I cannot express our appreciation enough for State 48 Roofing! This company is responsive, acted fast, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Dustin Hines is incredible! He was so friendly and really helped us out when we needed it. We called roofing company after roofing company. Probably 15 or more companies. State 48 roofing was beyond the best service we have received. Not only did Andrea respond to us immediately, Dustin came out to us 2 hours after we called. I am so grateful to live in a community that has this company! We will be using them again and again! Call them for your next roofing needs! read more

Everything started out great until the repairs were done. Got a quote for almost $700.00 to make some repairs from a wind storm. Took a while for TJ to get back with me to schedule. Got scheduled a week out and within minutes of being scheduled I received and email for half down. I don't have a problem with that but it took a week to get a call back to schedule and schedule was a week out but within minutes it was like send us money. The money side of this business is obviously on top of things compared to the field. Window for crew to show up was 6:00am-12:00, at 11:50 the crew showed up and in less than an hour they were done and out of here. That's a crazy hourly rate. When I arrived home that afternoon I found broken roof tiles in my front yard along with a dead bird or at least what was left of it and the entry to my home had globs of mortar all over it. It was almost like the crew did not care about cleaning up just cared about getting to the next $700.00/hr job. I would not use this company again, I realize to some this made seem like a stretch but the focus here to me is not on quality and customer but more on $$$/hr made. read more

This contractor came out when they said they would, performed the service that we contracted them to perform in a timely manner with quality workmanship, and the price paid was what they quoted to me. I'm very happy with this contractor. read more

Just had new underlayment on single story concrete tile roof with State 48 Roofing and what a great experience. I received 5 estimates and in the end went with State 48 Roofing and so happy I did. Great team to work with from TJ providing the estimate to Luis overseeing the job. Really hard working roofers. Job completed on time and now have piece of mind with one of the most important part of my house. Thanks State 48! Your work was exceptional! read more

Juan came out to inspect our roof, went over a variety of options and put us on the schedule for a full roof replacement. He was super friendly, very knowledgeable, not pushy and is very passionate about his job. We got other quotes but one of the reasons why we chose them is because their customer service is so good. We even had a chance to meet Jason the owner. I also appreciate the fact that they are very involved with the community and do a lot of charitable work as a local business. They believe in their product, they stand by their workmanship and from start to finish it was all aces . The crew got to work. They were very efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and the roof itself was done within two days. I would definitely recommend them. read more

I am having problems with a roofing company installing a roof on my house. From a referral, I called State 48 Roofing in hopes to have a third-party look at the work that has been done. I talked to James who told me they could come out, but it really wouldn't help. James did answer my questions about concerns I have, which gave me more insight into the roofing world. He also gave me a few different avenues I could take to air my grievances with the company in question. Thank you, James, and State 48 for giving your time and helping me! read more

I just had 48 State repair a roof that was damaged recently by the storm activity. They were extremely responsive and rectified the damage quickly. I highly recommend them; I had engaged them for a re-roofing on this home in Mesa in late 2024. They did a fantastic job on this major project. Quality workmanship by a talented and thorough team. read more

We called State 48 Roofing based on the very strong rating and Juan (JLO) Lopez came out this afternoon for a scheduled appointment. First off he was very pleasant and through as he looked at where the leak in our dining room might be coming from. Mind you its well over 100 degrees but went into the attic to check as well as starting on top of our peak roof. The leak (pinpointed the area) looks to be plumbing or AC after his through check of all possible areas. We would like to say a huge "Thank You" as he went above and beyond and will be our only company for any additional rooking issues that might arise. A++++ Service was tops and no charge to assist. read more

State 48 came to my house and ensured that I was ready for monsoon season. Can't recommend them enough!

State 48 Roofing delivered exactly what they promised. Despite my concerns about protecting my newer gutters, they completed the roof work without causing a single scratch. When stucco damage appeared, they sent Brent, who repaired, painted, and even addressed additional areas I hadn't noticed. He also completed a full roof inspection and tightened up anything that needed attention. I absolutely recommend State 48 Roofing for their quality, honesty, and follow‑through. read more

This is an honest company and James is awesome! I called about leaks in my roof. James was very helpful in inspecting it and determined the source of the leaks. I have solar which made it more complex and he still figured it out. He asked about the prior roofing company and asked if I had paperwork for it. Upon looking at the paperwork, we noticed there was a 15 year warranty and he instructed me to call that company to use their warranty for the repairs. read more

Great experience with Vinny and the State 48 team. They were thorough and completed the job timely. Thank you!

Great service and work was completed quickly and on-budget. Appreciate the frequent updates as the job was being completed.

