I always order a fish taco when I'm trying a new Mexican Restaurant. The girl at the counter took my order and was very friendly. They have inside and outside tables to choose to sit. There were young kids running around and screaming from different families. Ugh. I took my food to my car. It was a longer than usual wait but the food was freshly made! The super taco was 6 dollars and was filling. The fish was grilled perfectly. They piled it high with cabbage and tomatoes which made it very messy but filling. I'll try this place again- hopefully parents will be parenting on my next visit. It was just too much this visit. Yikes. read more

Fiesta Taco is so fabulous!!! I love that they have a full menu of traditional Mexican. The only dish they offer that I personally didn't enjoy was their chicken tortilla soup. The fajitas are amazing (to go pic added), their Suoer Burrito, with the ranchero, also the bomb! The restaurant itself is very cute, tucked away in the corner of a strip mall and parking can be a bear, but it's so worth it! read more

Simply the best Mexican in Pleasanton. Highly recommend the fiesta quesadilla, but everything they make is fantastic!

I'm typically underwhelmed when it comes to Mexican restaurants because they're always missing something. However, Fiesta Taco has checked all the boxes and makes it easy to come back. Their menu is extensive and has room for customizations. The portions are great for the price and the quality is excellent. The service is always top tier, super friendly people. The atmosphere is nostalgic of being in a taqueria in Mexico, lots of authentic decor and a great approach for realness. read more

Recently stopped by for some Mexican food. The menu has been updated as seen on the monitors. Also I notice some remodeling ie the salsa bar and drink station were moved. All good. Today I had the enchilada special plate that includes two enchiladas, rice & beans, drink and chips. I had a cheese and a chicken enchilada. I thought the chicken was on the dry side however I did enjoy the cheese one much more. It's also a nice environment to enjoy a meal. The big screen tvs were showing daytime talk shows. We would say it's alright not bad but the Queso Birria Tacos had a lot of meat it's missing a lot of onions and cilantros, I would say Mexican food in Stockton is better then the bay. Came here with a large group of kids. Everyone ate mostly tacos and burritos. The seating and ordering experience was easy and the big tvs with sports kept everyone occupied. Service was quick for such a large group. The salsa bar is delicious even if average sized in diversity. They do get the avocado verde right with plenty of cilantro. There was a tilapia special which was also solid. Two minor criticisms: I've gotten the veggie burritos before (with no rice) and while quite filling, could use a greater diversity of veggies to stand out. I also tried a few basic tacos. The super taco some kids had did look super but the regular taco could have served the salsa on the side as it overpowered the polo asado that was a little too oily and not charred and al pastor which was also hard to distinguish in flavor. Ordered delivery tonight and just wanted a light dinner so I ordered a sope with carnitas and a side of rice. The sope was very good! I would definitely order that again. The rice was good but seemed a bit overcooked/dry, but I did place my order a little after 8 so maybe it was just the bottom of the pan that's been sitting on warm all day. The salsas were also good! The three stars are because of the chips. They definitely accidentally sprayed the chips with cleaning spray or some chemical. The first couple tortilla chips at the top of the bag tasted normal but then the rest tasted like cleaner, like deep fried in dishwashing liquid. I would've called to let them know of this hazard, but they were already closed. read more

Met up a friend for dinner here. I was super surprised to find out there's a taco spot in Pleasanton that has lengua. Not a lot of places has lengua as a meat option, so very surprised to find one in Pleasanton. I just really wanted tacos, so I figured the best thing to do was a get a taco of every meat. I got the grill shrimp, lengua, carne asada, al pastor, and bbq chicken taco. The grilled shrimp taco was insanely good! They didn't overcook it, and it was very flavorful. I'd probably get 3 of those next time I come in. The lengua was good as well, still not close to the best lengua tacos I've ever had. But the much better than my expectations. Al pastor was good as well, I would pass on the chicken and carne next time. The chips and salsa were good as well, but I don't think it's unlimited chips though. read more

I can only attest to the catering side. First I had a catering event for 40 people. I called a couple of months in advance to ask the usual questions. Price per person? How far in advance to place the order? What comes with the catering. They were very patient and helpful with all the questions. The prices are very fair and there was so much food! It was $17.50 a person. For 40 people, it came with a choice of 4 meats, I switched one out for fajitas veggies for the vegetarians. It also came with beans, rices, lettuce, tortillas, tortilla chips, salsas, sour cream, cheese, and guacamole. Everyone loved the food and they kept asking me where I ordered from. There was so much left over food we made sure everyone that wanted to got to take some home! They delivered on time, and it was all steaming hot! I will definitely use them in the future!! read more

Fiesta taco is our go-to Doordash option when we want to stay in and order a reliable burrito. They're soft, filled well, and have the best salsas. I have ZERO complaints about their burritos. My favorite is the Al pastor super burrito with refried beans- make sure to get their green salsa (it's thick and well seasoned) and their tangy darker salsa as well. This isn't the cream of the crop, authentic hole in the wall taquerias you might find in Hayward/SoCal, but it's very good for the Tri-valley. read more

Very spacious, friendly workers, good food, and lots of options to choose from. They're also reasonably priced. The grilled shrimp is a hit here and a lot of their other options are pretty well done. However, the drop in the star is due to a consensus on almost everyone in my party who ordered a burrito... The contents in the burrito overall was fine, but it was not well mixed. On one end of our burritos, it was just straight up sauce - just sour cream and guac, so that put us off. For me, I ordered the California burrito. Sauce was on one side including all over internally, which normally I wouldn't complain about the well mixed insides with the sour cream and guac, but surprisingly it was almost too much.. then I discovered the fries was all at the other end of the burrito. Dunno if this is a regular thing with the distribution in their burritos, but other than that, the size of the burritos is good for the price. The other options on their menu look appealing too, so I'll probably give it another chance to try something else. read more

Wednesday evening around 6pm-7pm, and there was a diverse crowd of folks eating inside. Always a good sign to me! The ambiance was really nice, with plants and nice decor. We did take-out and ordered two California carne asada burritos and a mango aguas frescas. Came with a bag of tortilla chips and we loaded up at the salsa bar. California burritos : 4/5 Carne asada was tender, flavorful. My only critique was that the portion control was not on par. One burrito was obviously more filled than the other (thicker), and barely had any sour cream. The other burrito was thinner & had too much sour cream for half of it, that it was seeping out. But otherwise, solid burritos for the price! Mango aguas frescas: 5/5 Fresh, not too sweet, not watered down! Very refreshing, and I will get this again. Chips & salsa were great! They were generous with filling the little chip bags! Salsas were delicious. Will definitely come back to try more items! Probably the regular burrito, quesadillas, and the quesabirrias next time. Everything about this is just amazing but the most important stuff and ingredients is the protein and unfortunately the steak was really bad. We came here on quite a warm day in May. No air conditioner (at least any that was on), but they did have the fans running. There is lots of space inside. The menu on display was a bit confusing (a lot of similarly named items and all clustered together). The shrimp fajitas were amazing! Pricier than other Mexican places, but the portion sizes are large and ended up lasting me for the next two meals.Oh and pretty spicy too, so if you can't handle spice, probably ask them to tone it down. Back again lol! After our first awesome experience trying a bean and cheese burrito we decided to step it up a notch and try out a meat. We got a carne asada super burrito with everything. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. The carne asada was very fatty and tasted of low quality. I get it's a low end cut but put some love into it at least. $15 and some change for that was pretty big let down after we had an awesome bean and cheese burrito but the salsa's were still on point!
