Carmel Farmer's Market .. The Amp and I think there're more places you can get them. My all time favorite is Pain aux raisins but everything else is good. I also like their croissants, chocolate chips cookie and French bread. Reviewed after bought their pastry almost 10 times!

I've walked by this location a number of times, but never stopped until recently, I'm glad I did since they serve one of my favorites, macaroons! I decided to get three different flavors, the birthday cake, raspberry, and the pistachio. They were all delicious! Each flavor was unique and I enjoyed them, very reasonable at $2 bucks a piece! I can't wait to get back and check out more tasty flavors! Service was great as well, very friendly group!

I visited the AMP on Thursday for lunch and while I was there I stopped at Circle City Sweets. I stopped to look in the window at all their treats and one of the gals that was working behind the counter asked me if I needed anything and she was very helpful and nice. I found that they had macarons in flavors that I had not tried so I got a couple of those to go. The flavors of the macarons were cashew Sriracha lime and the other was apple butter buttercream. As I ate my way through the cashew Sriracha lime macaron you could feel a little bit of heat building and I found it very interesting and a good. I also picked up a loaf of country white bread and they slice it for you for free. On the counter they had a menu of items that they are going to have over the December holiday period and she said that would not be all of them they would be adding more things as time went along. I taught myself to make macarons a couple years ago, it is not easy. The gal that was baking in there had a couple tips for me and I gladly will give them a try. Next time I am in the AMP I we'll stop here again and check out the other macaron flavors as well as the bread selection.

I came one time around 9am on a Wednesday (they open at 7am) and they were already sold out of almond croissants that everyone raves about so I gave up trying to go again until I saw a post they had made extra and jumped right into my car to try them. I was grateful they still had quite a selection and finally got my hands on this almond croissant. Easily the best in the city. All of the reviews are accurate! Order ahead if you need them for something specific

I had a meeting at AMP this morning and I was excited to try new places. The size of the pastries here was insane! I had the chocolate croissant and naively thought I could finish it myself. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. Bring another person or save half for later. I also got a pumpkin shaped sugar cookie to enjoy later. And I did. My group also catered some pastries for our meeting and they were a hit.

So I came to the Amp with my colleagues, this is the first stand when you walk into the building, they have so many beautiful desserts, I got the crème brûlée, one of the bakers burnt the sugar in front if me, which was pretty cool! When I tried it, I felt like the crust was way too thick, and I decided to remove it, as it was too much, underneath it, there was still a whole layer of raw sugar waiting for me. I still decided to eat it, the top of the crème brûlée was cooked well, it was firm, but not too firm, however the middle and bottom were very runny and uncooked. I felt like even so, it didn't have too much flavor. Overall I was disappointed, but I realize that they do have other desserts that I would want to go and try.

This is my favorite bakery for two reasons. Amazing products and faire prices! Tried the asparagus and cheese croissant today. Soooo good. Worth a trip to the AMP for sure but get there early or pre-order!

Circle City Sweets moved here from City Market and the food is just as good as it ever was. The tiramisu was moist and espresso-ey (?) while still retaining its firmness. Only $5 for a large slice too.

I'm so glad this is near my workplace! I was greeted as soon as I walked up and was able to get my order quickly which was a plus since I was on my way to work in the morning. I got the blueberry muffin, cream cheese muffin and the sour cream pecan coffee cake muffin. Wow were they good! The blueberry muffin was a bit dry, but still very tasty and the cream cheese muffin wasn't as sweet - it had good mix of a savory taste to it. My favorite was the sour cream pecan coffee cake muffin!

So dangerous or lucky that Circle City Sweets is one of the 1st booths when entering AMP 16. It's always my 1st stop since I started coming to the Winter Farmers market. Get there early on Saturday's, or order in advance as items go quick. So far I've tried Almond, Chocolate, Coffee, Raspberry and Ham & Cheese Croissants. All excellent choices so far. I've also tried the oatmeal raisin bread and just picked up the multigrain sourdough. They can get busy so maybe go during the week or visit any of the other venues they supply. Just check out their site. Treat yourself!

Yum! Got a quick mid-day treat while out on a lovely Saturday. My partner and I enjoy a pastry that isn't loaded with sweet. Circle City hit the balance perfectly. Generous amount of golden raisins were hidden throughout the pastry's layers. Large enough to split! Really cool to see the entire kitchen behind you as well, you can tell that quality is put into each treat. Share one!!

More photos! I absolutely love everything I've tried there, and the staff is super friendly in person. I've tried macarons, scones, muffins, and all have been 12/10.

