Amelia's is a bakery located in the Stutz. I tried the cinnamon roll croissant, and it was absolutely delicious! The store was clean and well organized. They have indoor seating if you'd like to enjoy your food there, and they also offer a small selection of cold items along with merch. I'm a girl who loves a good souvenir! The staff was friendly and welcoming, which makes for a pleasant experience. Highly recommend stopping by! I can't wait to return!

If you go near closing they give out extra bread that would go to waste otherwise which I appreciate. This location in particular has special drinks the other Amelias don't have. It's a staple of Indianapolis, I love this shop!! Service is nice, staff seem a bit gay so I trust them with making my drink (I'm trans), space is cozy and lively!

4 stars. Awesome laminated dough pastries. Service is usually decent, too. The only issue I have is that they have discontinued two of my favorite items. They used to do a collard green and ham hock savory pastry that was absolutely one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. And they also had a sausage pastry that was served with a pepper jam. Probably the most delicious breakfast sausage treat ever made! BRING BACK THE SAVORY PASTRIES!!!!

I had the best croissants ever at Amelia's yesterday. My husband and I stopped by and bought two amazing pastries. I ate both. The Lemon Croissant was flaky and buttery with the most delicious tart Meyer lemon filling. The second croissant was a Chocolate Croissant with beautiful layers of pastry and a fine layer of creamy chocolate. I kid you not, there were the BEST croissants in Indianapolis (maybe anywhere) by far. While the croissants are large, you won't want to share them. Just saying. The shop is part of the Stutz complex in the food court. They primarily serve pastries, fresh breads and coffee, but also offer a selection of gourmet pantry items, locally sourced frozen meats and fresh salads. The fresh artisan breads were beautiful and I left wishing that I had picked up a loaf. The upscale dining area is perfect as a work space with free WiFi and artistic tables and a comfortable and trendy vibe. The clerks are friendly and attentive. Service was fast. There is metered parking, but there is still a walk to get to the shop. Amelia's will be a regular stop for me when I visit downtown.

Stopped in for Valentines day! Love this place. Had the tiramisu latte iced and hope it's gonna be in the rotation for specialty drinks for a while! Service was fast for a national holiday. Busy for the holiday lots of places to sit usually.

I've been meaning to try Amelia's for a while now, but never got around to it. I recently discovered my new favorite coffee shop (Barista Parlor) which is only a few doors down from here. I was feeling hungry so I decided to stop by for a little bite. I saw the Palak Paneer hand pie and was intrigued, but it was the cashier who sold me on it because she also had one earlier that morning. Omg. It was soooooo good. It had spinach, seared paneer cheese, some spices, and the perfect amount of salt in the filling. The flavor was on point. I'll have to come back to try their chocolate chip cookies and other pastries. Even though I came in the afternoon the case was still pretty filled and looked delicious (and tasted fresh!)

First of all love this location. It's located in one of the coolest buildings in Indy. The staff were very helpful and had great suggestions. I wanted something a little bit more savory since I hadnt had lunch and they recommended a potato stuffed pasty. It was flaky and absolutely delicious. Of course I also had to get something sweet. They recommended the beet brownie. There was only one left so it must have been one of their most popular items. The brownie was moist but not overwhelming rich. But the star of the show. The orange creamsicle lemonade. One of the best drinks I have ever had.

Amelia's never disappoints. The staff is always friendly. Today I had the Kouign Amanna. It's a rounded croissant rolled in crystalized sugar. The croissant was buttery and flaky and the sugar added just the right touch of sweetness. Delicious! I topped it off with an iced, oat ube dream latte. The latte is a mix of ube and blackberry syrups mixed with oatmilk and expresso topped with cold foam. It was creamy and light which made it a great compliment to the croissant.

Such a good spot with amazing coffee and pastries. They have a lot of other goodies here too, but mainly it's a cafe. My friends and I walk down here every now and then. They have great staples, but they also have seasonal coffee selections and it's fun to try something new. Good place to hangout and take your time or grab a coffee on the go.

