She really listened, made me feel comfortable, and invited me to their Monday 6 PM runs and other events it felt very personal and genuine. They had some light signs of use from being tried on by others, so I asked if they could offer a small discount. The attendant's response was very dry and dismissive -- just asked if I wanted them or not, without any attempt at customer service. It left a bit of a sour note to an otherwise well-stocked store.

They had brought out a bunch of different styles in different sizes for me. Unfortunately, I would say everything was so comfortable that it didn't help narrow my decision down. They have a full sizes for most of their shoes, but for couple models they do have half sizes I think the ones are a little more sporty where they would have half sizes. I know there aren't too many days retail stores for Allbirds at all so it was a great treat to be able to try them on and not have to blindly guess a model and size that I'm staring at online.
