I had Overson Roofing come out to inspect my roof. I was very impressed with the service. They were on time and very professional. They told me the condition of my roof and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I will definitely call them again next year. read more

Very reliable company. Fast, professional and maintained their quality. They are not the cheapest but they do great work.

I think they did a good job. Our entire roof was completed in less than 9 hours. I have no idea what they did up there. No one seemed to know they'd be done in A DAY! There are no pictures of how the underlayment is/was laid. It all happened so fast. I'm glad it was done so quickly, but exactly what it looks like under the tile is anybody's guess. I stay up night's worrying about this. The salesperson was very professional, but I'm certain we paid way more than if we'd have chosen a company that would have taken at least 2 days, minimum, so we could at least have a clue as to what occurred under the tile. Glad it's done but disappointed at not knowing or seeing what they did under the tile. Oh and I never received a detail estimate of labor and materials or tax charged. Disappointed that we didn't take our time with this purchase. read more

Met these folks at the recent Home Show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Offered a free roof inspection, and a $50 Amazon gift card. Since my roof is 21 years old, took them up on their offer. You never know what to expect in these situations. I was pleasantly surprised. Joe Adkins, showed up on time, and after inspecting the roof, told me it was in good shape-and it would be disingenuous of him to try and sell me a new one. He did make a minor repair to one of the tiles-at no charge. Suggested I get it inspected annually though, due to its age. I found Joe to be very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and easy to communicate with. He made a video of the roof inspection, and true to his word, emailed it to me immediately. He also gave me the promised Amazon gift card. BTW, the home office was very good about confirming the appointment several times. They also sent a text with a picture of the tech, stating he was on his way. That's a nice added touch, because you know what the tech looks like. This one truly deserves five stars! read more

Overson Roofing is definitely a Five Star+ roofing company! Josh, the salesman, was extremely knowledgeable & the cost was competitively priced from our research. My husband continually checked in on the many roofing employees who all worked SO hard to do an excellent, thorough job!! They all were so respectful to accommodate our comings & goings while this work was being done, as well as doing a thorough clean up of our property afterward. The Managers, Office Staff, etc., were easy to contact, and wonderful employees to deal w/ as was everyone at Overson! Honestly, we can't give all concerned enough accolades as all were truly remarkable. We highly recommend Overson Roofing for your roof replacement/repair. Thank you, Overson, for working so hard to make this a positive-as-possible experience for a tough job. Wonderful company! The Wrights read more

Amateur flashing, very disappointing. Went from tile to shingle roof. A professional company would have done a much better job Overson Roofing reached out and they went back and replaced the existing flashing. I really appreciate their response and workmanship in the end. I highly recommend them on how the solved my problem. read more

These folks gave us a really good bid for a total roof replacement and they came with a good reputation. The young sales guy was knowledgeable and professional and gave me a pretty strong sales pitch, and finally accepted the fact that I was not going to sign that evening. After considering his quote and several other bids it was apparent their cost was significantly higher than the others - nearly 1/3 higher than the next expensive quote. They probably do great work, but were just too expensive. read more

Had our roof replaced by Overson roofing and we were happy with the results. They were able to get us in earlier than we expected, were very thorough when I asked them questions about the process, friendly and fast. They did our roof in under 3 days. I recommend Overson roofing to anyone looking to get a roof replacement. They also offer military discounts! read more

I got my roof replaced in 2014 and at that time, they did a great job. I had been quoted by 5 local roofers and I found Overson to be the best choice, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. As I planned to be in my home for a while, I went with quality over price. They were very organized and neat. They even had an apprentice picking up the nails with a magnet to keep their work area clean. 6 years later, a skylight cracked and had to be replaced. My first thought was to call them back. I am now experiencing a leak around the skylight and have contacted them 3 times. The first time, I was told that someone would call me back to schedule a visit. No one called me. I called back a week later and was speaking to someone and the line dropped while waiting for another person to come on the line. I called back and was told that more research needed to be done on my warranted and would be called. No response again. 2 more weeks after that, I called and spoke to another rep that seemed that they would be helpful. She said that they "had a system change" a few years back and do not have access to any of the warranty information from 5 or more years ago. She then said that they will need to dig for paper records and promised to call back. That was about a month ago so I am not expecting response at this point. What reminded me to submit this review were the 2 text message requesting referrals to my friends and family. I guess this is proof that they have not forgotten my phone number..too bad they are not using it to call me back.. even though these are probably automated texts, I still made sure to reply saying that they seem to have more business than they can handle and are unable to handle any new business so I will not be recommending them. read more

