    Mangonada
    Sarah B.

I typically love this place, and had a not great experience a couple weeks ago, but chalked it up to a missed moment since it's usually so good. Unfortunately, I feel like it's the common now I placed a pick up order and grabbed my order before grabbing groceries. They were busy so I expected it to take slightly longer than anticipated. I get the mangonada every time, and this time it was the worst it's been. I love chamoy, don't get me wrong. But mine tonight was 1 part chamoy to 1 part mango ice cream and it did not hit, at all. On top of that, I had paid extra for watermelon to be added and there wasn't any, and absolutely every piece of the mango was hard and unripe. The watermelon agua Fresca hit like always though. Just don't think it's worth the $11 it costs now

Was trying to find a spot for me to take my lunch and ran across this gem. Found a spot to park and walked. Omg!!! From the moment I stepped foot onto the patio area, I was in awe of how nice it looks. It instantly put me in the mind of somewhere warm like Arizona. From the greenery adorning the fence to the green turf to the lights to the outdoor patio sets, it's very soothing and relaxing. I couldn't wait to get back outside to sit and bask in the aesthetics of this ice cream shop. Now let's make our way inside. I don't know where to begin. All I'm going to says is, you must see and experience for yourself!!! Whoever designed the layout knows what they are doing. I could hardly make my way to the counter for trying to see all the cute pieces of furniture, neon light signs, greenery, etc. So I made my way to the counter and was overcome by the selections of ice cream. How do you choose just one or two? I walked both counters and seen they had Horchata. I asked to sample and it was just how I imagined. I struggled with just the ice cream or if I wanted a shake. The young lady at the counter was very helpful with me trying to decide. I opted for an Horchata with strawberries. I will definitely be back! I had no idea they had been open for about a year or so and honestly, didn't know they existed. This is the perfect spot for the family after dinner or before. Also, a cute spot for date day/night. Overall, it's good for whatever you want it to be. You can never go wrong with ice cream!!!

    Mangonada strawberry-watermelon

I ordered the strawberry/watermelon mangonada special and they gave me the mango one, they fixed it but then I saw they messed up someone's else's order, so two mess ups in 15mins can be due to the workers being very young teenagers. Anyways my strawberry special tasted awful it tasted so artificial. I also ordered the sushi boat strawberry cheesecake and there was no cheesecake whatsoever, I wouldn't come back honestly.

This is such a cute place. I've been here before and the ice cream was so good. This time I tried the Limón Agua Fresca and treated hubby to the Oreo Ice Cream. Plenty of sitting (inside and outside) and the staff is friendly.

I have driven by this 100 times and I had no idea that it was a Mexican dessert shop! I love sweet and savory treats so I had to stop on. This place is adorable!! Sure instagram worthy with lots of places to take photos and hangout for a bit. I got a mangonada and saw that there is so much stuff on the menu!! Lots of goodies for me to try at a future date. I'll definitely be back

Paradise M.X. Has been on my to try list for a while now! I follow their instagram page and they always post so many delicious looking desserts! I made my first visit with my kids and they ordered kid cones. One with Superman ice cream and a strawberry cone and one with Cookie Monster ice cream and a chocolate dipped cone. The portions were huge! Definitely worth the kid cone prices. I also sampled a vodka ice cream! It was deliciously sweet with an alcoholic punch at the end! They have so many dessert choices: like crepes, ice cream topped donuts, boba tea, and Hispanic desserts that you'll fall in love with! Decor is so cute! So many places to sit for a great photo opt. They also have a game shelf which my kids loved. We played dominos for the first time. I also saw savory options in the menu like nachos! You'll absolutely want to try this spot.

Very interesting menu with lots of options, so many things looked good and it was hard to decide. I got the pineapple Agua fresca, they had lots of flavors to choose from. The Agua fresca was excellent and I liked that it wasn't filled mostly with ice. My husband got the Nanche icecream which was great as well. The shop itself was very cute and there was lots of seating, great spot for studying or a get together with the girl. Service was great as well. Highly recommend, will be back to try something else on the menu!

Nice set up. I wasn't greeted when we walked in. I appreciated the fact that the workers constantly changed their gloves. It wasn't super busy inside but it looked as if they were busy with to-go orders. One couple waited at the counter for a few minutes. No greeting or anything, so they walked out. They also have a nice outdoor area. The ice cream was yummy. You'll definitely get your money's worth.

    spicy nachos

first time coming here and I didn't have a good experience, by the time everything was ready the crepe was watery and cold and supposedly came with cream cheese but had none , nachos had a pound of mayo and cheese , the employee making the crepe didn't have gloves on and took the crepe out with her bare hand , maybe just went on a bad day.