I came here last weekend to check out their new space at the Amp market. They are currently the only ones there but that just gave me more time to take in all the tasty foods that they have there. We chatted with Liz when we got there about the history of Circle City Sweets and she recommended that we definitely check out the croissants there. We grabbed an almond croissant and a sourdough bread. The croissant was delicious, a good balance of breadiness from the dough and the sweetness from the almond filling. The sourdough was also really tasty. It was perfectly airy and had a really good crumb. The prices there were good, the baked goods were awesome and chatting with Liz made the whole experience better. Can't wait to go back!

Yes, these are quite a bit pricer that's for sure. People were buying one of everything in line. I was like wow! Some Items the combinations of flavors didn't appeal to me. I love tiramisu and pecan pie so I got them both. One suggestion I would have is to have utensils and napkins at the table for people to use. The pastries I bought are really temperature sensitive and need to be kept cold. Both had a cream - mousse inside. They wouldn't last long only a day or to the next. I loved the pecan item I ordered. It was great! The tiramisu one I wouldn't order again. The bottom flakey part was so bitter. I love coffee and expresso and tiramisu. But, the whole thing just wasn't what I thought it would taste like. Now I know. :-( Creamy, sweet, smooth, with a kick of coffee all come together to make a great tiramisu. This is what most people love about it. I don't know if they are planning on opening a store or not. The pop ups are doing well it seems. What went from ordering 1 pastry each turned into 8 total.. and we regret nothing. The Tiramisu Danish was exactly as I had hoped for! The bitter taste of espresso paired with the sweet mascarpone cream filling reminded me of the holidays when I would watch my mom make tiramisu for our family. While a lot of people prefer a sweeter espresso, I thought this was perfect and very true to a traditional tiramisu taste The Pear Kouglof reminded me of a fresh yeast donut that's been tossed in sugar This was a very kid-friendly pastry in taste and while I wasn't too blown away by it, it did make me wonder if I would have preferred it with a stronger, more potent, fruit. The Cherry Basque Cheesecake -- this pastry was the house favorite. The texture of this cheesecake was creamy, but somehow still spongey.. cakey, but more like pudding. Mix that with the juiciest sour cherries and the crunch of a biscoff crust.. mind blown was an understatement. We're looking forward to what Beurre Sec has planned for their next pop-up

That could not be more true. We both did Pick Two: I got a chicken salad sandwich and my mother got a turkey and cheese both with the soup of the day which was butternut squash. Soup was OK, sandwiches were OK. I got a side of chips (not made in-house) for $3. My daughter was upset when we arrived bc she was napping in the car and she proceeded to cry for about the first 10 minutes so, I walked around with her to calm her before I sat down since it's so cramped to try not to disturb everyone else. She was not happy the entire time so we were trying to calm her and feed her. Cake slices and cheesecake are $17-20 each. They're large but other reviews say dry and taste old. That's pricey. We skipped dessert at those prices based on the quality of the rest of our meal... I got an $8 peppermint mocha which was good but, served in the smallest teacup imaginable. It's extremely small inside. Like, uncomfortable. Granted, I had a lot of items with my baby and her and we were seated at a table for two with her in my lap but it was close quarters and the waitresses were squeezing between the chairs to walk around. They have about 6 tables inside with a small event private room in back. Our waitress was kind but, the manager or owner was off-putting. She went to every single table seated except ours to ask how their meal was and experience and, when time to pay, she wanted to personally ring me up to ensure we left in a hurry. I get it, some places are not meant for babies, but, since it's billed specifically to kids, I thought this was. Nope, I was wrong. (She's 19 months - so, too young for this bougie of an establishment clearly) I would not come back at all unless it was for my, older daughter to have a birthday cake experience and get a couple cute pics. As far as instagram-worthy goes, they know what they're doing. As far as quality of food. It's like a 2.5 stars. I had planned not to eat because the menu isn't very inclusive for my dietary restrictions. If you are only gluten free with no other food restrictions, they have some options for you. For me, with gluten and dairy plus some other restrictions, my only option would've been a salad and I would've had to adjust it for my needs. I planned ahead of time to just have tea, and that's what I did. The tea itself was pretty good, but it came out very lukewarm, so it was disappointing. The menu says the tea pot is for 1-2, but it's very small and I'd never consider it for 2 people. I had maybe 2.5-3 tea cup refills before it was gone. For the price, I'd rather get tea elsewhere. For birthdays, they do bring you edible glitter to blow from your hand when you make a wish. It's a cute addition, whether you're a kid or grown ups like my group. The food and drinks felt overpriced to me, but I think this is one of those places where it's about the ambiance and experience more than anything. It's not somewhere I'm eager to return to, but if someone is having a celebration there, I'll prepare ahead and maybe ask for my tea to come extra hot.
