Bought a Mango cake that doesn't seem to be fresh. The base layer is extremely extremely hard and not moist at all. Maybe they forgot adding enough syrup in the base layer or its just stale. Rest is going into trash as its not edible. Waste of $55 Just look at the density of bottom layer in the picture. read more

Visited this place to get some pastries after eating spicy lunch in the area. We ordered Gajar halwa pastry and mango pastry. I have never tried gajar halwa pastry and I loved it this time. Mango pastry is usual and it was good as usual. They had other flavors also, which we didn't try at this visit. It's a self order spot, where you order at the counter and pick up food. The service here is atrocious. The young guy who stands behind the counter is very rude and disrespectful. He says they give a 3.5% discount when paying via cash. But he turn around back and say, change is given back in increments of $1 only. They don't carry cents (and it's clearly seen that they do). For $2.10 item, I ended up paying $3. 90cents is not a big deal but it shows how they run the business. This same young guy was pretty rude to the staff they have hired. In front of customers, he was bashing the helper who was just keeping a cake. On top, they have unclear prices. 8" cake costs $57. When asked how much would a customized cost in same size, the young guy mentioned $110-$120; which is ok since it's customized. In 5 mins he called back and say it's $170 now. I have contacted multiple bakeries and bakers for exact same design and flavor and rate was $110-$120. These 2 instances show how much of a penny pincher they are. I would warn any customers going there to be careful of price gouging and price manipulation these guys do. Also, if you read through the reviews, there have multiple mentions of this young guy who is being disrespectful to customers and staff but seems like this establishment is doing Nothing about it!! read more

Staff and owner are friendly. I ordered a customized 1/2 sheet cake for a gender reveal party. They are able to make the cake either pink or blue. If it's pink, they have strawberry flavor filling/cream. If it's blue, they only have white vanilla filling/cream. It ended up being a boy and it's blue inside. I originally showed them a picture with simple blue/pink butter cream design and was quoted $150 + tax. It was too much, so I asked for a plain white color outside with no design. The price was $113.85 + $10 extra for the blue color-cake + tax, which was about $137 total. The cake met my expectation and the gender reveal went well. The taste is like a regular cake, nothing spectacular. I agreed with some reviewers that customized cake price is whatever the owner says and I personally think their items are a bit over priced. First visit: I had been there a couple of weeks back and I ordered gulab jamun and rasmalai pastry/ cake slice. It was overly sweet for my liking. IMO, the sweetness can be a bit low. However, if you like Indian desserts then you will surely like it. It was just not for me. Second visit: Today my husband and I wanted to give them another chance so we ordered a couple of new items: Mango pastry: Really good. Sugar was appropriate and cake was soft. Veg Puff pastry: The filling was full of big chunks of boiled potatoes and beans tossed in turmeric and very low salt. It was tasteless. I have had better ones at Indian grocery stores nearby. Cream roll: A Big Disaster! We took a bite and couldn't go ahead with eating rest of it. Butter cream was granular and thick, pastry was dry as if it was made 3-4 days before. I would not expect that from a bakery store. Tbh, I would recommend them to try Tous le jours's Milk cornet/ cream roll and try to elevate their cream roll to something closer to it. There are not enough words to say how amazing this bakery is. They did a four tier cake for our wedding. Amazing!!! Amazing!!! Amazing!!! There was not a single piece of cake left, but crumbs, and the guest still chase those down. If you're planning a special occasion, this is the best place to get your cake. I have been to so many weddings, I've never had a cake this good in my life. I have never gotten so many compliments on a cake I didn't make. My advice to you is, find the design you want, and give it to her, and she can duplicate it. Go with buttercream frosting and not fondant. Her frosting holds up well. We tried the rasamalai cake and few other cupcakes through Uber eats. I called the bakery for the writing on the cake. The only issue is, they didn't have most of the cupcakes I ordered and replaced it with something else. In my opinion, they shouldn't have it on the menu if they don't have it in stock.
