Someone stole my shoes while I was testing on some shoes there! The manager made me wait there for 30 min while they looked for shoes, then told me they would try and refund the specific purchase from half year ago. Of course I paid cash and there was no records, then I was told to wait until Monday from a Saturday so they can decide what to do! Their lack of help is really frustrating. I need a pair of shoes today since someone stole them, and I can't walk out without one out of the store. I am going to return the pair of shoes and never come back to this sketchy place read more

I'm all for grabbing up a good deal on designer duds and there are many to be had here at the Rack, but if you're a compulsive shopper like me.....you may find yourself in trouble! My Top 3 Items I shop for here: 1. premium denim jeans (Lucky, True Religion) 2. fine lingerie (Chantelle, LeMystere, Felina) 3 designer handbags (Betsey Johnson, LAMB) Weekends are very busy and you should expect a wait for a dressing room and at the register. The clearance racks are where you will find the best deals (usually 50% off items already marked down), but be sure to inspect each article of clothing as I have found a few irregulars in the past. Items can vary day to day, so if you see something you really like & absolutely have to have, then go for it! 'Cause chances are it will be gone the next day! read more

This location is definitely one of the more organized Nordy Racks and I frequent it on my lunch breaks. However, I've noticed the sales associates are getting more aggressive as the holidays near. Specifically today, Kristine pretty much tricked me into getting a Nordstrom debit card. It's free and seemingly has no caveats, but I could tell she was giving me long-winded answers when the gist was simply, "yes, Christina, I tricked you into signing up for this card." I have a friend that works at Nordstrom, so I know they get commission from these things. The exchange occurred as follows: I'm waiting in line, Kristine asks if I will be paying with debit or credit. I responded debit, and she said she could take care of my purchase at one of the mobile stations. She was about to charge my card when she said, "would you like to link your debit card number to our system so you can start gathering points?" I assumed they were starting a new system because every other time I've been to Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack, they've asked point blank if I want to open a debit card. So I said sure, not knowing she was actually signing me up for a Nordstrom debit card. I asked her repeatedly how the 'new system' works and she said, "oh it's just swiping your card and the points go to your account that's linked to your debit card." So I kept asking. Then finally she changed her answer to, "Its like swiping a duplicate of this card." Then I said, "So you're signing me up for the debit card right now?" Kristine, slightly abashed, replies, "Yeah....." You win this time, Kristine. But just for future reference, a little more transperancy would be much appreciated. I wasn't against getting a debit card, but it sure would have been nice to forewarn me you were putting more plastic in my wallet. Still feeling a bit uncomfortable with not having any information about the card and with the fact that I had typed in my SSN ("for identity theft prevention" said Kristine...HOW CAN I BELIEVE YOU!?) I called the store manager, Lisa, to sort things out. She was incredibly helpful and kind. read more

I now have an online pair of shoes that don't fit...that they won't take back. Can you say Zippotos.com. Broke up my Nordstrom card & returned my $85.00 cologne. Nordstrom & Rack...I'm done. I'll order from any other site and will never walk into another store...goodbye. read more

Have you seen the other Nordstrom Racks? Well, I been to one in Costa Mesa and this one in Brea is so much nicer. This is a review on comparison between the two. Brea = Cleaner and more organized. I'm hardly a bargain shopper... meaning I have little paitence for going through sale racks, so I find myself appreciating this store. read more

This evening I went to the rack to purchase gifts for Christmas. I had to return a pj set that was gifted to me obviously I didn't have a receipt because the item was a gift. I stood in line for a long while since it's the holiday season I totally understand but when I got up to the register the cashier said no returns, no store credit? I asked even if it was a gift? She responded, " I can't look anything up." Very disappointed! What if my family wanted to return or exchange a gift? We were not offered a gift receipt option doesn't make sense? read more

This is now my new favorite store. I use to go to the one in Huntington Beach since I live out there. However their customer service sucks. Thankfully for Store Managers like Laura A. She alone has restored my faith in customer service and integrity, because she does the right thing, not because she has to; but because it's the right thing to do. She needs to be promoted and maybe take over the store in Huntington Beach. read more

I've been going to this location for more than a decade and Nordstrom rack in costa mesa for about 5 years. Now that it has a new location in Orange, I go there, too sometimes. Out of these 3 Nordstrom Racks, I like the Brea one the least. space: both costa mesa and brea ones are so tight on space. I constantly have to be careful not to bump my cart to the racks or other people. too packed and seem unorganized. selection: seems to have less expensive brand items than in costa mesa one. it is OK in general, but could target wealthy north oc women with better items. check-out line: it is so long! yes, other ones are long, too, but it moves faster as they open up more register...sometimes, I find one good item, but just walk out empty handed because the line is just too long and I don't have time for that. staff: not too helpful. some are just plain rude. I like the clean fitting room and high maximum items allowed in the room. If they improve the selections and space things out more strategically and promote good flow of circulation and train the staff to be more helpful and friendly, shopping experience there would be much better. read more