We had Overson Roofing come out to our Sunflower AZ manufactured home after another contractor provided us a bid. Another resident provided us with Overson Roofing contact info after they had a Foam Roof system put on their roof and were pleased. Thomas, the Estimator from Overson came and provided excellent, knowledgeable and understandable information and options for our roof and the condition of our roof. He also stated the small shingle side of the roof shouldn't be replaced as it had years of use still left. We elected to choose a new foam roof system on all the flat deck surfaces. Based on discussions with Thomas we elected to have the granules applied into the coating to protect the roof system. Additionally we added a second application of the elastomeric roof coating. The roof looks amazing and the bright white reflective coating coupled with the added insulation provided by the foam was a value in the long term. Jerry and Felipe did great work in applying the roof system. Carlos, the superintendent, came to inspect the work after each stage of the process and took pictures and communicated any needed details back to the crew and explained the next steps. Jenny and the officer staff were very good at communicating when the crew would show up and when for each stage of the process. We feel the roofing system by Overson is a good value and provides a 5 year Leak Free Warranty. Very pleased with the new foam roof system. read more

They came out and worked harder than almost any one reading this has ever worked. They did an excellent job. Only 4 star's because the price is 15% higher than any other bids taken. Another unfortunate problem is the roof looks so good the house looks to need new windows and updated paint. Seriously, the price is high but "you get what you pay for" is a real thing. Excellent craftsmanship. read more

I hired Overson after getting 2 bids for my new roof. Overson wasn't the least expensive however, Thomas seemed the most honest & professional. Everything was great except my HOA gardener said that the new roof doesn't have the bird stops anymore. This is a problem being I live in the desert where there are more birds than rocks. I called Overson & they said they would have Thomas call me to no avail. I've left 3 messages, still no call. The bottom line is they now won't put the bird stops back & they never told me or gave me the option to pay more to have this done. After paying 21,000 for a new roof (for a 1900 sq ft townhome) you would think they would have been more informative. Super disappointed. read more

Overson spray for our flat roof has made the home cooler and safer. There are no cracks for water to seep in our home. Thomas clearly explained the coating method with the warranty and the price was reasonable. The roof crew (wish I knew their names) was hard working and efficient. Victor came after the work was done and took pictures of the work so we could see the work quality. We are in our seventies so no ladders for us. Everything was handled quickly and politely. THEN we even received a hand written thank you in the mail!! What a thoughtful and appreciative company. We highly recommend them. read more

I'm very happy with the whole experience with Overson Roofing. Jan came out and walked my roof, expaining what I needed done and the process. He went down to his truck and came back with a written estimate. That was completly different from another company that does a lot of advertising on TV. They came out and spent more time on telling me about their company than answering my questions about my roof. I called the saleman three days later and he said he would e-mail me the quote. A week later, I called the office and asked for the quote. He missed spelled my name and never called me to see if I got it or had any questions. I called the office again wth questions and he said he only returns calls in evening and not to talk to the office, because it would get him in trouble. Sadly, my neighbor used them. After numerious times having them come back, they still have troubles. The super warranty doesn't do you any good if it wasn't done right the first time. The three man crew worked well together on moving the tile, putting down the underlayment and reinstalling the tile. They took extra care on walking the yard to pick up all the nails and debris. The supervisior, Beau Putman came out each day and answered all my questions. He walked the roof with me on a final inspection to make sure I was happy with the job. From talking to the office help to each one of the workers, they are a solid roofing company. read more

Re-roofed 1,200 sq ft house. In 2 days . I did not care if they would have taken longer. Looks great.

On a scale of 1 to 10 Overson Roofing is a 12! In today's world finding a company that is committed to excellence from beginning to end is difficult at best. From our initial contact to ongoing communication with everyone at Overson, our expectations were exceeded. Overson's sales and office staff were helpful and efficient. Applause especially for both the roofing and tile replacement team (Antonio, Felipe, Ails, and Henry--under the professional supervision of Victor) were amazing. This complete roof replacement, including working with a separate solar panel company, was done in over 100 degree weather, on budget and on time, exceeding our expectations. Shortly after the job was finished a monsoon rolled in! Perfect timing, Overson! read more

e have used this company for many roofing issues that have cropped up in the seven years that we have owned this house. Some of the issues were genuine head scratchers, but these folks are true professionals and Leak Experts, they found each problem we brought them, and fixed them for good and for a reasonable cost. The workers were neat and professional, and the leadership was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. It's a family owned and run business, and you can see that in the work they do. This is the one contractor that I have gone through the bother of going to the BBB and putting a high rating for in my 20+ years as a homeowner. Highly recommend!! read more

Overson Roofing did a great job on our roof. Our roof hadn't been replaced in a while and they did an excellent job. Our roof was torn up by the Monsoon in Sept and we scheduled for October. Overson completed the roofing replacement in between two big storms and completed the job in three days. They replaced sections of wood on the roof as well as installed CertainTeed Landmark shingles we requested. The estimate was clear and concise, priced well and they helped add in the items we needed such as a roof ridge vent. The cleanup was good as well as the workmanship. The roof looks great and held up in the storms immediately after they completed. Each part of dealing with Overson was professional from quote to payment. The only thing I would improve is a more digital/online/email/text based invoice and status update service as the invoices were hard copies with no digital invoices etc. Other than that the communication was great and pleasant which is not always the case with Arizona roofing companies. I would highly recommend Overson Roofing and will use them again in the future. read more

