Drove out to Livermore from Castro Valley in search for delicious fish burritos and found it at Ta Con Todo. The staff here is super friendly and cracked jokes with us. We came during the World Cup but it wasn't terribly busy. The food was delicious and the burritos were massive. I loved the crispy fish in my burrito, although I think some sort of sauce could've added a nice flavor to it all. I'd definitely come here again though--they have so many different dishes to try!

The food was solid overall. I had the aguachiles -- the flavor was good, but it was definitely very spicy. If you're sensitive to heat, I'd be cautious ordering it. The texture was a little more grainy than I prefer, but not a dealbreaker. Dessert was the highlight for me. The flan was smooth and really well done, and the fried bananas with lechera were easily my favorite part of the meal. The Exotica margarita stood out too -- refreshing and well-balanced. Service was great, very friendly and attentive. Overall, a solid Mexican spot I'd come back to.

Stopped in again after many years. When they first opened, the food was really good--unfortunately, not the case today. I came for lunch around 2:30 pm and was seated promptly. The restaurant wasn't busy, plenty of open tables. I ordered iced water and was given a menu. Since it was Taco Tuesday ($1 off street tacos), I asked the waitress if their crispy tacos were like a Taco Bell hard shell or the deep-fried type with meat inside (where you open the shell to add salsa). She replied, "Not like Taco Bell." I ordered two crispy tacos and a side house salad with 1000 Island dressing. When the food arrived, the tacos were exactly like Taco Bell--freshly fried, but still not what I was expecting. I was looking for something closer to a Jack in the Box-style fried taco, only better. Sadly, these were nothing special. The side salad was $8.95, very small, and came with just a few slices of cucumber and cherry tomatoes--more like a $4.75 salad. Overall, the food was disappointing compared to my first visit years ago. Sadly, I won't be coming back.

Food was solid! Not mind-blowing but solid. We tried the molcajete and enchiladas divorciadas. The molcajete was pretty good and I loved the chicken in the red sauce. The beef was a little tough though. I wish it came with avocado like the other times I've had molcajete elsewhere but maybe I'm ignorant and that they intentionally don't put avocado or something lolol. The meat options for enchiladas were chicken, beef, or cheese and I chose beef, which ended up being a tad dry. I went on Father's Day and they had a trio walking around and taking song requests. Not sure if they always have this but it was super fun and I loved it! Service was a little spotty and slow at times but I could really tell they were doing their best. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

We drive by this restaurant all the time. Thank goodness it was CINCO DE MAYO and we found the great reviews on yelp. Best , most authentic Mexican food ever. We split the mixed fajitas and it was plenty. The tortillas are hand made and the margaritas the best. We will be back!!!

We were in the neighborhood and getting hungry. Turned to good ole yelp which suggested this place. Checked the reviews and set my GPS to here. We opted to dine in as oppose to sit out to enjoy the nice weather. Ricardo was our waiter and was attentive, checked on us and cleared plates. Place has a wide selection of options for everybody. I ordered the coctel d camaron and unlike other places where they only give you a couple of shrimps, it was loaded and they were no skimpy. Hubs plate was delicious rich in flavor. My daughter's quesadilla was great Highly recommend and kudos to Ricardo.

Ok so after scouring the menus of all of the other Taco places in Livermore, this place had mushroom tacos as well as zucchini/corn tacos. It's so rare to find vegetarian tacos! Let me tell you, my husband said he would order these in the future instead of carne asada!! So flavorful, textures on point. Super happy :) The guacamole was good and the churros were just ok. The chips and salsa were fresh and great. Modelo on draft....what more can you ask for? I'll be checking out their happy hour next time!

Michelada was refreshing. The California Burrito was okay though. Too much potatoes in my opinion.

Always so good here Bean dip, ground been and fish tacos today. We always leave so full but everything we order has always been good. They also have a bucket of beers for $30.

Leather seating and small tables where you can relax and meet up with friends. Our server was friendly who checked on us periodically. Their menu has an interesting blend of choices. They even offer deviled eggs that I hear are pretty spectacular. We ordered the Thai chicken salad and fish tacos. The salad looked quite good and my friend enjoyed it very much. The tacos are on petite, single shells with a piece of fish, avocado and cabbage slaw on each. I happily ate every bite. A side salad would have enhanced this dish. I wish I had ordered an appetizer, like the deviled eggs or brussels sprouts, as it would have rounded out my lunch well and it would have been more filling. I noticed a steady flow of people coming and going. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we were not rushed out by any means. I hadn't seen my friend in person for at least a year so it was nice to sit and just chat in a calm environment. Located directly across First Street from Sauced. This place is another positive addition to downtown Livermore.

