Downgrading to 2 star - the "fix" last year is leaking again and can't get ahold of anyone to address it. Moving on to different company. Update 9/30: Charlie the owner reached out and went above and beyond to make things right. Just had some bad communication with warranty dept which is now resolved. Back to 5 star! read more

They did a great job for me and five of my neighbors in Anthem also my sons and friend btw who is a general contractor very nice

If you need anything done to your roof, I could not recommend Charlie enough. He did a great job on my roof and has done great work for all the friends and family members I've referred. He's honest, reasonably priced, and is a man of his word. Thanks for everything you've done at my house. I couldn't be happier! read more

Charlie and his whole team were great! We have a pretty steep room and the AC maintenence guys kept slipping on the roof and couldn't service the AC. I called and talked to Charlie he was out the next day and inspected the roof with a drone to play it safe. He also checked things out from the ground. He found some areas of concern in addition. He got me a quote within a day which included a complete roof including back porch. The quote was so good we said yez the same day. Besides the entire remove and replacing all the shingles they also replaced some wood on the back porch that was rotted including one post and some of the eaves. They less than a week later and ended up coming a day early and finished the day before a monsoon. I have gotten several positive comments from neighbors. The AC guys were able to come out and not slip! One great part was that even though some of the workers didnt speak great English, there we'd always a lead that was bilingual. Very nice to work with. Highly recommend. read more

They did a. Good job and cleaned up well. The price was reasonable and the owners are easy to work with.

Charlie & his crew are fantastic! I had solar placed on my home & needed the underlayment replaced on my roof prior to the solar install. Charlie came out & then sent me a very fair quote. 3 years later I'm selling my home & needed Charlie to come out to check a few of the roof tiles, that was mentioned on the inspection report. Charlie had one of his team reach out the same day & with in 2 days of my request the tiles were addressed. I would defiantly recommend S & R Roofing, in fact at my new home I'm going to have them come & give me estimates on a new roof. read more

The crew did a great job in short order. They even replaced some bad wood and painted the drip edge to match.

They did a professional job with our roof, exceeding our expectations. We were happy with their methods and abilities

They were very professional. Everything thing was done to our satisfaction. Definitely would use and recommend them and already have.

These guys were extremely efficient and did quality work! The price was extremely reasonable compared to the other quotes and the work was done with great attention to detail! read more

Great company! Responsive and professional. Excellent price and, best of all, the crew worked fast, hard and efficiently. Highly recommend S & R! read more

Charlie & his employees are awesome! We had a tile that fell from the front part of our RV garage and contacted several contractors and S & R Roofing came to the rescue. The manager, Brian, came out to repair/replace the tiles that needed attention and noticed that when our solar panels were installed via Sun Run, the contractors did not properly place the tiles. Brian indicated within 5 years we likely would have leakage. They did not charge an excessive fee for the services, and they were very reliable. read more

S & R Roofing did an excellent job in meeting our needs and for a fair price. They got the job done before the expected date. We recommend them and our neighbor used them as well. He was happy with the job they did too. read more

They painted my house last spring after a leak. Did a great job. No more issues. Very efficient process and hard workers. Onlya few days. Everything was done really well and still looks great. I'd highly recommend. Had a fallping vent on roof after a storm and they came back out and fixed (even though not their fault). A+ job. Great peace of mind. read more

We were torn between replacing our roof or fixing certain areas, since we just signed a contract to remodel our kitchen and wanted to wait for another expense. Charlie came by inspected, showed us pictures of the inspection, and gave us a quote for both options. He was honest and told us that we could get away with fixing areas first and replacing the roof at a later date. Also, His prices were much more reasonable than other roofing companies we met with! We would recommend Charlie and his team to do any roofing project. read more

roof looks great, team was responsive. I will use them again, and have recommended them to others

These Guy's were great! Charlie and Tony were nice, professional and very easy going but respectful and work d quickly and did an excellent job. They did two roofs for me in two upscale homes and they were amazing. I recommend them and would definitely use them again. Thank you. read more

We needed a last minute roof leak repair and gutters added and they delivered at short notice to complete the repairs. They were very communicative, professional, friendly, and are the best at what they do. We highly recommend and would certainly hire S & R Roofing again. Thank you S & R Roofing! read more

