This is our second time using First Response Roofing. Found a roofing piece in our yard after the latest storm and wasn't sure if it was from our house or not. I also thought I saw a cracked tile, but it was hard to tell from ground level. Evelyn promptly answered my call and set up an appointment to have Geoff come take a look. He texted about 15 minutes before his arrival and included his picture so I knew who to expect. He was exceptional! Told him the concerns about the roof plus a gutter area where water was overflowing during downpours. He walked and inspected the entire roof, found where the piece we had found belonged and put it back in place. He checked the gutters, making sure they were level and free of debris and made sure the area of concern looked like it was functioning correctly. Explained why the the spot was likely just getting overwhelmed during our downpours. He patiently answered all my questions and concerns and provided very helpful info. Hopefully we won't need a roofer again until our underlayment needs to be replaced - but if and when we do, this will be the company we go to. From the initial call where someone answered and was very helpful with questions and scheduling, to the roof tech that first txtd that he was in route and his approx arrival time and a pic of himself so we knew who to look for. All were helpful, courteous, and professional! Cameron showed up as scheduled and explained the process, what he would be doing, etc. We had to be inside so he told us no problem, and txtd when he was finished and discussed his findings when done. We just had First Response out for our tile roof that was hit with a microburst recently. Kaiden arrived right on time and got busy accessing the damage. We were fortunate that only 5 tiles were broken, but many many more were displaced, including one of the roof vents. In a little more than a couple hours he had everything back in place including replacing the broken tiles with spares that we had. Upon completion he the informed me that there would be no charge! Not sure that would happen for free for everyone else with a job like this but he did it for us on this one. I contacted First Response because a tenant advised that there was a leak in theur roof. Out of the 3 companies I called First Response was the only to answer as well as follow up with me. From the customer service from the office staff to the service and knowledge of the crew that fixed the roof were amazing! They explained everything in great detail as well as sent me a full report of everything written down and broken down by cost of each item used to fix the repair. First Response was one of our bidders for a job to reconnect our dryer vent in the attic. While that sounds like a simple task, it truly was not. It involved removing a section of the roofing and plywood sheets to pinpoint a complex roof/attic area that was inaccessible from the interior attic. From the initial visit right through the last moment on site for completion of the work, this job went so smoothly. Geoff was very knowledgeable about the situation. He accurately pinpointed the area to be removed without causing any waste in effort or materials. He coordinated the HVAC contractor who needed to arrive same day to make the reconnection before they could close up the roof. The job went so well and we are back in business and to code! They were the only bidder on this job who offered to coordinate the HVAC portion of the work so it could all be done same day without leaving a gaping penetration into the home. First Response has completed several repairs for me in the past with great results. This time they did about a quarter of my whole roof. The work was completed on time and as expected. Where First Response excels is in their communication and timeliness. The Foreman, Garrett, was outstanding and their office personnel were magnificent. The Cleanup was fine as well. After meeting with the Sales Technician,I was very confident that he figured out where the leak was coming from and even pointed out mistakes that the previous company did. The cost was double the price from the last guy but that was expected. The office staff was very responsive and answered all my questions. The workers sent me pictures after the work was complete.