All Amelia's locations are fantastic. This newer location at The Stutz gets extra points, because it is the perfect spot to visit for dessert after enjoying the best tacos from Julieta's and solid cocktails at Turner's. There is a small seating area, for those who may want to sit and relax with their tasty baked goods and some caffeine. Amelia's typical offering of unique grocery products, both from local and acclaimed national brands, is also available at this location. I find it's the perfect location for finding gifts for the favorite foodie(s) in your life. The employees are always friendly and helpful when trying to narrow down your order...but, pro tip...just order everything that sounds delish and creative! You won't regret it. My only complaint is that the most perfect ginger molasses cookie is not available year-round. It is beautifully spiced, with this amazing chewy-soft texture; it just melts in the mouth. Of course, maybe we would not appreciate it as much if it was always available.

Lovely coffee spot in Indianapolis. We wanted a hot cup of coffee on a cold Indy day and found Amelia's on Yelp. The young ladies that helped us were friendly and helpful, the coffee was pretty good too. Sadly, this was on our way to the airport, but if I'm ever back in Indianapolis I'll stop by again.

I love Amelia's in Fountain Square, so when I was at the Stutz Art Gallery for an event Sunday afternoon, and noticed Amelia's on the first floor, I just had to stop by afterwards and check it out. I was impressed with how big the space is and how they serve beverages at this location versus the Fountain Square location. The Amelia's at Stutz has a nice area with booths where people can sit and talk while sipping on a latte. The selection of products is better here and the pastries are even better and bigger selection than the Fountain Square location. I ordered the last slice of olive oil cake, which is my favorite, a cinnamon roll croissant, and the bread of the day which was cranberry walnut. I wanted just a half loaf, but the cashier gave me a full loaf at the half loaf price which was an added bonus. The cashier was very nice and professional, and made me smile the entire time. This Amelia's is no comparison to the Fountain Square location. The Amelia's at Stutz has a lot more to offer product wise and beverage wise, and you can hang out inside with friends over coffee or work off of your laptop. It is a wonderful location that is bigger in size and has more products and merchandise to offer to the customer. The customer service is exceptional from the staff, and I feel right at home at this Amelia's location. Amelia's at Stutz is the best , and I will be back here over and over again.

I would give Amelia's more than just five stars if I could! We were visiting Indy for the week and decided to drop in to their Stutz location on our road trip out of town, having tried their Windsor location the day prior. We went in at about 9am and were excited to see a full pasty case. I decided to get their twice baked pistachio croissant and we also took a loaf of their city sourdough to go. I was absolutely blown away by the croissant. The combination of rich pistachio and chocolate filling paired with the extra flakiness from being twice baked was so delightful. I'd put it up there with one of the best croissants I've ever tasted. Amelia's deserves all of the praise, they are so good at what they do. Along with the great quality and taste of treats, their staff is very friendly and I love the ambiance of the cafe. They have a map on the wall where you can pin your home, so I got to place one on Phoenix, Arizona before leaving. If I find myself in Indy again I know where to go for the best treats!

This spot is just off the creek, with a decent parking lot and a drive through. It has a deeper warmer green than a Starbucks, and it draws a much warmer crowd too. We chatted often with the people in this shop! And we visited twice. How welcoming is that? The breakfast burrito is nothing flashy, but definitely warm gooey goodness. What sets it apart is the sauce: creamy, gently spiced, something like a seasoned mayo but not spicy. Coffee, of course, is the backbone here, and it's handled with a kind of calm precision. Our barista kindly alerted my partner and me that a warm blueberry latte would have oatmeal because of course the blueberry curdles regular milk. It was great attention to detail, and it's why we came back again and again during our week long trip. They had a special for every day! Shout out to the orange blossom latte which made me feel like a fairy amidst the city's tulips.

The aesthetic is there. I want to be here. But at your price point, the experience needs to match the atmosphere, and lately there have been a few things quietly chipping away at that. First -- the syrup situation. I shouldn't have to order a specific menu latte just to get a flavored drink. A little flexibility goes a long way in making a customer feel like a guest and not just a transaction. Let me build my drink a little. I'll spend more, I promise. And the pastries, baby. I ordered a croissant and watched it get placed in a bag with a thin sheet of paper like it didn't deserve better. By the time I got home, it had made up its mind to be a different pastry entirely. I know there's a microwave back there -- I've seen it working for the breakfast sandwiches. A warm croissant is a small thing that changes everything. I'm not going anywhere. But I need you to know I notice these things -- because I care about what this place could be. Still yours (for now), A regular.