These guys were so pleasant to work with. The price was fair and reasonable. I think I saved a little $$$ by doing my roof in the winter rather than waiting for our summer monsoons. They were there when the said they would be. The team cleaned up every day! This was an unexpected surprise. I didn't walk outside to a mess every day. They did professional work. Touched up a few areas where the paint was exposed, moved a vent, showed me areas of concern where I needed new underlayment, and installed gutters over my front door. (that made a huge difference) I highly recommend SRS to others. These guys will not disappoint. read more

Very competetive pricing, work accomplished on time/budget. All follow up warranty work accomplished. Highly recommend. read more

We have used S&R roofing twice now for separate issues. Both experiences have been amazing! We have gotten fast responses, quick evaluation of our leaks, and then quick repairs. S&R Roofing not only put a beautiful new roof on my home, they also removed all of my old insulation and put new spray in insulation. What a difference the new insulation has made in how cool my house is and stays. I haven't got a new electric bill but I'm banking on it will be quite a bit less. Thank you Charlie! My roof is beautiful and the gutters match perfectly. S&R Roofing is a class act company. They met all time lines and kept me informed throughout the process. I don't have to worry any longer about leaks in my roof. Thank again Charlie, I will recommend your company to all my friends. read more

Charlie and his Team did a terrific job on our roof job. Our roof was leaking in several spots and the underlayment was rotted in numerous spots. We need a total replacement. It was brutally hot and his team safely accomplished my roof job under the hardest of conditions. Within weeks of getting our new roof, we had a monsoon storm and we had a small leak. I called Charlie, and he had his folks out to find and fix the problem the very same day. The problem was found and fixed! I am very pleased that we selected S&R. Charlie stood by us showing he is for real on backing up all of their work. I know Charlie would continue this level of service in the years to come. read more

Service long after the sale. They stand behind their work. I bought a house that had just had the roof replaced by S& R Roofing and they came out to make some modifications the inspector suggested at no charge, under warranty. Good people. read more

S & R Roofing had fixed a skylight leak about 6 years ago. I called them to re-roof and they did a GREAT job! They cleaned up the site every day and the new roof looks better than before. It took exactly how long they quoted with the price quoted. I will definitely recommend them to anyone needing to re-roof. read more

We were pleased with S&R Roofing. They were working on the house next door. We had a leak in our roof. Asked Charlie St. Claire if he could come over and take look. He launched a drone, showed us video of our roof and where the problem was. Gave us a reasonable estimate. Since we are working next door, he said we can fix it today. A few hours later, it was done. read more

This is a 5+ Star review! To start with, Charlie is a great guy to work with and has outstanding customer orientation traits. When my roof was damaged due to recent monsoon storms, I started calling around looking for estimates and since I had some water leaking into my garage I had a sense of urgency. I called several highly rated local roofers plus some guys that had been referred to me locally, but I S&R roofing (and Charlie specifically) had some great reviews on NextDoor. I called Charlie for an estimate and he answered his phone - even on vacation out of town. He said he'd have someone drop by the next day. Leo came out and estimated a repair fix and a new roof (other than new tiles). Once he completed his measurements and a walk of the roof, Leo, very thoroughly, explained what he would do to fix my roof but recommended I replace the underlayment since the felt I had was original and 20 years old. Leo pulled up random tiles and took pictures so I could see how bad a shape my roof was in. He then gave me the estimate on the spot. I did end up calling half a dozen other "Highly Rated" roofing companies and had several estimates at roughly the same $$$ value as S&R and most of them were several thousand dollars higher, but S&R differentiated themselves by the following: - Charlie and Leo were both very customer centric. - S&R proposal didn't ask for anything up front but only pay them the full amount AFTER the roof was completed and I was fully satisfied - S&R was the only proposal that pitched synthetic underlayment vs felt. FYI, Synthetic is BETTER than Felt UDL - Google it! - S&R proposal was all inclusive - including if I needed to replace any deckboards; replace my 8 outdated Dormier vents with 12 O'Hagen Low Profile vents (no extra costs); replace any and all cracked or damaged tile with no limit. - All the roof jacks and metal ribbing they replace was painted to match my house. - I had a patio section that had a flat roof that was also included. - They addressed my dead valley area with an improved solution to prevent future leaks into my garage. -15 year NO LEAK guarantee. Needless to say, I selected these guys, they had a crew ready to start work 2 days later, They started around 5:30 each morning and went until 3 and then cleaned up any mess at the end of every day. 4 days later, I have a new roof (that Charlie personally walked and pointed out anything that need to be improved). I can't say enough how pleased I am with Charlie, Leo, Victor and his crew. They are thorough, quality conscious, and very customer oriented all while being very competitive in their pricing. Don't buy into the sales pitch that the "Big Name Roofers" are selling. Let results and testimonials speak for themselves. Oh yea, my final invoice was $500 less than the original estimate - Charlie gave me a military discount since I was a veteran. :-) read more