It's not uncommon to find this Nordstrom Rack busy on the weekends. People seem to really like the place. As for me, it's okay. It doesn't have the selection as the somewhat nearby Rack in Costa Mesa but the store's easier to navigate through. The biggest problem is that with it being technically an outlet store, it's hard to find clothes if you're looking for a certain specific thing. However, it's much nicer than a lot of lutlet places and even some department stores. read more

I also got 75% off shoes here--Coach wedge shoes. Very nice and very comfortable. I don't go to this place very often for the same reasons listed by other yelpers. But when I do go, I don't expect much when it comes to customer service. The workers are usually cranky, except for the cashiers. I drool a little when I see designer items at affordable prices. You do have to control yourself when you shop here and be prepared for the long lines. But it is definitely possible to find great deals! This is the only thing that keeps me coming back. read more

Everything you love about nordstroms, just a lot cheaper. This location is my favorite, very organized and staff is always willing to help you with a smile. They have great selection on kids clothing and shoes. read more

Awesome experience at this location. Whenever I go I always get great customer service. I'd like to give a special thanks to Charlie. He was very attentive and helped me out quite a bit. Also, 4 other employees approached me asking if I needed anything. They were all very friendly and welcoming. read more

This location is definitely one of my favorites. Always clean and a good selection of product and helpful employees. I also like visiting chino hills location too. Today I had to purchase a dress shirt and walk out with it on. The lady sold it to me on the spot with her green shirt and iPhone and took the tags off and even ironed it! Now that is customer service!!! I love getting great brands and product at a great deal with good customer service and this is the place to do it! Awesome read more

So, been shopping Nordstrom Rack on line for years, and because of having an Amazon card was able to access the bargains at the times they were advertised. I don't know what changed, but I am not able to get the download now until 15-20 minutes after the advertised time and the goodies are picked over (by more favorable shoppers) I'm assuming. Tired of it. read more

Who doesn't love a great deal?? I sure do. This is my go-to store when I'm bored and want to kill some time. I always manage to find something. Great prices with a variety of cute clothes to choose from. The sale section is a little crazy and difficult to find cute stuff but the rest of the store is fairly well organized. read more

Maybe it's just my personal shopping preference/style, but it seems to me like the quality of the clothes and products has gone downhill. The past few times I have gone to this location the store has been in disarray especially the sales sections. It makes me feel as if I am shopping in at a TJ Maxx or Marshalls. Not that there is anything wrong with those stores, but the quality Nordstrom's is known for is usually a bit more high end, even their outlet stores. The lines here are always ridiculously long. This is not the place to shop if you need to get in an out, or if you are not willing to wait in line to pay for at least 15 minutes. read more

LONGEST. LINES. EVER. I am so glad there is a Rack in the area. Great clothes, great prices but EVERYTIME I go the line is a mile long. I've been on weekends, weekdays, morning hours, after lunch, it's always stretched out to the back of the store. Go here when you have time to browse. Not when you're in a rush. read more

If you're dark skinned and have a white significant other don't come here they will give you dirty looks and follow you around the store from each rack you go to, to the fitting room and all the way till you go up to pay. I don't know if they thought I was stealing or if they were checking out my significant other but I felt so disrespected. That isn't how I like to feel when I'm going to your damn store to buy clothes or whatever I need even if I'm going just to browse. Nobody should have that many different associates talking on their head sets and staring at you. read more

Awlful customer service. Waited 30 minutes in line to return defective kid rainboots, just to be told if it is passed 90 days, cannot return, even if they are rainboots and only worn a couple of times. The entire seam unglued and fell apart. The manager Susan was completely rude, and didn't even care that there were 3 checkers and a line out to the back shoe department. I hope they understand that by not refunding $20, they loss a customer who always believed in paying more for nordstroms for their customer service. read more

Meh is right. Overpriced Nordstrom leftovers and lame associates. One associate rammed into me and said excuse me as though I should be thankful to have gotten an apology at all. Caca store. Never again! read more

This place is nice and big, but a bit messy. It sometimes feel like looking for a needle in a hay stack. If you like taking time to browse through clothes, then I think you'll like it! I always stop by when I'm in the area and have some time to kill. read more

I come here because it's close to where I live. Their selection is pretty good and the store is clean. It's not as nice as the one in South Coast Plaza, and the selection isn't as good, but it'll do. read more

Could they make exchanges/returns more inconvenient? They have one line for sales and returns which makes it super ridiculous if all your want to do is return. This store always has a really long line, too. Compared to other Nordstrom Racks, this location sometimes isn't worth the effort and patience it takes to get in the door and stand in line. read more

This is the best place to get shoes! Unlike discount stores like Ross and TJ Maxx, this place actually takes the time to organize their shoe racks. No big piles of shoes in the middle of th aisle! They have a good selection of men's and women's shoes. They have a variety of name brand shoes. I bought shoes for every occasion here: my wedding, running, work, and everyday. I'm so glad they got rid of their shoe pairing service. They use to only have 1/2 a pair on the shelf and you had to line up to get the other shoe to try on, which I hated because I had to wait in line every time I wanted to try on a pair of shoes. Now they display both shoes on the shelf so you can just try it on there. read more

this is the location you want to go to if you have a bit of money and want good clothing items! though they are cheaper than the actual Nordstroms as well as a number of other stores, it is still a bit of money. the store is great for if you were going to buy something from a pricey store anyway, and want an option that is quiet a bit cheaper. read more