Yes, I got here on a Saturday with no reservations. I definitely understood having to wait under those circumstances and I was okay with that. I was told it would be 20 minutes. What I want to focus on is that we were the next group to be seated. There was only two of us. Another group with 4 people walked in about 15 min later after us with no reservations but they were seated almost immediately. The hostess did not acknowledge us nor said anything. Awhile after that I counted 3 different groups leaving - a tota of 8 people. We waited patiently and kept waiting thinking we would be seated. 20 minutes slowly pass by, then another 5, then another 5.. I looked over and saw two tables completely empty. I was literally outside the door after about 45inutes and my phone buzzed. Come to find out that they had 3 open tables available the entire time. The decor is tiki themed along with the drinks however the music playing in the background was jazz. Not sure how that fits the theme. The Wife and I have been there for a couple of Flapper Fridays, which is speakeasy night. Some drinks of that ilk can be too sweet for me, since the original speakeasies were using fruit juice or whatever to mask the awful booze they had available. But you can also order off menu. The first time we went, I ordered a carrot cake that was fantastic. The second time, we ordered bites, including a pizza flatbread, golden potatoes with different accompaniments, and of course another cheesecake. The Wife was able to order cocktails and beautifully served tea! Service was excellent, as they were very accommodating, and could recommend items easily based on our discussion. Savory girls, this one's for you! My friends both enjoyed their tamarind tequila cocktail and the non-alcoholic blackberry sage smash. It didn't really feel like a cohesive bite with the oyster. The melon and cucumber salad had a nice sesame dressing that balanced out the sweet and crunchy bites. I'd skip both of these next time. For our mains we split the radiatori pasta and the steak. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce tasted more like butternut squash instead of sweet corn and tomatoes. It was still good but not quite what we were expecting. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare and the mashed potatoes and herb butter were the ideal pairings. The vibe here is lively, fun, and vibrant. Reservations are definitely highly recommended since it gets so popular. The entire staff is awesome, but a massive shout-out goes to our waitress, Ashley--she was fantastic and provided incredible service throughout the entire night! We ordered a wide variety of dishes to share, and every single one was a hit: * Fritto Marechiaro: A wonderful mix of fresh calamari, jumbo prawns, sliced zucchini, and artichoke hearts. Everything was fried to a light, crispy perfection and paired wonderfully with the signature Locanda Capri sauce. * Pane e Olive: Crisp, fresh baguette from local Wingen Bakery served alongside Locanda's classic olive tapenade. Rich, savory, and the perfect starter bite. * Fiori di Zucca: Delicate zucchini blossoms stuffed with creamy ricotta and mozzarella, served over a rich marinara sauce. These were absolutely delicious and melted in your mouth. * Penne alla Vodka: Tender penne pasta tossed with smoked mozzarella, Parmesan, and cracked pepper in a rich, creamy vodka pink sauce. Yummy and comforting! * Parmigiana di Melanzane: Mamma Carmela's famous eggplant parmigiana layered with melted mozzarella and tomato sauce. Hearty, warm, and bursting with authentic Italian flavor. * Pollo Piccata: Tender organic chicken breast served in a bright, zesty lemon-butter sauce with Sicilian capers, accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and rainbow baby carrots. * Branzino Locanda: Fresh Mediterranean seabass filet lightly breaded with panko and topped with a bright lemon sauce, served with velvety mashed potatoes and rainbow baby carrots. Delicately crispy on the outside and wonderfully flaky inside. * Polpette della Mamma: Homemade beef meatballs cooked to tender perfection, served in a rich marinara sauce with Parmesan cheese and crisp crostini for dipping. Warm, comforting, and packed with flavor. * Beet Salad: A crisp, refreshing mix of wild baby arugula, mixed greens, sweet golden and red beets, tangy goat cheese crumbles, and juicy blood orange slices. * Espresso Martini & Wine: The drinks were top-tier. The espresso martini was amazing, bold, and perfectly balanced. We also ordered a bottle of Collefasani Bacchanalia Falerno del Massico Bianco D.O.C., which was served perfectly chilled--crisp, refreshing, and not too sweet. * Almond Cheesecake: For dessert, we treated ourselves to the almond cheesecake. It was rich, creamy, and served with fresh strawberries and whipped cream--the ideal sweet note to wrap up the night. Overall, it was a fantastic evening filled with great energy, outstanding hospitality, and incredible food.
