Five stars for the wonderful customer service and yummy ice cream! This dairy is an institution in the area. They have drive through as well as walk up available. I love that they change up the special flavors and you can get a cone or a cup. Shout out for the free pup cups with a specific purchase. Almost makes me wanna get a dog so we can enjoy together! This is hands down my favorite ice cream spot. I literally make the 25 min drive almost every week because it's that good. The ice cream is super creamy, and they always have fun, unique flavors that make me want to try everything on the menu. So far I've had vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, pineapple, and Rolo. I hadn't come here in years and was passing by and decided to stop by. We decided to go through the drive thru since the walk-in line was long. The service was very quick but what disappointed me a bit was when we were approached at our car to get our order taken there was no menu of any sort, I guess this isn't a problem for regulars but for us we had no clue what they served besides soft serve. I asked her what they have on the menu and she just listed the flavors so it seemed like they only sell cones so we ordered 2 cones but upon pulling up we noticed they had all sorts of stuff like milkshakes (which I would have ordered instead of the cone) so that was a bit of a bummer. They accept cash, card and Apple Pay. We received our order within 2 mins and drove off to a nearby parking lot to enjoy our ice-creams. Food : The ice creams were DELICIOUS! We got the chocolate vanilla swirl and the strawberry chocolate. Both medium sized, but they were huge! I'd get a small next time for a post-meal dessert. The ingredients were clearly high quality and super- fresh! The chocolate and vanilla tasted creamy because of the excellent milk sourced from their dairy. There are people with IPads taking your order as you turn right onto Neal. As your car comes around through the overhang, you already have your ice cream in your hand. There is also a standing line that was 50+ people long. We got served within 5 minutes. They had a system in there that was ready for the crowds. We went on a nice walk around the park as it was a lovely sunny day and to be honest, I would go here even on a cloudy-overcast day. I've had the pleasure of eating a lot of ice cream in my life. I want to say that this is easily the best ice cream I've had during my 37 years on this planet. I was inhaling my ice cream. It was better than the gelato in Florence, better than Its It, better than salt and straw, better than froyo, etc. THIS IS THE SPOT!! First timers in the drive thru: make sure you enter the ice cream lane from First St in between the two little park areas, you'll see a sign on the street pole that says "No Parking, Ice Cream Lane"! Do NOT try to enter the ice cream line from Railroad, the street little side street right next to it, or you'll get some angry people honking at you! -- saw someone getting honked at on my way out and saw the angry customers who had been waiting realize they were getting cut in line -- yikes! Young gentleman who took our order was polite when we explained it was our first time and wanted to know our options. They shut down promptly at 8, so if you're not in line before, you're out of luck. They were out of the waffle cones, so all four of us went with a swirl on a regular cone, I use "swirl" loosely, as it's really just one flavor on one side, and the other on the other side. Ice cream had good firmness and was creamy, but none of us really thought it tasted like much. Price is right. $3.75 for a medium cone, so the four of us ate for $15.
