I needed to extend exiting tile installed 4 years ago by a different company to other parts of my home (master bedroom, walk-in closet and office). I had additional tile for them to use. They matched it up perfectly, executed as promised and left the place 100% clean. The entire process was so easy: I measured the room and sent pictures. I got a bid with-in hours and they schedule my install. They showed up on time, were very courteous and talked through any issues they encountered. Beck's Floor Installations restored my faith that honest and trustworthy businesses still exists. Prior to finding Beck's, I went with an "express" company that promised discounts, free furniture moving, and a three day completion job. Long story short, this "express" company sent installers who arrived an hour late, told me they weren't aware they would need to move furniture, and had pet allergies. They left. I was told by the "express" company new installers would arrive early the next day. They didn't. Apparently, they called in sick. In the meantime, the "express" company had charged my credit card for the entire amount, not having completed any work! I worked with my bank to get my money back. The "express" flooring company apologized and wanted to give me a "discount," but I replied money can't buy integrity and trust. Now for the good news: I did more research and found Beck's Floor Installation. They had five star reviews everywhere -- Google, Yelp, Reddit, etc., and now I know why. Their service and professionalism is old school: They are people you can trust and who are very personable, reliable and take pride in their work. Dave Beck came to my house to provide me with an estimate and helped me decided on a floor tile. I asked for his expertise and opinion; I never felt forced or obligated to purchase anything specific. He was no nonsense, very professional, and provided me with an itemized list of the costs involved. Misty Beck was empathetic and understanding from the start. I explained how the other company had seemed to take my business for granted and didn't follow through. On top of that, my house was a mess because I had already taken things out of my closets and smaller items out of my bedrooms, anticipating the "express" company would stand by their word, which they didn't. Misty got my flooring install scheduled within a week (fortunately, the tile I had chosen was in stock!). The installers arrived on time, efficiently working together to move the heavy furniture from the work spaces, tearing out the carpet and pad, working carefully and kindly around my pets, preparing the floors, and bringing in the new tile for the following days work. I was, again, thankful and relieved knowing that quality and pride in one's work and business still existed. The tile install, clean-up, and everything about my project went extremely well. Just as a side note we started going down the path with empire today and immediately regretted it. When we got the contract, we didn't like it, so we didn't sign and asked for a refund. They essentially held our money hostage for two weeks and would not refund it until we made a complaint with the BBB. Long story short do not go with any of the big companies as they are in for quick cheap wins and they contract the work out to whoever will do it the cheapest. I did not used this company after getting a quote, so my review is based only on my experience with their representative. While Misty the owner was very nice and promptly got in touch through yelp to schedule the appointment, the guy who was sent just seemed like he didn't want to be there. He complained twice while measuring my house saying that "there was a LOT of carpet." I'm not sure why that put him out since I would have been a bigger job. He wasn't very helpful when going through carpet samples, which I had to look at in his truck rather than in my house. He initially sent me someone else's estimate. After a couple of phone and text exchanges the price went up two more times even though the reasons given were already provided in the initial contact. Ended up having another company do the work for better price. In response to Becky: We did discuss the carpet removal and it was even mentioned in the Yelp quote request. Your first quote also mentions you would do baseboards and furniture removal, but when I offered to do that myself you only agreed to not raise the price again. read more

Beck's flooring was excellent. We were looking to extend our main tile in to the bedrooms/den and put new tile in bathrooms. The job required removal of carpet and demoing of our original tile. Misty was very responsive to my inquiry, responding within the hour. Within a few days, Dave came out to measure and we had a quote within a couple days. Dave Beck did a great job with the carpeting needed at our home. The company seems to be a small mom and pop business-my favorite. Dave visited our home to view the "patient" and take measurements. Later, he emailed a proposal. The installer, Julian, and another person whipped out the work in just a few hours. They brought the new carpet with them and did a great job installing and cleaning up. All along they kept us informed about the progress. The final price was exactly that price that Dave had proposed in writing. As with all contractors I check with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to verify that a license is current and that there are no active complaints. I got several bids for a simple flooring job -- replace laminate with vinyl in a portion of a large "great room." Beck's came in in the middle of the price range of the estimates/bids received. I decided to go with them based on the excellent Yelp reviews. Sometimes cheaper isn't always the right choice. Especially when you're dealing with something that you'll see every day for 20-30 or more years. While there was a bit of an issue with the installation, Beck's proved their mettle by returning and dealing with it. That's where this company really shines. The installers were incredibly nice and courteous and provided real white glove service. The floor is truly gorgeous. Misty was always kind and courteous. So I have never written a review on Yelp before, but my husband and I have been incredibly impressed with Beck's flooring. If you've been searching for flooring and backsplash installation, your hunt is over! I called Misty at Beck's flooring to get a quote on some carpeting. Dave came out to our house with carpet samples and was extremely helpful in helping me choose a carpet. I put my order in and then preceded to second guess myself and changed my mind. Misty was so understanding and Dave even came out to my house once again just to make sure I was comfortable with the color carpet. I really appreciated their willingness to go above and beyond to make sure I was confident in my carpet choice. Misty scheduled Robert and his son to do the install and they were SO wonderful! They showed up on time, worked extremely hard and cleaned up everything before they left. They did our living room, family room and stairs and we couldn't be happier! The have been installing carpeting for many years and their experience shows. We then decided to use Beck's flooring with our kitchen remodel for our backsplash. I highly recommend David and his team. David is the owner and personally came to our house to look at what we were needing. They were honest and didn't try to up sell me on tearing out my tile as we had laminate on top of it. They were the most affordable and had the best samples out of everyone else we met. They did an absolutely amazing job. They were quick, efficient and the quality of product is exceptional. I'm absolutely in love with my new floors. It brightens up our home so much. They were flexible with our needs and finished on time. We also got carpet installed and they are so soft. Everyone was professional and answered our questions or concerns. The only thing I wish I would have known in advance was the gap on our door frames after the installation. Our vinyl was thinner than our laminate so we will have to get that replaced. "We don't need the work we're busy enough" -Actual words from technician in my home giving me a price quote Technician showed up early for a scheduled estimate when I was in the middle of a zoom meeting for work, I asked him to wait a few minutes until meeting was over and went out to grab him, no big deal. Once he came back and entered my home his attitude changed entirely. He was refusing to answer questions, grumbling instead of using the words 'yes' or 'no', and otherwise doing everything he could to signal he was annoyed and pissed off. I tried to be professional and deal with it because I just really wanted to get this flooring job done. I repeatedly asked for samples and he said "well I don't know what you want you need to figure it out". That's funny because when Misty and I spoke on the phone she promised there would be samples brought over for me to look at. The best part was once he realized the size of the flooring job was only 500sqft and started mentioning mimimim charges, he left my house literally saying, and I quote, "We don't need the work we're busy enough". Our saga begins when Dave came to our park model to do an estimate for replacing our existing laminate flooring. Dave walked in, took a look at our kitchen floor and said, "You have a water problem. You need to call your insurance company NOW. To which I said, "WE DO?!!" and "WE DO?!!" We had no idea that our seven year old Frigidaire refrigerator's, just replaced, filter was spewing water every time we got a glass of water, or when the ice maker refilled the ice tray. Dave continued to do the estimate, and we called the insurance company who had a mitigation company out to our place in a couple of hours. Skip ahead five weeks: the underlayment is dry, and ready for the new flooring. We had set an install date, and Misty said that the installers, Bob and Bob, father and son, would be at our house at 8:30 am, and it should take a couple of days to install our flooring. The guys showed up at 8:30 am, on the dot. They were punctual, polite, fun to be around, and efficient with their time, (if I left them alone). They had great attention to detail, and when they left for the day, they cleaned up after themselves, so we didn't have to worry about tripping over material, or tools, like so many craftsmen I have had, in the past. If you are looking for a quality, professional company to install new flooring, I would highly recommend Beck's Floor Installation. Becks Flooring did a fantastic job installing new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout our "new to us" home in Queen Creek. We believe these are the best floors we have ever had in a home. We were still living 750 miles away while the job was being done, and Becks delivered big time. Our friends in the area were able to check in on progress for us, but that was really unnecessary. Beck's crew was on the job, Dave did a great job laying things out, and Misty was excellent in communicating all that we needed to know.
