This review is an extension of my T&K Roofing review. While T&K was here, I asked for a review of my electrical system. I was surprised T&K did not find more. Very up front and honest. When they bid the work, I found the price reasonable and inline with market expectations. When Shadrach arrived, he immediately went to work. While here, he highlighted an additional piece. I completely agreed with the additional piece and asked for the work to be done. When I received the invoice, I worked with Steven, the field supervisor, in a very amicable manner. Simply put, they know what they are doing and they are very fair and honest. If I ever need electrical work again, I will certainly call T&K Electric. I must also point out I had to ask T&K to return. After the roofing and the electrical work, summer arrived. My air conditioning did not function. T&K returned as if it was simply expected. Steven conducted the inspection. He reported his findings and said he went as far as an electrician could go. When the HVAC company arrived, the HVAC technician showed me the defective part and stated clearly why the part failed. Meaning the issue was solely a result of HVAC normal wear and tear. I found working with T&K Electrical very comforting. Even when the issue didn't involve them, they were very willing to investigate. Clearly, T&K takes pride in their work and craft and confirms the work is done right. Highly recommend. read more

I have had my faith restored in T&K Electric. The company has been placed back in Tommy's capable hands which is the reason I used them in the first place for my solar install. After a few conversations with Tommy, we spoke of my issues concerning my solar install that were done under previous management while Tommy was out of country. When T & K contractors arrived on 8/15/2024 to install my Solar Panels on my roof, Javi,Tieo,Pedro & Ramon were sensational!!!. WOW!!!!! I would give T&K 10 stars if I could. Obviously contractors are super busy right now, but I could barely get anyone to return my calls, or when they did they were booking like 4 months out or no longer serviced my area. I finally did a random online search and found T&K -- they answered my phone call immediately and were able to schedule me within 2 weeks. I was sooooo happy. But what was the catch? THERE WASN'T ONE!!!! Not a single catch. They showed up on time, were fairly priced for the current market, did outstanding work, in a reasonable amount of time, and the techs were SOOOOOO nice. I went through at least eight of the top rated electricians in the Phoenix area. I spoke to two, and another two returned my call, and the rest never returned my call. Tommy was the only one that would work on a Saturday! Amazing!! Do most licensed contractors in Arizona not work on weekends??!! Anyway, their prices were in line with the average electricians, even if he charged $50 more for working on a Saturday. I set it up weeks in advance, and they came out when we scheduled it. Tommy wasn't there, but he sent two of his workers. They installed my three ceiling fans and they even caught one of my mistakes. I pre-programmed the remotes to be different in each bedroom so it wouldn't interfere with the others. I guess I messed up on one... the remote didn't match the receiver exactly. My bad. They called Tommy after they checked the wiring, etc. All's well that ends well. I'd recommend this company, and I'll use them again if I need electrical work done! read more

UPDATE JULY 2023: Three things have happened in the last month to cause me to change my review to a 5 star review. 1st; my solar went offline. I had my notification setting on my phone set incorrectly, so I did not know I was without solar for almost a week. This resulted in us getting our first bill from APS for $65. I called T&K as soon I realized it and let a voicemail. They called me back within 3 minutes, saying that Stephen, the superintendent for the west valley would be out that afternoon to get it up and running. Within an hour, he was there and on the phone with Enphase to troubleshoot and got us back up and running. At that time, he shared his cell number with me and the Tech Support number for Enphase, just in case. Now, that is how service should be. It gets better. 2nd; I received a personal call from Tommy, the original owner of the company who has taken it back over. He asked me about my experience with T&K over the last year and wanted to know every detail that I could remember of the troubles of my installation project. I fully appreciate the time he took to hear me out on my frustrations. Then he asked me if I wanted to know what had happened, and what was happening on their end during that time. I said yes. He explained to me in as a much detail as I wanted, what has happened the past year and how he is working hard to make things right. He allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted and took as much time as I needed to understand everything. He is very down to earth and humble in his approach. Again, I really appreciated it. Finally; after sharing with him about my system going down resulting in my first $65 power bill, he promised to Zelle me $65 to reimburse us for that bill. This was far above and beyond what I expected. Not only did he promise this, he followed through and sent me the money. Also, he shared his personal cell phone with me in case there is anything in the future that I cannot resolve through normal channels. Updated conclusion: As long as Tommy stays in charge, which he plans on doing, I would highly recommend having them do solar on your home. read more

All I can say is wow !! Our smoke alarms went off at 2 AM even though the handyman just changed the batteries in all the units. Our electrician could not come out to help us. I found Tommy on Yelp !! They installed a tesla charger at my house and i am just amazed with how fast they were. The price was super competitive. They called 30 min just to make sure i was home and they were there within minutes. I am very happy i chose T & K for the work done. I needed an outlet grounded and a chandelier hung and right away he started troubleshooting my issues. I was amazed with the speed and craftsmanship of the work he did. I needed multiple small electric jobs done, but with the COVID Stay at home order, it was hard to find an electrician available. I called Tommy at T&K and he said they would be able to handle my jobs: troubleshoot a non-functioning ceiling fan, replace another ceiling fan, install a new pendant light Pot Rack in the kitchen and fix several 3-way switch issues. Pedro Madril was the actual electrician who came. He practiced good social distancing within current guidelines, etc. and was able to resolve all of our issues including installation of a new lighted pot rack in the kitchen with minimal effort and time. 5+ Stars!! Was dealing with (scary) low voltage in our house. Called and spoke with the owner who was very professional and polite. By chance, he was able to get someone out within the hour!!! Pedro came out, and (after clearing a nice path to our very overgrown electrical box) was able to diagnose that it was an APS problem. He spoke with APS, explained to them the problem in detail, and arranged for one of their techs to fix the problem - same day! I called T & K after talking to two other contractors. I sure am glad I gave T & K a call. Tommy came out and gave me a quote on my project ( rewiring my house because of the aluminum wiring and my house was not grounded; I live in Arcadia and the home is very old) at a very reasonable price. Not only was the quote reasonable but Tommy even patched all the drywall himself after he was done. There was a lot of cuts in the drywall but after he patched it. It looks like my drywall was never even cut. In addition to rewiring my whole house. I also needed my panel updated as it was about 30 years old. Tommy and his crew of three guys got my house required and updated my panel and did an amazing job. Tommy came out to our house and installed two outlets. He was able to quote for this job fairly accurately over Yelp which was a plus for our schedules -- and the actual cost ended up being less than the quote as he completed the work quicker than expected. Clearly he is honest. In addition he had no issues placing the outlets within a cabinet and on top of our cabinets for out of sight access - both outlets work properly and look good (see pictures). Horrible customer service 0 follow up. Loan funded for $59 k 2 months ago and still no operating solar. It's been 6 months and I regret ever letting them in my house. Be careful who you get solar through. All they care about is money not providing the product they promise. What can I say but Pedro exemplifies true workmanship! He is hard working, dedicated, and finds ways to fix things the right way when it comes to Electrical issues! He dedicated himself on the day he fixed our pool light and I could not be happier!
