I really wanted to update my review with a positive response, unfortunately that's not going to happen. Victor the owner finally credited me $1215 2 days ago for the charge that they processed to paint my baseboards. The only part of my baseboard that they painted was the caulking of the nail holes and the caulking of the corners. See how great they did..... They had to come back twice and still don't have it right. Victor advised me on February 23 that he ordered more product to finish fixing the rest of my floors and has since been MIA. My floors are still not fixed, I still don't have the flooring ordered to fix my floors and here I am. What's next???? DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. read more

Took 3+months to install 900 sq ft of flooring. Due to poorly skilled and unsupervised workers, I had to buy 38% more tiles. Also paid for dustless demolition which was not adhered to. Breathing construction dust from multiple demolitions sent me to the doctor for a sinus infection. I am suing them for money owed plus loss of use of my home's Quiet Enjoyment Among other things. Said it was going to be done in 2-3 days. It took them 2 weeks. Baseboards were done poorly, multiple places in the floor have cracks in them (still), they had to rip up 2 sections of the floor one in kitchen and one in living room because the missed a nail under neath so the wood was wobbly. We also had carpet installed and the stairs look like crap and multiple areas in the room you can see where there is a start/ finish of a roll. I dont even believe the quality of the product is as good as they say as numerous boards are chipped in the cracks. All the finishes up against walls are off. The baseboards have gaps. The finishes by the sliding exterior doors and closet doors are not align. Pay the extra and go with a higher quality company. These guys do not care about your home or project. It was like pulling teeth to get a property manager out to walk the job. Still paid full price too. We had to have these guys come out numerous times to fix things and still it looks like crap. read more

Gabe & Jessy came out to my house to do measurements on tile and flooring. They knew before they set foot on the property that we have a General Contractor and would be using them for installation. Gabe & Jessy chose to be jerks and not tell us they were not giving us the measurements since we were not using them as installers. Shop Save & Floor I was checking reviews for another flooring store and came across Shop Save & Floor. I'm glad I did!!! I was impressed with their reviews and they are ROC's. I didn't look any further. I had 1300 ft of ceramic tile removed, new LVP installed plus new baseboards throughout the house. Some companies I spoke with only did removal or installation, some installed but subbed out the tile removal. This created a much longer timeframe and too many different people to hold accountable. SS&F does it all, it was faster and the transition between the jobs was seamless. First, their dustless tile removal is an amazingly clean process! Second, once the ceramic tile was removed some serious cracks and leveling issues were apparent. Victor came out immediately to assess the problem. They were able to begin repairs that day, keeping completion close to the original timeline. The LVP and baseboard installation went smoothly and I couldn't be happier with the completed job! I am very impressed with everyone I spoke with or worked at my house. Communication at every level was clear and easy to understand. All workers were polite and respectful of me and my property. Beyond that, what sets this company apart is their desire to make sure I was happy with their work! If I can only give this company a zero star I would. I would like to warn the people who plan to do business with FloorOne, please reconsider your choice. I was referred to them by floors and decor and I didn't realize what a nightmare I was about to endure with this company. The installers Jose and Carlos were the worst installers this company sent me. I'm including the pictures of how these two guys made a major mess in my house and how they had no respect for my home. Last time I had floors installed in my other home, there was only one installer and he had a designated place to cut the floors so the mess was contained. These installers didn't do that. They cut floor panels wherever they were working which created dust and dirt all over the house. Wherever they worked, they laid floor panels and tools in that exact place. I found floor panels on top of my glass Pyrex in the pantry. They left tools on top of my kitchen counter and vanity. I ended up cleaning up my entire house due to all of the dust everywhere. I complained about the mess and they sent the installers back to clean up. No one ever came by to check on the progress or perform quality control of the work which Paul the manager said he was going to do. All Paul was concerned about was us paying for the job so he can activate our two year warranty. Like I said earlier, these guys do not quality control their work. I noticed they installed floor panels behind my safe that were chipped as if I wasn't going to catch this mistake because it was behind a safe. I told Paul about this and the installers came back to fix the floor panels. Just when I thought my floors were finally perfect it wasn't. I noticed more floor panels were damaged, which I had originally thought it was dirt but it wasn't, and the stair nose was installed messy. I called Paul and told him to send his installers back out to fix it. It took another 17 days for them to get them out here to fix the rest of the damaged flooring. At this point I actually thought they were no longer going to honor their warranty. I actually decided to escalate this problem to another manager above Paul which was Magali. If I didn't bring this up to her attention, who knows how much longer this would've dragged on before these floors were fixed. Magali told me that the installers were coming in the morning and they were going to call me 30 minutes before they arrive. It was getting late on Saturday so I decided to call the installer directly. The installer told me he can't come to my house right away because he has to pick up the stair nose for my floor that is all the way in the floor and decor in Mesa. Mind you I live in Sun City which is at least a 30 minute drive going there because the installers were coming from Phoenix, then drive back to Sun City which is another 40 minutes. By the time they arrived at my house it was already 11:30 which half of the day has gone to waste. If Paul the manager was thinking he would've just scheduled this second installation another day instead of wasting our time. We had other plans that day but we had to cancel bc of his inefficient scheduling. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT do business with Floors One. Save yourself from getting completely stressed out and dealing with such poor service. Also they will slow walk their warranty because once you pay them in full, they don't care about you so they are not in a hurry to correct your situation. read more