I can't stress enough how grateful I am to each of you at State 48 and the service and communication you provided. There was never a moment when I didn't know what and when each step in the process was about to happen. Everything from first phone call to job completion was incredible. You all create an amazing company. Thanks Again for everything. I wish more businesses were the class act that you are. read more

5-Star! Can't say enough good words about State 48. Professional, friendly, great workmanship, onetime and most importantly honest! I Called them because of loose tiles due to a recent storm and they were out the same day. Needed a fast response and Amanda in the office called me back within a few minutes stating that the owner Jason will be by later to take care of the issue. They are a highly recommended company here in the valley and I wouldn't recommend anyone else for your roofing needs. If I have future roofing problems I know exactly who I will be calling . Thank you owner Jason and State 48!! read more

TJ was fabulous at explaining the work needed and giving us options. They were not the highest or the lowest quote but the workmanship explained and confidence he created in me led me to choose them. They did not disappoint. The crew was on time, the office folks were responsive and the crew worked efficiently. They also cleaned up perfectly. Their documentation with the quote and final warranty and bill was professional, explanatory and full of pictures. Five star all the way. Thank you. read more

State 48 did an outstanding job on my roof repair and replacement. James Tweed and the team were incredibly responsive. I got multiple opinions on the roof after a leak was identified. James was generous with his time in investigating the problem, explaining things to me on the roof, and answering all my questions. He was quick to respond to any follow up calls or texts. I got multiple opinions, and State 48 did not try to oversell me. I had a great experience with them. read more

Great company, good service, reliable and they do an excellent job! I would recommend them to anyone.

State 48 Roofing did an excellent job for my home. Their quote was solidly in-line with competitors, their scheduling was easy to work with, and everything happened on the timeline they quoted. I had a complex operation happening, with solar panels coming off and going back, siding work, painters -- they slotted in exactly where the schedule called for them, and finished early. The resulting work is immaculate. Even my solar contractors complimented the roof job when they reinstalled the panels. read more

We got our entire roof underlayment replaced right before it started raining in July. Our house was approaching the 30yr mark so I knew it needed work. State 48 Roofing did a great job. Dustin came over and gave us a series of options and showed me pictures of his findings during his inspection. His professionalism was a direct reflection on how the whole company operates. The crew did a great job including their clean up after they were done. I highly recommend State 48 Roofing. Fair pricing and outstanding customer service. read more

During our renovation, we had to throw in a new roof. As this wasn't part of our renovation budget and due to flooding, we needed near immediate help, the company came through for us. I meant to write this much earlier than I am currently doing. If I could give more than a 5 star, I would. When I first started getting roofing bids to replace my back porch patio, I ended up getting bids for my house and the patio, as in the long run, this would be less expensive than doing them separately. Got a bunch of bids and learned a great deal in the process about roofing, enough to be dangerous. State 48 came as a recommendation from a long time friend of mine who used to work for one of their competitors. I really loved David coming out to give the quote. He was very informative, giving me choices that I liked. Due to pricing, which was quite a spread, my choice was State 48 if cost was not as issue. But to my husband, they were too expensive. All the bids I got were recommendations with companies family & friends had used that liked, so all the companies were great. State 48 had TONS of great reviews on top of that. I did tell David that my husband is wanting another company because of pricing because all the companies we got bids from we were confident that would do a good job. I told David if he could bridge that gap maybe not 100% but much closer, my husband might consider. David talked with the owner and they lowered their price but still keeping everything the same, so we agreed and a few days later, they were able to redo our roof. It was scheduled for 3 days, but they put their best crew on the job and got it done in 1.5 days. Every person that worked on our roof was very professional and awesome. My husband and I were very impressed. I've probably forgotten some stuff, but Brent was here those days before, during and after to make sure everything was done well. I wanted to wait to write the review after rain, but no rain came until the past couple weeks. No leaks whatsoever. Of course. We're so thankful they were willing to work with us. Would use again, but we got underlayment that was better than what we had, so our roof should be good for at least 2 decades. We'll be scheduling with State 48 to come out annually just to check everything continues to be good, so we can address anything quickly and make the roof last even longer. You guys are awesome!!! Great price, quality work, professionalism, personable, patriotic. Hard workers. Oh, they also picked up all the nails that fell onto the property. Great! The only ones they didn't get were the ones that fell into our A/C unit, so probably if the A/C unit isn't being used, probably putting something over the A/C so the nails and debris doesn't get into the unit. Grateful that we hadn't used the A/C between November and March, and we had our A/C semi-annual maintenance done, and they saw this. read more

