Bar and interior is so cute. Food drinks and service were all great. We were able to get in for dinner on a Wednesday evening at peak dinner time with no reservation. Loved the Ahi Noshos and Braised The Soup.

Nosh was good, but didn't exceed expectations. I was 10 min early and I had to wait to be seated until my friend arrived. Service was a bit slow, maybe because it was a Friday night. We ordered calamari for appetizer. I ordered a milk & honey salad with breaded chicken. I was a bit surprised because other than the generous chicken portion (for additional $10), there was very little salad for $18. But, it tasted good! For dessert, we ordered chocolate mousse cake, it tasted good but the texture was that of a mousse cake. I tried to gauge the vibe of the restaurant, but couldn't label it, it was blend of industrial and high end diner. Anyway, it was a good experience. I do recommend this spot!

We went back for a visit to Nosh and hadn't been in a while. The original owners and executive chef are gone, and a new person has taken over (I think she's owned a few other places). The service is still friendly and professional, but I found the food lacking a certain umami. The one standout appetizer, the Tuna Nochos, used to be a must order, but this time it was just okay. The presentation was nice, but it felt like something was missing and I couldn't it my finger on it. The entrees sounded good on paper and were well presented, yet the flavors just didn't hit the mark. I used to come here for happy hour and always knew I'd get a tasty meal. Ever since the changes, though, the food just feels "meh." Maybe I need to give it another go... That's all I got. 3.5 outta 5

The bar filled up super quick on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving . I like the fact that the bar offers half portions of saratoga sparkling, not very common. The bartender greeted us quickly with several menus including dinner coctails and nightly specials. I was offered tastings of two dry reds before deciding. We noticed every bar guest had an order of the ahi tuna nachos. So we fell in line. A half portion is enough to share with crispy airy chips to scoop all of the poke avacado and delicious toppings. Next was a small plate warmed goat cheese honey drizzle with a pickled frise of peppers and endive. The combination of cheese sweet and spice worked. And when I say spice the peppers really delivered heat. The bar seating offers views of a lovely chandelier, sprial stair case, and well presented spirit shelving. Not to mention the staff constantly curating coctails and the sound of ice in a cold shaker. Despite the building crowd the acoustics are balanced when talking with friends. The interior has towering ceilings and a large dining area but there is a warmth once you settle in for the dining experience. Logistics, price extremely reasonable, location prime, accessibility with ease. We street parked with no issue. After several visits I can rely on Nosh being consistent and hospitable.

We came here for happy hour on a Thursday which is 4-6 Tues-Thurs. Not a lot of people there but the kitchen doesn't open until 5. I don't really like that the wine selection and drink selection is bartender choice for happy hour. Makes it harder to make a decision and it takes up more of the bartender time. When you go to a place that has a lot of craft cocktails it slows the service down enough already. Either way I ended up getting the Paloma and my hubby had a modelo. My drink was really good. The Bills game was later that night so we didn't want to order a lot of food so we only got the wings. They were so freaking good and the ranch dressing.....THE RANCH DRESSING!!!! I want to go back and buy some that's how good it is. I'd only eaten here once before a couple years ago but was happy to see it was same bartender. Can't really miss the curly hair. I'll be back next week for happy hour for sure and want to get the ahi noshos and pizza. We also want to go back for dinner while we are still in town. The decor is amazing and the spiral staircase reminds us of one of our favorite houses in San Pedro Belize. Bathrooms were clean although the paper towel dispenser is broken in ladies room. So happy they have men's room and women's room not gender neutral. That may sound weird to some people but I don't like toilet seats being left up etc or thinking about what a guy touches to use the restroom and not wash their hands after. There's plenty of parking out front and parking lot on the side. Good job Nosh. Excited to come back!

Nosh absolutely delivered on every level. The food was nothing short of phenomenal-- we ordered the Korean Sit Down and the Pollo Loco. Both dishes were packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, making the whole experience even better. And the ambience was on point--stylish, warm, and the perfect vibe for dinner with friends. I want to revisit Rochester just to eat here!

