I was needing some lunch in the Dublin area after spending the early afternoon saying bye to work. It was a Friday during lent so I needed some fish. We decided Pacific Catch would be a lovely option as it's been a while since I've gone. L O C A T I O N Pacific Catch is in the Persimmon Place shopping area closer to Chipotle side than the Starbucks side. So in the middle. Parking is shared by all the shops and restaurants and can be crazy during lunch. I N S I D E I could see there was plenty of seating inside including a bar as well as options to sit outside. I saw a group sitting outside because of their furry companion. So pet friendly! M E N U The menu has a variety of seafood items. We opted to get the mixed catch as we do like a sampler of items as well as a taco. This time around, we ordered to go. Easily ordered when we were there. It did take some time to get the food, but it was quite busy this rainy day. The mixed catch would have been better if eaten there. It took about 5-10 minutes before we started to eat our food and the fries were not crisp same with the other seafood. It was just overall...just okay. The yellow tail taco was definitely the winner here. Full of flavor. O V E R A L L I've gone to other Pacific Catch locations before. I remember them having a California roll sushi bowl which I don't think is on the menu anymore which is a bummer. But perhaps I'll stick to their bowls next time and try it again and re-review because I was just a little disappointed with the mixed catch this time around. I think if you're looking for fried fish and chips, I would eat in versus taking it home. It is nice to have a seafood focused place, perhaps I just need to explore the menu more. Every time I come here, I'm lucky enough to get the same server -- Mickey -- and she's honestly the best part of the experience! Her vibe is always on point, she brings such good energy, and she makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. The food? The drinks do take a little longer to arrive, but honestly, the atmosphere, the service, and the quality of the food more than make up for it. Ok pacific catch...I see you. I've never been to one before and I thought it was like a chipotle style place. It's a whole restaurant! I was surprised. So we sat inside and right off it's a clean place and looks very marine but classy. The menu is pretty big. They have it all it seems like. We start off with poke nachos and they were delicious. The wonton chips were *chefs kiss* I got a bowl with salmon, rice, greens, and other veggies. I added shrimp to it. The shrimp were kind of bland but not bad. The salmon was really good. The rice was a disappointment. I'm pretty sure it was the quinoa & brown rice Seeds of change packet from Costco. The rest of the table got the taco platters and from what I can gather they were all really good. The fish taco was nicely seasoned and not greasy or overly breaded. The shrimp taco was breaded which doesn't need to be hut still decent. The black beans were really good but after seeing the rice, I'm going to assume they're from the can and not freshly made. Overall it wasn't a bad experience and despite the rice I'd go back and get something different. read more

My husband and I always enjoy coming to pacific catch for happy hour! Food is usually good and service is great as well. The happy hour menu has changed a few times this past year but we always get the sticky ribs, coconut shrimp and guaca-poke. The sticky ribs are sometimes super tender and other times slightly over cooked, but it's one of our favorite items to order when we are here for HH. Happy hour is from 4-6 Mon to Friday. read more

My husband and I used to frequent this restaurant quite a bit and it was good. So I went to lunch with a friend a couple days ago. The first thing I noticed when entering the restaurant was a strong smell of rancid oil. Totally off putting. This means they use cheap oil repeatedly to fry in it. We sat outside! I had two tacos, halibut and steak. The steak one was good and beef tender. Halibut was ok. My friend had a platter with variety of items, shrimp(deep fried in said oil!) it was ok. Overall quite a disappointment from previous experiences. Maybe dinner menu is of better quality. read more

Made it for happy hour! Pacific Catch is located at the Persimmon Place in Dublin. Parking can be a bit tricky during the lunch hour or the weekends. We parked a bit further away and had no problems with finding a spot. We ordered a couple of drinks and the pupu platter to start with. The platter was a good size and I like how you get a little bit of everything to try. The sticky ribs were a bit dry so I wouldn't order that again. Everything else was fine. For entrees, we ordered the Japanese poke bowl and two piece fish and chips. Both were fresh tasting and delicious. Great service and I would come back to try their other dishes! read more

