Go with someone else. They fired two people working on my roof and left me with no contact for over a month. Then they dragged their feet and I had to do all the work to get the adjuster from my insurance to my house. I got my money back and they still took 20% for their "Negotiation." Just awful people who were just sales men without a soul. read more

A salesman from this company, named Blake, knocked on my door and ignored 2 no soliciting signs. I answered the door, informed him of the signs and asked him to leave. He continued trying to give his sales pitch. When I interrupted him, told him we weren't interested in any solicitors, he again ignored me and began his pitch again. I then informed him that I wanted him to leave my property and they he was trespassing. He refused to leave the property and began arguing with me. I asked him 2 more times to leave my property which he also refused. I then walked outside, took a picture of his license plate and called the non emergency police line. I informed him that was what I was doing and he began cursing at me. He used multiple expletives and tried to block me from taking a picture of his company cars license plate. I've filed a police report against the company and I'd suggest not working with companies who's employees don't respect peoples privacy or requests to leave property when instructed to do so over and over again. read more

Chris and his team were incredible and we couldn't be happier with the work these guys did! We have a very small house, a little two bed one bath, in Tempe. We love our little place, but whenever anyone would come visit it got a little... cramped. We definitely didn't want to move, so we decided we would build an ADU/casita out back so when friends and family came to visit, they would have their own space. It also serves as my office when working from home. We could not have asked for a better experience. We are SO happy! I'm sure I was not the easiest customer to work with (I think I changed my mind on materials and design elements at leas a dozen times). But Chris and his crew were super helpful, making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Communication was always clear, they were there when they said they'd be, they stayed within our budget, and helped guide us throughout the whole process. They even helped put up a little temporary fence for our dog so he didn't get out of the gate while they were coming in and out! I'm sure our little casita was not a top priority project for them looking at some of the big jobs they do, but they treated us like it was! We are extremely grateful that we found National First Response and went with them. Whatever project you're looking to get done, make sure you at least give them a call. If you want to be treated like a number whose only purpose is to give them money then go ahead an move forward with NFR. You will walk away not knowing the work that was actually done, they will tack on costs, accuse you of using the insurance money and show up late. After that tornado/microburst in September of 2023, my roof sustained some major damage. Kyle Cordova did a free inspection and gave me a detailed report of the damage. He also called the insurance company with me and established NFR's involvement as my contractor. Kyle worked directly with the insurance company to get everything covered. I also door damage from th3 same storm so Kyle connected me with the right division within his company to get that fixed as well. At my house, we have quite a few animals and I explained to Kyle about the care that needed to be taken for their health and safety. This was relayed to Justin, who was the on-site project manager. There was a miscommunication with the crew on site that led to an issue. One call to Kyle and Justin took care of it, and there were no further issues. I am very happy with the end result and how my roof looks. There was a delay, on my insurance company's part, on getting my door done but that is now in the works as well. Nicole, in the office, has been fantastic to work with on the payments from the insurance company and my deductible. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this company. We recently had National First Response extend our garage, completely replace the driveway, replace the roof and paint the entire house exterior. Both the service and quality of work provided by NFR was outstanding from start to finish! Eric was our Project Manager for everything except the roof and Nicole in the Roofing Division managed that part of the project. Throughout the entire project, Eric gave us project updates and kept us informed about the scheduling of the many subcontractors and inspections involved. Additionally, all of the subcontractors he used did quality work and were very sincere in answering our questions. Nicole kept us informed and did a fine job in helping us get the exact shingle that we wanted; this turned out to be quite involved, but she managed to make it happen! Bottom line: NFR and their staff worked diligently and consistently to complete our construction project in the way we had envisioned it. We feel the project cost was appropriate and we HIGHLY recommend National First Response--especially Eric and Nicole! read more

I had scheduled an estimate for a full roof replacement and 15 minutes before my apt they indicated they would not show because i stated i would not be signing any contract(s) same day. This goes to show they wanted guaranteed (insurance) money. Not how anyone should run a business. Its so hard now to find honest contractors. read more

In June we discovered a leak in the wall between our master bath and laundry room. The whole shower had to be taken out as well as the wall in between the laundry and shower. Not the worst I've ever seen or even experienced but it is now the end of September and National First Response still has not completed the work they were hired to do. Three months we have been inconvenienced by having one bathroom available to us and we just keep getting excuses why it is taking so long. Obviously NFR has bigger fish to fry and we have been put at the bottom of the totem pole. I would NEVER hire this company again. I had a full house flood in the early 2000's and all of my carpeting had to be replaced as well has damage to my master bath and the company I used had every bit of the damage repaired in two weeks time. There is no excuse for the way NFR has handled this minor damage and what's worse is they don't even clean up the mess they make. Do yourself a favor and find a company who's reviews aren't written by employees and are full of BS. read more