Took our good friends from LA visiting here and NOSH didn't disappoint. As a group we shared some various plates such as the Korean sampler with steam buns, ahi tuna nachos, and a few flat bread pizzas - the mushroom was my favorite. Nosh has a unique selection of cocktails everyone seemed to enjoy. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Our group raved about the food saying how good everything was! If your looking for a restaurant to take friends out that are visiting from out of town - make your reservation at least a few weeks in advance online for NOSH! Everything was top notch from the service, ambiance, to the food, and cocktails.

There are not enough good things to say. I travel regularly and tend to eat at higher end restaurants. Nosh has put something really special together. Between their INCREDIBLE food and drinks, I tried three of each and all were insane, and the great service this was one of the better restaurant experiences I've had. I highly recommend coming in and trying their food. RJ and the whole team should be proud of what they're doing. Beyond 5 stars for su

Nosh is still my favorite Rochester restaurant! They have a new owner and chef but many of the classic dishes (like the Ahi Noshos) are still on the menu. Tonight I had the Holy Cannelloni pasta with pork and it was amazing. Very rich flavor but not too heavy. I also tried the Hot Buns (pork belly bao with bulgogi sauce and Asian slaw) and the pork belly was perfect. Crispy on the outside, melt in your mouth goodness on the inside, and the slaw makes a nice textural difference to the soft bao bun. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was outstanding.

    Love the decor.

Beeshaun was a great server and did everything that we needed. I ordered the lobster empanadas and husband ordered the prime pizza. The food took a bit, but Beeshaun kept checking on us. The food was absolutely delicious. I would've given the restaurant a five star, but it was so noisy. We elected to stay, but husband said that if we lived here, he probably would not come back because of the noise. As some of the groups left, it was less noisy. I love the decor, our server was wonderful. The food was wonderful... I was surprised it was so packed for Wednesday night. It is definitely a hopping place and it looks like everybody's having a great time. Just be aware of the noise because I know I have several friends that could not have stayed there.

I wasn't a huge fan of the curry puffs but that is personal preference; this appetizer, which was a valentines day specials, came with two heart shaped puff pastry filled with potatoes, veggies, and chicken. They tasted like they were primarily seasoned with curry powder. Both main dishes were exceptionally tasty. The chuchee fried fish (valentine's day special) was crispy, and the curry was rich in flavor with a nice kick to it. The pad see eew was a very large dish, after we'd eaten our fill it hardly looked like we'd touched the plate. It made a good lunch the next day. If you're a fan of spice, the chili oil it came with was great (flavorful and hot). The thai fried ice cream was perfect for two. Ordering more than one would have been too much (for me). Next time we visit I'd like to order the crispy pork belly, and the mango sticky rice.

The prices on line and in person are at least $2.00 higher on a few items. Some drinks are made with a "twist"but should probably be renamed and not labeled after "Mojito and Sex on the beach". Really terrible taste. We enjoyed the Soju and appetizers unanimously. The worst part to our evening celebration came when 9pm came and we had to leave. The birthday girl left behind present & birthday card. I quickly called the restaurant which was closed by then. I was told they were cleaning and took name & # to call back as they were in the process of cleaning and was going to check with server and clearing person. Well, 4 phone calls later and 1 unresponsive email to the restaurant I was told nothing was left and nothing was found. I can certainly say that isn't so. We all remember the item left behind and was very descriptive. I love supporting small businesses so this is dissapoiting and unacceptable. At least return calls and messages. We won't be returning here and not recommending. Wild Elephant was chosen to come celebrate and we're left with this experience.