People who came in after us were served food before we were even asked for our order meanwhile we were hungry. I was clear that I had a gluten allergy and ordered guacamole with gluten free chips which was on the menu. When the chips were delivered I again confirmed with staff they were the gluten free ones. Long story short they were not the gluten free chips. The server came out after we started eating them to tell us but then said it was ok because they were "still corn just from their fryer". I said I don't think they are gluten free and she said she would send someone out to speak with me which never happened. I almost started this review by saying "thanks for the diarrhea". We arrived and were seated promptly. Our waitress, Mickey, came to the table right away with water and took our drink order. The restaurant's ambiance is definitely a 10/10 with soft lighting and music that isn't too loud, it made for a really comfortable dining experience. We started with the Korean BBQ ribs, which came out quickly and were delicious. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl (small portion), which was the perfect size for me. The chicken was flavorful, though the mushrooms and broccoli could've used some seasoning but after asking for salt and pepper, it was a little better. He ordered the Korean Steak Plate and enjoyed it with no complaints. I would definitely go again! The manager mentioned a new menu launching next week, so I'm excited to come back and try it out. The SEARED BAJA fish taco here usually has a nice juicey piece of fish, usually pretty plump with a decent amount of fixings. CRISPY BAJA SHRIMP tacos and CRISPI BAJA fish tacos are balanced, not overly battered and cooked well; crisp but still juicey on the inside. Slight point deduction as they go fairly light on the sauce. A little more sauce to moisten the cabbage and add a bit more kick to each bite. Less sauce results in unbalanced bites. Wife got WEST COAST SALMON bowl. Reports are the fish was cooked well and the bowl provides vegetarians a heavy dose of vegetables like radish, cucumber, cauliflower and avocado. Added in some Thai Brussels which have a delicious glaze to them balanced by a little char, which makes them actually pretty incredible. We ordered in, so no report on ambiance or service. Overall a very good choice if youre craving fish or seafood. Slight point reduction because it is very very pricey but the quality is there and the portioning is actually decent. Tacos are much bigger than typical street taco size. And you get a little fries and a tiny cup of black beans. read more

I chose to take my Dad out to Pacific Catch to casually unwind after the holidays. Happy Hour runs from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on weekdays which I made reservations for. Pacific Catch is a west coast chain and most restaurants are styled the same way. Spacious, nautical decor, and a modern yet minimal island vibe to it. Our server was the sweetest--I appreciated her fun attitude and helpful suggestions. All of our food and drinks came out warm and swiftly. I love that they're a sustainable seafood restaurant with a hint of Pacific Rim to it. My Dad ordered the Coconut Shrimp off the happy hour menu and happily ate each piece. For dinner, he had the Rising Sun Specialty Roll which he thought was fine. I had a Small West Coast Style Grilled Kanpachi. For a small size, it was a decent portion. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't there--my fish was dry, the dish wasn't seasoned or flavorful, and my brown rice and quinoa were hard and overcooked. It's a hit or miss with each item and location. Pacific Catch is a chain I wouldn't recommend but also wouldn't have hesitations if someone were to suggest dining here. The Dublin location is inside Persimmon Place with plenty of free parking in the plaza. I'd say there's room for improvement but it sufficed. read more

