Honestly, the employees were not very friendly. I don't care that much about that in this instance because the baked goods made up for their demeanor. The brownie was nice and chewy. Very soft and even though it's super dark, it's not bitter and the salt flakes make it the perfectly balanced sweet and salty combo. Bread was insanely good. I got a half loaf of semolina and the spices on the outside are adjacent to Side Door Bagel's everything bagel seasoning. It's perfect and I wish I lived in Fountain Square so I could get a loaf whenever I need it. Haha. I enjoyed stopping in here and will be back.

We stopped in for brunch to kick off our vacation before flying out the next day, and we couldn't have picked a better spot. Borage has been on our list for a while, and after visiting, we're honestly wondering why we didn't make it here sooner! The food was exceptional, and we especially loved knowing that they prioritize locally sourced ingredients. You can really appreciate the care and thought that goes into what they serve. The attached store was also such a great bonus and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. As oyster lovers, we were excited to see oysters on the menu, and we also spotted a sandwich and cocktail deal that definitely caught our attention. There were so many tempting options that we already know one brunch visit wasn't enough! We can't wait to come back, try more of their brunch offerings, and experience their dinner menu as well. It wasn't even fresh out of the oven, and it still melted in my mouth. Light, soft, perfectly glazed... I knew right then I was in trouble.
