Stopped by here one day while in Greenwood and I was excited to try it. When we walked in I just knew I wouldn't purchase anything, and my friend knew the same thing. First off, the parking lot is a little on the watch your surroundings and lock your doors type of vibe. When you enter the establishment, it's a large space. Some of the tables are too close to the register but what thre us off is the pile of trash waiting to cleared nearvthe front door. Immediately, we were like NOPE, not doing it. After this, we walked around and got vibes of a clean if you feel like it type of vibe. The food area was messy and they didn't seem to care. There were a couple of cute photo opportunities but we couldn't do it. In the way out we saw all kind of spider webs. Will I be back? NO! Should you try it? I don't know ‍ I base this review only off of cleanliness. I don't know how the dessert is. read more

To begin with, the place was very neat and clean, which I always appreciate. Moreover, they offer outdoor seating along with cards and board games, which adds a fun and relaxed vibe if you're looking to hang out. However, my boyfriend and I went around 8pm, and they close at 9pm. The associate told us that we could ONLY order ice cream, which honestly felt a little off considering they still had an hour left before closing. Furthermore, we originally came in for a crepe and some mini pancakes, but were told we couldn't order them at that time. Because of that, my boyfriend didn't end up getting anything at all. In addition, I did order a mangonada, and I will say it was very good, so I can definitely give them credit for that. On top of that, the limited menu so close to closing was disappointing and kind of took away from the overall experience. I'm not sure if I'll be back after what happened. read more

Paradise is the perfect spot if you want a sweet treat. I didn't realize they also have savory items as well. The menu is so large so I feel it's good if you want a variety. It's so cute inside like there are a few spots to take cute pictures or to sit. They have swings inside it's so perfect for instagram. Service is great they tensile fast and knowledgeable of the menu. I loved the mini pancakes but the ice cream is delicious also. read more

I was dilly dallying in Greenwood this weekend and before heading home, I wanted to check out Paradise MX. I learned about Paradise MX from my nail tech a few months ago. She's been dying to check this place out and since I was in Greenwood, why not? Paradise MX is located in a strip with other stores and as soon as I got out of the car, I immediately noticed how much trash was scattered across the parking lot. I understand this issue might not be Paradise MX's responsibility, but if all the store managers in that area pitched in and cleaned the parking lot up, it's a win for everyone, including customers. Unfortunately, my first impression of Paradise MX didn't turn around. The trash area by the front door had several items stacked up on its counter when the trash can is right there. Tables had crumbs all over them. Cobwebs in the window, and the hand sanitizer station is rusted, which means these areas are not cleaned regularly. After noticing several cleaning issues, we decided to leave without purchasing anything. If the store front is not clean where customers are, I can't imagine what the kitchen + back counter looks like. First impressions are everything, and unfortunately, Paradise MX fell short. Based on my experience, I highly doubt I'll be returning. read more

I ordered the small mangonada and it was absolutely delicious! My friend ordered the pistachio taco and she loved it! Ample parking and lots of seating, the place is really cute on the inside which makes it great for photo ops! We came in about an hour and half before they close and it was pretty quiet and empty. They were friendly and helped me find an option that was dairy free. They have dairy free sorbet ice cream. read more

I typically love this place, and had a not great experience a couple weeks ago, but chalked it up to a missed moment since it's usually so good. Unfortunately, I feel like it's the common now I placed a pick up order and grabbed my order before grabbing groceries. They were busy so I expected it to take slightly longer than anticipated. I get the mangonada every time, and this time it was the worst it's been. I love chamoy, don't get me wrong. But mine tonight was 1 part chamoy to 1 part mango ice cream and it did not hit, at all. On top of that, I had paid extra for watermelon to be added and there wasn't any, and absolutely every piece of the mango was hard and unripe. The watermelon agua Fresca hit like always though. Just don't think it's worth the $11 it costs now read more

Was trying to find a spot for me to take my lunch and ran across this gem. Found a spot to park and walked. Omg!!! From the moment I stepped foot onto the patio area, I was in awe of how nice it looks. It instantly put me in the mind of somewhere warm like Arizona. From the greenery adorning the fence to the green turf to the lights to the outdoor patio sets, it's very soothing and relaxing. I couldn't wait to get back outside to sit and bask in the aesthetics of this ice cream shop. Now let's make our way inside. I don't know where to begin. All I'm going to says is, you must see and experience for yourself!!! Whoever designed the layout knows what they are doing. I could hardly make my way to the counter for trying to see all the cute pieces of furniture, neon light signs, greenery, etc. So I made my way to the counter and was overcome by the selections of ice cream. How do you choose just one or two? I walked both counters and seen they had Horchata. I asked to sample and it was just how I imagined. I struggled with just the ice cream or if I wanted a shake. The young lady at the counter was very helpful with me trying to decide. I opted for an Horchata with strawberries. I will definitely be back! I had no idea they had been open for about a year or so and honestly, didn't know they existed. This is the perfect spot for the family after dinner or before. Also, a cute spot for date day/night. Overall, it's good for whatever you want it to be. You can never go wrong with ice cream!!! read more

I ordered the strawberry/watermelon mangonada special and they gave me the mango one, they fixed it but then I saw they messed up someone's else's order, so two mess ups in 15mins can be due to the workers being very young teenagers. Anyways my strawberry special tasted awful it tasted so artificial. I also ordered the sushi boat strawberry cheesecake and there was no cheesecake whatsoever, I wouldn't come back honestly. read more

