After many visits there has never been a flavor I did not love. It is extremely hard to make a choice though, so I love getting the flight to have a little of more flavors. Whenever they have Chocolate Amaretto Cheesecake I make sure to get a pint to take home! If you have your heart set on a flavor check their social media as they keep it updated. Plenty of indoor seating and easy parking.
We went to this spot after having dinner. This was our first time in but the ladies were really helpful with making some choices. My son enjoyed his shake and I had the flight sorbet/ice cream. My favorite was the Turkish coffee... YUM! It's a must try. We had a 40 min drive back home so it being packed in plastic was a little inconvenient. I went back in to see if they had something like styrofoam to keep the ice cream from melting as opposed to plastic but they didn't have anything. Overall the pricing was decent and next time we will just eat our treats there. It was late so we decided to head home. My son really enjoyed his shake. He gives it a 9 out of 10. Definitely try the Turkish Coffee, I'm still thinking about it.
We were in the area and brought up yelp to see ice cream shops near us. We landed at Scoop Shack. When we walked in the lady at the register was talking across the room to a party sitting at a table. There was a young man who just stood behind the counter looking at us. When we said we were ready to order he just looked at us so we went ahead and said our order. We had questions and as we were asking them, they were very vaguely answered. I always like trying new places but the welcoming mat was not out and unfortunately the ice cream was just ice cream. Nothing to write home about as they say. We both got the ice cream nachos. It is parts of waffle cone, broken up with a scoop of ice cream put on top. We even had to ask if we can get a topping on it... I would give a five star for presentation

Staff provides activities! When you reserve your party, you'll be asked what theme you want. We picked Princess and the coloring sheets with Belle holding ice cream and making edible crowns were adorable! Watch the reel to see even more activities! Ice cream! Need we say more! Party package comes with goody bags! The birthday person gets an additional Scoop Shack bag of goodies Stress free planning for parents
I went here on a whim, as I'm normally not in this area of town. It was a delightful surprise! It's locally owned and they make their own ice cream. You can have regular ice cream, sundaes, cookie sandwiches, ice cream cakes, etc. even just a scoop of ice cream you can pay for toppings. I only tried the buckeye option but I really liked it. Adding peanut butter syrup on top was a very tasty idea. Comfy seating and they have games you can play as you enjoy ice cream.
I have found my new guilty pleasure! Creamy, flavorful, and unique ice cream options made it hard to decide; we loved everything we got. I couldn't help it but had to try the "ice cream nachos" (the nachos are pieces of waffle cone!). Very reasonably priced, too. I'm sure you'll see me there if you go, because I won't be able to stay away.

This is my favorite spot to get ice cream! The service is always top notch, and the employees are always very friendly. They have so many unique flavors that are ever changing. I try something new every time. I love that you can order a single scoop and get 2 different flavors. The shop has tons of seating and is always clean.
Super tasty and some unique flavors. I had Peanut butter pie, but my friend's sugar cream pie was super tasty, too. Service was friendly. And there was local merch from all around Indy on some shelves, which was a nice touch. I think we'll be back.
If you haven't tried Scoop Shack yet, you're really missing out! The staff is great! They're very welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere is relaxed, and there are more flavors available than most other ice cream shops I've been to. On top of that, the flavors are unique. There are shakes, cones, ice cream cakes, etc.; also, there are ice cream cookie sandwiches that are DELICIOUS. There are so many things to choose from! I ordered a single scoop of Turkish coffee ice cream, and I think it was the best coffee ice cream I've had. I feel most coffee ice creams are too much or too little when it comes to coffee, but this one is just right. The creaminess is excellent! I am not a dessert person, and this is the only ice cream shop I actively seek out.
For some reason I was craving ice cream after work, and noticed this location off of binford as I was driving home. I decided to stop and check them out. The inside location is very cute and colorful, and the service was great! I had a hard time choosing since all of the flavors sounded so good! I decided on 2 scoops of key lime ice cream; it was tasty and delicious! It even had bits of crust in it like a true pie! So good! I'll be back to check out more awesome flavors! Check this place out if you are in the area!