I ordered online from the parking lot and went in pretty soon after ordering so I wasnt expecting the food to be ready. I waited in line behind another couple who were waiting to be seated. The place was very busy and it seemed to be a bit understaffed. It took a good 2-3 minutes for the couple to be greeted and eventually seated. I waited another 2+ minutes until the bartender finally greeted me from across the bar. I told them I had a pickup and that I would wait at the bar. I sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before I interrupted the bartender to ask if I could get a drink while I waited. $36 for a double whistlepig on the rocks. Wasn't expecting that. The decor was nice. It really seemed like a nice place and it was packed. The staff was doing g then best they could, but overwhelmed and understaffed. Another 10 mintues went by while I watched TV and waited for my food. As I was finishing my drink about 35 minutes after ordering, the food was ready. We got the egg rolls, which were really deep fried spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce but one of the better things we ordered. Seared Pepper tuna was the best thing we tried. Spice with the citrus flavor of the panzu. Seattle, Osaka, and Manhattan sushi tacos. Innovative yes, flavorful not so much. The white sauce (not sure what dish it was for) saved the tacos for me. Manhattan was the best out of the three, but still nothing special. The Beef Bulgogi spring rolls were almost vegetarian, minus the one thin strip of unmarinated beef. Peanut sauce tasted like peanut butter, no other spices or flavors like a peanut sauce should. I was not impressed. We also got the "Thai Shrimp and Tropical fruit Ceviche" it was missing the pineapple and there was no where near the citrus needed to make a real Ceviche. Meaning they cut up cooked shrimp and put it in a bland fruit salad. Another one that I was not impressed by. Finally mango sticky rice. This wasn't bad and I don't mind Jassberry rice, but if you are going to call it sticky rice, you should have more than a drizzle of sweetened coconut milk in the rice and it needs more than a 1/4 mango. Total came to just under $75 not including tip or the $36 bourbon. Too many really good Sushi, Thai, and Korean resturants to waste my time trying mediocre "fusion". I wouldn't rule out giving them another try, but it won't be anytime soon :(

We were seated at C11 and chose the all-you-can-eat option because we were excited to try a variety of dishes and enjoy a relaxed family meal together. I do want to start by saying that the front hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They greeted us with a smile and created a great first impression that made us feel like we were going to have a wonderful dining experience. Unfortunately, the experience changed once we were seated. Our waitress never greeted us with a smile or any welcoming attitude. Drinks took a very long time to arrive and only came after we repeatedly called her over and reminded her. Each time, she seemed annoyed that we were asking. Our table of four adults was only given one ordering tablet, which meant we all had to share it and add items to the same cart. Because I wanted to try different types of sushi--specifically nigiri I added about 15 pieces to the cart so everyone could sample different varieties. The rest of my family also added their appetizers and sushi choices. When we called the waitress to approve the order, she immediately told us it was "too much," even though each sushi counted as a single order in the system. She warned that any wasted food would be charged and didn't submit the full order. Instead, she only sent one tray of 15 sushi pieces for the entire table. The result was that everyone started eating from my order. Then my husband had to place his order afterward, and we all ended up eating from his as well. Orders were essentially only allowed once the previous items were finished. I suggested that perhaps we should have two tablets, one for my son and daughter-in-law and one for my husband and me, so we could each manage our own orders and make sure everyone got what they wanted. The waitress looked at me as if I had said something unreasonable, rolled her eyes, looked down in irritation, and completely ignored the request. She didn't respond at all, which left me feeling embarrassed in front of my family. I have never felt so humiliated in a restaurant. Because of the way ordering was controlled, I ended up eating items my family had ordered instead of what I actually wanted, and I felt too embarrassed to keep trying to place additional order. The entire meal felt extremely supervised, almost as if we were children being monitored. I also noticed that nearby tables seemed to be having similar issues. Since we had a one-year-old with us, we asked for a high chair, which was eventually provided. However, the robot that delivers food kept bumping into the high chair, making it uncomfortable and unsafe. We eventually decided to hold the baby during dinner, which made the meal even harder to enjoy. The waitress never once asked how anything tasted or whether we were enjoying the meal. Plates were often placed on the table abruptly without explanation of what the dish was. Another issue was portion size: almost everything came in extremely small portions, yet each item counted as a full order in the system. Combined with the restrictions on ordering, it made the all-you-can-eat format feel very limited. The environment itself was also very loud. At one point I even saw a man run after the robot because it didn't give him enough time to grab his food. For context, I strongly believe in tipping well--usually more than 20%. Even though the service was disappointing, I still tipped because I didn't want to create a scene in front of my family. Overall, the experience felt very overpriced for the level of service and enjoyment we received. I have dined at many restaurants and truly enjoy taking my family out to eat, but this is one of the few times I left feeling like the restaurant was more focused on controlling customers than providing hospitality.