Paradise M.X. Has been on my to try list for a while now! I follow their instagram page and they always post so many delicious looking desserts! I made my first visit with my kids and they ordered kid cones. One with Superman ice cream and a strawberry cone and one with Cookie Monster ice cream and a chocolate dipped cone. The portions were huge! Definitely worth the kid cone prices. I also sampled a vodka ice cream! It was deliciously sweet with an alcoholic punch at the end! They have so many dessert choices: like crepes, ice cream topped donuts, boba tea, and Hispanic desserts that you'll fall in love with! Decor is so cute! So many places to sit for a great photo opt. They also have a game shelf which my kids loved. We played dominos for the first time. I also saw savory options in the menu like nachos! You'll absolutely want to try this spot. read more

Very interesting menu with lots of options, so many things looked good and it was hard to decide. I got the pineapple Agua fresca, they had lots of flavors to choose from. The Agua fresca was excellent and I liked that it wasn't filled mostly with ice. My husband got the Nanche icecream which was great as well. The shop itself was very cute and there was lots of seating, great spot for studying or a get together with the girl. Service was great as well. Highly recommend, will be back to try something else on the menu! read more

What an adorable spot on the south side of Indianapolis! You'll satisfy your sweet tooth here with a wide range of drinks, ice cream, crepes and more. I stopped in for an aqua fresca and it was very refreshing and tasted amazing. The portion size is huge! It lasted me all day and was around $8. Nice set up. I wasn't greeted when we walked in. I appreciated the fact that the workers constantly changed their gloves. It wasn't super busy inside but it looked as if they were busy with to-go orders. One couple waited at the counter for a few minutes. No greeting or anything, so they walked out. They also have a nice outdoor area. The ice cream was yummy. You'll definitely get your money's worth. read more

You will find this hidden gem at the end of a little strip mall. There is a few parking spots available in the small lot that it shares with the other business in the strip mall. It is a very trendy place. From the outside, the looks like it is not completely opened yet. They do not even have a permanent sign. There is just a banner that marks it. Inside, they have a decent sized dinning area with bar seating that looks out the window and tables/chairs. It is a very clean establishment, with a couple of Instagram photo ops. They have Mexican music playing throughout the dining area. The main menu board is in Spanish, but they have printed English menus available at the counter. Also the woman working the counter spoke both Spanish and English, so it was easy to communicate and get suggestions. You will find coolers at the counter, on each side of the register, full of their delicious ice cream. It looked really good. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. The woman that assisted me provided suggestions. This place has a lot of treats to offer, including ice cream, street corn, pancakes and many other fresh fruit based concoctions. It was hard to choose, but I ended up getting the tres leches pancakes and a changi mango. It took about 8 minutes for them to prepare my food and a few words that come to mind, that perfectly describe what I did to my tres leches are devour, engulfed, inhaled and annihilated. It was so good, the fruit was fresh, the little pancakes were delicious. I highly recommend it. The changi mango was pretty good too. I had to eat it after I got home though, because the tres leches filled me up. This is a very nice spot to treat yourself to. They have some very delicious treats. They even have some off menu items that pop up on occasion, so be sure to inquire about them. This is definitely the place to be. I cannot wait to make it back here and recommend you do the same. read more

What a great find!!!! My daughter sent me this spot a few months ago after they opened; so it's been on our list. We finally had some time and decided to take a drive to the south side of Indianapolis and try it out. It's sooooo cute! Parking is a bit tight and awkward, but there is plenty of parking around the plaza. We walked in and were immediately greeted which was great. The menu is in both English and Spanish which was nice. We each ordered different ice cream flavors and then found a seat to partake. I noticed looking around there is a cart in the back with board games available for use. There were a couple of people inside playing jenga which is how we located the cart in the first place. The menu is full of all types of ice cream treats plus a couple of food items as well. If you're on the south side stop in and check it out! Pricing is affordable as I spent under $15 for the 3 of us to enjoy ice cream and both my girls added sprinkles to theirs. read more

Visited Paradise MX on their opening weekend and it was great! This place is primarily a Mexican ice cream shop that offers sweets like crepes and waffles. In addition to sweets, they also offer savory Mexican comfort snacks like a Doriloco which is what we had. It was good and something you'd find either in Mexico or California. We also had the Chango mango which was mango ice cream, lechera (sweetened condensed milk), and almonds (they forgot my almonds). Inside was very green and bright. Very nicely decorated with ample space which was nice. The cons: if you don't know Spanish or aren't familiar with Mexican street snacks, the menu will overwhelm you. Price wise, some of their menu items were steep for what they offer compared to other locations that offer the same. The pros: Very great tasting sweets and visually eye pleasing. It is nice knowing that the Hispanic population on the south side now has a spot to go for comfort food and Mexican style food ice cream. Verdict: Overall it's a good spot to visit and I will be back to try some other offerings from their menu. Don't be afraid to ask questions regarding the menu in order to make sure you get exactly what you want. Cool spot to stop at for some ice cream during the warmer days. read more

talk about insta-worthy. this place is so cute! everything in the building is new and there is a lot of room to spread out inside the building. there is outdoor seating too that is covered and stays relatively cool. paradise m.x is sweet heavy. they have a menu on a tv in the dining area so you can decide what to order. i ordered the mini tres leches and the esquite (cup of corn) to share with a friend. the mini tres leches was sweet and had the perfect amount of fruit to have a piece in every bite. the mini pancakes are covered in a sweet milk and tbh i could have drank the left over milk off the plate lol. it was sooo good. the esquite left some to be desired. the corn seemed canned and had little chilis (not spicy) throughout the cup. the esquite was not spicy so i did end up adding more seasoning. i definitely will come back and visit. i want to try the waffle dessert. read more

I've been here a couple times now and the service is just not there. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time because it's not easy opening a new place. However, if it takes 40 minutes to get a crepe and an ice cream it's just not worth it to me. Plus, the customer service isn't there either. The food is good but NO WHERE NEAR that good. read more