We were very pleased with this company. Charlie came out as scheduled and flew his drone over the house. He very quickly sent us a quote which was exactly what we had expected and we contracted with the company and arranged scheduling. Having a reroofing is never fun - it's a week of constant noise - but these people know what they're doing and the crew was extremely cooperative and friendly. They cleaned up the site before they went home every day and I never had a problem being able to let my dogs out. I just said the word and they gave us all the time we needed. We recommend them. read more

Charlie, I am emailed multiple times a day with notifications of your edits to your reply to my review. This behavior is exactly what we asked to stop in our settlement with Tony. Everything I wrote is true. Maybe the work you did for us was a 1 off. But our review is accurate of our experience and we hope other consumers will get their work inspected and learn to ask the right questions and get everything in writing. Your personal behavior, emails, lies, unlicensed/ unpermitted work, and damages to our home are all facts. I can happily share all the documentation here if necessary. When the ROC receives a "review of work" and a formal complaint about the same job, the complaint trumps the review of work. That is the ROC's policy, not our policy. You finished the he job we contracted you for the first week of May, we gave you until August to fix the items in a roof inspection report and repair damages. You were unable to do those things. In fact we had agreed to everything and you missed the start date. We can share that email too. The one about why you forget things. I have attached pictures of the ROC's citations against your company. There are two reasons they were dropped. 1. We do not want your company working on our home ever again 2. Tony, the owner who holds the license for S&R, asked to met with us privately. In that meeting he agreed to cover the cost to fix all damages (totaled estimates from quotes he asked for 10,000+) and paid an additional $8000 to cover the unpermitted work you did that we now have to fix with the City of Phoenix. That's all true. Maybe to you it was a "payoff" to get rid of us. Fine, call it what you like. To us it was a settlement because Tony is honorable and agreed to pay for the repairs and he did not want to have a hearing with the ROC. If you continue to reply and update your replies we will see this as another form of harassment, like the private messages/emails and our next step with be to contact the local news and share our experience with them. read more

My experience with S&R Roofing was excellent, from the initial contact to schedule an inspection to the completion of the work. Leo Saenz performed the inspection and headed the project. He and his team did an excellent job of installing a new underlayment, updating all sheet metal and replacing any broken roof tiles. They even installed a cricket around my chimney, which was not in the estimate, and did all the work on a timely basis during extremely hot weather. I cannot say enough about their work ethic. Dealing with Leo and Charlie St. Clair, the proprietor, was a professional pleasure. I found them both having high integrity and knowledge of their craft and I highly recommend them for any roofing requirements. read more

I am a very happy owner of a brand-new roof and I could not be happier with my roofer. A couple of months ago I talked with Charlie about coming to my home to check my roof which I felt I would need to replace sooner than later. He looked it over and recommended that I replace my 20+-year-old roof. The crew was wonderful, professional, efficient, and clean. Another important factor in recommending this company is, when they tell you they will be there, they are, on time and ready to do the job. Every day they cleaned the grounds around my home and the yard. This roofing company is the best in so many ways. Now I am settled with an outstanding new roof and ready for the 2023 monsoon season in Phoenix. Very Highly Recommend S&R Roofing and Charlie, the boss. read more

I contacted S & R Roofing in hopes of obtaining a fix to my roof leak. I sent S & R Roofing a video, to be used as a reference point in my opinion where the leak may have stemmed from. These are the email correspondence between myself and S & R Roofing. It looks like you have a leak at the undershot where the barge rafter and the ridge come together probably looking about 650 pull it apart new paper at some lead let me know I sent that video as a reference. Is worth your time to do an estimate for me? Let me know. I'm going to pass Is this S & R Roofing? Yes. I was unable to paste the video that was sent to S & R Roofing. I will fix the issue and repost soon. This company came through HomeAdvisors. I can delete two contacts now, S & R Roofing along with HomeAdvisors. read more