Part II, Installation. First of all we don't like to be disorganized, have dust or strangers in our home. When you re-do your entire home carpet flooring you'll need to learn to deal with it. This is why people who've had new floors installed say "it's worth it in the end", they know the pain you will incur to get the beautiful result you want. And the company you choose for the project can make it all less painful. We are so happy we chose FLOOR ONE. We were lucky to have Gerardo Ballesteros and Louis Ornelas as our installers. They were professional craftsman with a work ethic that was astonishing. They were perfectionist with leveling the floor and our concrete floor was troublesome. We had to pay more than the expected installation cost because our carpet buried the flaws, however watching them work extremely hard to fix it, we can't complain. Our project took 6 full work days to complete and the company owner Victor called or visited his crew & us 3 of the days. As a follow-up to my tile review, Floor One was out last week to finish my flooring project with the carpet installation. We picked a Mohawk brand with absolutely no shedding. Again, our guy Ben selected a great carpet crew led by Ramon. He had two other guys on the crew with a second installer named Rosario. I wasn't sure if I should wait until the pandemic eased up, but half my house still needed to be finished. Ben assured me that the crew would wear masks and gloves and the day of the installation, Ben came over and checked the temperatures of the crew. We purchased our flooring from Floors & Decor, and at the recommendation of a salesman, contacted Floor One for installation. I should have paid attention to the reviews I read. Very few people have had good experiences with this company. The guy who did the estimate was very nice, but first had to reschedule the appointment, then was late getting to our home. We scheduled the demo on Monday and both my husband and I took off work to be home to move the furniture. They didn't show, and I had to call to ask where they were. They asked to reschedule for Tuesday. I told them I could not take off a second day in a row. My son came over to wait for them. They were scheduled to arrive between 8-10 am. At 11:36 they rang the bell, stayed 10 minutes then left "to get the tools they needed" for the job. I called the office to find out what was going on. Victor said he would deal with it internally and a new team would be at my house in 90 minutes. They arrived around 2:10. Juan and Jesus did a beautiful job on the tile. My issue was not with the workmanship but the absolutely abominable communication. I received daily calls once the job actually began. I'm sure that was due mostly to the fact that it was an $8,000 installation. On the last day, I received a text from Jason telling me they would install my toilet, vanity, and W&D once they finished the baseboards. We thought that was nice considering the job took days longer than we discussed with Cris before scheduling. At 7:30 pm on Monday Victor called to say they would not be installing anything. He said Jason "was not looking at the scope of work when he text." Since my house will be full of people tomorrow for Thanksgiving and they just finished yesterday, Victor isn't very wise to the ways of customer service. He called me for payment while I was driving to Home Depot for the parts needed to install my toilet. Yvonne also called the day before asking for payment before baseboards were installed. I had to remind her that they were not finished with my contract. I am not the first to complain about this. I should have completed more research before agreeing to use Floor One. To put the icing on the cake, they greatly overestimated the amount of tile, mortar, and baseboards by 1/3 each. Now I have to return all of this to the store myself. Very disappointing experience. Juan and Jesus are this company's only saving grace. Those two are the only reason I gave any stars. These two deserve 5! read more

Floor One was recommended by the restoration company I used due to water damage. I was to pay personally for their service, as I wanted to get my stairs carpeted, which were not damaged by water. Danielle came out, was very pleasant, and left me a book of carpet samples. I told her I would let her know when the workman finished so I could get carpet installed. This has been close to a month, and I am still waiting for it to happen. I have called several times, left messages and never head back. I did finally get a hold of her supervisor, who said he would take care of it. I never heard back from him or her. When calling once again, I was finally connected to her. She said her representative was out of town, so she was not able to get larger carpet samples. This was over a week ago, and I am STILL waiting to hear back from her. He measured the rooms and gave us competitive pricing for the installation, removal and disposal of the existing carpet and floor prep. He also provided direction on how much tile, mortar and grout to buy which made it easy to firm up the details with Floor and Decor. Once we had all the tile, etc., delivered we called to schedule the installation. They scheduled the installation to start the next day. Luis arrived on schedule the next morning and got started right away. He was fantastic. He was polite, professional and personable. He arrived on schedule each morning and kept us informed of what he had planned each day. He was neat and tidy. We are thrilled with the installation and highly recommended Floor One. read more

Each employee that came in to the property were very nice and they worked really hard - the demolition refuse was removed promptly, areas were were curtained off to eliminate as much dust as possible. The owner/manager was very on top of the work being done after my contractor let me know the installers who put the laminate down the first time did a very poor job. Since this was a remodel and this part of the remodel was on us, we hired Floor one to install our flooring in the entire home. After the owner/manager came to inspect the work, he stepped up and had another crew come in and redo the living room. The living room and all other rooms appear good, but, the kitchen is NOT. After trying to get a response from Floor one regarding the wavy (hills and valley) flooring....we realize they won't be coming to fix the issue since we've already paid in full. I won't recommend them. I think it could have been a positive experience, but I don't like to be ignored when businesses don't take pride in their work. read more