My sister and I come to nordstrom rack a lot whenever we want to look for some shoes. They have great deals on everything and I always come out with a big loot of stuff. I love their selection and they have a range of different products to choose from. They have pretty good customer service, I mean there aren't going to be people walking around but usually if you go to the counters they will help you out. Most of the time, it is busy and I can see why because this place is wonderful ! I always find things that I am looking for here! read more

I went into this store hoping to find a good deal I really didn't see any good deals at all. I saw that they had alot of merchandise but everything was way over priced jeans were anywhere $60.00 to $80.00 but the original price was a couple hundred dollars come on that's just crazy go to Macy's, JC Penny's, Sears, or Kohl's. read more

This Nordstrom Rack is one of the best locations. Great brands. Organized. Clean. Customer service was awesome! I LL never forget the great service that Carlos gave. He was wonderful! I was buying a gift for a birthday and asked him about possible other stores around the area. Only because I didn't know this area very well. No question was bothersome for him. He pulled out his phone and helped me find other places I needed to get to. Because of this awesome customer experience. I LL always be coming back to this Nordstrom Rack. This is how customer service should be! Carlos! You set the bar high for other sales associates! Thank You so much! read more

I come here way too often then i would like to admit. I come here more often the the Costa Mesa store which i go to twice a month at least. How embarrassing. I only come here for the shoes. They usually have limited edition and hard to find nike's and vans here. And in the winter i come here for boots or whenever i have to go to a dressy formal affair, i come here for nice dress shoes. I would give it a full 5. but the lines are always super long. Try coming here just as they open to avoid the lines. read more

I went here today in search of some premium denim. This location did not let me down. Picked up a pair of True Religions for under $100 (Retail $194). Parking is nice and big and lots of other places to go nearby. Also not too far from Brea mall. read more

This Rack used to be my ultimate FAVORITE location for women shoes. Went there last week & they only had 1/2 a rack of woman size 4 shoes. In the past it was an ENTIRE rack of size 4 & part of 4 1/2 shoes. Now half a rack of BOTH 4 & 4 1/2 size shoes. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!! read more

Hi, I went to Nordstrom Rack today to have my new dress fixed. Miss Gloria Velazquez was very helpful and extremely patient with me. I have had work done with other tailors and none of them have done such a excellent job as Gloria did with my dress. I love shopping at Nordstrom because they have excellent customer service and all personal are very helpful. read more

Perhaps I have gone during an off week, when there was simply no decent inventory for the petite/S section. Everything I picked up that looked decent was L and up. The shoes were pretty tacky. I get more luck searching through the aisles at Ross for crying out loud. If you've got time to burn meandering aimlessly through heaps of crap, go here with a friend and pick up random items and laugh at how distastefully ostentatious or just downright bad they are. read more

This store is set up well and is kept organized. I am very happy with their new method of check out because you can ask any employee in the store to ring you up with their hand held device. No more waiting in line, makes shopping so efficient. read more

I LOVE this store! It is by far the best Nordstrom Rack around. It has the best selection compared to most. They have items that are still at the Nordstrom down the street. Lines are pretty long at all times though. read more

I typically love shopping here. I have been shopping this location for several years, but the customer service has gone downhill. There is rarely anyone available to help you and the last time I made a purchase I was dissatisfied with the merchandise. I would also advise customers to steer clear of beauty and fragrance purchases. There is a no return policy. Even if you have a reaction to the product, you can't return it, not for a refund or store credit. You're pretty much stuck with the product. The return policy differs greatly from the Nordstrom stores, so whenever you make a purchase be certain to ask what the policy is on returns. I don't plan to shop this location or purchase any beauty or fragrance products from them in the future. It sort of feels like you're shopping Forever 21 when it comes to policy and customer service. read more

Edie is stil the best, love that you can skip lines and find an employee on the floor to check you out if you are paying by card. I get all my jeans here. read more

This review is LONG overdue. Who doesn't love Nordstrom rack? I do! I got married last June and went super last minute suit shopping with my dad knowing that we would find something perfect. He is 6'4 and very slim, which made it more difficult that anticipated. Lisa Steck in the men's department and the alterations manager made our shopping trip a BREEZE and helped us for quite some time until we found the perfect suit. I can't rave enough about the excellent customer service we experienced in this store from these two individuals. As a former Nordstrom employee in the full line stores I was so pleased to experience the same great care at the rack as I do (and provided) at the full line stores. Thank you Lisa and alterations!!!! read more

I know the selection changes quickly in outlet stores. I was looking for a 6 year old boy and didn't seem to find a lot. Very limited selection...probably due to timing. I was there in January and felt like I was in the after Christmas leftover store. My suggestion is to go in before you need it. I plan to go back soon to see for a 3rd time. Looks like a nice store and I always love Nordstrom! read more
