Yelp recently hosted an event here, but sadly, I was not on the guest list. I was, however, the esteemed guest of my husband! Lol. We arrived and I was immediately impressed, visually, by the beautiful atmosphere that they've curated. Through the glass garage door storefront, you are greeted by interesting light fixtures, eye- catching red chairs, large booths, rotating digital images of the delectable chocolate offerings, and flowing fountains of white, milk and dark chocolate. We entered and the smell of sweet confections filled the air. I left my husband at the counter to order and grabbed a table for us in the corner nearest to the garage door. We later discussed how, during the Summer, it will be so nice if/when they open that door up to the outside air. You order at the counter, and then they bring it out to your table. My husband returned with a big glass bottle of cold water (and some of the flimsiest plastic cups that I've ever held). The water was a nice, and necessary, touch. The dishes are rich! They are rich in the best way possible, though. The event provided a complimentary crepe with your choice of fruit, and a cookie skillet with ice cream. My husband couldn't decide on which fruit(s) to get, so the employee just told him that they'd hook it up for us. The crepe came out, and it was so beautiful...it was almost too pretty to eat! They provided us with an array of fruit to accompany it; bananas, strawberries, pineapples, and kiwi. The addition of the fruit really helped to cut through the richness of the chocolate. The crepe was the perfect, delicate vehicle for all of it! I probably ate about a 1/3 of it, and tried so save room for the cookie. I'm not a real "sweets" eater, but everything here just looks so good! The cookie skillet came out warm, gooey, and with its own generous drizzling of chocolate under a scoop of ice cream (& whipped cream if my memory serves me correctly). The cookie by itself was really delicious. In the future, I will omit the addition of chocolate sauce. It really didn't need it. I look forward to another fun dessert date with my hubby at this really SWEET lounge! P.S. All of the portion sizes that I saw were shareable. Bae and I could've shared either one of those desserts and been good. I also saw a woman sharing a sweet treat with her two children, and several other patrons were sharing. I visited Melt N Dip for the second time in early February. The restaurant was significantly less packed from when I visited the first time. In my first experience they wouldn't allow me to change the chocolate from milk to dark in the dubai cup, but this time they allowed it. I shared the dubai cup and triple chocolate crepe with a friend. The price is $$ in my opinion but I feel like you are paying for the experience. The menu is extensive so there are a lot of options, one might even say, too many options. Since we visited around 8:45 pm there was no line and we had a lot of time to ask about their offerings. The person working the register was kind and handled our questions with ease. We sat at a table with our number stand and then we were served. It wasn't that our desserts were bad they just were a lot for two people. Talk about sugar rush!! What we did end up eating was tasty and seemed very fresh. I love this concept and hope more people venture out to check it out. The vibe is very chill and there a chairs and tables plus couches if you want a different experience. My daughter is obsessed with strawberry Dubai cups. So , we had to go here and try one. She enjoyed it, but notes the strawberry chunks are too big in the cup, if they could be cut up a bit smaller. Very cute inside and love the big couches to sit on. Great place to bring the family after dinner to splurge on an incredible dessert. Free Parking available. Cons: straw is too tiny to drink my strawberry juice, I had to pour it into my mouth. That was not appealing. Please invest in fatter straws for your chunky drinks offered. read more

I had the best time at Melt and Dip; it's truly a dessert lover's paradise. Initially the service felt a bit rushed, I expected more conversation about the menu and their popular picks. Have a sweet tooth? Check this gem out on the north side of Indianapolis, located in Fishers conveniently near the interstate for easy access. They have plenty of parking spots right out front, which makes stopping in really easy. The service was genuinely friendly from the moment I walked in. The space is beautiful, featuring three chocolate towers (milk, white, and dark) that are mesmerizing to look at. I was checking out the gelato selection and wondering which flavor was the most popular so I asked one of the workers, and he kindly offered me a sample of Mr. Lotus, explaining that it's their top seller. One taste and I understood why--it was delicious! I ended up getting one scoop in a cup (they offer both cups and cones), and the price was around $5-6. One scoop was plenty for me--super creamy, rich, and extremely satisfying. The inside atmosphere is also a big win. The seating is cozy and comfortable, with both chairs and booth options that make it easy to relax and enjoy your dessert. I chose to sit in a booth to enjoy my gelato and noticed real plants behind me--such a nice touch, and it definitely elevated the vibe for me, I love plants! They also have two gender-neutral restrooms, and both were clean and well-maintained during my visit, which I always appreciate. While we citizens of Central Indiana were experiencing our first substantial snowfall of the season, I was determined NOT to let a little media hype (and actual slippery roads ) keep me from fulfilling my duties as a loyal Yelp! Elite...Besides, I was on my way to a place called Melt-N-Dip, and there was NO way I was NOT going to Get Lost in WHATEVER that meant! After driving over the fresh snowfall and navigating around drivers who forget how to drive after each snow event (no matter how small), I eventually arrived at my destination to also #find the first snowman of the season - made right outside the front door of the evening's INtertainment. He was a snowman who got covered in snow (how ironic!), but I gave him back his sight (at least for a while). I parted ways with the snowman and walked through the open door of Melt n Dip (Fishers). My eyes immediately fixated on 3 giant chocolate fountains (white to dark) that were begging me to run my fingers through them, lick off the decadent goodness, then do it again. This is a great place to take someone to treat them for their birthday or special occasion. The chocolate is very rich. I had the chocolate and strawberries and as well as the screw with fruits, chocolate and marshmallows. They're very busy so you'll get a beeper to let you know when your order is ready or if you're dining and they will bring it straight to your table. Because they're so popular the ambience can be very noisy at times. But it's well worth it. read more