They were supposed to get back to me within a week with an estimate delivered it called a sales person at least 20 times left numerous messages last text messages never get one with her one of the phone numbers gave us what's the disconnected number so I do not know if there's companies will be in business or just playing around with the customers. Dealing with this company was a joke, from the very start. From appointments being canceled to the worst wood look tile laying I have ever seen. Francisco, his wife and maybe a son show up to do job in a mustang. They had to remove carpeting and haul it off which was a joke because they had to pile it on top of the car. Showed up late every day, made excuses for everything going wrong. We have so many chipped tile, uneven tile, scratches all over baseboards, grout up on paint and a messes to clean up. Victor took 600 off of installation price but I should have demanded all my money back. He said he could send same guy back to fix everything but there was no way we wanted the quack back in our house! We bought our materials at Floor & Decor and they recommended this place to install. had my flooring done by floor one a couple months ago. I found them as they were the contractor inside Floor and Decor. The job was done in a speedy manner, but with little care for the quality of work. Not only did I call them back out to fix things (uneven floor, stair noses not properly glued down). I had another company come out and take a look and they said the stairs were not properly done (something about a 2x4 piece either needing to be removed or added to on the steps) instead Floor One left a gap behind the flooring on each step making them loose and can get pushed back to little pressure. For the amount of money flooring is DO NOT go with them. The new company smoothed out my transitions from tile to floor by tapering the edges and it is so much nicer and more clean that what floor one did read more

I hired Floor One through Installation Made Easy/Floor and Decor, because I purchased my engineered hardwood flooring at Floor and Decor and felt I would be better protected if something went wrong by using their people. Right off the bat, there were issues with Floor One's estimator that came out, Jed Rutherford. He no longer works there, or so I was told. The second estimator, Robert Gray, called me to set up an appointment to see if he could make things right and win my business. I was sold on the "dustless tile removal" system, almost $4k for about 1100 sq ft. I was assured I would not regret it. I had seen it demonstrated on Youtube and one of the things that appealed to me was the lack of flying debris, which was of concern as I have a somewhat high end house. Other flooring companies had told me that there would be extensive prep to protect my cabinets and other items that could not be moved during the demolition process. We are into week one of my installation and here are the issues: the installers showed up day one expecting the tile to have already been removed. They started moving furniture out into my garage when the tile demo guy showed up. There was ZERO prep work done to protect my cabinets and other objects that were not removable. The tile machine, although it had a vacuum attached, was not at all like the demo I had seen on Youtube. Shards of tile flew everywhere, and damage has been done to walls, cabinets, an antique bathroom vanity, and a large framed mirror mounted to a wall. I was offered $100 compensation for the damage done to the mirror only. And the dust is unbelievable. The installers began prepping the concrete sub floor, patching and grinding, dust everywhere. Then on day two they began installing the wood flooring, all the while there are chunks of concrete, tile and dust everywhere. They are walking in it, it's all over the hardwood and no blankets or pads are laid down to protect the newly laid wood. We are at the end of week one, it is now the weekend and they have left, with strips of tape on the floor securing the planks until the glue dries. And the glue, it is everywhere on the floor. I asked about why they weren't removing the glue as they went along and I was assured it would come off without harming the finish as the wood has a "tough finish" on it, but I have my doubts. And I'm fairly certain that tracking the dust all over the floors repeatedly is dulling the finish as well. And the estimator, Robert, who said "I will be there every step of the way to make sure the job goes well", I haven't seen hide nor hair of him all week. I am seeing one area along a wall that the gap is so large, I'm doubtful the base molding will cover it. And another area of unpatched concrete that the flooring has been partially laid over. The installers also moved my extremely heavy commercial grade range by lifting it up by the handles, and loosened the handle considerably. The door was also crooked, which concerned me that the hinges had been damaged. I asked them who to file a claim with, and before I knew it they had the oven door off the range and it was taken apart. I told them not to mess with it, just please tell me who to file a claim with and let an expert handle it. I was having company from out of town arriving for an extended visit and did not want anything to happen to the range. I told them the glass was EXTREMELY fragile, emphasized it 3 times. The kid took a power drill to the back of the handle to tighten the screws and as soon as he touched the door the glass shattered. The range is 15 years old, and KitchenAid told me the part was backordered (it cost $450 BTW) and they could not guarantee it would ever be available again. Fortunately, the kid who broke it was able to get it fixed by a glass guy, but he had to take the oven door with him, and it was not without an incident where the wrong size was delivered. End result, I had no oven for 3 weeks and not for the entire time my guests were here. 3 months after installation, the floors look good and I've had no issues with the installation but still would not recommend them. They are a sub who subs out to subs, and clearly the protection of my property was a low priority with them. And because the kid who broke my oven was reluctant to tell me who to file a claim with, I suspect there might be insurance issues. I only allowed him to handle the repairs himself because he said he would get fired if his boss found out. read more
