off I went to Pleasanton. Not before calling to make sure there was some of their popular pistachio kunefa bars in store. Finding Hanna's was easy as it is located in a large strip mall with lots of parking. So happy I did! Greeted by the uber friendly and helpful Chunyan then Sylvia. I was so impressed with the service and all the extra touches both ladies gave assistance to customers, myself and a room full. If I had a store I would try to steal them away! They were that helpful and enthusiastic. Came in for the pistachio bars. Confused by all the beautiful chocolate creations. Walked out with kunefa and matcha yuzu and key lime bars and pistachio cranberry chocolate and stunning truffles and apparently some gelato too. Lol. Thank you Hanna for the gift of gelato. Checkin and purchase of at least $20 worth of treasures gets you a gift of the most delicious gelato. Make sure to checkin yelpers. I came on a weekday right when they opened and luckily they had some bars for sale . They also have a lot of other delicious chocolate options as well . I got a cookies and cream bar to try . Next time I will try there bon bons and the Twix bar. It was my first time trying the Dubai chocolate bar and I love this version of it !! Unfortunately, she enjoyed the other two from Walgreens and Safeway the most! She rated Hannah's her least favorite. She was shocked when I told her they're brands and prices. Hannah's shop was underwhelming, it is literally a table with dollar tree boxes and these high end chocolates inside the low budget boxes. I have seen better set ups from catering companies for corporate lunches, I was expecting a cute shop with simple shelf's or platters to showcase these small batch pieces. Maybe I built it up too big, hoping this review encourages a decent showcasing these chocolates deserve. I was in the area and knew I had to check out Hanna's Chocolates after seeing some great reviews. They are situated in a shopping plaza with ample parking. The shop itself is cute and clean, displaying all their products to see. Upon seeing their vast selection of chocolates, I was able to ask questions and their unique flavors. I ended up picking up a box of 4 truffles and the Twix bar to try. I also saw that if you check in on Yelp and make a $20+ purchase, you'll get free gelato! I had to go back to the store after seeing the offer and got my double scoop of hazelnut gelato- they are so generous with the portions. It was delicious and had a lot of delicious layers within each bite. I'd happily pay for this next time. As for the chocolates, they are extremely well made. The passion fruit dark truffle was probably my favorite along with the espresso dark truffle. I also went on a relatively hot day and was advised to take the bag with me as opposed to leaving it in the car and they all held up very well. So happy I was able to find the viral Dubai chocolate bar when I was visiting! The stars must have aligned because staff says usually there's a line out the door and sold out by the time I came (Saturday at 2pm). I was able to nab two bars (dark and white) this time and I think they limit it to 2 per customer. They are a little pricier at $35 a bar but each bar is .5lbs so they are hefty. They're not in the cases and they have to bring it out for you. Honestly when they were handed to me they were ALMOST too beautiful to eat... I say almost. Haha The bars were soooo decadent but if you love a good crunch and pistachio this is the bar for you. I was a fan more of the white chocolate flavor but it was a nice balance with the dark chocolate bar. Really wished they had a milk chocolate bar to try because that would be my happy medium. Overall, definitely more of a treat kind of bar but was worth it in my books. This review is a little late. I previously preordered the Dubai chocolate bar dupe aka the Pistachio Kanafeh Bar and was able to pick it up fairly quickly. I got the milk chocolate one and dark chocolate one. It was pretty hot outside when I picked it up and it was starting to melt while I tried the milk chocolate one in the car. I am not a fan of dark chocolate but I preferred the dark chocolate pistachio kanafeh bar over the milk chocolate one. The bars here look more professionally made compared to other places that are making it. It looks like now, they have suspended preorders and are making it first come first serve in stores. I've been craving the dark chocolate pistachio kanafeh bars. I also tried the yuzu matcha bar but it was too sour for my liking. There are also so many good looking chocolate bars and bon bons that I would like to try here as well. Will be back for more chocolate soon. read more

I came across Hanna's Chocolate from a post on TikTok regarding their Pistachio Kanafeh Bar. I ordered through their site and was able to pickup the bar the next day! I will say, I have not had this bar from anywhere else (this was my first time), but it was tasty. There was a slight crunch from the kanafeh and the bar itself was actually very soft. The bar itself was not too sweet either. While I was picking up the bar, we were offered a sample of their strawberry cheesecake gelato. This was surprisingly very tasty! Sweet & creamy and easy to eat. There were other flavors available as well, like cookies and cream. I discovered it through their dubai chocolate bar and tried their other chocolates, they were amazingly delicious I had to come back to buy them as gifts for my chocolate lover friend. I got a dozen bon bons which cost about $42. Before you scream at the price, they are definitely high quality made by a very talented chocolatier. Not only are the bon bons beautiful, but they have the right texture, shell size, and so many fun flavors to choose from. I tried their holidays specials, loved the cherry one! I also recommend their mini bars! The chocolate is so smooth and rich. Service is extremely friendly and attentive. They pay a lot of attention to detail! Parking is plentiful in a plaza.