During the purchasing process of our new home in Mesa, the basic property inspection revealed the tile underlayment was original to the house and probably in need of replacement. It was recommended by our realtor to have a complete roof inspection, and he recommended State 48 roofing. Specifically our realtor has worked with Juan and promised we would be pleased with their work and service. Juan arrived at the agreed upon time and did a thorough inspection. He removed tiles in several suspect areas and took videos showing the weathered underlayment, decaying battens, and actual current and potential leak areas. He then provided a quote to repair the damage and/ or in our case, replace the entire underlayment and re-lay the existing tiles. We were presented 3 choices of underlayment quality with varying warranty periods. We were able to agree on a competitive price for the top quality 30 year underlayment and they were able to schedule the work in a timeframe that worked for our schedule. They arrived on the scheduled day, and completed the job in 3 days as promised. The roofing replacement job is huge amount of work. It is very noisy and very messy. Each of the 3 days the crew cleaned up the site completely at days end. When the job was completed, the final cleanup was better than I expected. We are extremely pleased with the new roof. It looks great, was completed on time and at the agreed price. Only time will determine if it is indeed leak free, but having watched the job progress, I am confident it was done properly and will provide many years of service. I can highly recommend Juan and the entire State 48 crew. I trust you will have a similar experience. read more

Very impressed with this company. Every step of the way from initial evaluation to final roof replacement was handled professionally.

I can't say enough good things about State 48 Roofing. Jason and his crew came out to assess a leak at my home and provided a clear, fair quote for additional roof repairs. What really stood out was Jason's honesty and willingness to offer advice--even on things that didn't put money in his pocket. It's rare to find someone who truly puts customers first, but Jason does just that. If you need roof repairs, I wholeheartedly recommend State 48. read more

We recently worked with State 48 to replace my MIL's roof. Our experience was both good and bad, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this company. From the beginning we had a lot of communication issues with this company. There seems to be a lot of confusion between the front desk, contractors and managers. There was definitely some issues with honesty. Stories were often changed and timelines changed. It was frustrating. We did not have a fluid experience with scheduling and work performed. We did however have an excellent experience with Brent. He came out multiple times and was very helpful, unfortunately that wasn't the case with everyone else we spoke to or saw. When the newly replaced roof was still leaking we were very concerned. Our concerns went unheard until the issue was escalated with a private inspector. Fortunately the issues were addressed and resolved. However the initial poor experience for months before the issues were resolved were extremely frustrating and unprofessional. For those reasons, we cannot recommend State 48. read more

State 48 Roofing is gaslighting his response to my review the first time over poor workmanship. Jason's secretary called and left a message. I tried calling her back as well as Jason per her message that they were interested in addressing my concerns. They never answered though I left messages for them both. Even while working on my roof one of their leads told me they were having problems with another customers complaints. They're not interested in customer satisfaction. For that I'm certain. read more

Beware of this business! Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. I paid for an event that turned out not to exist, (which they gave us in detail the process and we even got a welcoming video) and when I requested a refund, BECAUSE IT WASN'T REAL... they refused. Instead, they offered alternative options that I didn't want or ask for. To make matters worse, their partner convinced us to spend even more money before the truth came out. Now, they've stopped responding entirely. This is no way to run a business--lots of promises, but no follow-through. I'm shocked that someone who claims to have a reputable company would operate in such a dishonest way. I strongly advise against working with them. read more

Well I can't give 5 stars yet because we haven't chosen their services, HOWEVER: CJ came out yesterday and for an estimate and we were very impressed. All was very detailed and we are in a holding pattern with insurance for now. I'll still have a comparison, but so far, so good. read more

Prompt, courteous, a job well done! Awesome communication. Thank you Mike Smyth for coming out to give me a fair and reasonable quote. My roof repair turned out so well. Had a roof replaced. It's not cheap, but I feel like the work was solid and the crew and team were professional and worked quickly.

Excellent company with exceptional customer service. Owner Jason Payne sets the tone at the top with great communication and service. I started with him many years ago and watched him build his reputation, offering excellent products and customer service. I am one of many Realtors in the Valley who depend on State 48 Roofing to take care of our client's and provide a solid roof with care and client satisfaction. The feedback I receive from my clients after using State 48 Roofing is all positive from excellent front office staff for scheduling (like Shannon M., Dory, or Jessie) to the estimators (like Carlos or Chandler) to the installation crew who are always professional and leave the job site clean without debris. Out of the many referrals I have given this company I have never had a complaint or negative response. I referred them even to my neighbor when they had severe roof leaks and they too came over after their job was completed and thanked me... And that neighbor referred them to another neighbor which made me smile again when I saw them starting another roof in my neighborhood. ......If you need a good roofing company that you can trust, call State 48 Roofing. You'll be glad you did! read more