The scenery A very modern and cozy vibe greets you when you walk in the door...there's even hutches like you would see in a dining room setting adorning local goods for deals. The Staff We were able to have great service and a wonderful conversation with the owner of the place. She shared with us about her journey on how she got there and how she came to serve locally made ice cream....pretty cool to get this info.:) The food We'll, they serve my fave local ice cream (Sundae's) and put it together beautifully with broken up waffle cone pieces, topped with delicious hot fudge (if hot fudge isn't your thing...they have plenty of other toppings to choose from!)...this creation is called Ice Cream Nachos and I highly recommend! They also have other standard ice cream creations ... if you aren't feeling the nachos vibe! Great experience and great food! We will be back!
5 stars. I'm a Sundae's fan and I was pleasantly surprised to see their flavors in this new shop. Kudos for supporting a hometown business! I sampled a few flavors (kudos for offering samples even during this pandemic) and settled on Cherry Almond! It was phenomenal! But I love almond flavoring, so it was right up my alley. For others, it may be overpowering to the palate. I enjoyed the waffle cone, too! It was kinda "chewy", in a good way. I liked being able to bite and chew it along with my ice cream. Reasonably priced. Lots of options. Very clean.

For those who are unaware, Scoop Shack has grown. Formerly located in a small strip center at 71st and Binford, Scoop Shack has expanded into the former Regions Bank located in the very same parking lot. The new location affords Scoop Shack a more appropriate space for their growing event/birthday business. It also offers them the chance to explore some additional opportunities with the space. Scoop Shack now also has a more "proper" outdoor area comprised of the space that used to be the drive-thru for the bank. Oh, and yes. The bank's safe area is still here. It's kind of a cool feature. There's also a play area for the kids. So, I knew I needed to revisit and update my review. There are two van-accessible parking spots out front. There's also one along the back for the outdoor section (there's a window where you can order without going inside). There's still a two-sided, double-door entry. It's about the only part of the whole experience that isn't super wheelchair friendly, though it's not bad. Both owners have a background in healthcare - so, the awareness of disability is pretty obvious - there's even a ramp to the back patio area. As this is a fairly recent move, the interior is still growing. There's a nice, comfy design to it. Prices are still reasonable. They still offer four and six flavor flights. Their ice cream comes from local fave Sundae's. There's a combination of half-booths and tables for seating. They've also added a handful of light food items (like hot dogs), though they're still keeping it simple. Scoop Shack does catering, parties, events, and more. They offer sundaes, shakes, ice cream nachos, walkabouts, chocogattos, a variety of hot/cold drinks, and some bottled/canned drinks. There are two unisex bathrooms - both are accessible. I've grown very fond of Scoop Shack. I think they started right around my first review in 2021 (not exactly an easy year to open up a new shop). The neighborhood has really embraced them. I definitely recommend a visit. While I loved the old space, this old space is definitely a great move for Scoop Shack. read more

Scoop Shack rocks!! They served Sundae's Icecream and have a great menu of options. The icecream nachos are a great creation. It's icecream of your choice on broken up waffle cones with whatever topping you like. This is a great stop along Binford either on your way downtown or on your way home from work. read more

I ordered a pint of LemOreo via Doordash last week. The ice cream was refreshing and enjoyable until I found a long strand of hair in the ice cream. Afterwards, I threw up and contacted doordash for a full refund. I was disappointed but do understand that accidents do happen. Hopefully in the near future, there will be stricter food safety measures that will be taken place. read more

I've spotted this ice cream spot a couple of times and while we were in the area, I suggested it to my husband. Very easy to get too and had plenty of parking. We walked in kind of surprised to see a line formed, wrapping around the tables. What I enjoyed about this place right off the bat was that they had a very large menu board that included flavors. Which was great because with the large line, we weren't able to see the flavors in the case and the large menu helped us know what to order before getting to the cashier, which in return helped the line move quickly. They had a variety of interesting flavors, one being Lemoreo (Lemon/Oreo), which was REALLY good! I was craving the melted Peanut Butter topping so I got the sundae with Oreo, peanut butter and Heath. We really enjoyed our trip and we will definitely return! read more

We had dinner nearby and noticed this new ice cream shop and gave it a try. The inside is very cute with comfy seating areas. I got back-raspberry cheesecake and my friend got mint Oreo.