After having my a/c replaced by Precision Air, National First Response was the recommend company to re install my attic ladder. Phone calls were friendly and informative (Brandy and Christina) time slots were reasonable and when the day came they were on time! Josh and Steve arrived and explained the process and time frame. These two men were friendly, confident and took pride in their work. Took about 30 min longer only because they wanted the job done right ... in the end it looks like a brand new ladder was installed fit and painted to perfection! These guys are as good as it gets when it comes to providing full service one stop shopping for all your damage mitigation and restoration needs. I would like to give a shout out to all Who were involved in the restoration of my bathroom due to a plumbing leak. My restoration required mitigation for water damage under bathroom vanity and flooring. Vinnie was awesome in getting things started and insuring that all necessary precautions were taken to preventing any mold , Vinnie also was very helpful with expediting the seal up of my bathroom walls in order to keep the outside elements outside. Ahmad and Alan were also outstanding in the demo work they performed. These guys really brought awesome customer service and attitude to the job which was very reassuring to me the customer. They were clean and thorough in their process of removing damaged sheet rock and insulation. The gentlemen responsible for sealing up my , who's names I forgot, were also outstanding and very empathetic to my concerns with getting my bathroom wall sealed so as to keep all the elements outside during peak heat of the summer. They too were very thourouh in the the sheet rock restoration work they performed. All in all I highly recommend these guys because they also do a great job dealing directly with my insurance (State Farm) as well. After a mishap in the attic, we had a big hole in our ceiling. We called National First Response and they were out within a day to fix it. Would like to commend the work of Joey. He did a great job and was very professional. The damaged area was replaced with new drywall and he texturized and painted; looks like nothing ever happened. The best!!! My relationship with company began a few weeks ago when my plumber (Robins Plumbing excellent) identified that our dishwasher was leaking into our kitchen island. I am a PA and am acutely aware of the dangers of mold. I was instantly terrified. Robins recommended National First Response because of the care they give their customers, and I couldn't agree more. I called NFR immediately and spoke with Christina. She is a new team member, but you would never know it. Knowledgeable, accommodating, kind. The company was slammed due to recent heavy rains. Initially, she told me they were booked out a few days. I was very distraught about my family's safety. She reached out to Vinnie, and I had someone from mitigation at my house in hours. Demo started the next day. As you may know, working with home owner's insurance can be a long road. I have called the main office and spoken directly to Christina and Brandi and managers like Vinnie and Eric on MANY occasions. They are beyond friendly and always willing to answer my many questions. We have used this company three separate occasions and all three experiences were very above and beyond our expectations. Steve who has done drywall repair in our house twice now is by far the best drywaller I have ever seen. It is really hard to find quality craftsmanship but Steve really pays attention to close detail and can match any texture, he is a true drywall artist. Chris is always on point, ensuring we have the right equipment and the right guy on the job. He has made every transaction we've had run smooth. So lets preface this review by the fact that Insurance is the biggest hurdle and annoyance in this process. NFR (Eric) stood by us every day as we waited to see what insurance was going to cover. He contacted the adjuster and worked to get items missed in the original adjustment covered. Unfortunately insurance slowed the process down and what should have been a demo and repair in a week took almost 2 months, uggghhhh. After an AC unit replacement, the trim on the attic needed to be replaced. Precision Air and Heating uses National First Response to complete the finishing work. These guys are so awesome! Friendly, to the point, straightforward, straight shooters, won't screw you around, do what they say they do and do it well. They're currently fixing a flood for me due to a plumbing company's incompetent/lazy workers not being able to correctly diagnose a simple leak. My drywall, floor and carpet was sitting in water for 7 days and they came in with their mold guns and are now vibrating the water molecules out of my walls with huge fans and retesting with their mold guns. Apparently it's possible to dry your walls quickly with all this equipment without going through a severe mold issue! Saved me ALOT of headache! THANK YOU GUYS!!! GREAT JOB!!! DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOUSE! We called roto rooter and they couldn't find what the problem was with our leak and told us that we had to tear the roof down so that they could get a look. Next thing I know, national first response is at our door telling our babysitter that they have to come in and look at the damage. Josh was very unprofessional. They came in and tore out the bathroom door, our wood flooring in 3 bedrooms, and wall casings. They wrecked our home and told us that insurance would most likely pay for everything. They left our home like that for a few weeks. We called somebody else to fix our house. read more

My opinion is the company GC is not honest. I had some kitchen island damage that resulted in a kitchen remodel. When I told them we can't pay more than our deductible for the job they proceeded to lie about the insurance payoff for the job. It wasn't until the job was complete that I found out they were getting $4500 more and I should have been able to pick out nicer materials. They even tried to back out of them doing the kitchen backsplash at the end saying they were out of money, so my wife had to settle for material she doesn't like instead of the glass backsplash she wanted. When I complained to the GC he said "I got you a nice kitchen remodel and all it cost you was $1000". Well after paying over 20 years of insurance premiums I paid way more than that, plus I only received what I was entitled to receive. I should say there sub-contractors were very professional and did good work. read more

I called National First Response when I had a water leak in my home. They came out within an hour and started drying out my walls. They ended up replacing my kitchen cabinets and flooring on the lower level as well as repairing my walls in my bathroom upstairs. There was a bit of a delay in getting the work completed, but most of that was due to my own insurance company.