I've came here a couple times. My most recent experience: I ordered the salmon crispy rice which was pretty good! Additionally, their most popular roll I believe it has the word "firecracker" in it was bomb. Those two were my favorite. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp tacos. I should've gotten them battered instead but usually grilled is my go to. They were a little more soggy for my liking and the salad tasted like edamame & veggies soaked in ranch. A big no no for me. Maybe I'll give them another chance on the quality of food. On the bright side, my server was friendly, quick, and attentive to our needs. The indoor and outdoor seating arrangements are cute. We did come on a late night rush post Christmas shopping so that probably factors in the dishes quality. Other than that, I would come back for some poke nachos & a good cocktail! My husband and I were in town for our daughter's RN graduation. My husband had been to the Mountain View location many years ago and remembered that the food was very delicious. We were greeted by Serena and Cece, (I think that was her name) who were both super informative and sweet! We enjoyed our quickly served beer and a very dirty dry, delicious, chilled martini (fresh with three huge olives), the best martini I've ever had. We also ordered the lobster roll, which melted in our mouths, Korean BBQ ribs, a side salad, the Pupu Platter, the best coleslaw I've had in years, and delicious dessert and coffee. We had a blast talking to the staff; the food is fresh and delicious with lots of great flavors! My husband and I will definitely be back to try more dishes. We went to Pacific Catch for an early dinner last night. We got right in and our server was very pleasant. I ordered fish and chips, but I'm not crazy about French fries so I asked if I could substitute mashed potatoes. She said yes for a small up charge. When the server brought my plate the fish looked so delicious. I have to say this was the best fried fish I've had in a long time. It was perfectly crispy and the fish tasted fresh. The mashed potatoes were delicious - Hot and creamy. When I got the bill I saw that the up charge for the mashed potatoes was $5 which seems excessive considering that the mashed potatoes and the french fries are the same price as side dishes. Anyhow other than that one surprise this was a perfect visit. The restaurant is well decorated and comfortable, the staff was very friendly, the location is very convenient. I stopped by Pacific Catch on a Friday evening recently. We had been shopping all day and were tired and hungry, but we only wanted appetizers because we had a dinner waiting for us at home. The interior of the restaurant, despite being a chain (or a franchise...not sure which it is) is sort of tranquil and even has decent looking wall decorations. The server was cheerful and easygoing, even after she learned we were only ordering some appetizers and water. I really appreciated it because I know it's not fun for a server to have a small tab on a busy night. We made sure to give her a good tip, to make up for that and because she was great--tip your servers, people, their work is hard and they help ensure your enjoyment of your visit! Anyway, we had some fried calamari and some fried coconut shrimp, both of which were yummy. The server was nice enough to offer an alternate dipping sauce when learning I couldn't eat the one that came with one of the appetizers. We didn't finish everything because neither of us is accustomed to eating fried food and after a while it felt like too much without even a salad to go with it. First off, the Cabo calamari was simply incredible. It was not just your ordinary calamari - oh no! This appetizer had the perfect combination of flavors with the addition of fried chilies and thin slices of fried lemon. It was like a flavor explosion in every bite. I couldn't help but be pleasantly surprised and delighted. Now, let me talk about the course. The food at this location is always fresh and of exceptional quality. We've sworn to never eat at the Walnut Creek location again because nothing compares to the food here. For tonight's feast, we ordered a large POG, which was absolutely refreshing and bursting with tropical flavors. And the Asian chimichurri salad with Kanpachi? Let me tell you, it was like a dance party in my mouth. The combination of the flavors and textures was pure perfection. Even the kids' meals were impressive. The Kid's Teriyaki Bowl with salmon was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the Kid's POG was a hit with its fruity and vibrant taste. This place is never busy. The app is super simple . If you opt to use your birthday info, you get a full size bowl about $20 price point with several to choice from to use. I always get the shrimp avocado rice bean bowl with chips . It's super big , enough for two people and leftovers for one. There is a host station directly to the left of the front entry so pickup is very easily and brought packaging nice and clean in a strong paper back with strong handles . You can't get it wrong because your name and order info is securely stapled onto the bag. They have a nice bar with tvs playing sports not too loud. The menu is fresh seafood obviously healthy which is superb. Next door is habit grill and a vitality bowl place . Lots of parking with Whole Foods and Nordstrom Rack in same shopping center : management here seems to be on top of everything super clean with outside tables too. 5/5 with the app and rewards easily to use and benefit from. read more