I had came here and decided to get some ice cream. The cashier had let me try the different ice cream out before I decided on flavor because there were two I couldn't decide on which one I really wanted. I settled on the strawberry cheesecake which was really delicious. The price was okay but the ice cream was rich since it's gelato which is really good. The inside of the restaurant was really nice and they played some good instrumental music in there. It was very warm and welcoming. I will be coming back here again. This place has it all, from gelato to crepes to Dubai chocolate and even chai tea and coffee. I need to go back because everything sounds amazing. The portions are significantly big and you can totally share some crepes with another person. The young man at the register was polite abr answered all my questions about differences and such. This is literally the best place for your chocolate craving! My daughter treated me to Melt n' Dip after church and we had such a great time. The wait time wasn't long & it's a very chill vibe so it was perfect for us to have some time to chat. I had the brownie a la mode & she had the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries cup. She ate the whole thing smh lol. I couldn't finish mine but I really wanted to. The brownie was warm & the strawberries helped balance the richness from the chocolate. I am obsessed! Let's start with the ambience. This place sets the bar high! There is a lot of seating. Everything is tastefully decorated. It opens up to the outdoor for extended seating. This would be a great spot for a date night. The service was good. They gave me a buzzer for when my order would be ready. Within 10 minutes of ordering my buzzer went off for me to pick up my order. The taste of the chocolate and fruit was honestly the best I've ever tasted. The fruit was super fresh. I was surprised of the amount of fruit for two people. We ate on this for three days. I will have to ask the next time I go if the chocolate has to be refrigerated I was not sure so I did which was a little bit of a pain warming up every time we eat our fruit. I asked and they also do catering for 50+ attendees. I will be getting this for my daughter's graduation open house next year. What a special treat! Stopped with my family and couldn't have been happier! The service is great and the decor is cozy! We went mid afternoon during the week so it wasn't busy at all! Holy decadence!. We saw these all over social media and knew we had to try. We went on a rainy day so the line wasn't very long, thank goodness. I totally see how the line could get incredibly long. We waited about 20 minutes. The line isn't where the wait is... it's just the start. We got our crepe pretty quickly, within ten or so minutes. It was decadent, delicious. I was actually overwhelmed with how much rich chocolate was in it. I'd get again immediately. We saw a huge line at the counter - I'm assuming they were all for the Dubai cups. A group of friends and I came in so excited to try this place out since it was so hyped up on instagram and it looked good on social media but we were so disappointed so fast. We first came in and the place looked nice I won't lie, but the service is terrible. We wanted to head to the bathroom before we ordered but we noticed that there was no toilet paper in ether bathroom. We told one of the employees nicely and she just said "ok I'll be back " We were waiting for her for 20 minutes thinking she would come back but never did. After that we tried to forget about that incident cause she could have "forgotten" so we ordered like normal. While ordering the person had an annoyed attitude since we took an extra minute deciding, even though there was no one behind us.The food is extremely overpriced for the amount we get and for the taste. I've been here twice and the first time there were lots of open tables and no wait but the second time the line wrapped around the store! If the novelty of this place doesn't wear off, they might need to expand to a second location or rethink their ordering process--you end up waiting longer to order than to get your food. We came in wanting to have a little alone time without our kiddos. Ordered a Dubai latte with oat milk. It took over 30 minutes to receive the latte which is the longest I have ever wanted for a latte, even if it had a fancy name of Dubai Latte. The espresso used was delicious, but to pay $10 for a latte is crazy. And then to wait for over 30 minutes for a latte while many other people who ordered after us receive their orders was highly disappointing. This is one of those places I'm struggling to rate I'm giving it a three but it could be a 4. Upon entering I noticed the amount of tables full of dirty dishes this was extremely off putting. The menu is large I'd advise checking it out online so you have an idea of what to order. I came for the fondue which you can order for one or multiple people. I ordered the fondue for one. It's 16 dollars let's keep that in mind. My friend ordered the red velvet fettuccine. I tried the gelato and it was delicious they have a lot of flavors and they were all so good. We were given a number and found an empty table. There was a significant wait but we didn't mind it took about 15 minutes to get our dessert. I laughed when mine was placed on the table. For 16 dollars I received a quarter of a banana, two sliced strawberries, a sliver of pineapple and a few negligible pieces of marshmallows and brownies. The pictures are extremely deceptive My friend enjoyed their red velvet fettuccine said it isn't something you'd eat often due to the sweetness but really good for an occasional treat. The prices are high but I do think for certain dishes it's worth it. I just wouldn't recommend someone order what I did. read more

I'm torn. I loved the ambiance of the space. It felt like a cool place to hang out. When I tell you, I was shocked by the prices. We spent almost $50 just on dessert . It felt like we were paying for more of the "experience" versus the quality of food. And honestly, I don't think the price was worth what we got. I personally thought the flavors were all one note.
