For the price and the quality you really can't go wrong with get a lot! There was not a thing from this place that I didn't enjoy.

Empanada, crème cone, and a sweet concha.

Walk in, grab a tray & tongs, and enjoy. While I do not speak Spanish, I still felt comfortable making a few selections. Staff was friendly helping others with their selections. The crème cone was so rich, and their cinnamon roll went perfectly with dark coffee. Was very pleasantly surprised, and will definitely go back.

I wish I could give this place a ZERO I purchased a dozen tamales from Ofelia's bakery this morning ... made it all the way home and discovered they were raw !! I called immediately and the lady answered the phone so rudely and said she couldn't help me how ridiculous. Never coming here again. Bad customer service , dirty, crowded, & under cooked food.

We love getting cake from Ofelia's! We've had cake ordered from there on multiple occasions! Their tres leches is delicious and the fruit on top is always fresh! It's always a hit at our parties

This Tres Leches cake with fruit toppings was wonderful. ¡Feliz cumpleaños Lita!

First time coming here and it was impressive. There are so many different baked goodies to choose from. We came here to get a Tee Leches cake for my mother-in-law's birthday and also picked up a few things to nosh on while in the car. My kiddos enjoyed their yeast doughnuts with chocolate icing and rainbow sprinkles. Not going to lie, they looked so good I will be getting one next time we stop in! On to the cake: it was delicious!!! Nothing too fancy, but a well executed simple cake done quite right. It looked very pretty and we were all eager to see Lita enjoy it. Only thing I would have changed would be to add some fruit in the middle, but everything else was wonderful. For just walking in and picking out a cake one has no complaints at all. Highly recommend checking out this local panaderia.

Delayed leaving this review. What a great small find for bakery goods and what looked like Hispanic foods and candies of all kinds! Stopped in after going to the Washington Discount store. Unsure of what is going on regarding covid and if they are still operating, but def check this place out when open! Great baked goods and OMG to their big churros! Yummmm!

O'Felia's Bakery is located at 79th and Michigan at the end of the strip center closes to 79th Street. As I entered, a man greeted me and then finished his brief conversation with the friendly woman behind the counter. Before leaving he pointed out where the trays and tongs were, said goodbye and left. I'm still not sure if he worked there or was just a super friendly customer who spoke English well. This is a small shop with 6 bakery cases and one larger cooler case. The cases are full of fresh breads, large cookies, pastries and sugary treats. I also noticed a double sided grocery shelf with a few convenience items one might need when you prefer to avoid a morning grocery run. I went in looking for individual slices of flan, my weakness, but instead found a large, deep dish, if you will, flan. Huge! It was $50 huge but would certainly feed a crowd. The heavy condensation inside the cooler made it difficult to view what else was actually in the case. I purchased several of the large cookies, an ocho and a cinnamon doughnut. Everything was tasty just not memorable enough for us to drive to 79th and Michigan. We now have several bakeries in our area so the competition in Indy continues to grow.

A must try if you like cinnamon rolls.

Just look at these fresh cinnamon rolls... light, sweet... exceptional. Very friendly and willing to help explain what the items are, also.

This is a nice little Panaderia at 79th and Michigan. The good are fresh and more than reasonably priced. They have a few grocery items for purchase for convenience, but it is predominantly a bakery with a case dedicated to some lovely cakes. On the weekends, they have tamales and champurrado available. The shop is a small space at the end of a strip, but they fill it with racks of pan dulce including conchas and molasses piggies. The young man working when I stopped in was very friendly and helpful. A nice option in the area.

I like to eat this bread plain, with cheese, or make a sandwich with it. I also purchased a chocolate croissant (I love me a good chocolate croissant) and it was so flaky, buttery, and filling, very delicious. I warmed it up a bit at home and enjoyed every bite of it. I got Grandpa's one pan skillet and my boyfriend got the sausage breakfast sandwich on croissant bread. All I gotta say is those chefs definitely knew what they were doing! The flavors were unique and intentional and I enjoyed every bite. The home fries (potatoes) were also so yummy and everything was cooked really well. There's nothing basic about borage and I love that! This place is a gem. They also have a cafe/market area where you can order drinks and pastries. I wish we waited until we got seated to order drinks because the menu was much more extensive than what I saw in the cafe and I would have ordered a different drink had I seen all the other options. Whoever you are... thank you. You changed my life. The sweet woman behind the counter heard where I was from and handed me a complimentary glazed yeast donut. Let me tell you... WHEW! It wasn't even fresh out of the oven, and it still melted in my mouth. Light, soft, perfectly glazed... I knew right then I was in trouble. I ended up buying a box with blueberry cake, applesauce cake, cinnamon sugar, Bavarian cream, glazed yeast, and a few others. Everything was incredibly fresh, and at those prices, I had to double-check the menu because I thought I was reading it wrong! When I got back to my parents' house in Louisville, we warmed a few up for just a few seconds. Game over. They somehow tasted even better. My plan was to take some to church tomorrow to share... but judging by how fast they're disappearing, I may be testifying about them instead. Before I left, the woman smiled and said, "Make sure you come back when you're in town." Oh, I'll be back. I may even create reasons to drive through Indianapolis now. Long's Bakery doesn't need fancy displays or trendy flavors. They simply make outstanding donuts with friendly service and prices that make you wonder if they accidentally forgot inflation. 10/10. Yes, these are quite a bit pricer that's for sure. People were buying one of everything in line. I was like wow! Some Items the combinations of flavors didn't appeal to me. I love tiramisu and pecan pie so I got them both. One suggestion I would have is to have utensils and napkins at the table for people to use. The pastries I bought are really temperature sensitive and need to be kept cold. Both had a cream - mousse inside. They wouldn't last long only a day or to the next. I loved the pecan item I ordered. It was great! The tiramisu one I wouldn't order again. The bottom flakey part was so bitter. I love coffee and expresso and tiramisu. But, the whole thing just wasn't what I thought it would taste like. Now I know. :-( Creamy, sweet, smooth, with a kick of coffee all come together to make a great tiramisu. This is what most people love about it. I don't know if they are planning on opening a store or not. The pop ups are doing well it seems. What went from ordering 1 pastry each turned into 8 total.. and we regret nothing. The Tiramisu Danish was exactly as I had hoped for! The bitter taste of espresso paired with the sweet mascarpone cream filling reminded me of the holidays when I would watch my mom make tiramisu for our family. While a lot of people prefer a sweeter espresso, I thought this was perfect and very true to a traditional tiramisu taste The Pear Kouglof reminded me of a fresh yeast donut that's been tossed in sugar This was a very kid-friendly pastry in taste and while I wasn't too blown away by it, it did make me wonder if I would have preferred it with a stronger, more potent, fruit. The Cherry Basque Cheesecake -- this pastry was the house favorite. The texture of this cheesecake was creamy, but somehow still spongey.. cakey, but more like pudding. Mix that with the juiciest sour cherries and the crunch of a biscoff crust.. mind blown was an understatement. We're looking forward to what Beurre Sec has planned for their next pop-up