We have used Overson Roofing over the past 15 years just for minor repairs. It was time to replace our roof of 22 years. We decided on Overson because of past experiences. We were so glad to go with them on the new roof. They did a first class job. Showed up every day and never stopped working. Their price included things that other companies wanted to charge extra for. Every night they cleaned up the driveway before leaving and at the end of the job cleaned up everything. Their supervisor checked in every day to see if there were any concerns. What more could you ask for. We were super please with the job they did. First Class all the way. read more

Extremely pleased with my roof replacement that Overson Roofing did. The estimator, Mike, was knowledgeable, professional, and thoroughly explained the process and my options. I had about four other companies out for a quote and they were very competitive. When it came time to replace the roof, the Oscar crew did a fantastic job and got my 1600 sqft house done in 2.5 days. There are lots of other roofing companies out there, but I'm glad I went with Overson. read more

NEGATIVE STARS!!!!! waited a week for them to come out on an EXTREMELY important appointment for new roof replacement in Mesa. NO SHOW NO CALL BACK EVER LITERALLY NEVER no email nothing I left so many voicemails made us wait for a week for an urgent quote needed for roof replacement and this company lied. They never showed never answered a call never returned a voicemail TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE SHAMEFUL! I called on the 11/14 and they gave me a "soonest" appointment for 11/23. Took our business elsewhere and got the full roof replaced. With these business practices I doubt the company will be around much longer. Good thing we didn't end up using them if we needed their warranty they'd probably be MIA! read more

Earlier this year we had Overson Roofing inspect our 10-year-old tile roof. There were some minor repairs needed which were performed quickly and professionally. They answered my questions about tile roof maintenance and longevity. After the bad storm last month (September 2020) we noticed a concrete piece on a corner of the house had shifted out of place. Overson was out the next day to check our entire roof. No other problems were found and they repaired the corner piece at no charge. We are more than pleased to have found Overson. Highly recommended. read more

Over the decades I have hired dozens of contractors to work on my personal residencies. Due to a couple small leaks from the last rainstorm and age of the current roof I finally decided that it was time for a replacement. My criteria was to hire a company that had been in business for at least 10 years, was licensed and bonded, had at least a 4 star + customer review rating and an A- to A+ rating with the BBB. After a half dozen comprehensive bids I chose Overson. Mike the (Estimator/Salesperson) made an excellent presentation, Antonio and crew had an excellent work ethic and Beau the (Superintendent) stopped by all 3 days to keep me updated and informed. Their price was also very competitive with the others, except for one that was ridiculous. I have done very few reviews over the years except for the businesses that I have felt have gone above and  beyond expectations. They have earned all my future roofing business. If you are having roof issues I highly recommend you give these folks a call. You won't be disappointed. read more

We used Overson Roofing back in November 2019. We'd had a leak and with a roof over 20 years old we decided to replace. Got several estimates from various roofing companies. We found their price to be competitive, preferred the quality of their underlayment material and found the company to be very professional. They are a "Rosie on the House" certified contractor. Rosie on the House is a great and reputable local home repair rafio program. That's how I first learned about them. I had initially wanted to see how roof held up through some weather before reviewing then got on with life and forgot. We're in our fourth year with the new roof and have never had any issues. I think it took 3, maybe 4 days. Everything went great, it was completed on schedule and I was given photos of areas of the roof as well to see final results. They were very professional and I had absolutely no issues. Everyone from the person giving the initial estimate to the office staff and crew leader were professional and friendly. It's always going to be a noisy process replacing a roof, it was as expected. I recommend them and will hire them again in the future. read more

An update.. I submitted a copy of the receipt from our painter who painted the flashing and Overson sent a check covering it!

Unhappy with my former roofing company, and after listening to the experience and expertise of Overson ownership on a past Rosie on the House broadcast, I decided to give these guys a chance. I had water damage on some sections of decking that needed to be addressed before the next monsoon season. Everything started out ok, but one business day prior to the materials being delivered, I called (to check in) and spoke with Bianca and she stated that ABC Roofing was behind on deliveries and would be delivering the day after the scheduled work. I told her that I had scheduled the day off from work to be there for the start of the job and that this wasn't going to work for me. So she told me the crew could just pickup the materials themselves and bring it with them. Not sure why I had to call to find this out. People work and I'm no exception, but she made it right. Thank you! (Side note: ABC showed up the day after the job with all the material and I had to turn them away.) Once the job began, everything went smoothly with the exception of the language barrier between myself and the crew. I called the estimator, Beau, and asked if there was an area supervisor that could drop by for me to express some concerns. He sent Jose out, who was also somewhat hard to understand but we got through it and I had my concerns addressed. They completed the entire back of the house in one long day and did about as well as can be expected with the cleanup, especially the nails (I helped throughout the day so it wasn't that bad). And luckily, I covered the top of my AC unit with plywood because I found dried mortar on top of it where they mortared the ends of the ridge caps and the excess fell to the ground. Would it have hurt anything? Probably not, but no matter who you use, cover your AC unit if you're having work done on that side of the house. All in all, they did a nice job and I'm satisfied! There is a little painting to be done on and around the new flashing and undersides of the new decks (under the soffits) but it's minimal. Thanks Overson, and thanks to your crew! read more
