To begin with, the place was very neat and clean, which I always appreciate. Moreover, they offer outdoor seating along with cards and board games, which adds a fun and relaxed vibe if you're looking to hang out. However, my boyfriend and I went around 8pm, and they close at 9pm. The associate told us that we could ONLY order ice cream, which honestly felt a little off considering they still had an hour left before closing. Furthermore, we originally came in for a crepe and some mini pancakes, but were told we couldn't order them at that time. Because of that, my boyfriend didn't end up getting anything at all. In addition, I did order a mangonada, and I will say it was very good, so I can definitely give them credit for that. On top of that, the limited menu so close to closing was disappointing and kind of took away from the overall experience. I'm not sure if I'll be back after what happened. read more

Ample parking and lots of seating, the place is really cute on the inside which makes it great for photo ops! We came in about an hour and half before they close and it was pretty quiet and empty. I typically love this place, and had a not great experience a couple weeks ago, but chalked it up to a missed moment since it's usually so good. Unfortunately, I feel like it's the common now I placed a pick up order and grabbed my order before grabbing groceries. They were busy so I expected it to take slightly longer than anticipated. I get the mangonada every time, and this time it was the worst it's been. I love chamoy, don't get me wrong. But mine tonight was 1 part chamoy to 1 part mango ice cream and it did not hit, at all. On top of that, I had paid extra for watermelon to be added and there wasn't any, and absolutely every piece of the mango was hard and unripe. The watermelon agua Fresca hit like always though. I ordered the strawberry/watermelon mangonada special and they gave me the mango one, they fixed it but then I saw they messed up someone's else's order, so two mess ups in 15mins can be due to the workers being very young teenagers. I made my first visit with my kids and they ordered kid cones. One with Superman ice cream and a strawberry cone and one with Cookie Monster ice cream and a chocolate dipped cone. You will find this hidden gem at the end of a little strip mall. There is a few parking spots available in the small lot that it shares with the other business in the strip mall. It is a very trendy place. From the outside, the looks like it is not completely opened yet. They do not even have a permanent sign. There is just a banner that marks it. Inside, they have a decent sized dinning area with bar seating that looks out the window and tables/chairs. It is a very clean establishment, with a couple of Instagram photo ops. They have Mexican music playing throughout the dining area. The main menu board is in Spanish, but they have printed English menus available at the counter. Also the woman working the counter spoke both Spanish and English, so it was easy to communicate and get suggestions. You will find coolers at the counter, on each side of the register, full of their delicious ice cream. It looked really good. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. The woman that assisted me provided suggestions. This place has a lot of treats to offer, including ice cream, street corn, pancakes and many other fresh fruit based concoctions. It was hard to choose, but I ended up getting the tres leches pancakes and a changi mango. It took about 8 minutes for them to prepare my food and a few words that come to mind, that perfectly describe what I did to my tres leches are devour, engulfed, inhaled and annihilated. It was so good, the fruit was fresh, the little pancakes were delicious. I highly recommend it. The changi mango was pretty good too. I had to eat it after I got home though, because the tres leches filled me up. This is a very nice spot to treat yourself to. They have some very delicious treats. They even have some off menu items that pop up on occasion, so be sure to inquire about them. This is definitely the place to be. What a great find!!!! My daughter sent me this spot a few months ago after they opened; so it's been on our list. We finally had some time and decided to take a drive to the south side of Indianapolis and try it out. It's sooooo cute! Parking is a bit tight and awkward, but there is plenty of parking around the plaza. We walked in and were immediately greeted which was great. The menu is in both English and Spanish which was nice. We each ordered different ice cream flavors and then found a seat to partake. I noticed looking around there is a cart in the back with board games available for use. There were a couple of people inside playing jenga which is how we located the cart in the first place. The menu is full of all types of ice cream treats plus a couple of food items as well. Visited Paradise MX on their opening weekend and it was great! This place is primarily a Mexican ice cream shop that offers sweets like crepes and waffles. In addition to sweets, they also offer savory Mexican comfort snacks like a Doriloco which is what we had. It was good and something you'd find either in Mexico or California. We also had the Chango mango which was mango ice cream, lechera (sweetened condensed milk), and almonds (they forgot my almonds). Inside was very green and bright. Very nicely decorated with ample space which was nice. The cons: if you don't know Spanish or aren't familiar with Mexican street snacks, the menu will overwhelm you. Price wise, some of their menu items were steep for what they offer compared to other locations that offer the same. The pros: Very great tasting sweets and visually eye pleasing. It is nice knowing that the Hispanic population on the south side now has a spot to go for comfort food and Mexican style food ice cream. Verdict: Overall it's a good spot to visit and I will be back to try some other offerings from their menu. Don't be afraid to ask questions regarding the menu in order to make sure you get exactly what you want. Cool spot to stop at for some ice cream during the warmer days. read more

talk about insta-worthy. this place is so cute! everything in the building is new and there is a lot of room to spread out inside the building. there is outdoor seating too that is covered and stays relatively cool. paradise m.x is sweet heavy. they have a menu on a tv in the dining area so you can decide what to order. i ordered the mini tres leches and the esquite (cup of corn) to share with a friend. the mini tres leches was sweet and had the perfect amount of fruit to have a piece in every bite. the mini pancakes are covered in a sweet milk and tbh i could have drank the left over milk off the plate lol. it was sooo good. the esquite left some to be desired. the corn seemed canned and had little chilis (not spicy) throughout the cup. the esquite was not spicy so i did end up adding more seasoning. i definitely will come back and visit. i want to try the waffle dessert. read more