What an adorable spot on the south side of Indianapolis! You'll satisfy your sweet tooth here with a wide range of drinks, ice cream, crepes and more. I stopped in for an aqua fresca and it was very refreshing and tasted amazing. The portion size is huge! It lasted me all day and was around $8. The decor is very trendy and instagrammable with lots of greenery and cute photo backdrops. Can't wait to go back to try other things.

We had the strawberry crepe & the tres leche mini pancakes & ice cream! Everything was so good ! It was ready relatively quickly & the service is quick. We ordered on the kiosk which helps with efficiency . The decor & florals are very summer/springtime-like , so it hat was nice during these Indiana winters . We plan to return!

Got a chance to try the ice cream today at ParadiseMx. It's so cute! What a fun place. Amazingly creamy and tasted very fresh. The waffle cone was fresh and crispy. They also offer crepes and many other fun dessert options too. If you're looking for an "instagramable" place, this hits that too. Nicely decorated and lots of good places to sit, good size place. Service was fast and friendly.

What a great find!!!! My daughter sent me this spot a few months ago after they opened; so it's been on our list. We finally had some time and decided to take a drive to the south side of Indianapolis and try it out. It's sooooo cute! Parking is a bit tight and awkward, but there is plenty of parking around the plaza. We walked in and were immediately greeted which was great. The menu is in both English and Spanish which was nice. We each ordered different ice cream flavors and then found a seat to partake. I noticed looking around there is a cart in the back with board games available for use. There were a couple of people inside playing jenga which is how we located the cart in the first place. The menu is full of all types of ice cream treats plus a couple of food items as well. If you're on the south side stop in and check it out! Pricing is affordable as I spent under $15 for the 3 of us to enjoy ice cream and both my girls added sprinkles to theirs.

All their offerings are Gluten Free which we're used to eating and we think is just as tasty as wheat flour food. F&I cafe has very hip, clean and comfortable decor. They have a pretty extensive menu leaning towards German fare. We ordered the Spinach Feta Quiche stack of the day with warm German potato salad as our side and both items were delicious! The owner came out to greet us and she was very gracious. One thing I especially liked was no paper napkins! They use damask cloth napkins thus no paper waste! Always excited to try…read morea #NewToMe place and also one that is gluten free, as my dining companions need that for medical reasons. The inside is bright and comfortable. There are a variety of tables, also some comfy corner chairs. You order at the counter then they'll bring food to you. We all got (plain) coffee. There's a small sugar station on the end of the counter, but you have to ask for cream. I also told a staff member none of us had been there before, and asked were there coffee refills (since the rest was specialty coffee drinks) or do we pay? She said we can have one refill if we come up. My friends got gluten free egg/biscuit sandwiches. The hubs got a crepe with strawberries, bananas and more in it. I ordered the Galette Bretonne - which is described as "a savory light Buckwheat crepe with City ham, Gruyere cheese, with sunny side up egg" and also comes with a side salad. Our food came fairly quickly. The crepe was visually pretty. The biscuit sandwiches looked like they had nice fluffy biscuits (and, gluten free!) - but they were on the small side (smaller than an egg mcmuffin). My galette looked nice but not like the photo (see pics of mine & one from their web) - and the egg inside was well done, definitely not sunny side up or even medium. I don't mind harder cooked eggs, but the whole effect was very dry, so I went to the counter to ask for some syrup. The server told me that he would have to charge me for it. I said fine, yes please, because my dish is so dry it's unedible without it. So he went back in the kitchen and did bring me out a small side dish of syrup (see also pic of that, for size). I had my credit card ready, but he said "this one's on me." I thanked him and sat down to eat. ... and yes, that syrup was just the trick to make the dish delicious! So this is the thing that makes a whole experience "meh" as opposed to "really nice": Between me & my hubs, our food and plain coffees were $42. (My friends paid separately for theirs.) For that price and just counter service, if a guest asks for a small side of syrup for the food, there should not be a side charge. I think the server who gave it to me realized that (but I would have paid it anyway because the meal was just too dry without it) ... But here's the thing - there was another staff member at the counter when my server gave me that little side of syrup. She heard him say "no charge this time," and her expression absolutely changed, and she looked mad that he did not charge me, and like she was about to say something (but didn't). Guess what? I absolutely saw that. And I totally feel like she was not only mad, but also that he might get reprimanded for it. (Might I add, we were also there when it was NOT busy at all, so there was nothing about the atmosphere that was rushed or hectic - although that souldn't matter, either.) And yes, of course when I went back to the table, I relayed that story to my other 3 companions. A little (little!) customer service goes a long way. And also is easily a deciding factor of whether or not a place gets a revisit. There are so many other places to try. #ReviewsByRL
